💖 what's your favorite part of being a vtuber?

Is it cheating if I said EVERYTHING? Because there's so much I love about being a vtuber! I think the biggest thing is feeling more comfortable about being myself, since I don't have to focus on what my fleshy form looks like.

Plus who wouldn't enjoy being an anime girl on the internet?

🧡  what inspired your vtuber model/persona?

I've always loved those cool and stoic badass female characters that have tragic backstories. They ALWAYS had the best outfits and kicked a ton of ass. Two of my biggest inspirations were Shura Kirigakure from Blue Exorcist and Hayan Park from Unholy Blood.

Mash that together for my love of MMOs and RPGs - with a little sprinkle of all of my Elder Scrolls OC mixed in -and voila! You get my wolf final boss persona.

💚  what upcoming game are you most excited for?

Honestly, my excitement for games these days is very low, especially after the last few games I was excited for ended up being trash or nothing like I expected. They were mostly all AAA games too so that also didn't help the disappointment...

BUT indie games have yet to really fail me! So I'm super excited for Worship - a roguelike game inspired by the Pikmin play style! After playing Cult of the Lamb, which I love to death, I'm looking forward to being able to try another cult game with a fun twist.

I want your input on incentives!

I've got a few things I have to do now per last night's Randothon, and I wanna do stuff people will enjoy, so I'm opening the floor to anybody who's interested. Askbox is open and anon is on if you'd prefer!

-I gotta stream a horror game, what do y'all want? Gotta be on PC, ideally not for a bazillion dollars. I LIKE psychological horror, I really DON'T like body horror or gore, and I don't think I like jumpscares but I am willing to give them a shot because this is about pushing my limits for your entertainment. Be gentle with me, or don't, I dunno. I was initially envisioning trying out Goodbye Dr. Sanchez but I'm not sure if that "counts" and I'm also not sure I could rope in a collab partner for it. Then again I might try to recruit an emotional support guest anyway :P *waggles eyebrows at moots*

-I gotta stream a Kaizo game, what do y'all want? If left to my own devices I'll probably see if I can get Syobon Action going, but maybe there's a good babby's first romhack out there somebody can recommend? *waggles eyebrows at @jeadyvt *

-I gotta make an audio roleplay, what do y'all want? This is simultaneously the one I'm most excited about and the most awkward one, lol. I assume I'll write my own script. Do y'all want (a little) spice? Do y'all want romance? Do y'all want any particular tropes or settings? An ASMRtist I am not, but I do have a bit of acting background, and if I wanted to retain my dignity, well, maybe I should've thought of that before whiffing all four of my games~ If I get no input I'll just make something more natural and to my own tastes, which'll probably be some sorta saccharine flustered accidental confession subby friends to lovers something. My only thing is I think I wanna leave it as a gender-neutral listener. (but maybe I'll enjoy myself and make more specific stuff in the future?)

If any of those sound appealing I'd like to hear your opinions on 'em! Make me squirm a bit or let me off easy, your call!

💖 what’s your favorite part of being a vtuber?

OOOOOOOH this is a good one!

There are so many things I have come to love about being a vtuber since I debuted back in January so it's really hard to pick just one thing that would be my favorite.

If I had to narrow it down to one thing it would be that my favorite thing about being a vtuber is that it allows me to be 100% myself!

WARNING: This is gonna be a long ass post so I apologize in advance for my rambling 😂 TLDR will be included at thge end for my fellow peeps who hate reading!

As someone who spent most of my life (including the majority of my adulthood) undiagnosed with ADHD, anxiety and depression, I was always very worried with how people perceived me. Whether it was my appearance, how I talked, my body language, or stuttering.

I originally started streaming back around 2017 with a webcam but I didn't really enjoy it. I LOVE the aspect of being able to talk with people about things I'm passionate about, what they're passionate about and getting to share these crazy unique experiences that only streaming can bring. Yet I found myself struggling because of the "physical" aspect to it. Having my RBF (AKA resting bitch face) up on stream gave me SO MUCH anxiety and stress because I was afraid that people would think I was mean or cold or unapproachable.

So when I discovered vtubers ~2 years ago, which was around the same time I started to learn about neurodivergent tendencies and began to work towards getting a formal diagnosis, I was absolutely AMAZED!

I got to see these creators be whatever they wanted and not be afraid to be themselves and embrace their personality - and that was really inspiring to me!

TLDR: My favorite thing about being a vtuber: you can be whatever you want, whoever you want, be "in character," or be yourself! It has given me so much more confidence and let me be proud of the gremlin that I am!

Thanks to becoming a vtuber this year, I have been able to embrace my chaotic randomness, ramblings and personality - and I give zero fucks about what other people think!

I've been able to create a community that supports that energy, make friends who enjoy the gremlin vibes and do things that I would have never done had I not found vtubing. Having a model take over that "physical" aspect (and all of the fears and emotions that came with it) made me be able to enjoy streaming AND embrace who I am - which is a chaotic shitposting gremlin 😈
