#naruto #kabuto #kabuto yakushi #everykabuto #fourth shinobi world war: climax #chapter 582 #itachi: we both lived as spies. as liars #that is true. i will give you that one itachi #but then itachi will go on to say ''I didn't know who or what I was at one point either''#which I do take issue with. i want elaboration on that. what point is he talking about #because from the way I see it. itachi has always known exactly who he was and what he wanted #he has always been complerely dedicated to the cause he believed was correct (serving konoha) and we're still being told that was right #like ofc I will admit that itachi went through some horrible things (BECAUSE OF KONOHA)#but it is NOT the same as kabuto's problems #itachi claiming he understands what kabuto went through because he's the same as itachi is just proof that itachi DOESN'T understand #at least that's how I see things #reading ahead a little i think itachi's point might be ''i thought i could do everything on my own and i was wrong about that''#which. has nothing to do with what kabuto is going through as a whole #i would be interested to hear what other people think of itachi's part here because i have no idea what he's talking about frankly

Honestly though... 'resilient' is actually a great word to use to describe kabuto.

In the sense that he takes a *lot* of hits throughout the series, but none of them really manage to keep him down. He gets thrown 50 feet into a tree by three tails Naruto, leaving a fucking crater, and he just heals himself, gets up and walks out like nothing happened. He slits his wrist and then fights until the blood loss affects his ability to fight, takes a plasma pill, and keeps going. The closest something comes to taking him out is the rasengan, a justu that SHOULD have been fatal, but he powers through that too. I think it's important to note that it isn't like he was preventing the majority of the attack from hitting him, he was getting hit by the full force of a rasengan and just HEALING FASTER THAN IT COULD KILL HIM. The jutsu is so powerful that he wasn't able to fully heal himself, and he clearly has some sort of internal bleeding, but in just a few minutes he's able to sit up again and help Orochimaru summon Manda, though he's obviously a bit worse for wear at that moment.

His body is able to handle every modification he gives it; he can even use sage mode, something that even Orochimaru wasn't able to do, and he's still able to go into sage mode after Orochimaru takes their chakra back from him.

The way Kabuto acts makes him seem a lot weaker than he is, I think. He really isn't that good at taijutsu, and he can't overpower most ninjas, but he does have a strength, a physical strength, and it's the ability to take a hit.

#naruto #kabuto #kabuto yakushi #mangacap #search for tsunade #chapter 168 #everykabuto #ok. here we go #this is actually a jutsu. basically preemptive medical ninjutsu on one's self #it's called yin healing wound destruction... and supposedly it's a justu only kabuto can pull of because of his 'natural resilience'#i suppose kabuto does seem pretty resilient when it comes to getting injured. which is shown both in this fight as well as in shippuden #interestingly... when I first read this part I drew a connection between this skill and tsunade's seal #and sure enough tsunade's seal is called 'yin seal: release'. so these likely use the same underlying jutsu. just in different ways #fun fact. tsunade using the seal to heal herself is stated by shizune to reduce her lifespan. :)#due to the reproduction of cells. :)#the very interesting part here is kabuto's claim that this is why orochimaru wanted him.#knowing this is a jutsu makes this match up more with the idea that orochimaru wanted him for his skills.#but this likely also includes whatever inherent quality kabuto has that makes him able to use this jutsu effectively #also... when I first saw this panel I started thinking. and my personal headcanon is that Kabuto is... an uzumaki #I thought learning more about this jutsu would make me reconsider that. but instead I feel like it makes more sense than ever #uzumaki are known for their strong life forces. which imo matches up with how kabuto is described as being resilient
