now i believe it is time to elaborate a little on the subject (everyone in this au is just so chaotic)
• there is one particular rule that not a single meeting of les amis fails to follow — the musicians always complain about professor javert. they literally cannot shut up.
• the artists could never understand their complaints, however, because valjean is such an amazing mentor — he never shouts, never makes any negative remarks, only gives soft suggestions and guidance. and they all respect him greatly, because he really is a professional, to that extent that he can interpret the rules in his own way.
• still, grantaire is systematically late for plein-airs, his hair and clothes in horrible disarray, his head still dizzy from the previous night’s party, but no one can blame him, honestly, because, despite his absolute lack of self-discipline, he somehow manages to get good grades (and not only because of valjean’s soft-heartedness and compassion. i swear.)
• enjolras is always pissed because everyone thinks he follows javert’s instructions blindly at the rehearsals — but he doesn’t, they just have very similar understanding of how an orchestra should work (although, of course, enjolras is more inclined to suggestions from the members, whereas javert is merciless towards ones who ‘cannot even play their part right’). enjolras always stands up for his colleagues, but honestly he never succeeds, for javert’s authority and experience are unquestionable.
• marius is always late for the rehearsals. there have been endless times combeferre sat in his chair in cold sweat, white-knuckled grip on his violin and the bow, knowing that javert will definitely notice poor bloke’s absence and then it will be over for them all.
• during the classes grantaire draws endless portraits of enjolras instead of actual assignments. valjean only sighs at this.
• marius and courfeyrac share an apartment and this is actually so terrible because marius is helpless and courfeyrac is irresponsible but the latter still manages to do the chores while the former is locked in his room for hours staring blankly at the wall. occasionally courfeyrac knocks on his door to bring him some dinner made of the leftovers from the fridge. marius answers with extremely sad and honestly pathetic violin solo.
• joly and lesgles also share an apartment, but in a completely different way. bossuet’s room is a mess and his shirt stains the moment he pulls it out of the laundry, joly cleans the flat in its entirety at least twice a week. bossuet breaks a cup or a plate on a regular basis and burns the pans, joly cooks the most healthy and hearty dinner one can imagine, leaving the kitchen counter perfectly clean. bossuet is always late to classes even if they leave the flat together. bossuet cuts his finger and doesn’t do anything about it, joly shows him a video with horrifying outcome of not washing your fruits properly. sometimes while watching something they fall asleep together in joly’s room, and for once bossuet doesn’t fall from the bed and joly is totally okay with being so close to another human being.
• feuilly made an installation of powstanie listopadowe for his term project. then bossuet ruined it while just walking past it on the exhibition and feuilly was swearing at him in polish for good fifteen minutes.
• combeferre is the one who prints out the scores for the whole orchestra. sometimes he forgets which one was the original — with all the marks javert left for every party — and spends the whole night copying the marks with his own hand. sometimes he hates being a concertmaster, but in the end he does it all out of good will only.
• sometimes when a meeting is over, enjolras and combeferre wait patiently (or not, if courfeyrac and grantaire are too enthusiastic to spend a little more time with them) until everyone takes a bus or a train home, and then they just wonder aimlessly through the streets, discussing everything and nothing in particular. sometimes they talk eagerly to the very break of dawn, and then they still have to show up for the rehearsal strictly at nine o’clock.
there is more to come! in the next post i will probably write about valvert because i love them dearly and of course they are insane even here.

Finally got around to watching the Eternals, so spoilers I guess if you haven’t seen it.
Tumblr media
First of all, the quizzes I took that say I’m a mixture of Dan Whitman and Sersi… accurate as fuck. I adore them both very much.
Gotta say, I’m kinda jealous of whatever gender Sprite has going on. But in all honesty I feel bad for them. Kingo’s whole Peter Pan speech actually made me feel bad. When Sprite said “Why did Arishem make me this way?” I actually choked up a bit. Like I’m so sorry he failed you kiddo. I’ve thought about it many times when I think about vampire lore, but imagine how much it would suck to be seen as a child for all eternity. When you’re literally thousands of years older than anyone currently around you.
Fucking Gilgamesh was the light of my fucking life. He is the best part of this movie and I will die on that fucking hill. It’s bullshit what they did to him. Ajax didn’t hit me that hard because we don’t get to know her nearly as much. But god fucking Damn it, give me my boy back.
Side note, I don’t really like Kingo that much. I just don’t think our personalities gel well. In all honestly, despite how much talent he clearly has, I’m not really a fan of any of that actors characters. I just don’t like the way his character didn’t take anything seriously.
Thena killed me. I’m a sucker for all Angelina Jolie characters. But imagine slowly loosing your mind and being forced to try and kill the people you love most in the world. Especially after she lost Gil, like what the duck, can she live? Can she fucking live? I wanna give my baby girl a hug.
I don’t think I have to say much about Druig, I think we all knew I’d love him. I wanna it’s Barry Keoghan. I’ve been mimicking his stupid adorable accent this whole movie! I think mind control is always one of those powers I’d be truly terrified to have. Like he tried to use them to protect people, and do the right thing. But talking away free will isn’t right. Also the way he flirts with Makkari 🥺 I want that.
I’ll make Phatos and Sersi quick. They are Both adorable and I love them and I wish them nothing but happiness. Like Phatos and his husband and his loiter boy were so cute. God I could watch a whole movie just of them interacting. I love to see POC characters being in the main action!
Least favorite is Ikaris. I hate his stupid smug face, and that silly little hair cut. White boy coming in here and ruining the vibes. Sure his power is kinda cool or whatever. But like even before the twist of the movie, I didn’t like him from the second he showed up. Sersi and Dan are perfect, and Ikaris needs to keep his nose out of their business. Get over her man. Gross.
Now to my favourite character ever. MAKKARI! My sweet baby girl. One she’s literally the hottest person I’ve ever seen, both physically and in personality. Oh my god and the way she signs is mesmerising. I kept reminding the movie just to watch her hands move. I will always love a character who knows sign language, and I think the representation is super important.
If you guys would like any Eternal fics or headcannons let me know. Because I feel cool writing them now that I have seen their cannon interpretations outside of the comics alone.

Something different! Tiny break from all the random ones I’ve taken recently.
Name a movie starring... Survey by aussielozzie
Gary Sinise: I’ve honestly never heard of him before. The name is a *little* familiar, but I know nothing else about him.
Tom Hanks: Toy Story 1-4! The first one will always be my favorite animated movie of all time. So good.
Melanie Griffiths: I’m not familiar with her work but I do know she’s Dakota Johnson’s mom, so at least I have that going for me.
Angelina Jolie: Salt. I remember watching it with my mom at the cinema when it premiered like 10 years ago. It wouldn’t normally be my type of movie, but I was really into Angelina then so we watched it together.
Lindsay Lohan: Herbie, omg this was one of my favorites as a kid. I used to be really excited whenever it was the movie Disney was airing in the evening because they showed it so rarely.
Rachel McAdams: The Vow, The Notebook, Spotlight, Mean Girls... I love her, so I’ve seen a bunch of her films. My guilty pleasure favorite would be The Vow, but the best movie of hers that I’ve watched is Spotlight.
Brad Pitt: World War Z, I think? I barely remember that movie; I slept through it.
Cameron Diaz: Uhh the Shrek movies, but I’ve only seen the second one. Never knew she voiced Fiona until years later.
Gwyneth Paltrow: Shakespeare in Love, though I only largely know of her role because she won an Oscar for it and yet the wildly popular opinion is that she didn’y deserve to win Best Actress.
Hugh Grant: LOVE ACTUALLY ONE OF MY FAVS. I honestly really liked the storyline he was part of even though a lot of people didn’t haha, I thought he was great at playing the dorky Prime Minister.
Juliette Lewis: I know of Julia Louis-Dreyfus but not her haha, sorry. Close enough.
Johnny Depp: Edward Scissorhands. Can’t say I’m a fan of his movies, but I’m aware of a number of them just because they’ve always been popular.
Liv Tyler: Ooooh I’ve always thought she’s sooooo beautiful but I don’t think I can name one of her movies without having to look it up :(
Halle Berry: Catwoman.
Queen Latifah: Not sure if I can cite a movie of hers, I know who she is but not really familiar with anything else about her.
Sharon Stone: I’m pretty sure she’s in that movie with the famous scene of her in white with her legs crossed. I’m just not sure what the name is.
Keira Knightley: Again, Love Actually. That movie was such a hodgepodge of big Hollywood names. I’m all over it.
Tom Cruise: Eyes Wide Shut. Can’t let this survey go without a hint of Kubrick :)
Ben Affleck: Gone Girl!!!!!!!!! Intense movie that I honestly associate more with Rosamund Pike, but you asked for Ben Affleck so there ya go. He was in Good Will Hunting too, but I also associate this movie more with Matt Damon and Minnie Driver. I don’t really care for Ben, I guess lol.
Jennifer Garner: 13 Going On 30. <3 Also one of my favorites.
Demi Moore: “She’s the act-RESS that was in Disclosure, Indecent Proposal, Ghost.” Those who watch Friends will know, heheh.
Ashton Kutcher: No Strings Attached. Nothing much to share about it as I haven’t seen it.
Sandra Bullock: The Proposal – easily the best romcom ever. Would be very happy and willing to die on such a hill.
Jim Carrey: The Mask. I have a lot of fond memories laughing over this with my sister and cousins when I was much younger. But also...Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Such an important film to me.
Renee Zellweger: Bridget Jones’s Diary, but I’ve never seen it.
Nicole Kidman: Eyes Wide Shut, and the film I can’t watch more than once, The Hours. She was also in The Killing of A Sacred Deer if I remember correctly.
Eddie Murphy: Dreamgirls. I specifically remember this because I watched this movie at an age where I was supposed to be nowhere near it (only watched it for Beyoncé lol) and Eddie Murphy played a really vulgar character. He said a lot of innuendos that went over my head as a kid that I was terrified to learn about as an adult.
Mike Myers: Cat in the Hat...lol
Adam Sandler: 50 First Dates! Such a bittersweet story but still makes me feel warm and fuzzy in all the right places. :)
Ben Stiller: Night at the Museum, I think.
Keanu Reeves: John Wick, which I know nearly everyone loves but I have not seen it. Doesn’t seem like my type of movie though so I don’t know if I’ll ever plan on watching.
Hillary Swank: Million Dollar Baby. I have wanted to watch this for the longest time, idk why I never got around to it.
Kirsten Dunst: The Virgin Suicides. I’ve also been eyeing this for a while, but I’m scared off by the title tbh. I feel like it would be too triggering for me.
River Phoenix: Stand By Me.
Owen Wilson: I know he’s a Wes Anderson favorite. The Darjeeling Limited, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Royal Tenenbaums, etc.
Sean Penn: Into the Wild, but I mostly watched that movie because of Kristen Stewart ha.
Rob Schneider: Not sure if I know of any.
Will Ferrell: Same here.
Jack Black: Nacho Libre. This movie will always be embedded in my mind because I remember when I used to hang out with/babysit one of my baby cousins, my aunt (his mom) used to tell me that I’m free to pick out any movie from their movie shelf except Nacho Libre. That has stuck with me since and to this day I’m kind of scared to watch it hahahaha
John Travolta: Grease.
Toni Collette: Knives Out, Hereditary, and of course, the ever-depressing I’m Thinking of Ending Things...
Reese Witherspoon: Legally Blonde.
Uma Thurman: Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction.
Kate Winslet: Been waiting for you to drop her name ;) The Reader, Titanic, Steve Jobs, Revolutionary Road, Sense and Sensibility, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Contagion, Heavenly Creatures, the Divergent movies...and now Ammonite. I looooooooove Kate Winslet.
Kate Hudson: How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days, that I couldn’t finish because it was too corny for me.

INTRODUCING…. me.
hey, babes !! my name’s dee, and i’m very new around here. i’m twenty-three, live in the est, and use she/her pronouns. i’m a moody aquarius, chaotic neutral, and infp for those of you that are into literally anything that will tell you about your personality like me. i’m legit so painfully shy but i’m so down for plots, threads, and ships of all kinds so please bring me whatever your little hearts desire !!! i’m so stoked to be here and write with y’all it’s INSANE, and my ims are ALWAYS open for screaming about plotting, sharing headcanons, or making friends !! i only have two triggers that i feel should be mentioned and those are anything involving heavily graphic or explicit mentions of self-harm or pedophilia. otherwise, i’m good to go but please let me know if i miss something and don’t tag or give a content warning for any of your triggers !!!
INTRODUCING…. the muses.
HEATHER VINCENT, phoebe tonkin, ( 26 ) + screwtape by cane hill.
JANIE FOLEY, holland roden, ( 21 ) + disco tits by tove lo.
CARCOSA LUSK, lucy hale, ( 23 ) + ain’t no grave by johnny cash.
MICKEY ST. CLAIR, lynn gunn, ( 24 ) + soon be gone by boots.
VERONICA ST. CLAIR, carlson young, ( 21 ), + hotter than hell by dua lipa.
EVE RAYNER, holland roden, ( 27 ), + when the levee breaks by led zeppelin.
VALERIA PADILLA, eiza gonzalez, ( 27 ), + down by stone temple pilots.
MOLLY STARRETT, madelaine petsch, ( 22 ), + ultraviolence by lana del rey.
BRITNEY STARRETT, katherine mcnamara, ( 20 ), + come as you are by nirvana.
NIKKI FREY, maggie lindemann, ( 19 ), + baby i’m dead inside by kopps.
INTRODUCING…. wanted plots.
oh wOW alright so i’m gonna be basic for a second and tell y’all that i fucking love angst. i mean, fluff’s great and all, but my heart truly lies with the gritty, toxic, dysfunctional, and fucked up. i’m also a huge fan of anything having to do with crime so if you ever wanna do any crime plots come my way !!!  it’s also no secret that i’m a very big fan of age gaps ( obvs not with minors because GROSS ). but seriously, give me everything. friends or exes or enemies to lovers, two toxic people that know they should walk away from each other but can’t live without the other, criminals on the run, any kind of criminal or bad influence with pure characters that have hearts made of gold, characters that go through something horrible together and become each other’s lifeline because they’re the only ones that understand, secret and / or taboo relationships, slowburn and unrequited love, exes that reconnect under literally any kind of circumstances, etc. i’ll link some good examples of my favorite plots so you can get a feel for what i’m describing !!!
x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x, x are all some ( hopefully ) pretty good examples !!
i’m also always down for plots away from the romantic side of things. i LOVE giving my characters ride or dies, enemies, exes, family, or anything else you can think of. the more unique the connection the better !! legit one of the best relationships i ever played out in an rp was between carcosa and another girl. totally platonic, but it was such a rich and fucked up dynamic that was full of toxicity and power struggles and manipulation and backstabbing, but also drunken benders and risky adventures and late night confessions, and those were easily some of the funnest threads and plotting sessions i’ve ever had. so please, like i said, give me all of the connections.
INTRODUCING…. the favorites.
i’m totally gonna break this down into quick lil sections because i have a lot of favorite things lmao so here you go !!!
SHIPS
tbh i have so many favorite crackships so pls don’t even get me started on those ?? but i love both f/f and m/f ships and have absolutely zero preference when it comes to which one we do. i’m also a huge fan of poly ships and i’ll never say no to having multiple ships/plots/threads with the same person. i’m very much a multi-ship kinda gal so as long as it’s cool with my writing partner(s) i tend to assume each ship is in it’s own little verse unless otherwise discussed. though i’m totally down for and love ic drama so don’t be afraid to approach me about ships existing in the same timeline !! i’m a fan of everything from the sickly sweet and fluffy to the fucked up, toxic, and angsty so just give me all of the ships because tbh i’m a slut for ‘em.
FACES
alright so some of my favorite faces to play are holland roden, lucy hale, phoebe tonkin, eiza gonzalez, madelaine petsch, katherine mcnamara, dove cameron, halsey, emma greenwell, maggie lindemann, emmy rossum, madison davenport, lynn gunn, vanessa morgan, carlson young, deborah ann woll, and maggie siff. some of my favorite ladies to play against are zoey deutch, lindsey morgan, kat graham, vanessa morgan, dua lipa, eliza taylor, adelaide kane, candice patton, dove cameron, arden cho, chloe bennet, vanessa hudgens, danielle campbell, ashley benson, margot robbie, blake lively, ginny gardner, angelina jolie, emeraude toubia, meghan markle, and zoe kravitz. some of my favorite fellas to play against are charlie hunnam, jon bernthal, dj cotrona, charles melton, manny montana, oscar isaac, andy biersack, andrew lincoln, chris evans, bob morley, garrett hedlund, tom hardy, jason momoa, tyler posey, michael b. jordan, frank grillo, jeffrey dean morgan, dom sherwood, jensen ackles, skeet ulrich, and froy gutierrez.
EXTRAS
just for fun, here’s a mismatched list of some of my favorite things across the board !! snakes, glitter, the colors purple, teal, and black, dogs, iced coffee, horror movies, outlaw bikers, drag queens, classic rock, vinyl records, bath and body works, geodes, mexican food, pulp fiction, the moon and stars, tattoos, neon lights, iasip, succulents and cacti, richard siken, candles, myths and folklore, metallic lipstick, sons of anarchy, and concerts.
INTRODUCING…. future plans.
tbh i hope to get a lot of things out of this group. i’m hoping to find a safe space to let my creativity run wild and a home for my muses where they can constantly grow and develop through interactions with other characters, in-depth plots, and my own exploration the more i write with them. i’m also hoping this will be a good opportunity to make friends, since i’m very much a loner and some of the best people i’ve met have been through the world of roleplaying. i definitely want to push my muses and challenge myself to be a better writer here, and i hope to help out those of you that are seeking the same things in your journey !! i’m already planning on adding some more muses in the very near future ( because i have ZERO impulse control ), and as far as future plans for plots go i want EVERYTHING. romantic, enemies, exes, familial, platonic, and literally anything in between. i would definitely love some slowburn ships where our characters don’t just fall in love overnight. i’d also be so down for exploring the dynamics of age gap relationships. not just the taboo aspect of them but like the differences in generations, the potential repercussions, the ups and downs and the times where they’re not sure if they can make it work.
INTRODUCING…. why i said fuck it.
i mean who hasn’t felt like saying fuck it to the rpc ??? i’ve been rping for several years, about six of those years have been on tumblr and as much love as i can have for this community at times, most days it’s just fucking exhausting. i feel like it’s mostly become a very toxic, judgmental, and honestly shallow place. i hate the expectation groups put on members these days with activity checks and whatnot because honestly who even has the time to write every single day ????? or y’know sometimes we just don’t feel like it ?????? i know for me personally between my mental health and irl responsibilities i just don’t have the time or energy to be on every two days. and plus a lot of them are cliquey af or die in a week or are riddled with petty drama so i tend to avoid them altogether. i joined the indie community in hopes of rping on my terms and while i def feel like that was a step in the right direction, it’s still a very exclusive community at times and i’ve had difficulty fitting in. there’s still a lot of ugliness towards female ocs or muns that exclusively play females and tbh i’m over it ??? i decided to give this group a try because i love the idea of the indie format but in a group, making it easier to plot with people and put yourself out there. tl;dr i decided to say fuck it because the community’s gone downhill and i needed a change.
