I acquired this copy of Jim Lehrer's satirical novel VIVA MAX from a bookstore in Dallas years ago because it had some old photos stuffed away in it. Turned out they were original photos taken during the filming of the 1969 film adaptation starring Peter Ustinov in San Antonio, Texas. Even further, the copy of the book had numerous autographs in it from director Jerry Paris, producer Mark Carliner and cast members Ustinov, Harry Morgan, Pamela Tiffin, Kenneth Mars, and Jack Wakefield.
