JIG and Wyatt Hart?!?!
This morning I had a dream where I/ maybe a self insert was in a Jennifer and Johnathan Hart type relationship with some man named Wyatt who looked a bit like Johnathan Hart but not really, he was younger and had a different hair color/body type …anyway he was a self made millionaire and was in his early 40s, and I was my age (27), and we were crime fighters like Jennifer and Jonathan and had a passionate romantic relationship like them as well 😂.
Maybe I dreamed it because people have been trying to set me up with 40 year old men, I don’t know. It was quite the interesting dream though 😆. If I had the energy I’d write it out…

For @whatsabriard, who mentioned something in the group chat that I couldn't stop thinking about
Monday dawned harshly on Jennifer Edwards and Jonathan Hart.
Despite their early-morning responsibilities, they couldn’t resist getting lost in each other just one more time the night before, and now, as they rolled out of the same side of the bed, their penance began. On her way to the bathroom, Jennifer felt Jonathan’s eyes on her as she stretched, his pajama shirt riding up her thighs, but she didn’t dare look back, knowing the hunger she’d find in his eyes. One of them had to exercise self-control. She flicked on the portable radio on her side of the counter, hoping to be energized by a peppy song or two before she ventured out of their bedroom to find coffee.
“Do you want to shower first, darling?” Jonathan asked, leaning down to splash cold water on his face.
Disappointed to only find the traffic report to entertain her, Jennifer squeezed a dollop of toothpaste on her toothbrush. “Thanks, baby, but your meeting is before my interview at the museum.” Still, Jonathan dallied as she brushed her teeth, setting out his shaving kit and brushing his own teeth. When she finished, she saw Jonathan’s reflection in the mirror as he glided toward her, and suppressed a smile. “Hey, buster,” she teased. “No funny business.”
Jonathan assumed his favorite innocuous position, with his arms wrapped around her middle and his nose buried in her hair and neck, breathing her in. “Nothing funny. I just want to hold you for a minute. We didn’t get much time in bed this morning.”
Reaching behind her to comb her fingers through his hair, Jennifer giggled. “We spent too much time in bed in the early morning, darling.”
Jonathan frowned at a mark on Jennifer’s neck and kissed it gently. “You know what I mean.”
Jennifer loved it when Jonathan woke up like this, soft and clingy and exceptionally affectionate, but they didn’t have time to relish. “Darling, go get it in the shower. The sooner we get this day going, the sooner we can come home.” As a consolation, she scratched his scalp once more before letting go, and kissed one of his hands as his arms fell from her waist. “I love you.”
After three months of showing and telling him every day, Jennifer’s declaration of love still lit up Jonathan’s face. “I love you, too.”
Just as Jennifer turned to brush her hair, a familiar tune replaced the monotonous voices from before. “Oh!” she gasped, clutching her brush. “I love this song.” Thinking Jonathan had already rounded the corner to the shower, she started to sway her hips and sing softly as she combed the tangles out of her hair. As she neared the chorus, she caught movement in her peripheral vision and found Jonathan leaning against the wall, arms crossed over his chest and grinning.
Jennifer was not deterred.
On impulse, she brought the brush to her lips and unbuttoned the top button on his pajama top, beaming when a slack-jawed stare replaced Jonathan’s grin. “Because we’re goin’ to the chapel, and we’re gonna get married. Goin’ to the chapel and we’re gonna get married. Gee I really love you, and we’re gonna get married. Goin’ to the chapel of love.”
She’d danced over to him by now, shaking out her tamed hair, interrupted only once by a brief fit of giggles, and stopped for a quick kiss before loosening another button and backing out of the bathroom.
This time, Jonathan caught on quickly and followed her.
Jennifer squealed and laughed as Jonathan grabbed for her, and slipped just out of reach. “Bells will ring, the sun will shine, whoa. I'll be his and he'll be mine. We'll love until the end of time, and we'll never be lonely anymore.” Backed against the edge of the bed, Jennifer had no choice but to let Jonathan grab her rocking hips and tackle her onto the bed. Laughing hysterically, they rolled around until Jennifer achieved victory by pinning him beneath her and holding his arms down by his wrists.
“Ha! I win!”
“Congratulations,” Jonathan teased, his voice dripping his with sarcasm. When Jennifer released his hands, he pulled her closer to him and roved his hands over her back, his expression suddenly more somber. “How does the end go?”
Jennifer gazed into her fiancé’s eyes, the eyes of a man who had once been a boy who thought no one would ever want him. “We’ll never be lonely anymore,” she whispered, tracing his cheek with the backs of her fingers. Suddenly, nothing seemed more important than making him believe her, beyond a shadow of a doubt, so when she kissed him in a way that more than conveyed her determination, she thought, To hell with the meetings. We’re gonna get married.
