Jojos bizarre adventure part 4 to 6...

Well, I just finished Jojo's, and I have no idea where to start. WHAT AN ANIME, WHAT A SERIES, AND HOW AMAZING EVERYTHING WAS. I started watching the series because of the memes and ended up watching one of the most incredible anime series ever. Seriously, what an amazing freaking anime, I enjoyed it like crazy. Let's break it down: Josuke's season was one of my favorites; I really liked the plot, and throughout the season, I was trying to figure out how the heck they were going to beat Kira, and while it didn't have as many memorable fights, the final battle is spectacular. Giorno's season also impressed me; it was the one I was most looking forward to, and it was totally worth it. The fights were great, and the ending too. Plus, the soundtrack for this season is exquisite, and it also has one of my favorite moments of the entire series and one of the reasons I started watching: The Torture Dance. And finally, Jolyne's season... it was my favorite of them all :v, great fights, great opening, spectacular villain (actually my favorite in the series), and with a final battle that can only be described as overwhelming. Bro, Pucci's stand is the most fucking cataclysmic power I've ever seen in any medium, I literally felt genuine distress watching the entire fight against Pucci. I'm trying to think of any character with a similar power, but I can't think of any (Edit: Antispiral too, cof cof); he literally reset the damn universe XD. One thing I loved about this series was the deaths, and those who have followed me for a long time will know that one of the things I hate most in an anime (especially in One Piece) is fake deaths, but in this damn show, they keep killing off all the protagonists and secondary characters, man, which, although it left me with a high degree of depression (Shigechi, Iggy, Avdol :''''v), I must say made the situations and fights completely adrenaline-filled. I was stressed out in every season, not knowing who they were going to kill off in each episode. The death that hit me the hardest was Shigechi's; the final moment gave me so much anxiety, and the fact that he ended up dying just before telling his friends... Now, my favorite fight was Everyone vs. Father Pucci, my favorite stands were Silver Chariot and Crazy Diamond, my favorite villain was Pucci, my favorite Jojo was all of them (Especially Josuke), my favorite jobros were Polnareff and Koichi, and lastly, my favorite season was Stone Ocean. The only thing I didn't like is that now I'm left wanting more. I could describe my experience with the following phrase: I don't know what I'm watching, but I can't stop watching it. What a great series.

*Her maiden name is Cassiopia Parton. she's named after a constelation to go with jotaro's prevalent star themeing.

*when she met Jotaro, she was a pushover. basically she was like that girl that followed the mean popular girl around and compliments her no matter how mean her 'best freind' is.

*broken family, not in good relations with both parents

*dad jokes, that's her humour and how she seduced jotaro

*Joestars was the closest to family, she doesnt know about giorno though.

*she, jotaro and jolyne visited morioh a little after the events of DiU.

*In a date gone horribly wrong, thanks to an enemy stand user, she and jotaro nearly die.

*after a night of torture under the hands of the user, the couple was saved by josuke who came to investigate

*they were meant to pick jolyne up earlier and josuke had a bad feeling. he heals them after beating tha bad-guy up.

*jotaro had the memories erased form her after convincing rohan, he stayed away from his faily after the incident.

*she was the one who asked for a divorce. this caused jotaro to have mixed feeling because:

1) it's a divorce

2) she's standing up for herself and not allowing his absence to hurt her any further

3)he didnt realise he was hurting her and felt guilty, but also realised that this was the safest option for both cassiopia and jolyne.

*she's an astronomer and works for the Kennedy Space Center, she wasnt in florida for most of stone ocean however.

*jotaro had the foundation move her to one of passione's bases, where she could be safegaurded by some of Giorno's most trusted gaurds.

*she was confused as to why her Marine-Biologist husband, who's the son of a jazz musician, and grandson a realestate agent, has access to the resourses of such a prestigious company, and also has ties with the mafia.

*she was desperatly trying to call Jotaro when time started to speed up.

DIO'S CHARACTERIZATION: A JOJO'S BIZARRER ADVENTURE CHARACTER ANALYSIS/RANT

frankly, even before the p6 anime came out and i saw Part 6 DIO, i never really liked part 3's DIO. in p3, DIO is similar to the Dio Brando that we know, sure. but mostly, he's a two-dimensional guy. DIO captures the ESSENCE of Dio, sure. but none of the three-dimensionality of Dio. Dio in Phantom Blood was a complicated character, he was human. he had flaws, a drinking problem inherited from his father, a raw hatred of his father and humanity that got in the way of his plans. his mother was driven to suicide because of how badly Dio's father abused her, causing Dio to spit on his grave (as he should).

DIO however.. sure, he has the philosopher side of Dio we see in Phantom Blood when he isn't fighting Jonathan. sure, he has the raw cruel freedom that Dio exercises upon others.. but he's just a shell, a base level version of that. for some reason, most people prefer DIO (I cannot see why, really. he's way less of an interesting character to study, even if he has his moments.), so when part 6 comes around and elaborates on DIO's motives, people see it as out of character, when in reality, it's just expanding on Dio's character, which DIO should have done a long time ago. hell, in part 3, DIO even talks about peace of mind extensively to Polnareff on the stairs, so while Araki wrote this strange shell of Dio at the time, even then he had DIO's true goals and desires in his head. I really wish we got more DIO screentime back in part 3, and, at times, cut to DIO's POV.

that reminds me, back in p1, Dio was more of a deuteragonist than an antagonist. we always did cut to his perspective and see what he was up to, and follow him as our POV character. i wish we got that in part 3. imagine if we cut to DIO in p3 while the crusaders were journeying, and saw his blossoming friendship with Pucci? those scenes that had to be sprinkled throughout Stone Ocean to make Pucci a more comprehensible character and for us to further understand DIO's goals.. if we just had that in part 3, i feel like part 3's DIO could of been a much better character. plus, none of the reveals in p6 would have been ruined either, just don't show Pucci's pov with Weather and Perla and stuff.. i personally would have loved it.
