I’m like. Saying this as a lesbian—sometimes you just have to realize that not every piece of media is going to be made for you.

I would love some. but this is#nt our show. i just think it’s interesting that ofmd — which stars and is written by many people of color — is getting so much hate for this#when other shows with white gays that focus on JUST MEN (whereas ofmd expands into representation of non-binary people) ARENT getting this#level of push back. idk. feels like entitlement to me.#you can’t look at an amazing show that has open queer rep that was written by a person of color & say ‘actually—‘ it doesn’t#fucking work like that. do you know how hard it is to get good queer rep. to get Genuinely well written snd funny queer rep? we need to face#the idea that not every piece of media is going to be written for you. I would love more lesbian/bi women representation. I would adore it.#but I also realize the importance of what we’re getting NOW and acknowledging this isn’t a show about me. snd that’s okay
