It's high time for another duo of seasonal Henson/Muppets goodness. As I keep pointing out, the placement in the loose order of this marathon is precarious at best, and many have shifted yet again, as I watch them this year, but for the time being, this felt a good place for a another Henson injection. 🌲 Blu Christmas Holiday Movie Asplosion 2022! ⛄ Chapter 24: Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas 🦌 This adorable Jim Henson TV special classic, from back in 77' right about smack dab in the middle of the run of the original Muppet Show, is full of charm, muppetry, and a couple songs that sounded so authentically like they should've been existing long established standards that many thought they were, and have since essentially become so (sometimes the genius of Paul Williams hits just right).
