Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu to you and your family. Wishing you a joyous Eid! May Allah ﷻ make this jubilation a blessing for all of us. May Allah ﷻ accept all of our prayers, fasting and good deeds. May Allahﷻ's blessings and mercy be upon every family and home. May Allah ﷻ have mercy upon us and give us all patience, peace and strong faith! May Allahﷻ protect us from the Hellfire and grant us to be inhabitants of the higher stages of Paradise. Allahumma ameen! May Allah ﷻ forgive me and you for our sins & may He ﷻ grant us a never-ending abundance of blessings on this blessed day. However, test after test we've have failed, but his infinite mercy still remains. Allah-hu-akbar! Indeed, we've sinned so much, we've wronged ourselves so much, we've violated our souls by committing sins. Despite that, our sins shall never become greater than the mercy of Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahim, and for Him to forgive us. Indeed, He ﷻ is The Kind, The Pardoner and The Forgiver - Ar-Ra'uf and Al-‘Afuw. May Allah ﷻ allow us to yearn only for our true home, and may we understand that the only way we will reach our true home is through sincere obedience to Him. May Allāh ﷻ help us all and thus guiding us to help each other. May Allah ﷻ protect our loved ones from any harm. Though, lately it has been quite challenging time for all of us. And many of us have lossed our dear ones. May Allah ﷻ protect our muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine and all over the world. May Allah ﷻ grant our Ummah victory. May Allah ﷻ grant us all forgiveness and ease to all those who rest in their graves and may Allah ﷻ grant his illuminous noor in their graves from amongst the noors of Jannah Al-Firdaus. Allahumma ameen! May Allahﷻ keep us steadfast on our deen. May Allah grant us all Jannat al-Firdaus. May Allah ﷻ make us do all of good actions for pleasing him alone and may he ﷻ be pleased with us always. Ameen ya rabbul alameen!

Iss duniya se pade maine ek jahan bana rakha hai. rishte-riwaz, usoolon se pade ek khawab saza rakha hai. jaha tu mera aur main tera hu aur baki sab ko waha se nikal rakha hai. jaha har wo chiz mumkin hai jo is duniya me nahi, jaha koi sawal nahi jaha koi jawab nahi, jaha bas hum hai aur koi pehre dar nahi, ek pahar, us pahar se hokar guzarti ek neher, us neher ke kinare ek chota sa ghar, ussey jyda ki aur khawahish nahi, raat me chand ki noor ho aur tare bhi hume dekh kar muskuraye, jughno'wo se itni roshni ho ke andhere me bhi gulshan nazar aaye, jaha tu mere sath ho aur mere hathon me tera hath ho aur ye zindagi kuch haseen nazar aaye, hakikat ye hai ki tu mera nahi, agar tu mera ho jaye, meri ye khayalon ki duniya hakikat ho jaye, agar yesa ho ke tu mera ho jaye to shayed mujhe is duniya me hi jannat naseeb ho jaye, agar tu mil jaye..

Where to go in Makkah and Madinah during Umrah?
Tumblr media
While on the Umrah trip, you may have plans to visit Saudi Arabia’s top religious tourist places. Most of these tourist places are in Makkah and Madinah; you can easily see them after performing Umrah. Consider booking your Umrah packages with Ziyarats from Edinburgh and taking it as an opportunity to visit and explore Makkah/Madinah.
In this text, we will discover the top tourist places to visit in the holy cities during your Umrah trip. Makkah and Madinah are religious places for Muslims, so you shouldn’t miss the chance to see them.
Makkah – The Holiest City of Islam
Makkah is where Muslims conduct their Umrah rituals inside the Masjid al-Haram. Let’s see what tourists and best places to visit in Makkah you can expect once you are free from Umrah rituals.
Jabal Al-Noor:
Jabal al-Noor in Makkah City is called the “Mountain of Light.” It’s in the northwest of Makkah and is approximately 4 kilometres away. This mount is famous because of Hira Cave, where the first revelation of the Holy Quran was held to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). That’s why some Muslims call this mount “Jabal al-Hira”. This mountain’s total height is about 634 metres, and climbing can take 1 to 2 hours, depending on the fitness level. You can visit here and perform some Nafal prayers to take blessings from Allah Almighty.
Mount Arafat – The Mountain of Mercy:
Another sacred and tourist location of Makkah is Mount Arafat. Muslims also call this “Mountain of Mercy” or “Jabal al-Rahmah”, located east of Makkah. It’s among the significant places of Islam where the Hajj rituals are also performed. So, imagine its significance now! In Mount Arafat, you can:
Stand and make Duas to Allah (SWT)
Offer prayers
Repent and seek forgiveness from God
Experience unity during Hajj
Recite the Holy Quran
Makkah Museum:
After climbing and walking, you will want to explore some artefacts and exciting items. Here, Makkah Museum will get you covered. This museum is one of the gems of Makkah, where you can explore artefacts and past items. To see this exciting place, count its distance from Masjid al-Haram, which is about 5 kilometres. In Makkah Museum, you can find:
Islamic calligraphy
Islamic art
A vast collection of artefacts
Pre-Islamic history
Library
Gift shop
Café
Auditorium
Madinah – The City of Prophet
There is no doubt that Madinah is famous because of the Prophet’s Mosque, also called Masjid-e-Nabwi. That is the reason behind its substitute name, “The City of Prophet.” The Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) resting place is this Mosque. Except for the Masjid-e-Nabwi, let’s explore other sacred places during our Medina trip.
Quba Mosque:
The Quba Mosque was the first Mosque ever constructed in Islam. Were you aware of this? Most tourists prefer to visit the Quba Mosque right after completing the rituals in Masjid-e-Nabwi. Quba Mosque is near Medina City; in the past, its area was called Quba, so this Mosque got its name from its village area.
While migrating from Makkah to Madinah, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and His companions rested here. Quba Mosque has undergone several renovations and modifications from time to time. Today, it shows its unique structure, somehow or slightly different from its original structure.
Seven main entrance gates
Four minarets which are parallel
Fifty-six mini domes
A coloured courtyard
It’s always open for visitors and pilgrims
Al-Baqi Cemetery:
Jannat al-Baqi, or al-Baqi cemetery, is located in Madinah in the southeast direction of the city. This cemetery is the resting place of many ancient and prominent figures of Islam. Some of them are:
Wives of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
Followers/companions of Prophet Muhammad, including Caliph Usman (R.A)
Ahl al-Bayt
Other remarkable Islamic scholars and figures
To show their respect and ask God for blessings, tourists and pilgrims visit Al-Baqi cemetery. However, this cemetery experienced significant restorations over the 20th century. Apart from these two famous places in Madinah, there are also other tourist spots that you can explore. See below:
Uhud Mountain
Masjid al-Qiblatain
Dar al Madinah Museum
Al Noor Mall
Wadi-e-Jinn
Overall, visiting tourist and holiest places in Makkah and Madinah during Umrah has become essential for pilgrims. Will you come back home without visiting Ziyarats points? For sure not! Ensure to carry crucial items when visiting holy places, such as water, medications, sunblock, umbrella, etc. Have a great visit!

Oo my mother, how do i put this in words how much you mean to me. How am i even trying to define you, your sacrifices, your unconditional love in words. Amma you are that noor (light) of my life that never fades away. Your smile is that cure for my heart that it's always in need of, even when it's perfectly cured. Your pain is soo huge that I can not even go close to it. You face battles every night and every morning guarding us like a soldier, like a mujahideen.
You're strange amma! You made me believe how a person can be strong and weak at the same time. You made me believe love is putting your loved ones choices before yours. You made me believe how one person's purpose of life is to make the life of other person better.
For you I wanna sacrifice my whole life. I wanna see you where you belong. Where baba is. I wanna see you both together the same way you lived here.
Idk why am I writing about my amma here, where she can't even find what I think about her. But ik just like me out there is a person who feels the same for his mother.
May Allah grant our mothers a house in jannat ul firdaus. May Allah showers his mercy upon them. May Allah be with them. May Allah accept her prayers. May Allah keep their blessed hands over us. Allahumma aameen🤍
