Juehuaornis is a recently described Ornithuromorph from the Jiufotang Formation of China, living in the Aptian age of the Early Cretaceous, approximately 122 million years ago. It is known from a compressed and complete skeleton with feathers, and it had a long toothed snout with a tiny hook at the tip of the jaw. This may indicate that it had a new ecology, though no one has actually tried to figure out what that ecology is. It is possible it is the same dinosaur as Changzuiornis and Dingavis, though that is still under some debate.
