💠 Jongin is the first human trollhunter.

💠 The new wielder of Excalibur.

💠 A student of Arcadia Oaks High.

💠 The leader of Team Trollhunters.

💠 Co-leader of the Guardians of Arcadia.

💠 Around his 5th birthday, Jongin’s father walked out on him and his mother.

💠 He grew up with his mother telling him that they needed to take better care of each other, but Jongin has cared for his mother ever since.

💠 Jongin first came across the amulet in the canals, the Amulet of Daylight in the rubble of Kanjigar’s body, the amulet that chose him.

“For the glory of Merlin, Daylight is mine to command!"

💠 Jongin is shown being the caretaker around the house, cooking meals for himself and his mother.

💠 Despite it being his mother’s job to take care of him, he likes taking care of her because of how much work she does as a doctor.

💠 He’s an all around cool guy, because he just wants people to like him.

💠 Jongin can get nervous often, shown when he was nervous to accept his new position as Trollhunters and haven never been in a before.

💠 However, when he perseveres and tries- despite his fear- he can succeed in his job.

💠 But as he gains more self-defensive instincts he became somewhat brave to walk head first into a fight.

💠 Jongin is very protective of his loved ones, to the point where he might be considered overprotective.

💠 To keep his loved ones safe, he will often try to keep them out of the fight and finish it alone- taking too many risks to keep them safe.

💠 Jongin is willing to lie to his mom about his toll hunting to keep her from worrying about him.

💠 That always puts a big strain on their formerly close relationship, but Jongin does it nonetheless because he believes that’s it’s best she doesn’t know or get involved.

💠 Jongi is also a bit of the jealous type.

💠 After being chosen by the Amulet of Daylight, Jongin was able to summon his armor and weapons.

💠 Jongin is able to manipulate his armor in any way he desires, including his sword, glaives, shield, and helmet.

💠 Jongin’s armor is made of pure daylight, so therefore possesses magical properties to protect him.

💠 Thanks to his magical armor, Jongin has been seen taking hits that would have almost certainly broken an ordinary person's bones.

💠 After cleaving the Birthstone, Jongin gains the ability to summon two glaives from his thighs, which act a lot like boomerangs and respond to his command.

💠 After faceting the Killstone, Jongin gains the ability to summon a warrior's shield on his left forearm, which protects him from most attacks.

💠 After compressing the Eye of Gunmar, Jongin gains the ability to summon a large helmet, which protects him from lethal damage and Gunmar's Decimaar Blade.

💠 He can also open and close it with his thoughts.

💠 With his sword, Jognin is able to create a barrier around himself to temporarily protect himself from harm.

💠 At his most powerful, Jongin was able to release wave of pure daylight to repel Gunmar and Angor Rot's blades away from him (as well as petrify a couple of Gumm-Gumms and blow a car several feet away)

💠 With his amulet, Jongin is able to detect any supernatural creatures, but limited if they are around his area.

💠 However, given the amulet responses differently with Jongin (due to being human), this ability is usually unreliable and/or unpredictable.

💠 After cutting the Eye of Angor Rot and placing it into his amulet, Jognin gained the ability to ward off Angor's magics.
