The thing I've really appreciated while watching A Shop For Killers is Jian's character as a "child".

Even though she was trained by Jeonmin and Pasin... her thought process is still delayed/immature. She doesn't think like a killer. She wavers. She makes mistakes. She cries. But she's still fucking badass

genre: angst, single parent reader tw: break up synopis: sometimes all i think about is you, late nights in the middle of june.

 you were standing infront of your child’s school. you were in rush, cause you need to be in work in about 10 minutes, and your kid has 5 more minutes till her lessons ends. you were getting impatient, cause you should be there relaxed, but your boss called you out of nowhere, and teenage girl who usually take care of your daughter was at school. 

 getting angry can’t help you at all, you can’t just drag your kid out of class, so you need to be patient. there were a lot of other parents gathering around the school to pick up their kiddos. to be honest, it was something you haven’t expect to happen. you could never imagine yourself as a mother. you were just 20 when you got pregnet with love of your life. things were complicated, so you and him decided to break up. there was no chances for you to survive this thing. you agree to take daughter, and leave all behind.

 suddenly, school ring took you of out thinking, and a bunch of kids were running out of classrooms. you smiled to yourself, when you saw your precious girl walking towards you, but she wasn’t alone. she was walking along with some boy, you have never seen. your daughter was laughing at something he said, but her eyes lits up when she saw you. her little friends also lits up, when he saw someone, propably his parent.

“mommy!” you daughter ran to you just to hug you.

“hello sweetie.” you hug her tighter. “i missed you! who is your lovely friend?” with smile on your face, you turned around to look at this kid parents, and you froze in the spot. 

“this is kim jeonmin! my friend!” your daughter, and her friend were the only one smiling.

 you couldn’t smile at all. it was awkward, and stressful experience in your life. this one moment. next to you was standing the one, and only kim taehyung. love of your life with his wife. he still was trying to smile even tho it was awkward. his wife was looking at you two confused. you knew her, because of yoongi - your mutual friend. she doesn’t know about taehyung’s past. 

“o-oh. that’s nice! i am happy, that you earn a new friend, my dear.”

“oh nice to meet you!” wife of your ex smiled and bowed at you. “our son was talking a lot of about your cute daughter.” she was close to you, but you were looking at the floor.

“is that so?” she nodded. “then i am happy with it. it’s good to know, that my child has a friend.”

“of course! they are just like soulmates, they even look alike.” she laughed, and you let out awkward laugh. “honey, why don’t you introduce yourself to y/d/n?”

“well..”

“ah it’s not necessery! i’m in hurry, so i need to go!” you took your daughter hand, and wave them goodbye. “it was nice to meet you. have a wonderful day!”

“you too!”

 you left as soon as it’s possible.

“mommy, why are you so fast? wait.”

“mommy needs to go to work, honey.” you didn’t look at her. “i need to drop you off at your grandmother, and hurry to work.”

“ah, okay.”

 you were glad, that she stopped talking, because you were full of stress, and couldn’t think straight. you two get in the car, and without talking much, you headed to your mother house. 

back in work all you could think about is him. again. usually, once a day you think about him. it took you almost four years to finally forget about your ex. it was intense time in your life. with him you were the happiest you could ever get. world was so much better place for you. everything was fine untill you two get to go to university. both of you changed. he was at bussines class, and he choose to focus on his work, while you were attending fashion designing, cause you like it. because of things you learned there, that was simple, and you have a lot free time, but taehyung couldn’t say the same. he was always busy. also, he get much distanse from you. it was falling apart, and when you get offer to work in new york? it all ended. but it was reason for taehyung to finally end things between you two. 

 pain you felt back then was high, and intense. you couldn’t get yourself together. you were with taehyung for almost 4 years. it was long time. you had yours kid in yourself. three months after you left for usa, you noticed that you are propably pregnant. things were so bad, that you were in poor mental state. you were broken, and nothing could change it. there was so bad time, that you were kicked out of new york, because of your low grades. they were disapointed in you, cause you were promising person.

 you finally could forget but seeing him being a father in healthy marriage with another woman really breaks your heart. in past it was you, who thought that you are going to be at her place. that you’ll turn into taehyung’s wife. that you two would be wonderful parents.

 you asked your boss to day off. so now, 1:40 am, cigarette in your hand, your daughter is sleeping in her room, and you at balcony thinking about your life. you almost had tears in your eyes, cause it still hurt you how things between you, and him ended. 

 when you were about to go sleep, you get notification.

“hey, it’s me. wanna hang out someday with our kids? i saw that our kids, are close friends, and we haven’t seen each other in ages. i understand if you don;t want to, but it would be pleasure to talk to you again.”

The Lonely School Run ~ Min Yoongi

Walking through int the kitchen with his son holding one hand and his daughter another, Yoongi’s heart sunk when he saw a note on the side, scribbled in your handwriting to let him know that you’d been called into work early.

“Looks like it’s just us this morning guys,” he spoke, forcing a smile onto his face as he sat the two of them down for breakfast. “Mummy’s left us.”

“But what about my hair?” Somin questioned immediately.

Yoongi’s brows furrowed as he noticed her hair still a mess from her night of sleep, glancing across at Jeonmin on the other side of the table. “Mummy always does Somin’s hair so pretty daddy.”

“I know,” he frowned, picking up the hairbrush that you’d left on the side for him, “there’s a lot of pressure on daddy’s shoulders to make sure that he does it as good as mummy does.”

He passed one of Jeonmin’s toys across to him to distract him whilst he placed his daughter into his lap at the table, beginning to brush through her locks of hair. “Mummy makes me a nice plait.”

Yoongi’s head nodded, discarding the idea instantly as he tried to tousle through all of the knots in her hair before scooping it up into a ponytail at the top of her head.

“And the plait?” She questioned once Yoongi placed her back down on her feet, feeling through her hair to see it was just hanging loose. “Mummy always makes me a plait daddy.”

“I’m not mummy,” he smiled, kissing against the top of her head.

With a huff, Somin sat back down in her seat anyway, resting her hands against the table. “At least do breakfast like mummy does it, she always feeds us right to start our days.”

Yoongi’s head nodded, scoffing quietly at how similar she was to you at times. He’d watched you prepare breakfast several times before, two bowls of cereal, two glasses of orange juice and plenty of fruit cut up into bitesize pieces was surely enough to save his day.

“Because mummy’s not here, do you think we could have a croissant too dad?”

His body froze as Jeonmin put in a special request, knowing full well that they had Yoongi wrapped around their little fingers a lot more than they did you. His mind instantly thought of you and the trouble that he’d be in if you somehow found at that he’d fed them more for breakfast then you’d instructed him too.

“How can I trust that the two of you won’t stitch me up to mummy?” He asked as he placed what he had already prepared on the table. “You were the ones moaning that I don’t do things like mummy does earlier on.”

The two of them looked between each other and then back to their father who stood at the top of the table with his arms folded over his chest.

“You’ll be better than mummy,” Somin cheered, “and I’ll forgive you for not giving me a plait in my hair for school.”

It was an offer that was more than tempting to Yoongi as he looked between the two of them and then to the cupboard that he knew all the breakfast treats were stored in.

“If you tell mummy, they’ll be no games for a week,” he warned as he took the croissants out.

“We won’t tell, we promise,” they both smiled.

Yoongi’s head nodded as he tore open the packet, “at least I’m finally doing one thing better than your mum can.”

The smiles on their faces as he presented a plate of croissants a few moments later made it well worth it for Yoongi. The rest of their breakfast was forgotten about as they both reached forwards and started tucking into the treats.

Whilst they ate up, Yoongi grabbed the list that you’d left with your note, reading through it to make sure that there was nothing else that he’d forgotten. He knew if just a single step of their usual routine was broken, it would be on him.

Once breakfast was eaten, they were soon jumping down from the table and making their way to the front door. “Mummy always carries our bags for us too in the morning dad.”

Yoongi glanced questionably down at the two of them, “I know for a fact that’s a lie, I’ve never seen her carry your bags to school before.”

“She does, you must have just missed that bit.”

His head shook, passing their bags to them to carry for themselves. He was all for little white lies, but he knew without a shadow of a doubt that they carried their bags in the morning and you carried your own, going straight onto work after dropping them off.

“Will you be picking us up as well tonight dad?” Somin asked as she slid her shoes on.

“If you do, does that mean that we get to take a trip to the studio?” Jeonmin added.

Yoongi shrugged back at them both, he hoped you’d be finished in work at time, so he didn’t have to leave the studio, but he was also more than willing to pick them both up.

“I’m sure that all your uncles would love to see you if I had to pick you up,” he told them both, opening up the front door, “they can deal with your energy.”

“Don’t pretend you don’t love looking after us dad.”

His eyes rolled as he led them both out of the door, making sure that he had his keys in hand before closing the door behind them. They both skipped down the front path and out of the gate, calling out for Yoongi to catch up with them both.

At times he wondered how you managed to put up with them for so many hours in the day, they were never quiet for a second, always full of energy, and typically tiring him out very quickly whenever he spent time with him without you there for support.

Once he’d caught up with them both, their hands both reached up and intertwined with Yoongi’s pulling him down the road to match their fast pace.

“I don’t ever remember being this excited for school when I was your age.”

Somin’s wide eyes looked up at him, “our teacher is bringing chocolate in today because its Changkyu’s birthday, so we have to be there quickly to pick out the good chocolates.”

“That just feels like blackmail to encourage students into school,” he mumbled under his breath.

By the time he got to the front gates, dropped them off, and made his way to the studio, Yoongi was already spent for the day. The other members couldn’t help but smile when he collapsed down into his chair as soon as he got to the studio.

“Looks like someone did the school run,” Jin teased straight away, taking a seat beside him. “I wonder what went through Y/N’s mind sometimes to have two kids with you when you barely have the energy to look after yourself.”

“They just don’t stop,” Yoongi groaned, “it’s seven in the morning, why are they jumping around? Why have they never heard of a peaceful morning?”

All of the boys chuckled back at him, “they’re kids,” Namjoon reminded him, “and whilst you sit here moping, I know for a fact that you adore the two of them and you could never imagine your life without them in it.”

“I miss the peace of not having children,” Yoongi joked, “it’ll be years until I get that sort of peace again with the two of them constantly causing trouble.”

“You signed up to be a dad, now you get to deal with the consequences.”

  Below is a quotation from the essential points of “Article 9, Revolution decreed by Heaven when the incumbent emperor is found lacking in moral virtue- From Goryeo to Korea” in Confucianism of Korea.

[The reign of the 31st king of Goryeo, King Gongmin (in office between 1351 and 1374) corresponded to a tempestuous period in East Asia, as the mainland China lying to the north of Goryeo was experiencing the dynastic transfer of power from Yuan to Ming, while Japan was going through the internal conflict between the northern and southern dynasties and the increase in the forces of Wokou (Japanese pirates). […]

The pro-Yuan privileged class (powerful families), which had marital relations with the imperial family of Yuan, including the Gi clan, not only intervened in political affairs but also owned official rice paddies and the properties of farmers, turned those farmers into slaves and ran large farmlands worked by slaves. […]

Having seen the decline of Yuan after he had stayed there for 10 years, King Gongmin, following his enthronement in 1351, purged the pro-Yuan forces including Gi Cheol in 1356.

In addition to abolishing the Ministry for East Conquest, King Gongmin removed all the elements of Mongol origin from the systems and customs of Goryeo, Besides, he recovered Ssangseong Prefectures by force and rooted out the Mongol forces from the territory of Goryeo. […]

In 1365, King Gongmin appointed the Buddhist monk Pyeonjo as the priest of the state, gave him a strong power and asked him to coordinate internal political affairs. Sin Don was his secular name. He asked the king to set up an office called Jeonmin Byeonjeong Dogam in order to investigate the lands and slaves owned by pro-Yuan powerful families. The lands were returned to the original proprietors and the slaves were freed and turned into law-abiding people. This measure caused heavy damage to pro-Yuan owners of large farmlands. That was why Sin Don was killed in 1371 and King Gongmin also died a violent death.]

  That was how the Yuan dynasty lost its ruling base inside Goryeo and the pro-Yuan forces were eliminated. Yi Jachun, father of the founder of the Joseon dynasty Yi Seong-gye, contributed to the elimination of the Yuan forces, by following the king of Goryeo from inside Ssangseong Prefectures.

   However, the Yuan dynasty no longer had the power to deal with the measures taken by King Gongmin.
