okie so start off ,, ya boy jamie was a pure accident if we gonna be honest here .. his dad ( miles ) owns a string of popular private country clubs within south carolina, north carolina, and georgia that have been in his family for a long time with a strong dedicated membership and his mom ( evangeline ) who is uhhh ,, kinda younger than miles by a few years and was working the summer at one of his country clubs in hilton head as an events coordinator for kids when the two met

it was kind of like instant attraction when miles and evangeline met even though he was about 32 and she was 24 and u know ,, miles was engaged but anywho !!! askew moral compass aside . evangeline tried to keep it professional and bc u know , miles was about to be married but eventually the two fell together two months later much to obvious dismay of miles’ fiancée demetria

jamie adores his mom bc she’s a bit of a free spirit who is a bit of a hippie and believes strongly in astrology and ‘looks to the stars for guidance’ kind of jazz and v much a lives in the moment type of person ,, but she definitely fell in love for the first time when she met miles and let him extend her time position at the country club when they started their affair

miles absolutely loved evangeline and wanted to marry her but he had a family obligation to demetria and her parents with his own parents that he was willing to risk but that window of opportunity shut when it turns out evangeline was pregnant with jamie

so yeah ,, for the best evangeline parts with miles bc she figures it wasn’t their time so she leaves the country club and moves her and jamie down to carina bay where she has family and starts up her own apothecary business based on botanical medicines with a wide range of self-made lines from herbal teas, bath & body supplies, medicine & aromatherapy ,, smth of which she is v proud of bc she put herself through college for botanical medicine and saved up money through odd jobs to open it , plus u know miles helped contribute despite her arguments against it

jamie has an odd relationship with his dad ,, doesn’t really mind and is p chill about the whole situation despite it all .. he visits when he can and especially on birthdays ,, pays more than needed in child support bc he isn’t there as much as he’d like and adores jamie .. we stan a present father figure in this household !!! when jamie was about 7 miles opened a new country club outside of jersey city so he has more reason to come up to visit despite demetria and their family being v frustrated

jamie’s mom always described him as an unexpected bundle of joy bc he was always such a giggly and calm baby and that definitely transfers well over to his personality now bc he’s just v laidback and doesn’t take life too seriously ?? which his mom’s temperament def rubbed off on jamie and kind of floated through life easily

the best i can describe it is just .. serena van der woodsen from gossip girl ?? bc jamie is overall a lovely person who’s incredibly nice and means well and can be v charming with his words and smile n dimples ,, so he unknowingly can have people wrapped around his finger without trying ?? occasionally takes advantage of it at times but not much , but things just come easy to him and opportunities just fall into his lap that seem easy to others

for as lax as his mom was in raising jamie, he ended up p tame compared to what he could’ve gotten up to with drinking and drugs .. essentially minded his own business and basically grew up helping his mom out at her apothecary and wandering around carina bay whether it be at the beach or an arcade or just out running , drinks occasionally but generally doesn’t make it a habit

him and his mom were well off bc of how much child support miles gave them so he attended private schools bc miles wanted jamie to have the best opportunities even though his mom was just gonna have him enrolled in public school ,, other than that, jamie was pretty popular throughout high school and was involved in the soccer team and yoga club but did it more out of hobby than anything else , did above average in his classes tbh

the only thing jamie kind of lacks is direction ?? has no clue what he wants to do in life bc he thinks he’s too young to have his future planned out so much and his mom doesn’t mind bc she thinks jamie will find out what he wants to truly do in time and the stars align ,, so yeah . he graduated within the top 30 of his class and got accepted to the colleges he applied to just in case he discovered what he wanted

so yeah rn he’s just working as a yoga instructor and is generally an easy going guy who is easy to talk to, loves people and is just enjoying life ?? spends too much time watching the office on netflix, playing video games and has a bit of an obsession with making fresh smoothies so good luck to his roomies bc he will be using that blender whenever ,, and drag u to organic markets for his fruits n veggies and buys too many candles n lotions

here comes my actual waifu for laifu, eliza ( i would actually die for her, okay ) ! you can find her dossier page HERE and her pinterest board HERE ( she’s one of the muses i’ve had for a literal decade, so why there isn’t more stuff in here ? couldn’t tell ya )

okay so she’s kind of a princess. okay not really, but she is the only scion to a very wealthy family in the drilling & realty business in london. they’re essentially right on the cusp of being granted a dukedom. so, yeah, a pretty deep money line there, and everyone thought the line was going to die because her mom was told she couldn’t have kids. but then eliza showed up and they loved her !!

they loved her a little too much tbh. they weren’t around a whole lot due to business, so she was primarily left in the care of nannies in the estate. they had strict rules: she was to be homeschooled. her parents dictated everything she watched and all the books she consumed. she was not allowed out unsupervised, and all of her friends were picked out, in a sense. 

they expected eliza to be happy with this life, but unfortunately the trevors were granted with a social creature of a daughter, and all she wanted was to roam away from the gilded cage she was placed in. she wanted friends that she chose. she wanted the ability to go to public school. she didn’t care for trinkets or material possessions; she wanted freedom 

it took a long time, but eventually she convinced her parents to let her attend a private, all-girls boarding school so that she could have . . . some form of a social life.

she made a couple genuine friends, but for the most part the other girls didn’t take too kindly to her. she never returned their cruelty, but that was mostly because she didn’t understand that it was cruelty. that’s just how friends talked to each other, right ?

eliza essentially took all the prim and proper training she had gotten and threw it in the trash. she was still sweet and courteous, but her curious nature made it so she wasn’t the best at following the rules, and she really had an issue with social cues and personal space

she had . . . okay grades. she was really more focused on finally able to be social

across the lake from this boarding school was the all-boys sister school. ( there’s a movie i i was inspired from, but i can’t remember what it was rip ) there were occasional late night rendezvous between some adventurous girls and some adventurous boys. it was one of these rendezvous that allowed eliza to meet aiden gallagher.

aiden was everything eliza had read in fairytales. he was princely and charming and 3 years older and so, so handsome. he was always 2nd best to his best friend, but to eliza he was everything

aiden and eliza spent the better part of their upper-secondary years together, but of course her parents wouldn’t approve, seeing as they were surely planning to marry her off to a duke or something, so they had to keep it secret. 

then the two became engaged and she couldn’t keep it a secret anymore. unfortunately, her fears were correct. not only did her parents not approve, but they forbade her from seeing aiden ever again. 

welp, too bad mum and dad, cuz eliza ran away with aiden to the united states, leaving her fortune, her family, and everything else behind for a grungy little apartment in nyc

most would say that having to start over would be difficult as hell, but for eliza it was just another adventure. she was finally free from the gilded cage she was set in and she was ready to live her life to the fullest. aiden followed his dreams of starting a bar in the hustle and bustle, meanwhile eliza landed a job as a model. it was good money, and the 2 managed to be okay

after 3 years of being engaged, eliza was starting to get a bit antsy. whenever she asked, aiden would always say that they’d get married when they were ready. well dude ! she was ready ! after a few sets of bickering and perseverance, she finally managed to get a date out of him

girl went ALL THE FUCK OUT. by this point she’d gotten a more 9-5 job as an assistant contemporary and ballroom dance instructor, so she started saving up money from that and modeling for the big, fabulous wedding she so wanted. she probably spent a small fortune on planning for this wedding

big day comes, okay. she’s got her dream venue, her dream dress, a prince charming, she is READY. but you know who isn’t? aiden. he’s not ready. not only is he not ready, but he fell in love with someone else. he leaves eliza at the alter and she doesn’t know What To Do

she doesn’t even get her stuff from his place. she just goes and stays at one of her bridesmaid’s place. 

she’s in a state of shock for weeks, and its during this period of time that she realizes that she literally does not know what her dreams were besides living happily ever after with this guy. she doesn’t know what she’s doing, where she’s going to go. she’s totally lost at this point

feeling like she doesn’t have anything else, she goes back home. its rough, especially not being in contact with her parents for 4 years. she’s their only baby and they love her, so of course they let her back ( though there are plenty of ‘told you so’s’ tacked on )

she goes back to studying for her role to take over as the heiress to the family fortune. she’s miserable, but she doesn’t know what else to do so she just accepts her lot in life

during her free time, she sneaks away to work at charity events under the guise of good public relations. she also finds herself doodling fashion designs, as she’d always enjoyed that realm of life. the hobby gradually becomes a passion, but she doesn’t realize that its something she could see herself doing for forever until . . .

she’s with her family for 2 years when she finds out that her fears from years ago are more true than she could have ever realized. not long after her 23rd birthday, her family gets into a bit of a scandal with their drilling business. its pretty bad. looks like the money vat they’ve got going is going to dry up. as a way to try and salvage something, her parents call on an old friend who is part of a minor dukedom asking if maybe they’d be willing to marry off their son to eliza.

eliza does NOT like this. she’s always wanted to marry for love, not for money, but her parents need her and she’s still super Lost so . . . fuck it right ?

not fuck it. she hates the guy. she’s trying so hard to resign herself but he’s infuriating and she just needs to Go so, uh, guess it’s her turn to run from the alter !! its like this whole eye opening experience for her. like she Wakes Up and realizes what she wants. while she does definitely want to get married, she definitely down’t want This. 

so she’s Gone and this time she’s definitely not coming back. she’s essentially ruined her family’s life in her eyes and she really cannot handle that shame. 

she moves back to the east coast, but this time she crashes with an old friend that has found her way to jersey city. eventually she gets her own place though, a nice apartment in a highrise. its very different from the estate she grew up in, but its better because it isn’t a cage

she gets back into the fashion industry, but this time its moreso in the designer aspect. her modeling turns into helping the other girls look 10/10 and its Nice. she’s pretty sure she’s found what she wants to do. so much so that she winds up starting her own brand

that’s been going on for about 5 years now, and its going pretty freaking swell !!

its been 8 years since her last near marriage, and to be honest she hasn’t had any truly serious relationships since aiden, which was almost 17 years ago. she’s dated and been with folks, but nothing that’s made her feel the way he did. its kind of a bummer because she always planned to be married before 30, but its fine, yknow !! she can just be a . . . successful career woman. she’s definitely NOT sad about it ( she is rip. she wants kids and a white picket fence and a guy that makes her feel like a PRINCESS )

back in 1997, lan and huynh vu and her older brother, evan, welcomed dakota into the world ! while she was in fact born in vietnam, she didn’t live there long at all as they moved when she was only three to jersey city

moving to america presented better opportunities for dakota’s parents and they quickly made a better live for themselves and their kids in the town they began to call home

better opportunities meant more money and resulted in them absolutely spoiling their kids. they wanted to make up for the rough life they’d had back home, not realizing the consequences that spoiling them could have

they weren’t filthy rich, but the kids definitely got a couple toys every paycheck and got to pick where the family ate out every friday night. it was a good life for them, to say the least. 

school was plain old school. kota had a few boyfriends here and there, made decent enough grades and even played on her school’s volleyball team starting in seventh grade. and she was pretty great at it, still is. 

flash forward to high school, a time known for making first impressions. kota wanted to be popular more than anything. she convinced her parents to buy her only the cutest outfits, even getting a summer job at the grocery store to buy some herself. long story short, she made it to the popular crowd. 

not to be that person, but kota wasn’t your stereotypical popular girl. she told the corniest jokes, to the point that people sometimes laughed just because it was that bad. loves memes and is proud of it. has the worst laugh that sometimes ends in her snorting. was actually friendly to those that weren’t necessarily in her crowd. people liked her well enough. who could hate someone that still made punny jokes on the daily? 

nobody realized she had an ugly side until they got really close to her, or tried to. all those years of being spoiled had finally reared their ugly selfish head when people tried to go to her advice or have anything more than a surface-level conversation with her. 

her humor was suddenly annoying when she applied it to any and every serious situation, cracking jokes at the most inappropriate times. she’d never had to worry about anything serious in her entire life, considering her parents made sure the kids never witnessed the hardships they had dealt with in the past. so her coping mechanism for anything that stresses her out is laughing. in her mind, it’s the best idea and results in the most easy-going day. 

not only did she avoid anything serious, but she’d turn the conversation to her. how did her hair look? did they have that girl’s number who she’d made out with at the last party? any attempt at a serious talk resulted in a topic change, mostly to something about her. she loves talking about herself, considering she was so used to the attention being on her as a kid. somehow, she almost always turns the conversation topic to herself. it’s a talent at this point. 

don’t let this deter you from being her friend, though. she’s not a terrible person, she’s just stuck in a phase of sorts ?? maybe she’ll occasionally get serious, but that’s only if she’s seriously wasted. however, she’ll avoid getting to that state as much as she can because she knows that’s when she slips up and gets real. 

she’ll try not to show it, but she knows she avoids getting serious and she’d prefer to keep it that way. 

anyway ! after graduation she went to a two year college literally just so she could tell her parents that she got some sort of degree

born in boulder, colorado, atlanta was raised by two hippies who believed more in nature than science. atlanta was homeschooled besides other children raised by similar parents, their group resembling more of a cult than a friend group. she spent her childhood in the woods identifying plants and rocks, reading little women by the creek, and forging a completely untainted view of the world with only a little bit of guidance from her parents. 

because of her unusual upbringing, it was a shock to their entire community when atlanta chose to get a certificate in elementary education, and join a system she spent her entire life outside of. however, her parents were always supportive of their oldest daughter, and financially supported her through community college as she earned an associate’s degree while simultaneously working at her mother’s floral shop. despite her general softness and wide-eyed demeanor, atlanta is an extremely hard worker who will go above and beyond to achieve what she wants. 

moving to jersey city was an impulsive decision—the only one she’s every made—and ended in the girl experiencing quite a bit of culture shock. after growing up in such a sheltered environment, to be alone on her own across the country turned out to be harder than she expected. although she found a job she loves, she’s still struggling to find her place. she’s a little too attached to her family, calling them almost daily to ask for advice and even though she’s twenty-one years old, she still feels like a child.

financially, she’s struggling. without assistance from her parents, the girl has no idea what she’s doing. checkbooks? never heard of her. on the one hand, she’s extremely responsible and organized, color coding her bills and bank statements and charting everything down in her handy-dandy planner; but on the other, she’s lost and no matter how many sticky tabs she uses it’s all still confusing. 

atlanta spends her days baking, crafting, and reading romance novels. you can often find her sitting on her couch, covered in layers of blankets, knitting or quilting while watching trashy reality television or listening to a john mayer album. she’s an extroverted homebody who’d rather be in her own territory than venture outside where she’d need to switch her fuzzy pink slippers for high heels. 

personality wise, atlanta is a hopeless romantic who loves people. she looks at life like it’s waiting for her to conquer, and is surprisingly brave for someone so naive. however, she’s extremely sensitive and is unafraid to show that side of her, crying at the slightest inconvenience. on the outside she may seem like she’s weak, but she’s much more resilient and clever than you’d think. her love for pride and prejudice doesn’t drown out the endless amount of good advice she can dish out, even though she doesn’t ever take it for herself.

after high school floyd did the shortest military stint possible without getting sent home during basic training and then went on to study marine biology in university and i am happy to report that it was around this time that he met the love of his life  ( someone give me this i deserve it ). they were together until just after graduation and then floyd received a job offer that would take him to the west coast. meryl didn’t want to be a california girl or maybe just didn’t want to be floyd’s girl and so they split

thus began a long string of failed marriages that, upon further review, seem to coincide with any major geographical move  ( and the bitch has moved a fair few times. )

floyd seems to have taken a page out of his college sweetheart’s book and has systematically closed each chapter of his life prior to relocating as cleanly as he can possibly manage  ––  divorce papers are signed, property is sold off, and his wife can keep the dog.

meanwhile, work is going great and he’s made his way back to the east coast to take a teaching position at a university. this is, arguably, one of the high points of his life and floyd is surprised to find that despite his eccentricities and tendency to evoke confusion and/or vague annoyance in his colleagues he’s actually a really great mentor !!!!

one student in particular really makes an impact and next thing we know floyd is feeling the need to have a Legacy that’s not going to jet off back home once his fellowship is over

luckily for floyd, wife number 3 is a touch younger than he is.

unluckily for floyd, in all his sentimentality he’s overlooked the habits that have led him to wife number 3 in the first place.

and about six months after that, floyd receives a job offer that’ll take him to florida

long story short  ––  he tries to stick things out for the kid and be a respectable parent and husband. in the end he gets things halfway right; his relationship with his son prospers despite the eventual disintegration of his third marriage

life goes on. floyd settles in new york for the foreseeable future and takes a teaching position at nyu. he gets married again. he waits for someone  ––  anyone  ––  to need a mentor. whenever casper is willing and available, he takes his son to the beach.

tess didn’t have the best upbringing, probably the understatement of the century. her mother was absent for most of her childhood and she was left in the hands of her alcoholic father. she wanted to make him happy but nothing seemed to work and he just seemed disappointed. she was a sweet child and did exactly what she was told; she was too loyal to her father.

when her mother did show up, the woman would always say how perfect her daughter was but then criticised constantly. however, it was bearable. the little girl begged for the woman to stay with them but she refused. she cropped up every other month acting like she had saved the day but it only broke tess’ heart.

as she got older, she threw herself into her studies, wanting to be the best she could be, not for herself but to finally make her father proud. that never seemed to happen and as she pushed and pushed herself, she crumbled. she was in her last year of high school when she finally started dating and he was an asshole. her father was far too possessive and thought no one was good for her so he threatened him to disappear and that’s exactly what happened. another person had left her and this would become a pattern.

tess was a serial dater throughout college despite her brilliant grades. she was studying law and had a brilliant future ahead of her but never settled into anything. she didn’t feel confident enough to become a lawyer and felt like she needed someone to support her. that was when brinley’s dad came along. when she old him that she was pregnant, he left her and she couldn’t do anything about her. tess overcompensated for a lot of things, scared that she was doing something wrong and this drove him away.

several men followed and people did judge but she was convinced that she loved them all at the time. they weren’t nice people and she realised it until it was too late. she has brought dangerous people into her kids’ life and will never forgive herself for it.

she is a senior paralegal at a law firm, had a break when her children were born and went back to work circa five years ago. the workload is strenuous on her and her husband made her feel guilty for her work hours at all times.

when getting drunk on a work night out, the woman broke down, suicidal and so her colleagues rang the police; they were really worried about her. she was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder but has tried to deny it until recently.

she does love her children but she has trouble regulating her emotions so can seem a little self-centred and emotional; the amount of times her kids have seen her cry is unreal and they shouldn’t have to see their mother in constant tears.

tess has always put up with his abuse but it became worse over the last few years. her children witnessed it. she’s ruined her children, she can see it; they despise her and although she tries to communicate them, her true intentions never come across.

four of her children have moved out/are at university and she doesn’t have much contact with them, only when they’re concerned about their younger sister.

i will reinforce that she LOVES her children so much and hates herself even more for how she’s not supported them. all she wants them to do is love her but she can’t force that, no matter how hard she tries. she can be impulsive, intense and that just scares them off.

after breaking down to one of her best friends, they encouraged her to get help and even went to her first therapy session with her. it took time but she eventually got the courage to leave him and moved, taking her youngest tabitha with her. 

they’re both living in a one bedroom apartment, with tess sleeping on a mattress on the floor while her daughter has the bed frame. she’s trying to hold it together but the rent is taking a lot out of her pay and knows that she either needs to get another job or ask someone for help. because of this, she’s stopped going to therapy. 

she absolutely adores tabitha, who’s ten and would do anything for her. it’s her chance to be more present in her life than she had been in for the others but that means taking care of herself.

she’s pretty disorganised to say she’s in the legal profession but she cares deeply about everything so it makes things harder to deal with. she feels isolated very easily and so needs to be with people. she actually loves socialising but maybe a little too much...

her boss is incredibly supportive with her mental health and if it weren’t for them, she would be in more of a mess than she is now. 

her daughter always gets so worried when she cries. tess doesn’t want her to comfort her, it’s not her place but tabitha is very good at it. she can also be very sassy and knows the right time to be so. she loves her mother and they’ve become very close since moving to jersey.

tess is a GREAT friend to have honestly. she’s very smart, witty and cares a lot about people and when she’s having a good day, she absolutely thrives !!

literally scar and her sister were those little girls with huge curls and sequined dresses and bright lipstick . it was a mess tbh but the transition from that to debutante was intense and it gives her war flashbacks tbh

but one thing that came out of it was that scarlett joined the competition of miss gerogia teen usa and won .. which is wild enough but fake it to u make it am i rite laid ease !! but that’s not even the wild part bc from that ,, when she was 17 scarlett moved on to miss teen usa  which was a different type of hell and scarlett fully believes the whole thing is an inner ring of hell thing that everyone will experience sooner or later but anYWHO !! scarlett hates herself bc she ended up winning the 2009 cycle of miss teen usa

it’s weird though bc there’s a disconnect from pageant scarlett to what she actually is like ?? especially in high school when all this was going on and she was considered widely popular by her classmates bc of winning georgia teen usa and then miss teen usa but she rejected it ?? had a secure circle of friends and minded her own business . smarter than people anticipated for her to be and kept up with clubs that fit into her schedule like the schools production club which put on the morning announcements where she was a presenter and just the biology club and just .. ignored boys in general bc lmao they all sucked and just wanted to get their dick wet

he’s a sunny, sunshine child originally from arizona. his mom is a practical ceo and his dad is a retired athlete who really enforces the ‘be a man’ mindset while simultaneously crying over a john hughes movie. he also has a twin brother and two younger siblings whom he loves a lot . . . but none of that matters cuz he’s on the other side of the country and refuses to go home !

so . . .  my boy. my baby boy. he’s a funny ducky. he likes to make people laugh, thrives off of it really. from the get go everyone was saying he should be a comedian, but it wasn’t a practical occupation and so he stuck it on the backburner as a hobby in favor of an attempted degree at zoology. he told himself was content with just tell jokes to endangered penguins in new zealand.

and then ! one fated open mic comedy night with his college bros led to being ‘discovered’ at the ripe age of 18 ! he dropped out and did all the gigs and tours he could get his hands on. for a whole, beautiful year he was the center spotlight for anyone who had a decent sense of humor ( or a decent eye - a lot of his fanbase were young girls lmao . . . ) and it was truly a dream come true

but yikes ! after a year, things started falling through. his offers were scrapped in favor of newer, fresher, and cuter guests and matty was tossed to the back burner. to say this upset him would be an understatement. due to his jealous nature, he simultaneously shut in and lashed out, promptly killing any remaining interest he still had holding on.

so now, too embarrassed to go home and with nowhere else to really go, he’s decided to just stick to where the last legs of his dream dropped him off: new jersey. it isn’t ideal, but it is better than the ‘i told you so’s from his mom back home. anything is better than facing his shame, so instead he’ll just escape and pretend like nothing is wrong ! he’s never been good at facing his issues and feelings head on.

aubrey joseph. cismale. he/him. — did you see { lincoln wolff }, i haven’t seen the { twenty } year old in a while! you know, they’re a { student }, and have been living in jersey city for { two years }. some say they’re { critical & dogmatic }, but i think they’re { insightful & pragmatic }. regardless, i’m glad { linc } is here.

in late 1997 grace and quentin wolff were a lil surprised w/ a son who they hadn’t planned on at all ? they actually hadn’t wanted kids at at all, but it was love at first sight and he changed their whole mind abt the idea of a family 

growing up in the small town of bristol, connecticut was boring. sure, as a kid, everything seems big. but even bristol seemed small to little linc and after getting bored of going to the same park every week, his parents decided to put him in a couple different activities around town in hopes of keeping him busy

luckily, it sort of worked. linc started to love heading out every day to play with the other kids, except like almost every other boy his age, he wasn’t the biggest fan of football or basketball. for some reason, he loved frisbee. just going out and throwing it around with his friends or parents was enough to make him happy. he was a pretty simple kid to please, tbh

frisbee became more than a hobby as he grew older and was good enough to be on an actual team ( his parents didn’t even know they had teams for that sort of stuff until linc announced it if we’re being honest ) 

as the years of ultimate frisbee went on, things changed. his parents adopted a little girl from the next state over, jasmine, who he loves more than anything and would protect from jokes about her being adopted at all costs ?? kids bullied her constantly when they were younger and he made it rather obvious that that wasn’t going to fly w/ him 

high school made linc realize that ultimate frisbee wasn’t exactly a career and in a panic, he signed up for some computer classes after hearing about the easy a’s it would earn him

except it ended up not just being an easy grade for him. linc loved the basic codes they learned and how they could change what he was looking at on the screen in just a few clicks. it was fascinating to him and soon enough, it was his new obsession. with help from his tech teacher junior year, he started a few computer science classes early at his local college with the full support of his parents. this was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. 

it was no question for him to major in computer science by the time applying for colleges came around. he applied to the closest colleges that had his major, hoping he could stay close enough to visit his family more than once a semester. however, he ended up with the school that offered him the most financial aid, it being a smaller school in jersey city. 

despite the bigger distance than he would have preferred, linc quickly grew to love the school and the city that was so much bigger than bristol. it brought out a new side of him and helped him grow into the twenty year old he is now 

even though linc was one of the most outgoing kids in his elementary school, he’s on the quieter side these days. he’s not shy or awkward, simply just pickier about who he makes an effort for. he gives off that guy in the movie whose dark and mysterious vibes, you know ?? he gets insulted when someone mentions it, though

so f*cking smart ! he got a full ride and actually loves his difficult classes ? in fact, the more difficult, the better for him. crazy

not only is he smart when it comes to computers and coding, but just in general he’s a pretty wise guy ?? not the first person you’d come to for advice but when you do, you won’t regret it ok 

super realistic ? kind of a bummer ? bc people his age are all about dreaming abt being rich and traveling and he’s like lol that’s not happening when you spend all of your money on alcohol billy ! alk;jsf he’s kind of annoying which is partly why he only has like . three friends if he’s lucky 

also kinda ties along w/ him being critical ?? will judge you if you do stupid shit a lot and he’s not very shy abt it at all even if he barely knows u ? it’s so bad he literally can’t shut up sometimes abt his opinions, and it’s even worse bc he refuses to ever think that he’s wrong

trying to correct him is ineffective bc he’s always right in his head and ur wrong if you don’t believe him . he will walk away if you try too hard to argue w/ him 

smokes weed, that’s all abt that really ? he likes it and it makes him feel mellow y’know ?? he’s cool like that ( or he thinks he is at least )

frenemy. someone who constantly tries to prove him wrong but for some reason, he appreciates it/finds it funny. they’re the one person he can tolerate trying to correct him, or at least he can most of the time. other times he just shrugs them off and tries to give them the cold shoulder for a day or two just to piss them off. 

crush. this boy needs someone to make playlists for that he says are just bc they’re close friends. he’s not the most open about his feelings as he’s scared that they won’t be reciprocated but he can’t really help but be the tiniest bit open about this one even if he ends up getting hurt in the end.

BIOGRAPHY 

–-- levi is the youngest of the gardner family. his father is a senator (republican), which means that a lot of his family life is broadcasted to the news. but like most of it is fake because his family “looks good” in the media, but they are far from it. levi is probably the most forgotten member by the press. when i say that i mean, literally people will forget that he’s there and if you look up pictures of the gardner family online, he’s only in like one picture because he had several panic attacks at social events and his father just gave up trying to get him to be normal. everyone in his family has something they’re known for (his oldest bro is into politics, his other bro is an olympian, and his older sister is internet famous), but he’s kind of the black sheep of the family. he likes being forgotten. levi’s always known that he was different from the rest of his family. for various reasons, but mainly that he honestly likes to be alone and not in the spotlight.

–-- he has always done his best not to stand out among his peers. he doesn’t drop his name or talk about his parents or anything because he knows that he’d rather not be treated differently for being a senator’s son. levi has had social anxiety disorder since he was a child. even talking to people can give him a panic attack. though he’s learned the warning signs and knows how to avoid getting into situations like that, it’ll still happen occasionally. he does take medication for it, which has always annoyed his father – who doesn’t believe that depression and anxiety are real, because his dad is absolute shit.

–-- though he’s forgotten by the public and media – he isn’t at home. his father is almost hyper aware of levi’s existence and being so close to washington, dc, his father spends a lot of time at home and almost seeks levi out when they’re both home. although most nights are okay and levi just got away with being yelled at, but there have been times when his father has gotten so angry, that he’s gotten physical. levi tries his best to avoid his father at all costs, but that’s not entirely simple. his mother pretends to be oblivious about everything that’s happening in her house ‘cause why bother with the kids when you’re worrying about when your next botox appointment is?

–-- he didn’t fit in anywhere. in high school, he mostly spent time alone rather than with a specific crowd. he was a wallflower and he’s okay with not fitting in anywhere. despite that, he’s a major nerd. while he didn’t have the grades to show for that, he loves video games and plays dungeons and dragons – one of the few ways he can be social with other people and have the confidence to talk comfortably. he did somehow have a boyfriend that he kept a secret from his dad until he was a junior in college. don’t ask me how. 

–-- he has two older brothers and an older sister. where as levi’s always just been labeled as a freak and a disappointment by pretty much everyone in his family. he does however, get along with his middle brother (edmund) – despite their six year age difference. they aren’t similar in any way, but the older boy always looked after levi and sometimes tried to stop their father from yelling at levi, though it rarely worked. eddie would end up just making things better if he could. clarissa (risa) and wilbur (wil) are shit and only care about themselves. 

–-- he realized that he was gay when he was eleven years old because he just wasn’t into girls like the rest of the boys his age. and the way his most of his family feels about gay people, he’s kind of kept it hidden from everyone. he decided to go to school out of state just to get away from his father and keep that he was gay as far away from his dad as possible. he’s kind of kept it to himself except for a couple people that either figured it out or he was close enough to tell. he decided to go to art school in new york purely based on the fact that the city is more accepting (plus his boyfriend went to school in nyc too).

–-- he moved to jersey city after finishing school purely because it’s cheaper than living in new york, despite the fact that he does actually work in new york at a video game company. he hates being so far away from his job, but there’s only so much he can do about it because he can’t really afford to live anywhere else since his father kicked him out his junior year of college. 

–-- DISCLAIMER: i also have social anxiety disorder & i will try my best to make roleplay with levi at least somewhat painless – even though he can be a pain to interact with sometimes. he really does try. it’s also a new setting for him and a different background, so he should be okay. 

WANTED CONNECTIONS 

–-- friends / levi’s a weirdo, but he can / is capable of making friends. it just might be harder than it is for some characters to get along with him. he’s like... happiest when talking video games with people -- classics, new ones, whatever. levi needs people he’s comfortable with. 

–-- bullies / i love a good bullies plot. and levi is def the type to have one or two or nine million of these. especially because of his social anxiety. like he tries to be social. he really does. but it’s hard. and he could use a few people that give him a hard time with that.

–-- casual dates / levi’s getting over a lengthy relationship with a boy he’d been dating since high school. he’s just now getting over it. they were soulmates and levi briefly lived with the guy when he was kicked out of his home. i could talk for yearssss about the two of them, but i won’t. it’s taken him a long time to get over it -- and it didn’t even end badly? it just ended cause they were just too busy and levi was at a bar at one point with some friends who went off with people and left him alone and he was feeling lonely and started flirting with this cute guy and was like ‘oh shit i shouldn’t be happy about this’ and then broke up with his boyfriend. and he’s not really dated since, so like any character that wants to be a casual date would be interesting. because it’ll be awkward and levi’s still in love with his ex.
