Sascolympics 2019 ✨
It was a 2 day of journalistic stuff as I join the team of Student Publication to attend the annual Sascolympics 2019 in CvSU - Rosario (CCAT) Campus.
Hahahaha let me share na nung una nagdadalawang-isip pako sumama kasi inaalala ko yung mga mami-miss ko na mga activities, but when Dacs agree na kapwa ko grade conscious hahaha at the end pumayag na din ako.
One thing that made me go for it is the fact na lahat ay sagot ng school, from transpo to food. Soooooo, life’s good, aangal pa ba ko? 🤣

DAY 1:
Buena manong meal pagdating ng event because it’s past 12, were late and all the participants are already having their lunch, and guess what? it’s Chicken McDo hahahahaha. Sakto sa cravings ko, medyo dissapointed nga lang dahil walang gravy hahaha but it’s okay tho. importante libre (be grateful).
McDo burger for meryenda hahahahaha. So me and dacs headed to our first coverage for the day and it was the Proposal Making Competition sa parang HRM building nila. Napakaswerte namin kasi yung venue is airconditioned and para siyang hotel, sana all diba? (CvSU - Imus left the group) hahahaha. 
For the said competition, nothing exciting about it, napakaboring niya on my part kasi gagawa lang sila ng plano about particular aspects like research, environment and the like that is expected to benefit the CvSU community. 
Pero GURLLLLL, yung kaboringan that moment nayanig, literal na nayanig coz of lindol. I thought nagalaw lang nung katabi ko yung upuan but when I saw the screen in front na gumagalaw na din, gaaaad doon nako nagpanic and sa lakas niya, nahilo talaga ako ng light. 
As part of the protocol pag may mga emergencies like this tinigil muna yung event and pinalabas lahat ng participant sa loob ng building. Pinapasok din naman nung maassure na na walang ng aftershocks.

DAY 2:
Medyo maaga-aga kaming nakarating this time and naabutan pa namin yung snack ng umaga hahahaha, Again, burger McDo again. And nakita ko din sa lobby na may mga boxes of Chicken McDo hahahahahaha ANUNA!!!!?? Lipad na hahahaha
After eating lunch, eat and run kami ni Dacs kasi magt-team building na daw. Team building ng tanghaling tapat and I was like, seriously!!? hahaha so para makaiwas, naghanap kami ng spot ni Dacs na medyo malayo sa venue haha and we find this place na puro puno, and nakakarelax so we had this talks on random topic including stands namin sa issue ng fam and somehow narinig ko yung stand niya. 
You know its always good to hear the stands of a person before hastily judging them.
After the talking and the hiding hahaha we already proceed to our assignments for the day.

Student leaders from Cavite State University - Imus Campus bagged numerous awards at the 4th CvSU-Wide SASCOLYMPICS with the theme of 4D Leaders: Decisive, Diverse, Democratic, and Developed held at CvSU CCAT last April 22-23.
Audrey Myles Macuto from Junior Marketing Association placed first runner-up in the recently concluded Mr. and Ms. SASCOLYMPICS 2019.
Other CvSU-Imus delegates composed of the Central Student Government and leaders from the various student organizations also bagged big wins in different contests of the said event.
Rhick Deuel Esteves, Ryan Christian Delos Santos, and Ferl Angel Brodeth were hailed champions of the Debate contest.
CSG-Imus together with the school's student organization leaders won three of the eight-point agenda, specifically: Student Development, Research, and Gender and Development (GAD), in the Student Leader's Best Practices.
Esteves and Gerald Panican with cooperation from SINAGTALA members Jaypee Kin Ceazar Rosalita and Roderick Pascua rose above other CvSU campuses' contestants to notch the titles of Resource Speaking and newly-added Lideratura Gaya competitions, respectively.
Furthermore, Roel Michael Alcaide placed 1st place in Extemporaneous Speech, while Kenneth Tapawan, Jivan Acebo, and Alex De Lara, Presidents of SMS (Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Sikolohiya), BITS (Builders of Innovative Technologist Society), and EDGE (Educators' Guild for Excellence) also capped 1st place in the Proposal Making contest.

NCLT directs to initate insolvency proceedings against Andhra Cement

The National Company Law Tribunal has directed to initiate insolvency proceedings against Andhra Cement, a company owned by the debt-ridden Jaypee Group.
The Hyderabad bench of the NCLT (National Company Law Tribunal) has also appointed Nirav K Pujara as the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) of the company, and declared a moratorium in respect of the company as per the provision of the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
"The company is now under CIRP (Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process) as per the provisions of the code. As per Section 17 of the code, the powers of the board of directors of the company stand suspended and as such the powers shall be vested with and exercised by the IRP," Andhra Cement said in a regulatory filing.
The company has also shared the order passed by the insolvency tribunal on April 26, 2022, in this regard.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Andhra Cement has invited its creditors to submit their claims by May 10, 2022, before the IRP.

Here are the top stocks to track today: Earnings Today: Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, HCC, Mcleod Russel India, Mercator and V2 Retail are among 64 companies slated to release quarterly earnings today. NMDC: The company posted a manifold jump in its net profit to Rs 2,838 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. It had clocked a Rs 351-crore net profit during the January-March period of the financial year 2019-20. Hero MotoCorp: Two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp will hike its vehicle prices by up to Rs 3,000 from July to partially offset the impact of the higher commodity prices. UBL: Markets regulator Sebi on Tuesday exempted Heineken International B V from the obligation of making an open offer following its proposed acquisition of shares in United Breweries Ltd (UBL). Sobha: The realty firm on Tuesday reported a 65 per cent YoY decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 17.9 crore for the quarter ended March. Its net profit stood at Rs 50.7 crore in the year-ago period. Symphony: Amit Kumar has been appointed as the Executive Director and Group CEO of the company. Kumar's appointment would be effective from August 2, 2021, Symphony said in a statement. Wabco India: Auto components maker Wabco India said its promoter group ZF International UK Ltd plans to sell up to 6.5 lakh equity shares for at least Rs 425.75 crore through the stock exchanges. GE Power India: The company posted a nearly 8 per cent YoY increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 16.02 crore for the March quarter, mainly on the back of higher revenues. The consolidated net profit of the company stood at Rs 14.87 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. Jaypee Infratech: Debt-laden realty firm Jaypee Infratech has posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 491.60 crore for the quarter ended March 2021. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 940.53 crore in the year-ago period. Centrum Capital: The company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 5.54 crore for the last quarter of the fiscal ended March 2021, while the full year loss stood at Rs 42 crore. The company, which is set to acquire the troubled PMC Bank alongside BharatPe, had reported a net profit of Rs 25.05 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Further, it plans to raise up to Rs 500 crore in equity capital from institutio­nal investors to fund organic and inorganic opportunities. IDBI Bank: The government on Tuesday invited bids from transaction advisors and legal firms for assisting in the strategic sale of IDBI Bank. VIL: Telecom operator Vodafone Idea (VIL) said it is offering voice and data benefits for low-income group users to reconnect back, as they resume work amid lockdown relaxation. CDSL: HDFC Bank on Tuesday offloaded leading depository CDSL's shares worth a little over Rs 185 crore through an open market transaction. Meanwhile, PPFAS Mutual Fund lapped up 15,90,764 shares of the depository at an average price of Rs 937.34 aggregating the transaction size to Rs 149.10 crore. Minda Industries: Auto components maker Minda Industries said it will acquire 51 per cent stake in Uzbekistan-based automotive lighting manufacture UZ Chasys for around Rs 58 crore. HDFC Bank: The country's largest private sector lender HDFC Bank on Tuesday announced that it will hire 500 people over the next two years as part of a special project to improve its IT infrastructure. Vedanta: The firm said the coal block in Odisha allotted to it, once operational, will provide fuel security, improve power availability and further strengthen the company's aluminium operations. Bharat Electronics: The company reported higher consolidated profit at Rs 1,368.15 crore in Q4FY21 as against Rs 1,046.97 crore in Q4FY20.
