I thought the purpose of an Army dedicated song was for it to be OFFICIALLY out for all Army to listen to” because yes despite that being uploaded online by other Army but if we all decided to be petty and selfish af, this won’t see the light of the day on the internet and that defies the whole purpose of a song for Army.

As i said above this album is about himself, he’s talking about his own struggles so saying that this is an Army song as if Army are a struggle too is a bit.. And that also on his very first solo album where he’s supposed to focus on sharing a message about himself. When Hobi decided to dedicate a song to Army he didn’t put it in JITB it was a separate single, Joon didn’t have no Army dedicated song in Indigo either because again their solo Albums are about themselves, it’s a journey to share with us their individuality and their own colors. Jin didn’t have much of a choice he had to leave for MS there wasn’t enough time for an album or maybe he himself didn’t really feel the need to make an album and his main focus was to make a song for Army which he did and gifted us Astronaut. (GOD I MISS JIN)

The lyrics too, i as Army and as Jimin’s FAN, it didn’t feel directed to me. “Now I'll be the one to hold you, When you want to cry, So you won't trip and fall” or even “Because we don't know what days await us, Though it's scary, though we're afraid, Never forget that we're together” those feel like something related to himself as well, let’s also not forget that technically speaking it’s related to “Like Crazy” too which i explained above, why would anything Army related be scary? Why would we be afraid? What is there to be afraid of? Also how will Jimin hold us when we want to cry? 

I also said that i disagree on the fact that it’s a “Jikook song” i don’t know how to explain precisely but some people seem to interpret it as THEIR song whereas even if Jimin is actually singing about his relationship with JK it’s still about his OWN feelings, his OWN promises, his OWN confession, despite JK doing the background vocals in which they harmonized so very beautifully kudos to them, i still think it’s all about Jimin, yes there might’ve been a reason why he chose JK himself for that or maybe they chose that together because really it could’ve been anyone and JK could’ve done the background vocal to any other song in the album yet it was on this one. He really did a lot of effort to open up to us so i really hope people see it as his pov on everything. 

I made a post relating the song to There for You from GCFT and yes quite honestly to me it feels like a response to “I’ll be there for you but you gotta be there for me too” and yet again it still goes back to the same thing, it is Jimin’s OWN reply. I also noticed how Army songs didn’t have other members in them (well i mean Army songs in this solo era) so again why would this be an Army song if JK was in it? I don’t even know if all of this makes a lot of sense, can’t say i’m the best with words but i tried to convey how i see it. 

Oh and let us be reminded that this was his reaction to knowing we found out about and and so cheesily saying that he won't tell us about it for now lol

Honestly, tae has always been a distant third when it comes to streams. Most of his fans are the definition of visual stans and he is the main person that kpoppies token stan and they don't stream for their actual favs. His most recent ost debuted with 1.7 million streams, so they doubled that for his solo debut.

Jungkook and taehyung are mostly token stanned by other kpop stans. But here's the thing, those kpop stans might watch their fancams or whatever but i dont think they go out of their way to stream or buy for tae and jk's music. Those people usually don't care about the music.

We all know why jk is doing good on charts. I'm not gonna talk about it again and again.

But well.... Taehyung didn't get the things that company gave jk. And the promotion mhj might be going with for tae is not working either. Not yet at least. So tae only has his stans left. Those who token stan him don't support his music. And the funny thing is that his own fans mostly stan him for visuals and don't really care about his music. I even saw a tweet from one of his stan talking about how they should do a project on weverse to tell taehyung to go for promotions that will make him do better on charts.

Like as if tae doesn't know what he's doing. He's not a rookie. His two songs till now are just not good. That's it. I think it's not most people's taste. And seeing that tweet just showed that his fans don't care about music and are just obsessed with charts because otherwise how will they prove that tae is the most popular?

So i think it's better to have a strong, dedicated fanbase who actually cares about your music, works hard with streaming and buying, and cares about the artist's artistry. Like pjms. I know pjms have some rotten eggs too but almost all of them genuinely love jimin and not the y/n type, they care about jimin's music and respect his artistry. I'm glad that pjms are growing more and more. Jimin needs a strong and established fanbase.

Also I saw some anons in other pjm blogs talking about how they feel bad for tae and I was like "dude why?" Why are they feeling bad. First of all it's their fault that the promotion that they were going for is not working for tae like how it works for newjeans. And seriously I can't bring myself to pity him when we have seen the way Face got treated, it was jimin who actually got sabotaged and it's worse because jimin's music was actually good.

Taehyung is not being sabotaged at all, it's just that his two songs till now are boring af. Nobody is talking about it because there's literally nothing to talk about. The mv is not some art masterpiece. The lyrics are basic, the song sounds underwhelming. So people are just not talking about it. Both songs didn't create any hype for his upcoming album.

And I'm sorry but tae stans were the ones who are always actively hating on jimin, they didn't feel bad when jimin got sabotaged (yeah actual sabotage) so i can't bring myself to give two fucks about tae nor do i feel bad for him. I don't. There's nothing to feel bad about. He's not been done wrong, he's not sabotaged, why should I feel bad? I've never cared about tae and I'm not gonna do it now. Some pjms are too soft hearted I swear to God.

Today we got confirmation that Tae, Jimin and Namjoon are all working on new music. I'm starting to wonder about when they'll enlist and I'm kinda scared their releases will be cramped together again for the sake of enlistment asap. Like they technically still have until June to enlist and make it back in 2025, but I doubt that whatever they're all working on right now will take that long to be released. If Jimin was indeed filming a MV in Budapest then he's probably the next one to release, but when and how long after will Tae and Namjoon release their stuff is unknown... Not to mention how Hobi has a OST album scheduled for Spring 2024 since last year. And Jungkook probably isn't done with his solo rollout yet... I'm kinda getting impatient and tired of all the back-to-back singles and albums. The fandom needs a break before Jin comes back 😭

"Of course we can." Y/N assured him, but a glimmer of doubt shone in his eyes. Reluctantly, the group pelled their tired bodies away from the floor and Y/N started the music for Dreamy Nights.

The boys were preparing for a comeback, Starstruck, but the thing was, in addition to 10 tracks, the company decided to give them 2 OST's, and 8 multi-mrmber songs.

Exhaustion was clear ont heir faces, especially Haewon and Y/N. The two eldest had been working day and night to get everything done in time for 21st April.

"Won, you should get some sleep, I can finish up." Y/N said, seeing Haewon slumped in the chair as he looked over the tracks. Haewon didn't complain, dragging his feet out of the room.

Y/N sighed and looked over at the clock. 3am. He's have to finish up later.

Incoming call from Park Jimin.

"Hello?"

"Y/N, hospital, now." Jimin said tersely. "Junyong got attacked by sasaengs."

"Wha- how come you're there?" Y/N asked dhis eldest brother. "You're BTS, not NCT."

"Well, I found him being attacked." Jimin said. "Just get here now, bring Jae and Sung with you."

Y/N grabbed his bag and raced over to the Dream dorm, frantically stuffing the extra key into the lock.

He knocked on Jisung and Jaemin's door. Jisung came out, half asleep, but woke up fully when he saw his twins panicked expression.

"What's going on?"

"Junyong's in the hospital."

Together, the twins went to the 127 dorm, and ended up taking Taeyong with them too.

BTS songs I believe aren't recognized enough - Your Eyes Tell

For those who are fans of fantasy, emotionally moving and magical feels, this song is a great recommendation in my opinion. Released back in the year 2020 along with BTS's "Map of the Soul - The Journey", Your eyes tell is a warm song sung from the heart and written by our very own Jeon Jungkook, full of nothing but raw emotion.

Although it is in fact an OST for a Japanese movie under the same name (and sung in Japanese), Your eyes tell can easily of been a B-side for "Map of the soul - seven" if it was initially made as a song solely for their studio album in my opinion.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this song is, and with Jungkook's raw emotions with writing this coming through, it pains me that not all BTS fans are aware of this song, making it all the less recognized among the community.

Although, there are many key points in this song that make me want to put it on repeat, but most of the time, Jin's Pre-chorus before chorus one easily takes the cake for me as he shines extremely well in songs like this (such as Epiphany, Abyss, Moon etc.) However, I must also give credit to Jungkook's outro for the song, ending it in such a calm and mellow way, just like how it started at the very beginning.

Not to mention Jimin's beautiful high note at the end of the bridge, but to put into conclusion, it really has a lot of points to highlight throughout, and I believe all seven members did extremely well (I mean, when do they not right?). Your eyes tell is a wonderful track, and it being an OST for a movie makes it even more exceptional in response. For those who are curious on what the song sounds like, I have linked a preview below, but in my opinion, it doesn't necessarily show the best parts and only the chorus, which is still put together extremely well.

I am a 2017 army and have been waiting for his solo album after I had a honor of listening to lie and serendipity and how both of them are soooo different and how jimins voice is mesmerizing. Oh how I wish I could go back honestly. In some season greeting they were reading some kind of future thing and it is said jimin earns more money or something similar and yoongi said his album might hit daebak and I was jumping in joy and screaming fast forward to sep/October when he said he was working on a song aiming to release that year, I was honestly holding my breath and trying not to get it to me and eventually forgot abt it only to see a tweet on my phone on Dec 31, 2018(kst), I literally was just in trance for 30 mins just looping the song. I did not open twitter or anything just listening to the song and once again thought omg omg omg omg and by 2019 taekook announced they were working on mixtapes and I was thinking how will jimin's album would be? but since he didn't talk abt it I wasn't keen on that thought and boom in 2020 we have a bewitching filter with enticing lyrics and jimin summoned his inner siren in the song and me merely a human also a long time victim of park jimin's voice fell into despair because at that point I was craving to listen his voice in a full album like never before and was blessed with christmas tree too. I was singing it more than one who celebrates Christmas and i am not even a christian.

I think in 2021(?) vogue z gq magazine, jimin said he has no plans for a mixtape at the moment and I was deeeeeeeply disappointed 😔 but to my utter happiness in only 5 months,godless sungwoon and ost team, they did with you and it is the debut of jimins profie in spotify and later we were also told jimin was preparing for an album and already has some songs and I was onnnnnn the edge😭😭😭😭😭 and now we have FACE, Vibe, and angel songs and CTT like??????? and there is a possibility of another single too???? I am extremely proud of his journey to face🥹 and dreams do come true

Learning More About The Music Industry and Understanding Who Calls The Shots.

There has been quite a bit of discourse in relation to the individual rollouts of the members and their solo endeavours.

BTS gave us an as open and honest intimate conversation as they could within the limits of still being mindful of company and personal business. They told us then and time and time again since then what they wanted to do/show.

Since the festa 2022 dinner what they talked about coming out since then is all but nearly done, j-hope, Jin, RM, JIMIN and SUGA have all released solo projects, showed different genres, different sides of themselves, made video game OST, interned at their favourite video game company, guested on several variety shows, worked with huge global artists, promoted home and abroad, headlined festivals, intimate performances, performed in galleries, performed and won domestic music shows, Disney documentaries and a solo tour!

Jungkook is now at the beginning of his solo promotions as the second to last member of the seven to delve into his solo career.

The members from what they spoke about during the festa 2022 dinner have seemingly achieved what they intended to.

I'm not writing to take any individual member's 'side'.

Some members have been vocal in what exactly they have had their hands in, how happy they felt with their involvement in the creative, marketing & promotional aspects of their solo endeavours.

However the discourse has been building among ARMY in regards to the different ways promotion, marketing, and the perceived level of autonomy/control each member has in their solo career and the perceived level of input/support from their company and members.

I'm not going to talk about those perceptions, I'm not going to highlight the differences in each members solo activities, solo output.

I want to bring back, a tiny bit, the reality of the music industry.

BTS Made Hybe!

No question, when BTS joined Big Hit it was a very small, relatively new company. I've spoke about this in a previous post.

Big Hit, before the introduction of Hybe, housed solo artist Lee Hyun, relatively new group TomorrowxTogether and BTS.

After the general public were introduced to Hybe and til date, several companies have joined the Hybe family, such as Pledis, Adora and others.

We would think that BTS would pretty much run the company alongside their Chairman

However that is not the case and not only that, BTS are now NOT Hybe's main and sole focus.

Some things that I have kept seeing brought up a lot is 'global vision', 'accelerate global operations' and 'formula for global success.'

It is *my* understanding that one of the current goals for Hybe is to be able to replicate BTS' UNPRECIDENTED global success again and again, with current artists under Hybe and new artists. This includes the members as solo artists as well.

Whilst ARMY know the names of each of the members and refer to them personally more often than not, we only know the artists we are allowed to know.

We don't know them as employees and that is what they are under Hybe, employees of an entertainment company.

But BTS are Shareholders!

Though the members are shareholders, in comparison to other shareholders, it is still a token stake in the company at best, less than 1.5% stake in the WHOLE company for bangtan as a whole (if equally split by 7 members it’s 0.2%, that’s the rough hypothetical amount of ‘leverage’ each member has!)

The company still has thousands of nameless, faceless (to ARMY) employees under their payroll, the company still have thousands of nameless, faceless people who are invested in the financial wellbeing of the company, and they will not and do not want to be dependant solely on BTS and ARMY.

Their main concerns and considerations will never be to BTS or ARMY but to what guarantees them money longterm and with the least risk. The company’s unspoken but widely understood goal *in my opinion* is to be significantly less dependent on BTS in particular and any one group thereafter. They aim to prove it’s the company that gives success, not any one group or one member that gives the company success. They don’t want their signees to have power over them, they want to tilt the scales back so it is the company that has power over the signees as it has been historically UNTIL BTS.

When we feel disgruntled with a lot of the product that we get from the members, we need to remember we are seeing the END RESULT.

There is a long line and different processes it goes through before it gets to ARMY & the general public. Who has they final say, who allows what, who pushes what, how much does the company allow the individuals to have control over and when do they tighten the leash?

Ultimately it would start from the top and as much as we would want it to be and believe it deserved, its not BTS at the top of the pyramid, but these two and others.

1. Dragged him for playing pool with Taemin, a smoker in 2016. Tae caught smoking and with cigarette box multiple times since 2019 and antis on his ass for that.

2. Spread JM is pushing himself onto Jk and Jkk doesn't have any bond. JK confirming they were awkward and didn't had a chill relationship. Said Jkk is one sided and JM is the one using FS to be popular. 2023, Tae using tkk agenda like his life and career depends on it.

3. Spread JM is a womanizer and even has a kid lmao, created a dating rumor for him in 2022 which was ignored by even JM stans. 2023 Tae embroiled in dating rumors that too with a woman they hate the most, pics and videos out, discussed in national news channels. Peace destroyed of all stans and their mommas. Don't be surprised if pregnancy announcement is next lmao.

4. Dragged him for having no work after hiatus announcement in 2022. New JM music every 2 month, signed with 2 lux brands in world, sang in Hollywood ost, continuing to make and break records in 2023. Tae no new music since hiatus, did a dishwashing show, signed with 2 fuckass brands that even his own stans got upset for.

5. Called his fans the most toxic, blamed JM for having lot of solo stans, spread his fans are good for nothing antis. 2023, Tae calling his stans boring and corny. Not spending a proper 5 minutes to interact with them that not missing his live became a luxury thing for them.

6. Wished JM will commit suicide when he had a low point in 2022, said he'll alienate himself from all activities. 2023, JM so happy and cheerful and confirmed he's perfectly alright now. While tkkrs haven't slept for days and is verge on mental breakdown. While their fav is acting like a coward and not defending the woman he supposedly love.

7. Dragged JM for his musical skills, saying he can't sing nor produce good music. Saying his album will most flopped among members who are musicians. 2023, FACE reigning charts. JM credited for writing all songs. Got an hot100 historic achievement that God knows when will repeat again. Lmao

But whatever Tae stans spread about JM and is projecting onto him is literally coming back to them that they have to sacrifice their whole life to defend him LMFAO 🤣
