of course!!! 🥰💕 i answered a little bit about it here, but this is one of the tag stories i really, REALLY want to actually become a fic so i did promise a little snippet of the 2K that is done:

Things that Dylan should do: turn off the light, shut the door, walk back inside to the rumpled sheets still warm from when he left them to grab a glass of water. Leave the creature outside to the lightning bugs and the quarter moon and the shifting shadows of the woods along the gap-toothed fenceline of his yard, and then come out in the morning to nothing more than a paw print and the clean reassurance of sunlight to tell him nobody’s there, to ignore the prickle of discomfort that shivers its way across his body as goosebumps and raised hairs when he thinks about turning his back on the memory of those red eyes.

Things that Dylan does instead: whistle.

MattDrai: Watch and See - threesome matt/drai/connor but Leon & Connor aren't emotionally involved - and Neither, did Matthew think, were he and Leon.

McEichel: gold rush - I am seriously weak for Rule 63 stuff, and this is just. The best. So fucking good. Both of them thinking that the other is too gorgeous for words (and they're both right).

1634 - The Thief That Delays - just. So stupid. Love me a set of just absolute fuckin idiots and this is such a good fic.

jackty: coming up roses, kicking up snow - deeply love me a super dramatic hanahaki au, and by god this is such a good one.

Not the entire fandom abandoning the Jackty ship and going all in with Nico/Jack. Y'all really drop my boy Ty like Jack did, after he was holding it down at home doing everything for Jack like explaining boiling brocculi in a patient way huh? 😤.

Poor Ty dropped by Jack, the fandom, the Devils. Smh...

joking joking. youre right! we have looked the other way! in a domestic sense, jackty still compels! but jack is outgrowing this comfortable dynamic. he can make his own broccoli now!! the tasty part of this is that, while he has set his sights on nico and is getting some level of attention from nico, he’s not grown enough to wheel the captain just yet. you could say that hes currently stuck between a rock and a hard place here. so will ty cave to jack and let him slink into ty’s bed when he’s been gently turned down by nico again? will jack recommit to ty after too many rejections? will nico start to overlook the maturity gap out of jealousy? who knows! lets read on :))

NicoGravy, NicoNolan, or NicoJack? 👀. Pick one.

Et Tu?? You want me to choose!!??? Okay let’s lay down some things first!!

1) NicoNolan- the two princes of the 2017 draft. Although Nolan has become much greasier now and I love that for him, Nico has substantially less grease so to my point, draft NicoNolan yes but no for modern times

2) NicoJack- Nico and his rookie! Young boys who just wanna have fun! But the concept of JackTy is its own narrative in itself. So NicoJack? Yes but only in specific circumstances

3) NicoGravy- now this! Two Victorian looking boys, not much of a narrative but we can make one up! Something something Gravy helping Nico handle all the stress about being a young captain. Something something Nico helping Gravy handle the trade from the Avs to the Devils

So excuse my long winded answer but…all three are great but NicoGravy win for me 😊

Do you have any fic recs for fics that explore gender identity, especially genderqueer/non-binary identity? Fics that discuss trans identity are welcome too, but I think I may have already read many of the fics you would recommend for that 😅

this jack/nico fic by overturnedgoal is v soft and has jack exploring gender a bit in the background and is one of my favorites ever tbh

there's also this jackty fic by softanimal

this nico/nolan is so good

i also really enjoy this trans brock series

this tk/np fic is just....yes

this explores transness in the omegaverse, and even if you're not the biggest omegaverse person I do think it's worth the read

and then the ones below here either don't explore gender at all and is just trans ppl getting to be happy and live their lives or the exploration is more a minor part of it (or i can't remember how much it actually explores gender) or its some of my favorite fic with trans or nonbinary characters
