i really do enjoy this art and the confirmation of, like, what part of atsushi’s outfit everyone got him because when you look at it all it’s like, oh, of course that’s who choose that

of course kunikida got him just, like, a nice sensible dress shirt, and fukuzawa got him pants. like, those are two very reasonable parts of his outfit. that makes sense

the tanizakis definitely got him those boots in like a “one boot from each of us ^_^” kind of way

yosano got his tie, which makes sense because he looks exactly like her’s. she’s also the one who got the pin presumably. so she’s the one who assigned him bisexual

dazai with his belt. you know dazai was chattering the whole time about all the ways you could kill yourself with that thing

ranpo’s choice is a little more surprising (honestly if i had to imagine ranpo giving someone an accessory i figure it’d be, like, a hat) except for the fact he’s wearing them in this picture. which almost implies to me that, he like... already had these gloves. and got told he needed to give the new recruit something and just threw in the first thing he already had that he never wears
