He watched her, a lot. It was one of the things he did openly as soon as they started dating. There was no longer any need to hide his affections towards her ( though some argued that they were barely hidden even before the two became a couple ), hence no longer a need to obscure the observation he did on a daily basis. Most times they were fickle; her varying attire, the occasional little bun she put her already short tresses into, her work out routine, her muscle tone, her not so healthy diet that she needed to correct, the lip balm she applied to avoid chapped lips that had been changing in flavour down the berries range. At least she applied lip balm now. But there was one thing that continuously lingered upon mind.  Katsuki would not consider Ochako chubby, per se. As they worked out and trained, she lost what was deemed to be baby fats upon body and developed toned muscles to be marveled at ( and he found those so very attractive ), but her facial features did not harden. As though locked in time, she still had eyes like....a puppy, round, trusting and loving, and her cheeks remained rosy and ever so...soft looking. He pinched them often, especially after she teased him about stupid stuff that did not matter ( so what if he was staring at her?! The boyfriend should be allowed to stare! He was not doing anything disrespectful! He just liked looking at her! ). Her cheeks were soft.  But how soft? Could they compare to the softness of the pads upon her fingers, the little pads so like a cat’s paws; small little things yet so potentially dangerous. Unlike his hands, rough with callouses, her hands were soft, and her cheeks perhaps even softer...? They provided more resistance to the touch, however. Not as soft as her fingers. ”Katsuki, are you even listening to me? Mou! What are you thinking of when we’re on a date?” Sulking took no points away from her appearance, though the pout did draw more attention to lips -- but his mind was already stuck on that one feature for now. He wanted to know. He had to know. Fuck if she retaliated. There was one thought in his mind and he wanted the damn answer now.  He did not wait. He offered no explanations, nor chance for her to slip away. Two fingers were all it took for him to capture her chin and tilt so that he could stare hard at those rosy cheeks. How the hell were they so pink at all times anyway? Her cheeks defied damn logic.  “What is it, Katsuki? Do I have something on my face?” The thought of him internalizing laughter at something on her face that she failed to notice through their date almost made her step back in light embarrassment ( horrified that he would allow her to portray such an unsightly image in public -- he had seen just about every side of her but she was a hero for the public’s eyes too ), lips quickly pursing as huff slipped free. She would get him back for that, but first she had to get rid of whatever that was on her face that caught his attention.  But nothing could quite prepare the brunette for the sensation of teeth upon flesh, her startled squeak escaping long before mind could make sense of his action; his ivories chomping down on her cheek without qualm. There was no mark to be left behind, merely the faintest of indentation that could hint at what that transpired. Baffled and stunned, Ochako had no other immediate reaction.  Katsuki, on the other hand, appeared completely satisfied with his abrupt action, smirk stretching widely as he appreciated his handiwork, reveling in the results he had attained. Licking his lips mischievously, he soothed the presumed sting with a press of lips, careful to ensure that the redness came only from her hot cheeks and less of his impulsive behaviour. He had a conclusion, finally. ”Mm. Mochi. Definitely mochi.” As soft and tasty as mochi.  ”W-What?” ”We’re having strawberry mochi later.” He doubted he would get away with biting her cheek again. Not right now at least.
