so basically i just want to know if there’re goldenness here (and please let them be rps. silly little me likes to stay in their comfort zone).

now listen, i’ve been in and out of the kpop for a while. stray kids were my only constant for the past two years.

but i realized today that somehow my biases are the caretakers of the groups they’re in. i had no intention of this happening. of course looks are the first bit of appeal, but i think the reason i cling to who i cling to is because of how the member acts with the others. i value protection. i value responsibility (i lack this usually). i value empathy. i value fun parent vibes.

so here are my biases:

skz - bang chan, best leader. he rallies his troops & is always there to say the most motivational (& cheesiest) stuff. he’s dad vibes through & through. felix also is like this. he’s very mature & he’s constantly playing hype man to every member. very soft spoken & very selfless.

xdinary heroes - o.de (seungmin) is so crazy. but he’s always the one that looks over the other members. there’s countless times when he’s adjusting other people’s masks or clothes. he keeps track of time & wants everyone to eat & get enough rest. very much mom vibes. & he’s just a sweetheart. & gunil is totally an embarrassing dad!

enhypen - jay now, it’s no secret that jay is hot. BUT this man is well rounded. he cooks really well. he is always quick to take care of ni.ki & i could even say he’s hyper aware of being a role model for him. i just love how he treats the younger members of the group. he, like bang chan, is cheesy. & like a classic dad, makes the whole group laugh only when he isn’t trying.

txt - beomgyu this one doesn’t make sense, but i included it anyhow. gyu is straight crackhead energy, so i don’t know how well he fits here. same with baby boy kai, i love him, but he also doesn’t give off these vibes.

Cozy Winter Night [Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, and Shindong]

Hopefully this is the last move I have to make. This is the only Super Junior reaction I will do

Leeteuk

Leeteuk had called his girlfriend, Melissa, earlier in the day to see what she wanted to do after he got off work. It was their third wedding anniversary with him and Leeteuk wanted to spoil her.

“Want to go out for dinner? What are you thinking? Italian? Traditional?”

She smiled as she walked through the grocery store for ingredients, “No. I can make us something, but maybe afterwards we can go for a walk. It’s supposed to be fairly warmer tonight.”

He thought for a moment before he nodded, “Sure, love.” He smiled and he was excited. “See you tonight.”

“See you. Love you” she hung up and continued down the rows.

That night, he came home to the smell of food. “Babe?”

“Kitchen!” Melissa shouted as she put the food in the oven.

Leeteuk walked inside the kitchen and kissed her cheek before he held out a bouquet of roses in front of him, “These are for you. Happy anniversary.”

Melissa grinned as she took the flowers and pecked his lips, “Happy anniversary. I love these” she smelled the roses and took in their scent. “Could you get me a vase? Dinner will be done in a bit.” Leeteuk hummed his reply as he got a vase down for the roses.

After dinner, Leeteuk and Melissa went out for a walk. She talked about her day as he did his. They fell into a comfortable silence before Leeteuk stopped and took her in his arms preventing her from moving further. “I wanted to ask you something, love?” His arms rested around her midsection as he clung to her.

She hummed as she looked back at him, “What’s up?”

He had a serious look on his face as he continued, “What do you think of expanding us?”

“Expanding?“

“As in, about having kids. We’ve been married for three years. Do you think we’re ready to expand our family of two to maybe like three or four?”

Melissa’s eyes lit up and she smiled brightly, “Really?” He nodded, “Yes! That would be amazing!” She turned in his arms and hugged him tightly. Leeteuk pressed his lips to hers quickly before the two continued their walk as they planned for the future.

Heechul

The last time Juliet saw or heard from Heechul was a week ago when they got into an argument. Juliet couldn’t even remember what the argument was about which was disheartening as it led to Heechul leaving their shared home. Words were exchanged. Words that shouldn’t have crossed between them, but that didn’t change the fact that it happened. Juliet felt regret for things she said, but she couldn’t bring herself to call or text him first. She didn’t even know where he was, but she didn’t want to message him while he was still pissed. He could get pissed enough to want a divorce and that was something Juliet didn’t want to push.

Heechul waited by the phone for her. He wanted her to call him first. He wanted to be home with her again, but he feared showing up would escalate the situation.

He let out a sigh as Leeteuk looked up from his book. “If you’re this upset, go to her. I’m tired of hearing you sigh.”

“Be a good friend. I’m hurting, man.”

Leeteuk shut his book as he pressed his fingers to the bridge of his nose, “Have you ever stopped to think of how stupid you two are being? What was this argument even about?” Heechul shrugged. “So you have no idea what it was which means it was something small and petty. Look, I’m just saying, I wouldn’t want my wife to be alone for a day let alone a week. I could just see her begin to question if I plan to leave her or if I love her.”

“But I do love Juliet!” Heechul snapped. He sat up off the couch, “I love her… then what the hell am I still doing here?”

“That’s what I’m questioning too.” Heechul didn’t answer as he threw on his sweater and rushed out the door to their apartment. “YOU’RE WELCOME!”

Juliet made her way back home with her groceries in hand. She shivered as the winter breeze blew against her. As she made her way to her apartment complex, she noticed the man’s silhouette at the crosswalk she crossed to go home. “Heechul?” He turned towards her and gave her a shy wave before he looked down. “Why’re you here? I thought you were leaving forever…”

Heechul cringed, “I went home, but you weren’t there, so I waited here to see if you’d come back… I should never have said that. I can’t live without you… I’m sorry. I can’t say I remember why we argued, but I’m sorry. I love you. I missed you.” Juliet approached him, set her groceries down, and threw her arms around his neck. Heechul immediately threw his arms around her waist and took in her scent. “I missed this.” The winter cold felt like it melted as he held her warm body.

“I missed you…” She sniffled. “I was so scared… I thought we’d be over for sure.”

Heechul pulled back from her and gave her a quick peck, “Never. No, I wouldn’t leave you.” They untangled themselves and Juliet went to pick up her groceries only for Heechul to grab them first. He held out his hand for her to take and the two walked the rest of the way to their apartment together. The cold winter air no longer caused them any discomfort.

Yesung

Yesung wrapped his arm around his wife, Sumin. His hand rested on her baby bump as she scooted closer to him. It was a cold winter night and even with their heat, it was still chilly. “What movie do you wanna watch, love?” He asked as he buried his head in the crook of her neck.

“Hmmm…” Sumin tapped her chin, “Maybe Mulan? I really want to watch a kid movie.”

Yesung laughed, “Really? What’s next? We wear onesies?”

“Well now that you mention that… Hold on!” She left his grasp and went to the bedroom. She returned only moment later wearing a onesie. Yesung was shocked as he stared at his wife before he let out a laugh. “You like?”

"It’s cute, my love. Definitely fits you.” He sat up and held out his hand. She took his hand and he pulled her back to his arms, “You feel warm.”

“I got you one too” she smiled. “Then when Jooseung is born, we could be a matching set because he has one too.”

Yesung kissed her lips before he stood up, “Guess I’ll go put mine on then we can watch Mulan?”

“Nah, I’m feeling more towards The Little Mermaid. Hurry.” She flipped through the movies as he headed off to get his onesie. Once he got it on, he returned to her side and cuddled on the sofa once more as she played the movie.

Shindong

It had been some time since Shindong and Rachel were able to relax at home together since Super Junior’s comeback and promotion. Today was his first day off and he had decided to spend every moment with her. They spent the afternoon out in the falling snow, grabbed some coffee at a local café, and returned to the snow throwing it at one another.

They returned home and took a shower to warm up and ate dinner. Shindong walked into the living room to see Rachel on the couch buried under covers. “Want some hot cocoa?”

She let out a groan, “That sounds so great! Do we have marshmallows?”

“We do. I’ll make us the cocoa, you find us a movie, okay?�� Rachel nodded as she looked through the movie list. Shindong made their hot chocolate and added in extra marshmallows in Rachel’s mug. He returned to the living room and handed her the mug before he sat beside her. Rachel cuddled against him, her legs thrown over his.

“Cheers” she held up her mug and he tapped his against it before she took a sip. “Mmmm, this is heavenly.”

Shindong pulled her closer and he draped the covers over their legs, “This entire day was heavenly” he replied. He gave her a quick peck before they turned their attention to the tv and played the movie.

Feng and Seonggwang

You might’ve noticed Feng and Seonggwang’s names being tossed around a bit by both @thosewhowearmasks‘s Seonhwa as well as my Daeyoung. Who are Feng and Seonggwang, exactly, you might ask? 

Trigger warnings ahead for attempted suicide. 

Seonggwang is a pathologist and coroner, being the direct superior to Proxy’s oldest son, Jooseung. Hardy and extremely stubborn, Seonggwang’s past was pockmarked with close shaves with juvenile homes as well as a traumatic shuttle from foster home to foster home due to losing his home in a fire that killed most of the residents as well- it was widely believed Seonggwang was the sole survivor in said fire, which was eventually revealed as the ploy by a greedy businessman eager to expand into the area that resorted to arson to get his way by hook or by crook. 

After realising he had been complicit in events leading to the injuries of his now-ex best friend, Seonggwang attempted suicide from overdose but survived. Developing meningitis in the process, he became hard on hearing as a result, and feeling despondent, he took up the offer of Seonwoo, an enterprising psychologist to take on a project of a lifetime of becoming a caretaker for a fellow abuse victim, training to become a nurse. Seonggwang is prickly and difficult to get along with, but he has a soft spot for Feng and is exceptionally gentle with the other, often sticking around Feng’s side. 

Feng, however, is Seonggwang’s charge, a stark contrast to his caretaker and a baker. A childlike man who sustained a traumatic brain injury from being assaulted, Feng was once a ruthless mafia boss who targeted young high school students for drug sales, who was then sent to a medically neglectful and abusive nursing home where he was mistreated for several years. Unable to understand what was happening to him, Feng grew averse to touch and developed a deep phobia for needles, loud noises and dark, tight spaces. After being rescued by a curious psychologist (being Seonwoo), who sought to study the effects of such abuse to his injury, he was sent to Seonggwang and soon bonded easily with the prickly man. 

Feng has the cognitive age and understanding of an 8 year old, and carries an Angry Bird soft toy around as his comfort item, which he calls ‘Bombbird’. Separating him from Bombbird if one isn’t Seonggwang causes an immediate panic attack. Feng is mostly unable to walk beyond shuffling a few steps and falling down, which doesn’t faze him in the slightest. Highly affectionate and docile, Feng is friendly generally to others and is often playful, trusting to the point of complete naïveté. He is, however, quite independent despite these shortcomings, often traveling around on his own with a bright eyed curiosity of his surroundings. One of Feng’s favourite topics is to discuss his beloved wife, Jiafan, and he often seems to care deeply about their current separation due to his wife currently being overseas. 

To facilitate things, Seonggwang and Feng moved into a comfortable, quiet area with enough space for Feng’s wheelchair to move around. It just so happened to be next door to Doyoung’s brother, Jaeho @pxtcher and the families soon hit it off with their equally curious charges. When Doyoung brought Seonhwa and Daeyoung over to Jaeho’s so that the children could mingle with Ra-il, Feng soon became curious of the new children and became fast friends with Seonhwa, the duo bonding over their inability to communicate and love for cuddling. Feng, happy to be paid attention to, soon taught the children how to bake, having learnt his culinary craft from a famous baker who had disappeared to obscurity despising her fame. 

Both Seonhwa and Daeyoung adore their uncle Feng, often going to their uncle for pastry advice, and I guess that’s pretty awesome for a pair of NPCs.
