Mr. Manasranjan Rana migrates existing software applications to the microservices architecture. For instance, he combined Kubernetes and Docker to create an innovative container technology. He even used Kubernetes for loading balance, deploying of scale, and management of various Docker containers.

Mr. Manasranjan worked hard to develop the existing architecture of various microservice models with the application of innovative software techniques, like Docker Containerization. Later on, he collaborated with various other developments’ supporting teams to establish a consistent delivery environment by using Docker.

Mr. Manasranjan Rana used the two main ticketing tools named SNOW and JIRA for tracking varieties of Dockerization issues associated with legacy applications. He also implemented strategies for reducing a few of the common problems, which engineers face while working with Docker and Docker containers.
Use of UBS Deploy Scripts to Deal with Different IT Aspects
Mr. Rana creates and maintains various fully automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines of the DevOps environment. The pipelines help in the deployment of codes with the help of UBS deploy and puppet scripts. He also used UBS Deploy to improve, manage, and monitor the cloud infrastructure actively with the help of functional releases, DBaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
Configuration and Installation of AppDynamics
Mr. Rana and his entire team were responsible to configure and install AppDynamics to monitor the network bandwidth consistently and to check its memory usage and status of the hard drive.
Management of GitHub Repositories
Mr. Manasranjan managed a few of the essential GitHub repositories and related GitHub permissions, especially the permissions for tagging and branching optimizations. Here, the GitHub repository is a hosting service, which provides an online graphical interface and features related to collaboration and access control, including the essential task management tools to perform different projects.
Helps in Reduction of Manual Efforts
As a DevOps Engineer, he built many support Toolkits by simply integrating different applications to reduce the manual effort of production support experts to only 5minutes to 10minutes from 40minutes to one hour.
Wrote Custom Ansible Playbooks
Mr. Rana in collaboration wrote varieties of custom Ansible playbooks to deploy orchestration and develop different playbooks to automate and simplify the daily tasks related to server administration.
Oracle Cloud Test Environments
We know that an Oracle Cloud Platform is one of the four different Oracle services. The cloud platform provides IaaS i.e. Infrastructure as a Service, Saas i.e. Software as a Service, PaaS i.e. Platform as a Service and DaaS i.e. Data as a Service. Based on the knowledge of Mr. Rana in Oracle Cloud, he migrates and maintains both build and test environments in different components of the Oracle Cloud.
Led Multiple Validation Activities for Test Modules
Mr. Manasranjan Rana has led most of the validation activities for different sub-modules assigned by UBS to conduct testing of different types. These are user experience, system, functional, and integration tests. He also created the Go-Live plan and managed different types of activities involved in the plan.
Designed POCs and Participated in KT Sessions
Lastly, Mr. Rana designed both high-level and low-level design artifacts with proper guidance and supported prototyping activities by designing POCs. Moreover, he participated in various KT sessions to design appreciation documents and to support the complete transition process.
Therefore, as a DevOps Engineer, Mr. Manasranjan Rana has driven the Union Bank of Switzerland towards the path of success and progress. Later, he worked and continuing to work as a Hadoop Administrator.
