You know what's something? It's just hitting me... Sukuna treats Yuji as a person contrasting to how everyone else was just entertainment to him. He hates him for who he is, not what he can do.

Sukuna loathes that Yuji's sense of mortality. He despises Yuji's resolve to fight because he's selfless. Not once Yuji ever acknowledges Sukuna other than an annoyance and he certainly only sees Sukuna as just another curse that needs to be put down.

Like, it's just crazy to me that Sukuna is so blinded by his ego that he won't and can't admit that Yuji is a threat to him. Yuji was literally born to be a threat to him (because ain't no way Kenjaku birthed a baby that could cage Sukuna) and Sukuna knows this!

Let's be honest! Had anyone else be hitting those Black Flashes, Sukuna would be grinning and praising that person. But no! It's Yuji, who could honestly care less about being praised.

Reason, for me, that Sukuna won't admit that Yuji is a threat to him is because Yuji being a contradiction to his beliefs would be Sukuna admitting that he (Sukuna) is wrong.

Yuji's very existence is a slap to Sukuna's face and he hates it.

I know I just post about this but I had to go back to 257 and either Sukuna didn't get his foot cut off and I'm just tripping or he did and healed it back. Dude's foot is perfectly fine right after!!

And what happens in the next chapter? Yuji gets his left foot (same foot, by the way) cut off and if you look closely, he just reattaches it. We see it on the ground, following panel there's a stream of blood from his foot to his leg and then it's fine in the last panel!! He's on that foot! That's what it looks like to me!

Oh, Gege really making sure we know these two are family, for real. Shared a body, souls connected... I see the similarities, I do!!

EDIT: Also, remember Yuji is like his big brother Choso. And guess what Choso can do? Reattach his limbs!

It's something that in build, Suguru and Yuji are shorter but wider than Satoru and Megumi who are taller and leaner.

I freaked out, too, when I saw posts about Yuji losing his leg but then I remembered "oh, he has RCT" and then I read the leaks and saw that he's like Choso now and remembered during his fight with Kenjaku, like 50+ chapters ago, Choso has a move where he can unattach his arm and reattach back on. Yuji reattaches his foot back on... LIKE HIS BIG BRO FOR REAL!! 😭

If anything, Sukuna about to get really frustrated again if Yuji keeps reattaching his limbs because that kid is not only unfazed from his slashes, he pretty much can counter them now. Dude better stop spamming them cutting moves and Shrine!

Hot take (probably), but I actually don't believe Izuku is the type to actually be in everyone's business. Let alone Katsuki's.

Like, I know there's that bit in one of the light novels, I don't know which one and I don't exactly know how it went, where Izuku mentions how Katsuki didn't get Valentines from girls or whatever but here's the thing...

Katsuki is fucking loud.

I believe Izuku actually didn't care that Katsuki got any gifts from girls or not. Just more shocked that he didn't.

But how he found out was that Katsuki was talking with some other kids and brought up gifts or whatever and Katsuki, being Katsuki, loudly proclaimed that he didn't get gifts and doesn't want any and Izuku just so happen to have heard that walking pass.

They went to a school where their fucking teacher thought it was necessary to bring up Izuku's business to the entire class and he got laughed at.

Maybe it's just me, but the whole "Izuku knows everything about Katsuki because he follows him everywhere like a shadow" just... ugh...

They were close at one point (and got better), yeah. Izuku is observant and he's more curious, mostly about quirks and heroes. And sometimes, he does speak before he thinks and gets into business he doesn't have to, but that's more for being a good person and hero.

But I do not think he's that nosy.

If anyone is the damn nosy one it's Katsuki.

I'm gonna be honest, Kusakabe lost like 10 points here with me because of this scene right here.

While I agree that, yes, Sukuna does have some influence to why Yuji is how he is: the capability using techniques and cursed energy.

But that's where it ends. Yuji was able to pick up on things so fast because he applied himself. He did the work. Sukuna ain't do shit to even help Yuji's development. It is still Yuji's body. The body that Sukuna decided wasn't enough strong for him to possess.

Yes, Yuji's muscle memory is why Yuji is able to use Shrine but he, Yuji Itadori, had to use it himself to even get it to work for him.

So what the fuck does Yuji have to thank Sukuna for, even if this said in a sarcastic manner?

Like, last time I checked it wasn't Sukuna who woke Sukuna up. It was Yuji. Last time I checked it wasn't Sukuna who learned Black Flash in moments and now can hit it just on pure instinct. That's Yuji.

Last time I checked, it wasn't Sukuna who taught Yuji how to fight. Yuji was already am expert fighter BEFORE Sukuna even came into the picture.

Yuji is able to use his own version of Shrine AFTER Sukuna left his body. Sukuna used that technique TWICE possessing Yuji. A lot of Yuji's growth actually came AFTER Sukuna left to possess Megumi.

It just feels like Kusakube is giving Sukuna too much credit here to me. Ironic, considering that Sukuna was the one who almost killed him and for that he was like "if the Higher-Ups decide that Yuji should die, then I won't stand in the way of that" like bro... do you got some beef with the kid, too?

Like, no, Yuji does not need to thank Sukuna, the same guy who is adamant with making his life a living hell.

Kusakube just being discouraging here, like quite a lot of adults tend to do with kids. Like he could have brought up but also acknowledge the fact that Yuji does work hard on his own to even use techniques. Yuji is a very ambitious kid. His kindness for others and selfless nature is what truly drives Yuji to be physicly capable to do things.

... okay, no, I just had two thoughts.

So even when Kenjaku possesses another body, they still hold the Cursed Technique of the previous body and carries it over to that next body. (Example, using Kaori's CT while in Suguru's body.)

Doing that... I wonder if it's possible that would mean their children could possibly inherit a CT they have or a variation of it?

Because, before knowing what was revealed, what if Yuji had been able to use Blood Manipulation because Kenjaku has the technique (from possessing Ancestor Noritoshi Kamo's body)?

Which, if that had been the case, it would have been even more fucked up he consumed 6 of his other siblings to use a technique he already has.

Leading onto my next thought!

It's messing with my head realizing that not only Yuji consumed 6 of his siblings while they were fetuses but had he not been Yuji, his body could have been taken over. Add those 6 fetuses, that would make Yuji risking being possessed and his body being taken over 7 times!

Death Paintings have to gain a body via consuming said DP. Just like how the reincarnated sorcerers take over bodies completely. Incarnated sorcerers are reincarnated through, in most cases, consuming some Cursed Object. The DPs are considered Cursed Objects, in their own class of Cursed Wombs.

Has even even been discussed how risky that was? Yuji getting his body taken over? Or because Yuji was able to control Sukuna, they figure that the DPs would be no problem?

Yuji really isn't a vessel. He really was born a cage. No one else has been able to have complete control of their own body without the incarnated sorcerer possessing it gives up that control willingly (ex: Angel and Hana - Angel lets Hana have control).

Yuji isn't just a cage for Sukuna. He's a cage for anything!! It makes sense that the DPs couldn't take control of his body because he could control Sukuna.

But they didn't know Yuji was made for that that I'm aware of!! There was a risk literally 6 times with the Death Paintings!

But also, true, Star and Stripe is drawn in a different art style that references American superhero comics. Same with All Might in his super form. His hero aesthetic is referencing America which he did the rest of his hero training at and where Cathleen, aka Star and Stripe, is from!

Also... they really had a preview for the first episode! Which comes out next Saturday! (May 4th)

Scenes where they take control of their right limb to restrain the being possessing them while these blue eyed, long lashes having pretty boys look on with blood on their faces.
