Sometimes, I truly think Jiang Yanli was a good sister to Wei Wuxian, but not Jiang Cheng, and it pisses me off because I feel like I'm being the kind of petty person anti-JC people say we Jiang Cheng fans are–

But I can't help but think of numerous occasions where Jiang Yanli was there for Wei Wuxian, yet none come to mind for Jiang Cheng. I can think of many times she broke up their fighting, but none where she sided with Jiang Cheng.

And that moment in the donghua, where Jiang Cheng hugs her and she seems almost surprised?

When will the people Jiang Cheng loves see him as more than his mother's son?

Jiang Cheng deserves better. I just..I know he has a terrible temper and yes maybe he could control it but still.

He lost his golden core to save Wei Wuxian and Wei Wuxian gave his golden core to Jiang Cheng but WWX doesnt know that JC lost his bcs he knew if he didnt show himself Wei Ying would've been caught.

It hurts that it ended with them still on bad terms :((((

no yea i'll literally stand on the jiang cheng hill until i die. i hate the way some apologists villainize other characters in order to put him on a pedestal, but seriously, he was a teenager. they all were. and they were in this gruesome war and had no choice but to fight and be child soldiers. he had to watch his home burn and his parents die. it's natural to lash out, he's traumatized.

and god yea the storyline of the yunmeng siblings literally destroy me constantly it's so sad and tragic and i wish we could've gotten more of a reconciliation
