What kind of food do dogs like? Is he seriously asking you that? It's obvious to you, at least... they like anything. Dogs will seriously and earnestly try to eat anything even if they shouldn't. They may be man's best friend, but that doesn't mean they are always the brightest bunch. Yet, he was trying to be better at dealing with your pets... he has such an irrational fear of what animals think about him. It's one of the few moments that actually being able to understand animals comes in handy for you.

Ah. He is just a bit to much sometimes. Calling out to you in such a familiar way while shaking around the body of some unconscious soul that he wishes to feed to the bus. You only look at him for a second before averting your eyes once more... You do, however, think about what he is asking. It's not like the bus needs more fuel right now, but clearly this guy wants to get rid of this poor forgettable person.

@jiwone offered... not necessarily sure it's a misconception, but what do you feel about the general fandom idea that susie is the nice one of legion, who was entirely dragged along by the others in their crimes? i see people tend to treat her like a victim & i'm curious how you feel about that!

oh boy, let's get into this.

so, i can see where the whole "susie is the nice one, she doesn't know what she's doing," comes from. more specifically, the part of the legion's backstory where it is pointed out that susie is the only member of the legion who doesn't stab the first person frank kills. i can see where someone would read that and think that susie maybe isn't on board with it.

this, however, leads to a slippery slope of a few things. A. robs susie of a lot of her own agency, because she does willingly take part in all of the other crimes the legion does, B. completely villainizes frank and julie in particular.

i cannot tell you how many posts i've seen where frank simply manipulates the entire legion and he's the truly horribly evil big bad, OR... julie is just as evil and bad as frank and helps in manipulating her best friend into a life she does not want.

this?? just feels so silly to me after a point. maybe if they all met in the fog, and susie had no choice but to kill as a killer... but that's simply not the case.

susie actively commits all the other crimes w/ the legion. she is not some victim who is not aware what they are doing is wrong. there is a point she crosses with the killing as well... where she doesn't care anymore.

as far as i'm aware, susie is only described as hesitating in literally that one instance. correct me if i'm wrong, but it feels a little silly to have the conclusion she actually wants to do none of this from that one line, right?... well, that's the thing. i don't think it comes from that one line.

it might be a little weird to say but, i honestly also think the fact susie dyes her hair pink, has A LOT of colors in her skins, is shy, and so forth, also adds to susie's infantilization by the fandom.

which happens with a lot of other female characters as well. like, yes, she's cute. she's adorable.

she is still fully aware of the fact she is a killer and is okay with that. it's taking simple things of her personality, and that one line in the backstory and turning that into that shes and uwu babey who frank abuses and who julie is horrible to for dragging her into all of this.

anyway. thats my rant. let susie have her damn colors and still murder survivors.

"P-- Pushing boundaries--?!" Oh, Gent is baffled. struggling to find the right words at first due to the bullshit coming from Jiwoon's mouth. "Are you-- !! Are you aware of how much you're sounding like a HYPOCRITE right now?! You must be-- You know what you're doing right now, right?! You're-- You're aware of your own actions?! Right?!"

Gent is feeling dizzy in the head because of just how upset-- no, how angry he is. It's a lot. He does not get angry easily. It doesn't happen often because of it. And, thus, it becomes overwhelming when he does finally feel it. The feeling makes it hard for him to think. It makes him tremble and shake and unsure of what to do with his hands because nothing. Fucking. Works. Not a single movement helps with letting out the energy that builds up in his ( not even hecking alife ) body.

They take a shaky breath and their voice calms down a little. Gent isn't yelling, shouting, anymore. . . but the emotion is still very much there, noticeable in the way it cracks.

"You must be. . . You must be really hecking childish and emotionally immature and, most of all, foolish if you can't understand what I mean. If you can't see-- can't tell--" She makes a vague gesture to the injured person behind her boyfriend. "After all, you're LITERALLY pushing someone's boundaries right now. That's. . . That's obvious, right? Come on, you're smart enough for that. . ."

Finally, hands clench into fists at their sides. What they're feeling has turned into anger, disgust, disappointment-- resentment. It's suffocating, makes tears form at the corners of their eyes, makes them feel sick and oh so dangerously close to throwing up.

"Don't fucking tell me that you have a good reason for doing this. There's no way in hell that there exists one. If you belief there is one, then I have news for you: you're completely disconnected from reality."

Just for a second, it seems like Gent has disappeared, but they've simply teleported and are now standing behind Jiwoon, holding the person who was being tortured before. While she'd been talking, the person had bled out and passed away-- she intends to make sure they are found and get a proper funeral.

"Since we are talking about boundaries, let me tell you what mine is. I REFUSE to date someone who does something like this. I REFUSE to be with someone who hurts others in such a disgusting way."

One last thing is said before he teleports away for real, holding the biggest victim in all of this.

"It's over."

❛ A favor...⸺? I have to wonder what’s the occasion? ❜ an expression filled with curiosity && the grin of the so-called monster is plastered 'pon maiden's features. although, her expression is nothing more than a mere act of its own. emotions are nothing more hassle, ( happiness, anger, sadness ) they are far too complicated. even as a child, Hilda never understood the children around her whenever they found themselves crying over pity things. this is not to say that she was emotionless per say, however, she simply struggle to truly express anything that did not relate to unhealthy interest in bringing pain to those around her...

let me elaborate a bit on the TWO that are left blank: he CAN have a bossy personality, but he's good at hiding it & its not his default. & he usually doesn't mind stubbornness, unless its about certain things. since these are both situational i elected to not check them off, but if circumstantial still counts ... well, we have a blackout.

She looks over each of these with a smile because would you look at that, he is just her type. Literally the walking, talking, handsome definition of her type.

Percival tries, quite poorly, to stop the twitch of irritation that invades his features. His first instinct is always difficult to stop, it was stronger than any reserves of self-control he kept. It's a pride-wrought response, something he tries to keep to himself but had never quite had the control to do so.

Percival felt like he was locked in an infinite battle, overcoming & adapting at every turn. The lengths he would take to do so were indefinable, insurmountable. ( perhaps this is why the words strike him, like the back of a hand. it's an insult, it must be. ) if he were to stop, tragedy would win & grief would take him. Which wasn't an option - not yet, at least.

The instinct to snap back at the other rears it's head, barking at him in tandem with his heartbeats. It made each steady ' thump ' feel heavier as he guided the emotion, tempering it to the best of his ability. But that outrage is his protection & so he rides it like a high.

" No. It's not," he admits, sounding almost pleased with himself. Almost, being the keyword. A private ' something ' is folded into the words. A dare, maybe? or even a threat. It's hard to identify even as he pushes words through his teeth. Percival was nothing if not a slave to impulse & so a smirk causes the knot in between his brow to unravel, " but you don't get to know every card I have to play. "

THERE IS NO POINT IN TALKING ABOUT HOW YOU GOT HERE. It's not the first time some person has taken you off the street and tied you up in some strange building to torture and murder you. You've pissed off many people you shouldn't have in your life so you are familiar with these sorts of things... And you know what pisses off these people the most usually. You are combative and vulgar, you don't scream or cry, you just criticize them and make it difficult to get any reaction other than you acting as you normally would. 

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED THIS TIME TOO. This guy must have gotten so sick of you which is why he killed you. Not that it scares you much- You know you'll just come back in an hour or so and by then he's probably dumped your body somewhere and left. Typical things... You just have to bide your time and wait. It's annoying and you hate pain, but so long as you don't stay dead, then who cares?

MAYBE YOU WERE TOO HOPEFUL ABOUT HIM BEING QUICK. Your body has come back to life and your eyes flutter open as he is getting you down from the ceiling and you don't hesitate to spit on him as you grit your teeth " Asshole. Why the hell are you so slow? Can't you move any faster? "
