Sangheili Bracket Round 1 Match 27
More info below:
Jacul 'Arach:
Debuted in Halo 5: Guardians (Mission Intel)
Part of the Swords of Sanghelios, he sent messages in Oct 2558 urging his Covenant-loyal brother Kitun to switch sides, whilst rejecting his brother's counter-offers for Jacul to join the Covenant. Later, they would reunite face-to-face at the Battle of Sunaion, where he would be killed by his brother, who would then die a little later due to a fatal wound Jacul dealt him.
Olabisi 'Varo'dai:
Debuted in Halo: Outcasts (previously mentioned in Halo: Divine Wind)
Born on the colony Saepon'kal / Joyous Exultation, she was the daughter of a matriarch who led a subordinate keep to the Moul clan. When the Moul clan's kaidon abdicated during the Human-Covenant war, his son Azl 'Lamoul was anticipated to take his place. During his tour of all the nearby keeps, he and Olabisi met and fell in love. Yet the elders of Azl's clan intended him to marry the then-Marshal of Varo's niece, with his decision to reject her causing his entire bloodline to be killed and a Varo heir elected to take over the clan. Olabisi was made this heir's figurehead matriarch, although she would secretly train her own Sangheili Rangers to protect her and kill all those who betrayed her now runaway lover. When the original Marshal died in the Battle of Actium, she took over as the first female Marshal of Varo. She would continue to do so until Oct 2552, when the entire planet was made uninhabitable due to being caught up in the utter destruction of Imperial Admiral Xytan 'Jar Wattinree's fleet due to an accidental NOVA bomb detonation. She would get assistance for the survivors, one of those aiding being the Arbiter Thel 'Vadam, who arranged a plan to have the survivors colonize an uninhabited planet elsewhere - this planet becoming Om'a'Varo, potentially in honor of Olabisi, who became the high kaidon of all three keeps on the new colony. Feeling eternally grateful towards the Arbiter, she would continue to aid him alongside her rangers during the Blooding Years.
Towards the end of the Created Conflict in late 2559, Olabisi would join the Arbiter on a mission to Netherop / N'ba to recover a weapon that could potentially end Cortana's tyranny over the galaxy. She began destroying the orbital mine around N'ba in anticipation of the Arbiter's arrival; once he did arrive, she met with him alongside Ghe 'Talot, who had also been assisting by mapping the planet's topography. She and Ghe would have some tension between them due to differing views, but the Arbiter helped them cooperate through his orders. Later, she would be amongst those joining the Arbiter on the planet's surface, where her superior eyesight and rangers came in handy on the mission. Once humans became involved in the chase for the weapon. Olabisi was amongst those suspicious of them, but continued to try and work with them out of respect for the Arbiter. Later, during the first confrontation with the stranded Nizat 'Kvarosee and his "Defenders of the Sanctum", she would speak up in angry defense for the Arbiter, which ultimately contributed in the conversation devolving into combat. Once the weapon was secured, she was the one who first came up with the idea for both species to own it together, by splitting the necessary components between them. Then, she lashed out against Tam 'Lakosee and Nizat, for the former's actions in destroying the entire Sangheili fleet above N'ba. She would ultimately spare their lives, but not without a final taunt towards their gods being fake. Following a confrontation with Atriox where the weapon was handed over, she would join the survivors in escaping N'ba before Cortana's forces could arrive to catch them.

Jacul v Olabisi
Jacul was minding his business at his station - present in the event that a crisis struck, but relaxed in the knowledge that the areas so deep in Swords of Sanghelios territory usually saw no dire action. Still, he kept himself alert, in the event that someone coming by decided to scold him.
As he stood as a pseudo-guard, his eyes latched on to a new and approaching figure. Unique to most others Jacul would expect to see, this person was female. Behind her, a few other women with more standard armor in comparison to her striking set marched behind her. He at first thought to compare them to personal guards, then realized that was exactly what they were. A warrior female entourage. And they were headed for the command center, where the Arbiter was currently present.
That was not his station, though, so Jacul stayed where he was. If they were intruding, then the guards over there would intercept them. But seeing as Jacul noticed no commotion, it was a good bet that these women were expected visitors.
A little bit later, when he had time to socialize with his fellows, Jacul would hear the name of these visitors - High Kaidon Olabisi 'Varo'dai and her Varo Rangers. Even before now, he had heard whispers regarding them, so suddenly everything clicked into place and he wondered why he never thought of it before. The High Kaidon of Om'a'Varo was infamous - as any distinguished warrior female leader would be, in a culture where for millennium men dominated the battlefield and leadership. She also had ties to the Arbiter, due to him helping her people from their former, now-inhospitable world found a new colony.
While it was curious as to why she was visiting then, it was easy to come to a logical conclusion. Those that the Arbiter aided usually had a strong loyalty towards him, offering support in any way they could. The Varo Rangers had made a name for themselves, so it was likely their services would be intertwining with the Swords of Sanghelios soon. They would not be the first female service members, as the Arbiter made the bold declaration to challenge old traditions he claimed were holding the Sangheili back.
Perhaps I should pay close attention to them. With my brother retreating into a bubble of close-minded fools, he'll need to hear a few stories of our progress. They might just give him something to think about.

Sangheili Bracket Round 1 Tiebreaker 2
More info below:
Kitun 'Arach:
Debuted in Halo 5: Guardians
Part of Jul 'Mdama’s Covenant, he would be present in the Battle of Kamchatka, leading a lance fighting back against Promethean forces. He would form a temporary alliance with Fireteam Osiris against the Prometheans, before they left him to continue on their mission to kill Jul 'Mdama. Following the Covenant leader’s death, Kitun would look to figures like the late Imperial Admiral Xytan 'Jar Wattineree for inspiration on the Covenant’s new direction. He also became disinterested in continuing the war against humanity, largely due to the costs. Later, he would be one of prominent commanders during the assault on Vadam and the Battle of Sunaion. Between these battles, he would receive a message from his brother Jacul to join the Swords of Sanghelios, but he instead would request his brother switch sides to the Covenant. The two brothers would then meet in battle at Sunaion, with Jacul dying and Kitun being mortally wounded with only enough time to leave a final message regarding their fight.
Additional commentary: Yeah, unlike other Mission Intel figures, you actually meet this guy in the flesh. Canonically, he’s the Covenant Sangheili you make a temporary alliance for the achievement Enemy of my Enemy, with that achievement being canon since he then goes on to do all that stuff on Sanghelios you learn through Mission Intel.
Asum 'Mdama / Bakar:
Debuted in Halo: Glasslands
Born Jan. 20th, 2542 as the second son of Jul and Raia 'Mdama and the younger brother of Dural. He was trained in combat by Naxan - the great-uncle of Raia. When he learned of his mother’s death in March 2553, he went to nearby fields to mourn. Then, he began to be fostered by Kasha 'Hilot as he assumed the new name of Bakar. She would take him to Onyx - her new place of work - and he would attend the Pax Institute while there.
It was around September 2558 that Molly Patel would transfer to his school, leading to her, Kareem El-Hashem, and Unggoy Gudam Keschun to come across him being bullied by three human peers. He would at first avoid trying to defend himself, until one of the bullies hits Gudam hard enough to draw blood. However, just as a full-on fight ensues, an instructor named Dinok 'Acroli breaks it up. The next day, Molly would be forced to sit at the same table as Bakar, giving him the opportunity to chastise her for making him look weak, until the other two arrive. Their attempts to become friends with him causes him to leave. Later, he would be stuck in the same self defense lesson being taught by Spartans Tom-B292 and Lucy-B091 with the same trio. During a field trip to the Repository, Bakar would open up to the trio a little and bond with them. Then, things took a turn when a beast called a rafakrit attacked. Kasha would go to distract the beast to save everyone else, only to get injured in the process, leading Bakar and his new friends to launch a risky plan to save her. After this, the Spartans and Director Mendez talk with them, which would then lead them to sharing with Bakar the identity of his father: Jul 'Mdama (due to Sangheili customs, he did not know this before). Even after learning the Covenant remnant leader was his father, Bakar would continue to feel hatred toward him. Also during this conversation, they would warn him that his brother had joined up with the Servants of Abiding Truth and had possibly infiltrated Onyx. However, much later, Cortana’s message would be sent to all of the galaxy and Onyx’s Guardian would awaken. Bakar was at school be it occurred, forcing him to join those hiding in the cafeteria. When Prone to Drift arrives, he and his friends concoct a plan to have Drift reach the Guardian and disrupt its communication with Cortana. Then, the Servants of the Abiding Truth attack the school, killing some people and taking Drift away to the Repository. Bakar and friends would pursue, using some creatures also chasing the Servants in their plan to stop them. After catching up, Bakar would confront his brother and beg him to stop, while Dural felt he had been dishonored and should kill himself. In order to keep the attacking creatures from hurting Bakar, Dural chose to whistle a distraction and sacrifice himself, being carried away. Another creature would remain, but Lucy would arrive and take care of it, getting injured in the process. The kids would take her and Prone to Drift away in the Pelican Lucy brought, then fly close enough to the Guardian so Drift could disable it. Now, Bakar is amongst those living in hiding from Cortana due to Onyx’s slipspace bubble being reactivated.
