Jeff Beck used several electric guitars throughout his career, but is especially known for his use of the Fender Stratocaster. Beginning in the 1970s, the Stratocaster became his primary and favorite guitar due to its versatility and sound-manipulation capabilities. Beck was famous for his tremolo bar technique and expressive playing without using a pick.
We also used other guitars at different times in his career, such as the Gibson Les Paul, especially during his time with the band The Yardbirds and on his early solo albums, such as Blow by Blow.
Another notable guitar we used was the Fender Telecaster, especially in his early days with The Yardbirds.
