Named after the unsolved 1960's murder case in Finland, where the band hail from. Children of Bodom were formed in '93 by the late Alexi Laiho and Jaska Raatikainen, originally calling themselves Inearthed. They played melodic death metal with a bit of power metal mixed in. It's a cool interesting sound. 

I don't know much about them, other than I really like the music. Bits of classical in there, some heavier parts, it all works. And they had a sense of humour. Really go check out any of their covers. They've done Britney Spears' "Oops, I Did It Again" , Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Lookin' Out My Back Door" and, weirdly, Dropkick Murphys' "Shipping Up To Boston".. . Yeah, that last one shocked me.

Wasn't 100% sure what to do with this one. All their album art showed a Reaper character, so starting with him seemed obvious, but other than that... I dunno. I'm not unhappy with this, tried to draw Alexi playing reflected in the scythe, but I've never been great at likenesses. I think the mood's there, but I dunno...
