Scarlet Nexus, il nuovo trailer presenta i protagonisti dell’anime

La serie tratta dal nuovo action rpg di casa Bandai Namco andrà in onda da luglio.

Pubblicato un nuovo trailer di “Scarlet Nexus”, la serie animata tratta dal promettente nuovo videogioco di Bandai Namco Entertainment, attualmente  in produzione presso lo studio SUNRISE (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, Nami yo Kiitekure). 

Il video, sottotitolato in inglese, fissa il debutto della serie per il 1 luglio.

Per quanto riguarda lo staff, il progetto sta venendo diretto da Hiroyuki Nishimura (direttore d’animazione in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin), che assieme a Yuji Ito si occupa anche del character design. La sceneggiatura è invece curata da Yoichi Kato (Yokai Watch, City Hunter: Private Eyes), Toshizo Nemoto (Log Horizon, Backflip!!) e Akiko Inoue (Duel Masters, Hug tto! Precure), mentre le musiche sono composte da Hironori Anazawa. 

In un futuro lontano, la scoperta di un ormone psionico nel cervello umano permette alle persone di ottenere poteri extra-sensoriali e cambia per sempre il mondo. Proprio all'inizio di questa nuova era per l'umanità, dei mutanti impazziti noti come Estranei giungono sulla terra, affamati di cervelli umani. Di fronte alla minaccia di uno sterminio totale, il resto dell’umanità si è rinchiusa in alcune città roccaforti come New Himuka, difese da un gruppo speciale di combattenti chiamato Forza di Soppressione Estranei (FSE).

Salvato da bambino da questa squadra d'élite, lo psicocinetico Yuito si arruola, resistendo coraggiosamente al duro addestramento. La giovane Kasane, invece, è stata selezionata specificatamente per le proprie prodigiose abilità. I strani sogni che la perseguitano, però, trascineranno i due verso un destino inevitabile.

SCARLET NEXUS TV Anime 1st PV Announces July 1, 2021 Premiere

    Along with a key visual and an 80-second first PV, the official website for the upcoming TV anime based on Bandai Namco's action-RPG Scarlet Nexus announced today that it is set to premiere in Japan on TOKYO MX, BS11, and Sun TV on July 1, 2021. The Sunrise-animated series will be also simulcast on Funimation in the summer of 2021.

  The game is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on June 25, 2021. Its synopsis is introduced as below:

  "Solar calendar year 2020: grotesque organisms called Others have begun eating people. To take down this new enemy, the Other Suppression Force is formed. Saved by this elite team as a child, psychokinetic Yuito withstands the training to enlist. On the other hand, prodigy Kasane was scouted for her abilities. But Kasane’s dreams tell her strange things, dragging the two into an unavoidable fate."
