Joy of Life challenge Gen 1

Hello hello, welcome to my gameplay of the joy of life challenge series here on tumblr!

Here's my GEN 1 for this JOL series and her name is Sarah Penn. She bakes for a living in Oasis Springs. Her childhood consists of her smelling freshly baked cookies and warm milk, fresh butter cakes and many other baked goods that was baked by her grandma.

She doesn't really know her parents that well, she doesn't even know how they look like. One day Grandma Penn got a knock on a door while living on her farm in Henford and Bagley and there she was, tucked in a basket with the blanket slightly above her mouth. With Sarah, there was a note from Sarah's parents saying : Dear Mom, Sorry it has to be this way but me Jerald and Amelia could not take care of Sarah any longer due to our financial struggles. Please do not think that we are abandoning her but in fact tell Sarah that you picked her up on the streets one day and couldn't find her parents. This is to prevent any sort of hatred built up from Sarah. Mom, please I'm begging you to take care of Sarah and give her these set of cookie earrings that Amelia picked out. Love Jerald.

Growing up Sarah had what a normal childhood looks like. Going to school, helping Grandma prepare baked goods and taking care of some cows and chickens. A few days after Sarah reached Young Adulthood, Grandma Penn passed due to the lack of medical help in Henford and Bagley and gave Sarah 80,000 Simoleans that she has saved up for Sarah. Sarah used that money to buy a house in Oasis Springs as there was where Grandma Penn used to grow up (but chose to live in Henford and Bagley due to its quiet nature)

Meet Madeleine Sevilla. A 20-something aspiring pastry chef who's a foodie, romantic, and family-oriented. She will be the founding sim for a casual gameplay of @simelune's the joy of life challenge. Dipping my toes back into the game with something that doesn't require too much planning; kind of letting the game do its thing while having a goal and overarching story in mind.

Generation One: The Baking Extraordinaire.

There was a warmth and coziness in rolling out dough, mixing up frosting, creating masterpieces with a piping bag. Most of your days are spent whipping up new creations in the kitchen, enjoying the smell of a delicious apple pie baking in the oven. You dream of having everyone know your name and saying "their cupcakes are the best I've ever had!"

Like many millennials who drink §7 oat milk lattes, Madeleine was priced out of a house in the city. Sure, she could probably afford a tiny shoebox in the sky but those places could never fit a full kitchen. So she gathered up every last simoleon in her savings to place a down payment on an abandoned villa in Tartosa. Sure, the structure is in disrepair and the fixtures are in dire need of updating; but the views are simply unparalleled. And the kitchen has a full-size oven!
