starter for @jaigcaptain
𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆, 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐄 ── that is Darth Vader. In a sea of attentive stormtroopers clad in white armor, the Sith Lord stands against them like a monolith stands against an ocean. He will not be deterred and a path clears for his arrival without question. His cape billows in the wind behind him like an ominous dark cloud, buffeting his already hulking body. Even behind their expressionless helmets it is clear that there is a sense of curiosity emanating from each soldier ( who exactly was this man that they had just captured that would warrant a personal visit to some backwoods planet from Darth Vader himself? ). But not a word was spoken as the Sith Lord stops in front of the two commander Stormtroopers who had their blasters pointed at a man kneeling on the ground.
A face that he had seen time and time again during the time before the Empire; a face that had once been branded to the Galactic Republic as defenders of democracy ── the face of a clone. And not just any clone... no... this very particular clone had once been an ally from a life he had barely remember and could hardly call his own anymore. Captain Rex of the Galactic Republic Army, 501st Legion. Captain to General Anakin Skywalker.
“It seems you do not lack imagination. Not many would have made it this far into Imperial territory before being captured.”

Fun for @jaigcaptain
Through the weight of her boots, Ahsoka couldn’t help watching in mild fascination her feet sink into the snow that surrounded the area. Orto Plutonia is a frigid planet, full of nothing but ice and snow. The only reason she was out here, was for the peace-talks between Senator Chuchi and the Talz chief. While nothing too dangerous should stir, one couldn’t be too careful...
That said, the padawan found herself gathering some of the snow in her gloved hands. She formed an easy ball, inwardly grinning before letting herself ease into the force.
It flew, straight and true--colliding with the helmet of one Captain. Quickly tucking her hands into her coat, her eyes went wide as he turned and she glanced around. ❝ Woah! Where’d that come from? ❞

“ so are we both the fool? ” the padawan pauses, her expression laced with some kind of sorrow not usually seen amongst the jedi. the loss she had recently felt had been digging into her with such sharp claws. “ we’re both fighting the same war. ”

Although there was a fire blazing in the great stone hearth located to one side of the room, the male behind the desk emanated COLD. Every shred of light that fell across his being seemed to sputter and balk, consumed shortly after by the shadowy darkness lurking behind his straight shoulders. The male himself held no true power as of yet. Only within the quaint manor house and surrounding swath of land was his word law. That would be changing soon, he had decided. Discontent with following the rules set by others. He wanted the world around them to bend and break at his will, even if he had to bathe the entire continent in blood to achieve his goal. Already had he practiced, albeit on a much smaller scale, to get where he was now. Notorious for his dark, CHARMING ways and not for the secrets kept hidden within the walls and beneath the floors. A house built of bones. At night he listened to the screams trapped beneath the plaster and s m i l e d.
Accessing the male before him with a glacial gaze, Alexei pondered how he might use the visit to his advantage. Or if he would grow truly bored and add another skeleton to his ever growing collection. “Why have you come, BOY, what is it that want?”

❝ i have to do this alone . ❞
half a dozen blasters were trained on his sauntering procession, charged and ready to burn a hundred holes through him at the faintest drop of danger. the ghost didn't heed them nor did he blame them. he was certain many of them were i n t i m a t e l y familiar with his work. these clones had probably seen a holo or two, gifts the saboteur left behind so there was no question as to who murdered their brothers.
but how many of them watched the whole thing? the static loop of the ghost maneuvering through the outcrops of the battlefield to meet the trooper his brothers trusted to protect the back of their formation. sometimes the unfortunate clone stood a chance, but the inevitable always won in the end.
the ghost would pin the soldier to the ground before rending his armor asunder in a wild spray of red. his beskar blade would sink in like a fang, ripping and tearing like a beast at play. as the trooper gasped with lungs thick with blood, the ghost would seize the man's helmet and expose the familiar face beneath.
as the soldier's final moments drained from the corners of his mouth, the ghost hold up him so that his droid's holorecorder captured every
last
drop.
the ghost didn't expect trust nor should the clones expect loyalty, but they could trust that he was loyal to his grudges. and right now, he wanted the bulbous-eyed bastard who left him to rot at the mercy of these clones. the same fool who was now entertaining the infamous general skywalker and the little togruta as unwilling guests.
❝ captain, ❞ the voice that raked through the vocoder was thin and reedy, withered by years of disuse. the ghost held up his restraints, his offer made clear. if the head clone was hesitant to risk the lives of his brothers in what was no doubt a suicide run, then perhaps he'd find an easier alliance with a life he wouldn't think twice about losing.
❝ the neimoidian, ❞ the phantom hissed, ❝ is mine. ❞

@jaigcaptain :☀ [your rouge or OT verse?] / ☀ - pin my muse with their arms behind their back
Clenched jaws tightened as a powerful force seized him. Humiliation surged through his veins, causing his face to reddened. Clean cheeks made contact with the dirt-caked walls before his body followed closely behind. Immaculate, white uniform crinkled as creases folded against one another.
( Acrid scent of spice filled his lungs amidst the smog, tears streaked down his cheeks. ‘Stop’, Orson had cried then )
His triggering hand remained locked behind his back, by someone far more powerful than he. Try as he may, his own strength faltered in comparison. “ Unhand me! “ snarled he. “ Don’t you know who I am? “ ( A child from the gutters? )

@jaigcaptain said: " there is always a price. "
his words held truth --------- no matter the action, no matter the decision, there was always a cost. she’d learned that from an early age, watching as the disconnect between her and her sister, satine, had grown. she’d watched that disconnect turn into a chasm that would never be mended. that decision of breaking her contact with her sister, joining forces against her ... it had led to an outcome that bo-katan knew had to occur, but it hadn’t meant she’d prepared herself for the outcome. she hadn’t been prepared for the feeling of guilt. the feeling of blame she’d placed onto herself, afraid to ever come to terms with her actions. the death of her sister, of maul rising to the mandalorian throne, it was something that constantly plagued her thoughts. it made her hardened, become an even colder version of herself than she was before. but for the first time in a while, it felt as if she had hope for the future of her people.
“ i know. ” her words were simple, head turning to look at rex. she’d been unsure of whether to trust him, of whether to trust any of the clones, but her trust in them would grant her what she’d been reaching for during the greater part of her adult life. with her helmet held against her side, a sigh escaped her lips. “ believe me, i know all about the price of my decisions. ” there was a hint of a melancholic smile tugging at the corner of her lips before she looked away and attempted to focus her mind on something else. it wasn’t good to think about her sister --------- not at a time like this.
“ for what it’s worth, no matter the price, i’m grateful for your help. ” she wasn’t sure what the future would hold, what the battle would be like, but preparing for it and standing around with ahsoka, with the rest of the clones, she was confident in their abilities. bo-katan had never been a trusting soul. she’d been one to turn her head, to only worry about herself and her clan. but finding help within the people she’d thought her enemies was enough to at least make herself push that aside. for now. “ i owe you a great debt. both you and ahsoka. ” she’d never imagined herself here, preparing herself for a battle of this scale, but she had known that a fight for her home world was inevitable.

fire emblem : three houses ( accepting ) / @jaigcaptain : " you expect me to believe that ? "
“ . . . yes ? “ the word falls past dark lips without CONVICTION , and it is all it takes to give her away . arms are planted firmly across her chest , her mouth forming a tight line as ahsoka attempts to defend herself . “ –––– okay , so MAYBE cody got a few good hits in , but i almost had him ! “ azure hues are still bright with the flames of adrenaline from her recent SPAR with the commander . as she shifts to place a hand on her hip , ahsoka WINCES , surprised by the still tender bruise that she finds there .
“ i’ll get him next time , though –––– master skywalker was right when he said that i rely too much on my LIGHTSABER in battle . i need to keep practicing without it . “

“ so you’re catching on? ” chin rises high and tara lets a smirk shine through her expression. the both of them went far back into the clone wars, fighting along side each other at one point. but now they both stand on the other side of the empires eruption. how had he felt seeing her here after taking up a place under vaders wing? was she still registered as a jedi in his eyes? an enemy? a sigh falls from twisted lips and tara moves to clasp her palms behind her back. they were all enemies in the end.
“ i warn you - it becomes a very lonely life. lord vader himself can’t be trusted, either. ” she remembers - the scar tracing her back from trusting him. but he was still in charge, and she owed him clarity through the pain.

@jaigcaptain said: rex picks up bby luke and puts him on his shoulders.
𝐋𝐔𝐊𝐄 𝐈𝐒𝐍’𝐓 𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 child ── it doesn’t take much to make him happy and it didn’t take much to make him laugh. Of course his father was always a sure way to make it happen quickly; Anakin Skywalker had an affect on Luke that many couldn’t quite understand. It was an affect that went far beyond the normal father-son relationship. It was something deeper and stronger than that. Perhaps it was some connection through the Force that neither of them really understood but both of them could feel. It was just... instantaneous.
So it really was curious how Captain Rex had such an affect on little Luke Skywalker as well. Just as Anakin could, Rex was able to make the young blonde smile and laugh easily. A temper tantrum did not last long when the clone captain was nearby. It was often times the case that Rex could find a young Luke actually running right into his leg hoping to be lifted up on to his shoulders. As he was hoisted upwards and settled securely, a warmth surrounded the two like an electric hum; the Force. The energy that connected all living things was alive and humming around them because Rex had that kind of affect on the younger and Luke would have it no other way.

there’s a slight hesitation in her movements, padmé rather wary of the arrival of rex. it never truly brought about news that she was ever delighted to hear, only further disappointment that something would keep him away or the idea that somehow her life was once again in danger, those around her forgetting that she was able to keep herself alive. ❛ please tell me this is a social visit, commander. ❜ enemies upon enemies, padmé constantly making waves in the senate as the woman who couldn’t take no for an answer, the woman who spoke up and spoke loudly. ❛ or, i would much rather this be about another threat upon my life due to someone uneasy with how outspoken i allow myself to be. at least then i would have a reason not to be entirely angry. ❜
