" should chopper be having that much sugar ? "
{ 🌸 } — @kaizokugaris
"No." Robin sighs heavily upon hearing the swordsman's question. "Eating that much... he'll have trouble sleeping again..."
Whenever the little doctor had insomnia, he would fetch Robin from the girls' dormitory and ask to spend the night with her. It was customary for the eldest to hum a lullaby or tell fanciful stories to the crew doctor. She loved it when she didn't feel unwell like she did that day. "Would you be kind today and help him sleep if he can't?"

i hate how no one can ever tell me for sure if it’s “just ancient proper nouns” or “every noun that ends with an s/z(/x) noise” or just “proper nouns that end in an s/z(/x)” “or literally only if it ends with an s fuck z and x and similar noises” or “actually yknow what. it IS jesus’s because it’s easier to pronounce go fuck yourself”

When my old computer died a couple of years ago, it took about twenty years’ worth of collected mp3s, chiptunes/mods, and so on. Somehow over the years every backup of my full collection had wound up on different virtual drives of the same physical drive (which imploded) or on my old mp3 player (which stopped working). Stuff from the last 5-10ish years is generally findable elsewhere, but the older it is, the more likely it’s gone. I’m mostly resigned to that -- I’m not sure I really need all those Mystic Knights Of The Oingo Boingo concert bootlegs anymore anyway. And uh. Most of it wasn’t exactly mine, if you get my drift.
There is one album I legitimately paid actual money for decades ago that I really wish I could get back.
Joy Machine put out The Best That Never Was in 1992, and then it was digitally rereleased on... mp3.com, I think, back when it was still a music service? -- but anyway, I bought the digital release when it came out in 2000. I listened to it many times. This is probably the most, like, single-y song, but it’s all got that melancholy new wave synthpop thing going on (here’s another I liked).
Probably I am not going to find a way to purchase The Best That Never Was again, or even get a good set of mp3s from whatever service you kids use to procure music these days; and I mean, I can and probably will rip all the songs from the YT videos, even though ennngghhhh extra layers of audio compression grossss. The original mp3s probably weren’t more’n like 128kbps max to even begin with.
But! Separate Ways has super been in my head the last few days, and theoretically posting about this could lead to me reaching my heart’s desire, because there’s the slightest chance that someone reading this also was alive to buy that album and still has it and would be willing to share. And even if not, you guys get an opportunity to hear some old-people music that I hope you also like.
And now it is bedtime, because it is 3:24 AM.

Ahed Tamimi's memoir is a call to action for all Gen Z to stand with Palestinians
Ahed Tamimi’s memoir is a call to action for all Gen Z to stand with Palestinians
2022-09-10 00:06:29
At the time of the confrontation, the 16-year-old girl was indignant over news that an Israeli soldier had shot her younger cousin Mohammad in the head with a rubber-coated bullet, seriously wounding him. It wasn’t the first time Tamimi stood up to an armed soldier, nor was it the first time such an encounter had been captured on film.
Palestinians hailed Tamimi as a hero.…

Unprompted - Always Accepting
@britishpokechap asked:
Zest trotted over to Guzma, tail wagging rapidly as he held a black thermos in his jaws. Its contents held some Tapu Cocoa made by Victor. The elderly hound whined softly, wondering if Guzma would like to share some of it with him.
He knew today was kind of a bad day for the former gang leader that he considers close family, so being the good boy that he is, he wanted to try and make things at least the tiniest bit better for him!
Zest isn’t wrong - Father’s Day is hard for Guzma. Nothing can undo the atrocities that he has endured at the hands of his biological father, after all, no matter how much the Bug specialist, his Pokemon, and his found family may wish it.
“Aww ... Hey, Zest. Do you want to share that Tapu Cocoa with me?” He gently strokes the Boltund’s fur, smiling in spite of the notifications he has from Guzmania Sr.’s persistent calls - all from pay phones and other such numbers that Guzma couldn’t exactly permanently block. “Thanks, bud. You’re a good boy! Hey, if you want ... I’m going to Nanu’s later, because he’s my Dad now, you know? If you don’t mind cats, maybe Victor will let you come with me.”
// Thank you! Please ask before continuing.

I actually never had a middle name but I want one just for fun (and I feel like it´s more socially acceptable to have weird/unusual ones so that´s cool), so I´ve been considering this for a few months now, and I´ve decided that my middle name will be Daizy (Daisy but spelled awesomely) because of FurReal Friends Daisy (it´s a With or Without Fur reference!!!!) and also because I think men having traditionally feminine names is really swag
