What Is This Feeling? [Gill & Joe]

‘To my father, 

I regret to inform you that this dorm situation is not at all like we had hoped... or at least how I had hoped, since you have been disturbingly neutral about this since my enrollment. From here, I shall list my grievances:

1. The security is dreadful. I have already been assaulted with foam firearm paraphernalia. Twice.

2. Students have no respect for academics or study time and make too much noise.

3. My roommate...’

“My roommate...” Gill pondered aloud with his pen tapping his chin. He had many things to say about his roommate. Joe did not shoot him with foam bullets like a particular other student, but no student was immune from Gill’s criticism. To start, Gill despised the concept of his ‘fishing club,’ fishing was such a wasteful hobby to him, and anyone who thought it to be fun to just sit outside doing nothing was considered just about out of their minds. Not only that, but Joe had absolutely no respect for his nighttime studying. Every night it was the same: ‘turn the light off,’ ‘I’m trying to sleep,’ ‘it’s 5:30 in the morning, why aren’t you sleeping.’ Absolutely appalling. 

Gill glared at Joe from the opposite end of the room, trying to figure out what exactly to put into words about him. He decided to gather some ‘inspiration’ from the source himself.

“Excuse me, Joe?” Gill cleared his throat to grab his roommate’s attention. “Why is it that you dislike me studying at night so much? Clearly it’s not due to competition, or you’d be studying as well.” He erased some extra words on his letter as he spoke with a mutter. “Slacker.”

I'm heading on vacation tomorrow and I'm not sure how often I'm going to be able to get to the computer, so can Joe have a semi? It's 7/10

•｡ ☁ Baseball practice was around the corner, and once again, Kurt had conveniently forgotten to wear his gear that was required by all the players involved. The coach, bless his heart, had always given him the benefit of the doubt and let him off easy instead of suspending him since -- in all reality -- he was a valuable participant in the game when he actually set forth his mind to it. Therefore, as always it seemed like at this point, the young boy kicked back in on the bleachers and unwinded his heap of earbud cords to slip into the ear. He listened to his music contentedly, propping his feet up on the level below him as he watched the gigantic mouth of his coach move rapidly -- shouting out commands and spitting out potential strategies, most likely. What was the big deal? It was just a game, after all. Hell, this was merely practice.

His chocolate brown eyes had flickered from the ongoing game towards the empty space of field beside them -- shifting from the grass rustling in the breeze to the forestry that was situated nearby the field, holding contact with a group of vivacious butterflies dancing with one another. He laughed, cracking half a smile until the rumbling of someone sitting below him stirred his attention. Much to his surprise, it was his older brother of one year who was not out there. Interesting. “... three strikes, and you’re out?” Kurt asked with a hint of sarcasm lacing his curious inflection, wondering what had happened when his focus had been elsewhere.

Had a dream last night where I was this lady's bodyguard and then was poisoned and died so I started possessing the armor she wore to protect her still. Very psychosexual, enjoyed it.

Day was GREAT 🔨🔨🔨

Speech was awesome, talked with mayor Ron for like 3 min, great news is after his term is over he's aiming for senator and then hopefully president, this is the guy that fights for DEI and women's rights in Texas and actually gets stuff done. Excop govt professor I Loathed was fired 🎉 and everyone is gossiping about him. Apparently he bitched about me on a podcast. Met with some current Dem senators and reps. LA trip for the conference in Spring confirmed 🍆 got approved for my CA license!! My mom went to the farmers market and everyone was asking about me and she brought back a list of questions that I have to answer and send out to my people ❤️ slummed it with my favorite professor. Came home and took my niece, nephew, and a friend on a hike in Jackson. This girl I had written off on tinder texted back ✌️ Cheryl at the museum called and wants me to direct a summer program. Officially dropped out of Ochem and technically college. Gonna return for an english degree. Selena was on the radio today. There's more but I literally can't remember it right now. It's been so wild. I'm tired and happy.

One of my moms has a CAT that likes to rough house with me, which I readily obliged to in the beginning, but now she's starting to set traps using bait to get me down to biteable level and it's honestly impressive and very scary to me.
