If you’re a good vibes only type and can’t handle the heat of hatred, then what do you even see in black metal? Do you just see it as a sPoOkY GoTh aesthetic you can steal from completely disregarding the entire culture? Isn’t that “culture appropriation”? It’s Norwegian. It’s based around paganism. So if you’re not on the same page as that then you’re a FUCKING POSEUR.
I’ve noticed that a lot of anti-elitism metalhead wannabes have the idea in their head they can sort of replace the ideology of black metal?
Do you think you can all of a sudden make it a new world friendship and acceptance narrated “CoMmuNiTy” where everyone has a TikTok and is politically correct and anybody who doesn’t fall into that line of thinking is just a piece of shit that you’re just gonna discard and throw away anything they say about black metal just because you think that you can suddenly rewrite the entire history and defining factors of a subculture??
Black metal is not and was never meant to be a COMMUNITY
It’s not meant to be a judgmental free zone welcoming to all with warm cozy little hugs
You don’t even deserve to know what black metal is about so I won’t tell you.
There’s shit you deviancy obsessed bimbos would never appreciate about BM because you simply do not have the conscious awareness of reality to fucking comprehend what its about and yet you sit there and tell elitists that they’re “mean” or “assholes”
You single-handedly are ruining everything with your hyper consumption and TikTok brain dead scrolling + trend hopping
Nothing is original or sacred anymore and so you think that you can steal pieces from subcultures for your aesthetic it’s DISGUSTING
Gatekeeping and elitism is intrinsic to black metal’s existence and NO you are not a key holder
