After the Beth and Jerry of this universe died in a car crash, the Rick decided to do the responsibility thing and raise his grandkids. He is surprisingly trying his best at it. And his Morty loves him a whole lot. (And depending on if I want this to be shippy, then maybe Morty loves him a bit too much. Haven't decided yet though.) That's right, a responsible Rick.
