The next morning, when you wake up, the first thing you notice is the emptiness in the right side of your bed. You grab your phone to see that it's eleven in the morning, and you already got one of Caleb's classic texts half an hour ago. Your heart skips as you open it.

You let out a breathy laugh at her messages. So she's not going to talk about last night again? It only takes a small scroll upwards to see her messages from the night before and your cheeks grow exponentially hotter.

You were 14. She was 16. You'd gone with her to this party one of her friends from the varsity girls’ basketball team was having. She said you were too serious. Needed to learn to have more fun. You didn't play sports, but you went to every one of Caleb's games and eventually everyone knew you as Caleb's yes-girl and cheerleader, a title you wore with pride. You'd been saying how she never let you into her cool-girl world. So she brought you along.

Your crush was there. The lanky guy from the JV boys’ team. You were lab partners and he was relatively nice in class, nice to look at too—that was all a crush needed, you thought. When a group announced they'd be playing a frankenmesh of truth or dare and spin the bottle, you looked over longingly. Caleb took one look at you, you looked up at her, and in a split second she grabbed your hand and pulled you over with the rest of them.

“C’mon I'll go with you, if you want to do it we'll do it together.”

JV boy went first and your breath stopped when the bottle stopped at you, like a movie. You felt Caleb tense next to you. There was a short yet suspended moment between, where you wondered: would he kiss you, pick a truth or a dare?

Then he made a face. A disgusted face to be precise. But he leaned in anyway, with no time for you to process and kissed you before wiping his lips and muttering “gross”. You weren't even thinking as you got up and ran out through the back porch's screen door, tears singing in the corner of your eyes, Caleb trailing behind you.

“Mei mei, wait up!”

Your back was against the side of the house, your chest heaving up and down as tears you were trying to suck back in streamed down your face. The November air was too cool against your skin and it made you shiver.

Caleb appeared in front of you almost instantly, hands on either of your shoulders begging you to look at her.

“Hey, look at me, pipsqueak, that guy's nothing, you hear me? Boys are dumb—you can't let that get to you. He was probably trying to impress some other bitch, don't think about it too deep.”

None of that cheered you up, you started crying harder. She grabbed your face then. Two hands on either cheek forcing you to look at her. Her shoulder-length hair shaggy and brushing the tops of her shoulders.

“Close your eyes for me. Don't open until I say so, alright?”

You sniffled out a snot-nosed okay and closed them, confused at what she was trying to do. You felt the sleeves of her varsity jacket wipe your gross face, the sudden weight of it as she placed it over your shoulders. Felt her kiss on your temple. Then, like it was meant to happen, you felt her lips, soft and careful, on yours. Your heart almost stuttered its way out through your throat and your eyes flew open. As fast as it happened it was over.

“That was just so you’d know what it should feel like. Okay? You don't deserve to feel like that."

When you blinked at her, dumbfounded and a little confused, she shrugged it off.

“Don’t make it weird. I just wanted you to know. You can keep that jacket if you want. It looks better in you anyway, and it's cold, mei mei."

Then just like that, she grabbed your hand and she drove you back to her grandmother's house. Like the party never mattered anyway.

She never brought it up again, but she was gone in the morning. Texted you that she had to take care of something, came back in the early afternoon, and asked to watch a movie with you. The next day in class, your lab partner came back with two black eyes, a split lip, a refusal to tell anyone how he got them, and an inability to look you in the eyes. But you knew.

You sit up and rub the heels of your palms into your eyes and will yourself to get out of bed.

“God, I hate her.” You don't. There's clothes laid out on the end of your bed, for after your shower you guess. A pair of jean shorts and a cute blue t-shirt. Looking at it the thought almost passes before you catch it.

‘The shirt's the same shade as—’ Your face goes hot again. You look in the drawers where she said she put your laundry. It's all so neat, reorganized, and color-coded. That's what makes it obvious. The sky-blue panties from last night aren't there. You run to your bathroom and check the laundry basket, your heart rate erratic and impossibly warm in the face. Nothing. It's empty.

You think about her hands touching them, you think of her laying in bed while you struggled to muffle your moans in your late night shower. You think of her texts.

“Fuck, Caleb. What are you doing to me?” You whisper out loud. Barely loud enough to even hear yourself. You brush your teeth and splash as much cold water as you can onto your face before walking into the kitchen. It's strange without her here, telling you to eat some elaborate curated-just-for-you meal. The air conditioner and the refrigerator hum as if to replace the sound of her shuffling around in her absence.

You open the fridge and the first thing you notice is a glass Tupperware with a sticky note on top.

There's two badly drawn cats on it that make you laugh because they're obviously supposed to be the two of you.

Soy eggs!~ You don't bother warming them up but you eat them cold with chopsticks eating rice directly out of the rice cooker. ‘How does she manage to be everywhere at once?’ You wonder, but the food is so good it's hard to care.

You catch a glance at her unopened duffel on the couch. You could open it, see if… if what? If she took your underwear and put them in her duffel bag? You shake your head, and instead put her hoodie on. She left it lying on the back of the couch, and as you pull it over your head you notice that it smells good. Like her. Like her muscle balm and lavender deodorant, mixed with your body wash. You sneak an inhale, pulling it to your nose and telling yourself it's nothing.

But it smells so good…

You startle at the sound of an opening door. It's exactly 11:50, and Caleb's walking in. Shiny and strong, with bags and more bags in both of her arms.

“You're up early, pips. Trying to impress me?”

She's already zooming through the kitchen plugging items in their place, barely acting like you're even there. You clear your throat.

“Um… Thank you for cooking, the eggs were really good.”

You sound like a much smaller version of yourself than you mean to. She whips around and you get your first bagless look at her. She's glistening with sweat, sports bra and basketball shorts, her abs shiny and washboard-impressive. She's got the laziest smirk on her face. She walks over to you swiping a little pink gift bag off of the counter.

She leans in too close to you with one hand flat on the countertop and the other dangling the bag above you. She's so close you could… oh god. Even her sweat smells intoxicating and confusing.

“Of course I cooked for you, who would I be if I let you starve in a cold bed?” She coos low and saturated, still too close.

“I got you something.”

She dangles the bag just a bit too high for you to grab. You reach for it and she pulls it higher.

“Ah ah ah!~ Nope. You have to promise not to open it until the next time I go out, mmkay?”

“You're a sadist.” You mumble.

“Ah yes, a sadist who waits on you hand n foot, there are plenty of those…”

You stick your tongue out as if it's easy to be this silly with her chest and her bicep in your face.

“Ugh fine, you bossy bitch,” you retort. It comes out sharper than you meant for it to but she just grins even wider regardless.

“Woof.” She hands you the bag then.

There's a frozen moment. She's looking at you like it's a dare. You look in her violet eyes and you can't help but wonder what she's seeing. You feel like a cornered prey animal, and your eyes flick across her face. Eyes, lips, eyes again. You still can't read her expression. There's something underneath it, that you know. But what? You look away and turn to take the bag when she grabs you by the wrist and whips you around.

“Didn’t know ovulation was hitting you that hard, mei mei.”

“Keep looking at me like that and I’d think you wanted me.~”

Your jaw falls slack in… shock? Yes, shock.

“I-I'm not—”

She scoffs, her hands still gripping your wrist almost too tight.

“You definitely are, but whatever. I'll take those red cheeks as a compliment.”

“You're... intense, Caleb.” You practically whisper it.

“Tell me I'm wrong, then,” she challenges.

There's another frozen moment before you yank away your arm and shake your hand out, nervously blurting the words, “You're sweaty. You should shower.”

She bursts out laughing at that. “Not before I get my sweaty… preshower…. hugggg.”

Your face lights as she starts to open her arms, and you quickly put down the gift bag and dodge to the other side of the counter. “Gross!”

And suddenly you're kids again. She's chasing you in circles around the kitchen, long arms and grabby hands. You run almost too fast, half-tripping over your own bare feet when you barrel towards the bedroom and hop onto the bed as she chases you.

The two of you are wrestling like you did when you were kids and she'd say, "Kicking is CHEATING, mei mei!” And you would say, “Not when you're stronger, you ANIMAL!”

And here you are, giggling with a pillow between you and your feet in defence mode, as she's squealing and laughing with you. Eventually you feel yourself getting tired, a losing fight.

And just like that, with just that little bit of give, in your second of catching your breath, she's got you. Pinned under her, then wrapped tight in her arms, then spun around. You're on top of her, trapped in her iron embrace with her lying beneath you. Your face is buried in her chest. You stop laughing before she does, her giggles shaking through her, through you.

She rests her chin at the top of your head, her grip loosening a bit as you feel her inhale. You take that opportunity to get more comfortable and look at her, squirming a little to get into a better position. Her head buries into your neck.

She hums. “You smell good, pips.”

“N-no, it's probably your hoodie, I haven't showered yet, either. I didn't know when you'd be back and… I didn't want to use up the hot water.”

Her laugh sounds… pleased. “Hmm, so we're both gross. I’d almost think you wanted to shower with me, then.”

You don't have time to cover up your gasp before she's flipped you over and gotten up. She's already headed towards the door with you on the bed. Her back is towards you as she walks out, and her shorts have ridden down a bit—enough for you to see it—an unmistakable band of sky-blue lace.

She whips her head back in that sly, charming way of hers before she leaves the room.

“I’ll be quick. Don’t sweat.”

She heads into the shower, leaving you on the bed. You're flushed, aching, and unsure if you’re more or less sane than when she walked in earlier. You press your palms to your cheeks... as if it’ll cool the flush that hasn’t gone away since she walked in. You can still smell her on the hoodie you're wearing. You can still feel her… not on your skin, but underneath it, spreading herself into places you’ve tried to keep safe. But what from? How?

The moon is full.

You first notice it as you're approaching the lake, its circled orb reflected on the water's rippled surface. You let the moonlight accompany you as you arrive at the lake farthest from the base to take a much needed bath.

You're sure everyone else is asleep by now, but still, habit makes you look around in caution before taking your clothes off. Your hands are shaky as you take the wrap off your chest but when it finally falls off, you forego covering your breasts with your hands as you hurriedly run to the water.

It's warm.

You thank your lucky stars that the water's warm enough. Quickly, you scrub your body, making sure to get all the dirt because you don't know when you'll be able to sneak away to bathe again.

It's when you're untangling the tie on your hair that you notice movement in the corner of your eye. Panicking, you open your mouth to scream but the culprit promptly steps into view, hands in the air to show no harm, the moonlight shining on his face.

It's Namjoon.

Your breath stops. You debate scrambling to put on your clothes or hiding deeper in the water to hide your secret. He ends up choosing for you instead, walking towards where your clothes are before speaking softly.

"Are you finished?" he asks. "Don't worry if you aren't. Don't rush on my account."

"It's hard not to rush when someone's watching me."

He smiles, dimples showing. "Better me than them," he says, hand picking up your chest wrap.

You freeze. And you're about to come up with an excuse when he just shushes you good-naturedly.

"Don't be scared. I won't tell anyone, I promise."

"How did you find out?" you ask.

He chuckles. "When you've been training as long as I have to look for the missing princess, you have to be able to look at a situation intuitively and spot anything suspicious."

"But why are you helping me? Why are you promising to keep it a secret?"

"I don't know why any woman would pretend to be a man but I can tell you have your reasons." He shrugs, before smiling cheekily at you, adding, "And I can also tell that you're practically in love with me—"

"—and I can't have your admiration of me diminishing just because I can't keep a secret now, can I?"

What the—?

"I don't know what to say," you admit, marveling at how he hasn't changed one bit.

"You don't have to say anything. But I do have something to ask you."

You wait. After a few heartbeats, he finally asks.

"Can I join you?"

And that's how you found yourself stark naked in the middle of the lake with your fellow knight, your lips connected like you don't even need air, your hands pleasuring each other under the water.

"Are you ready for me?" he asks, his fingers toying with your clit causing you to moan.

You nod, and without further prompting, he slips inside you easily. And like you knew it would, it feels like home.

See, the thing about the royal family's ability to wipe out memories is that it comes with a side effect. If the victims end up recovering their memories, they'll be faced with an even worse fate.

background story

Y/N (16 at the time) was a half time worker at the ada but was very often at the PM (btw she didnt tell that they worked in the ada) because she was Chuuyas younger sibling (only by one year) and looked at Koyo like a older sister. she was the one that trained Gins assation skills. She was also kinda close to Dazai, and was bestfriends with Yosano. But since she was 16 she had to go somewhere to study, so she decided to study somewhere in Europe to study coding or something and got in. But while she was there she needed a job so she went around and looked for a job and she found a good paying job but ofc it was a trap that was setup by Nikolai cuz he just wanted to. But somehow she was able to become Nikolai`s student and Sigmas bestfriend. She did finish studying and all that before becoming a DOA member. Years later (21 years old now) went back to Yokoami because Fyvodor was able to get arested. She finally got to catch up with everyone both from the pm and ada (but left out that she joined the DOA) Even though she was with everyone she was alot with Dazai, so Yosano and some other ADA memebers gets curios over this and the do some thing random you decide.

idk if you remember but for a cursed sunday a while ago (i think it was your blog, not sure cause tumblr's search function is horrible) i sent an ask about drarry smut with magic acid that they drank and all that, and then today i also i sent one about spencer reid from cm...and-and dogs...

anyways! im here with more horribleness because im bored and the weight of the sins i have witnessed are too great for me to bear on the own (disclaimer: i do not condone any of the stuff ive talked about, and i do not wish to shame any fan writers bc just cause someone writes fucked up shit doesnt mean they personally think its ok and sending hate to someone you dont know is bad.)

teensie weensie 12 year old me was confused about my gender and looking for genderbent!harry potter fanfic to read. i stumble across a fic that says 'harry grows feline parts' in the summary, assuming the author made a typo and it was supposed to say feminine and click on it

NOPE!! he actually just grows cat ears and a cat tail. since i'm incapable of quitting stories, i read on even though i didn't particularly want to and my gut was giving me a bad feeling (i shouldn't listened)

harry is still at the dursleys, and the abuse is even more than in canon but nobody knows. snape is sent to fetch him and grumbles about it for a bit but then gets there and sees harry literally seconds away from death on the floor. he grabs him and goes to the headquarters where everyone is waiting. he gets healed, they give him some water but then tie him down to a chair and start questioning him about what happened at his house. he refuses, but then feels himself telling them anyway against his will, bc, plot twist, they fucking spiked his drink with truth serum without telling him.

so after they're done doing what is basically the magical equivalent of roofying and forcing him to give details about his bad home life he was not at all okay with talking about yet, he grows /another/ cat tail right next to the first. this is not explained outside of a couple lines about how its a genetic thing on his mom's side (btw, i dont remember it all perfectly, so plz cut my some slack)

insert 12 yo me's eyes bulging out of their head and quickly scrolling up to re-check the tags and being horrified that i somehow missed the snape/harry tag on it. what prompted this? oh, just a small little scene (/s) where snape basically jacks harry (who is still a minor /and/ one of his students) off but with one of the cat tails instead of his penis because?? because??

anyways, harry is (understandably) upset at everyone for the whole tying-him-down-drugging-him-and-forcing-him-to-reveal-information-he-was-not-ready-to-reveal situation so he decides to dip, change his appearance, and go into hiding under a different identity while staying at some hotel or smth.

there's a random subplot where he gets with draco, but as his secret identity whos is like,,,scottish i think and red head instead of himself and draco doesn't know?? however, when they're in bed right after finishing, the order (who have been trying for months to find him) burst through the door and catch him, then reveal his true identity. draco kinda just shrugs and says he would still be up for a second time because, rivals or not, harry was good in bed. harry has the exact same though process about draco and agrees, before draco leaves and doesn't come back into the plot ever again. (this is all happening in front of all of the other characters, who are pissed at harry for?? idek?? running away from them???)

so, they get mad at harry for a bit, there's some arguing, and then snape tells everyone to leave the room. he then proceeds to spank harry, bare skin on skin, as punishment and to get him to come back and join the order. i think someone cums, but i don't know for sure and idk who it was.

they finish up, exit the room, tell everyone harry isn't going to act out anymore, and thats the end. thats it. no explanation of the cat features, no reprimanding of /any/ of the characters' actions, no follow up on harry's emotions and thoughts on this, nope. nothing. the saddest part was prob that he was geniunely just,,,happier as his secret identity and doing nothing and enjoying the small things for months before the order made him come back.

btw, this was a oneshot and like 8k words i think??? i remember finishing and feeling unsatisfied cause i had to read all that and not even get a proper resolution. anyways, hope this was cursed enough for you. people either paint him like an absolute devil or an incompetent idiot and hes neither of them! hes an asshole who loves being an asshole but far from the worst monster in the show and he tried to do a clever scheme TWICE on his life and 1. while it was established that any of the rituals wouldnt work singularly the Silence was still a pretty clever attempt if it weren't for gertrude! and 2. well... he tried to manipulate someone petty and formerly supposed to be a web avatar, again not his fault, cant call him stupid for trying dfgdfg

listen, listen, i know it sounds like im woobifying her i Know it but reading the scraps of her story how can i Not feel sorry for her? when the story framed her very similar to jon? the supernatural childhood encounter that gave them arachnophobia and the subsequential joining with an Entity against her will? the fact that both the story and the fans treat her like a spider woman always sat very very bad to me, and the fact that the story itself always framed her like a villain (considering All The Other Characters that get the benefit of the doubt) was extremely disappointing

I feel like there's been a few moments throughout this story where I would've left for a night/couple days. I'm the type of person that needs space, so whenever MC stays in that environment I feel like a step of the healing process has been skipped. But that's just me. I like to hide away and lick my wounds. And now, as hot as evil Joon is, he has utterly betrayed her (fragile, tentative) trust. And idek how Jimin & Yoongi will be. I would def be calling Sam up. I'd feel so used & embarrassed.

I think I’m quite guilty of putting a lot of myself into the reader in that respect - if ever I have an argument or get upset I desperately want to be around people and talk/cuddle it out until it’s all sorted!  I think Sam will most definitely be helping to deal with some of the fallout.

my absolute favourites area always long ass fics that could rival novels bc if its really good i always want MORE of it. that being said, more OFTEN id read shorter fics bc of my short attention span and also because im very picky with the content i read and short fics are far more common.

generally, i am not a fan of first person at all. i guess it just feels like im looking in on someone else's brain and kind of.. intruding. idk, its weird, i just feel like im not meant to be there. third person at least feels like im watching closely from a distance but im not IN their head. ill be honest though, most fic i read is x reader, so my preference is 2nd person so i can put myself in the shoes of the main character and feel more apart of the story. you'll notice all my writings are in 2nd person for this reason.

ok this one's a trick question bc id argue that a well-crafted reader insert fic can be considered an oc. its just an original character made for people to project onto, but they still have their own personality and character and some level of depth - if they dont, they're probably really boring and i wouldnt enjoy reading it as much. i get people write plain readers so everyone can insert themselves, but instead i just find myself more alienated from them when they do that. even if the reader is nothing like me at all - which is often the case, because if you know me at all youd know that im... well. "quite the character", to put it lightly. LMAO. but like, some of my favourite fics of all time cast a reader thats nothing like me, but are so well written i can either relate or closely empathize with them enough to be invested in the story. does this make sense?

canon shmanon, au, whatever, ill read it if its written well and interests me.

i tend to prefer more romantic stuff but thats mostly bc theres not much platonic fic out there. id be totally down to read platonic found family stuff if im in the mood for it.

fluff, angst, smut, all of the above babey. the best fics (imo) have a good balance of all 3!

ive already rambled about how much i love enemies/rivals to lovers as a trope, so ill use this one to talk about how much i love a well done secret identity/double life plot. basically, i just really like miraculous ladybug. LOL. also a sucker for the "equally chaotic" type ship dynamic when its just who dumbasses constantly trying to out-dumbass each other and should never be allowed in the same room together because chaos Will ensue. lovers who bring out the Stupid in each other, to put it simply.

RP Methods I am comfortable doing:

im: Not for rp really. It makes it hard to follow and just complicated. Use it for ooc messages, plotting or chatting. Not for rp. Please.

Asks: I tend to lose asks in tumblr so I don’t trust it much. If I reply to a question and you wanna make it a thread, do it in a different post.

Other messaging systems: I’m ok with using skype or even discord for an rp, but I prefer tumblr bc formatting is nice.

Google Docs: Yup, yup, I’m ok with this specially is its kinda longish.

OOC/Headcanoning/RP Planning Methods

im: Yes this is perfect for that, I’m always willing to engage in plotting, even though i’m not the most creative person when it comes to plots or hc.

Asks: I tend to lose my outbox and sometimes asks gets eaten by tumblr so i don’t trust it much, but you can ask me stuff through here if you prefer it..

Skype: I’m mostly in skype so if you have me just send me a message and I’ll get to it asap.

RP Speed

I usually reply:

Within hours: If its super short and I’m online and mega hyped. Not very common. Do not expect this to happen. Though it might happen and then you’ll be surprised.

Within the same week: If we have a constant thread going on I’ll try to reply in a few days.

Sporadic: The most usual one and it can be from months ago. I just reply to stuff I find and that I have the interest/muse to reply so this might be the most common. Unless we have a pretty constant exchange or I’m in vacations and rping my soul away.

Whenever: I don’t really mind waiting or having immediate replies since I can be a bit of both. I’m always glad to see replies, not even if its been months of minutes since the last one, so just do it at your own pace and I’ll do the same!

With chemistry: I’m not super picky about shipping matters, but its more enjoyable when there’s chemisty is it not? So I will always put this first. If a couple doesn’t have it, then I might suggest another of my characters that might work better for the situation. You are also welcome to do the same.

Pre-estab: If its all properly sorted in ooc then I’m more than ok with this.

Unhealthy ships: Yes, since its interesting and I love the drama. However, it must be throughly planned and have some sort of story that will developed. Just keeping a toxic relationship for the sake of it isn’t an interest of mine.
