Ok but having Akechi in mementos is kinda. Hilarious. I love the convos he has.
Morgana is like. A ball of barely-repressed hatred for him. Akechi was like ‘hmm I’m hungry, maybe I should’ve eaten before coming here’ and Morgana was just like ‘Too Fuckin Bad, we’re on the job now.’ & then Akechi at one point cautioned us to b careful of strong shadows, & Morgana was like ‘we don’t need to hear that from You.’
Ann and Ryuji r surprisingly chill tho! Akechi mentioned wanting to ride his bike in mementos, & Ann was like ‘oh that sounds nice!’ And then Akechi talked about how life is boring without competition, & Ryuji agreed, in a Dramatic Ryuji Manner.
Wish I could capture these things but mementos conversations pass by so quickly

You were pregnant.
You wanted to cry.
You stared at the test in front of you. Two lines. Positive. There was no denying it, as much as you wanted it to be negative. You could tell you were pregnant before you even took the test, all the throwing up you were doing, the nausea you felt when certain foods were being cooked at work and the ongoing foot and back pains you felt.
Iwaizumi first approached you at your job, some shitty dinner that only paid you enough so you can make ends meet. You could tell he had money, the way he dressed, his demeanor even the way he talked. ‘What was a man like this doing here?’ you thought.
Apparently, he’s seen you around for a while, your city was small you’d only really leave this place if you had a fair god mother or died and of course you are clearly alive and don’t have a fairy god mother...until you met him.
He ordered a coffee, didn’t drink it though (probably knowing that your boss spat it in whenever he was in a bad mood or because he just needed an excuse to be around) just waiting for you to finish your break. You sat in a corner booth for ‘privacy,’ not that anybody was even in the place.
“My names Iwaizumi Hajime” he said keeping a blank facial expression
“What do you wan-”
“Miss L/N, I think I’ll do the talking here. Okay?” he said with a smirk appearing on his face after seeing your slightly shocked face when he revealed knowing your last name.
“I’ve seen you around for a while now, you’re beautiful you know that right?” he said making your cheeks heat up a bit. “Anyways, I think you’re gorgeous and a man like me needs a pretty girl like you on his arms. By the lack of response to my name, I assume you don’t know who I am...but I guess that works in my favour”
Your face is getting bored by the second not really listening as he rambles on about himself, “I need you to be on my arm every night that I go out to one of my boring business meetings.”
“Business meetings?” you ask
“You know, a bunch of ‘business’ people go out and talk ‘business’ together.” he said sarcastically as if you were stupid.
“I know that, I just thought you’d elaborate about it.” You sighed “What do I get out of this?”
“Finally, you’ve gotten to the interesting part, you my dear get money and lots of It” he says finally catching your attention “I’ll pay you 1 million Yen per night, and all your dresses, outfits and expenses will be paid for so you won’t have to worry your pretty little head about finances again” he ‘smiled’ at you.
“What's the catch?” squinting your eyes
“The catch is just that you have to accompany me to all my events.... and you have to stay in my condo.”
“Wh-”
“Don’t worry dear, it’s a nice place” interrupting you “probably better than any shithole you live in”
“Fine, fine” his words were convincing you “Is there a contract you have for me to sign?” you ask wanting to at least be somewhat ‘protected.’
“No contract, just this verbal agreement. Between me and you right here right now.” he winked “so you’re in agreement of our arrangement?”
“Yes.”
That was your first mistake believing Iwaizumi Hajime.
Sure you could defend yourself now and say ‘I was poor and in need of help’ but you’d know it would just be you in denial talking.
The first time you attended a meeting with Iwaizumi, you came home from quitting your job since Iwaizumi said ‘you’re on my payroll now.’ You found a beautiful red dress laying on your bed accompanied with shoes and accessories and note saying, ‘I trust you to be able to do your own hair and make up my dear – I.H’
You didn’t have any family, or any friends. Most people that have had even a single encounter with you have deemed you to be ‘Not Likeable’ saying you’re not a people person or just lack any sociability. You were stuck in this town because of the debt your father has left you in before he supposedly ‘passed’ away. Leaving you drowning in all his financial woes, meaning you couldn’t go to university or become a professional *insert dream job here* like you wanted to be.
When you exited your building, you saw Iwaizumi leaning against a flashy car parked outside. “You chariot awaits m’lady” he says with a cheeky grin on his face making you roll your eyes. You got in the car and he started driving, humming along to a random song slightly agitating you.
“So, when are you moving to my place? It’s a part of the agreement.” he said in a sing song voice in the tune of what he was humming.
Iwaizumi reminded you of JD from heathers, he was nice when he wanted but he did have a screw loose that was triggered when things didn’t go his way. Like a small child who didn’t get the toy he wanted when he had a million other toys.
Him being the child. You being the toy.
“Our agreement is bullshit, just verbal.” you say mockingly “remember?”
“don’t start with me Y/N I'm not in a pleasant mood today” he says gritting his teeth “and I don’t need you fucking with me tonight.”
He puts his hand on your thigh, a little too harshly making you internally wince. “Okay here’s the rules for the night. You stay on my side for the night, only speak when spoken too, don’t drink too much since no one likes an alcoholic of course.”
“Oh, so all I need to do is sit pretty like a good little girl.” you say sarcastically
“Precisely” he lessens the grip on your thigh making you breathe in relief.
The event was boring to say the least, you did as Iwaizumi said stood next to him with a fake smile plastered on your face all through the night. You’re sure that people did ask you questions, but you were in your own little world only stepping out of it when Iwaizumi either pinched your arm or gripped your thigh.
The end of the night was ‘eventful’ to say the least, before you entered the car a hand wrapped around your waist and you were pulled into a back alley. “We couldn’t end the night so boring, could we?” it was Iwaizumi, of course it was.
He started peppering your neck with kisses and roaming his hands all over your body. He eventually trailed the kisses from your neck to your lips, leading you both into a full blown make out session. It was fast and you couldn’t really think straight. Iwaizumi was getting a bit too forceful, gripping and kissing harder than he needed to, leaving marks as if to say ‘you’re mine now.’
That was your second mistake. Getting sexual with Iwaizumi Hajime.
He said you had to go back to his house which was basically now yours. You complied, obviously had no other choice since he didn’t offer or ask. He told you too.
Waking up in the Iwaizumi residence was an ‘experience.’ Iwaizumi wanted you awake when he was awake and asleep when he was, never giving you a moment too yourself. You swiftly came to the learn of the reason why he wanted you in his ‘care’ (as he called it anyways) he wanted his eyes on you all the time.
You carried on attending the events bored out of your mind and the nights went the same way. Fancy dress, long car ride, not paying attention, getting fucked in the back alley then sleep in Iwaizumi’s expensive silk sheets.
You didn’t know much about Iwaizumi besides what you could find. In the day time, Iwaizumi spends it cooped up in his office whilst giving you the ‘permission’ to roam around the house. Iwaizumi kept all his important stuff in a small box under a creepy floorboard in his basement original idea I know. All the information in there was just stuff about generic stuff about his childhood. Him being brought up into wealth, how much he weighed as a baby and all the allergies and boring shit that he had.
Iwaizumi Hajime was an enigma.
You and Iwaizumi did get along. Sometimes. You did do things that weren’t strictly fucking and going to business meetings. He took you on what you could only be able to describe as dates, and outings showing you off to all his actual friends. That’s when you learnt the difference of the ‘two’ men, Iwaizumi and Hajime.
Although they were the same person by name, Iwaizumi was rough around the edges and cold at heart not caring about you at all. Hajime, whilst still being rough around the edges, basically made you out to be his girlfriend giving you the love and care you needed. You really liked the times when you were with Hajime.
That was your third mistake, falling in love with Iwaizumi Hajime.
As things progressed, your quality of life seemed to dwindle (not that it was great in the first place.) Iwaizumi was barely in the house, claiming that for these particular ‘business meetings’ he didn’t need you.
On one night, a simple phone call definitely changed your whole dynamic.
“Yes babe, I’m coming over tomorrow I can’t wait to see you and the girls again.” he said to the other person on the phone.
“Why do you question my love for you, of course I love you.” he said again
“I love you, the girls even the dumb dog that Haru forced me to get for her 8th birthday I love. You guys are my family. My lovely wife and out girls”
Your stomach churned, you backed out of the hallway that you were in. He had a family, of course he had a family. You went into the guest room, where you kept all your things, you couldn’t do this anymore. Although you pretty much lost all your morals when you formed this whole agreement but you refuse to sleep with a married man with kids. You couldn’t. Being the reason why a family might break up is something you wouldn’t ever do.
Iwaizumi heard all your commotion and entered the guess “Woah darling who’s moving out?” he asked jokingly
“Hmm probably your wife and kids, after they realise their husband is a CHEATER!” you spat
“Woah, woah Y/N” he said getting closer to you “You don’t know what the fuck you’re on about”
“I think I know pretty well; you’ve always been a pompous ass Iwaizumi; it was my bad for thinking that you weren’t married throughout all of this.” You finished packing up as much close as you possible can and headed out the room.
“You need to watch your mouth Y/N” he says aggressively
“Or what Iwaizumi, or should I say Hajime” you shout “Or is that only reserved for your WIFE!”
This seem to really tick him off, “You don’t know anything Y/N, you really think I could love a dirty slut like you? Huh? Well, I didn’t know that you were important enough to be able to know the details of my personal life.”
“I'm not a slut” you mumbled. Which was completely true, Iwaizumi didn’t notice that the first time you slept together was the first time that you slept with anyone.
“repeat that again for me y/n?” he said mockingly
“IM NOT A SLUT!” you shout in his face
“You are what I say you are darling”
“Fuck you.” You try and push past him hard, to get out the house but you’re no match against his anger and brute strength. So, when he slams you against the wall, he banging your head. Leaving you concussed and bleeding. Before you completely pass out all you hear is a repetition of Iwaizumi Hajime murmuring “I'm sorry, I’m sorry” whilst wrapping his arms around your comatose body.
You woke up, thinking that was all a dream but the ache in the back of your head proved otherwise.
“Y/N, darling your awake!” he said making you flinch
You moved away from him when he sat on your bed looking at you with ‘love’ and ‘care’ in his eyes. He goes to stroke your cheek whispering “you’re so be-”
“Fuck off” you say. That bang to the head was a wakeup call literally reminding you of all the hot and cold moments you had with Iwaizumi that you submerged into your head for the sole reason of ‘wanting to be happy.’ But you weren’t happy. Deep down you knew that.
“But y/n, darling I love you.” he said and you closed your eyes shut wanting to tune him out “I love you Y/N.”
“You don’t" you replied back harshly with your eyes still shut tightly
“But I do Y/N, I love you” he repeated the ‘I love you’s’ over and over making you want to scream out in frustation.
“Shut up!” you yelled “You don’t love me, stop saying that” your head throbbing with every word “Just stop. Make it stop! Kill me if you have to! Just make it stop” you say thumping at Iwaizumi’s chest becoming a hysterical crying mess. You weren’t talking about the physical paint he caused you (even though that hurt ALOT) you were talking about the constant heartache it was just being around him.
He didn’t know what to do. So, he just put his arms round you again and you yelled your frustrations about him to him into his chest.
You woke up into a new place, not your old one or Iwaizumis just something brand new.
With a note on your bed side table saying:
‘I love you and I’m sorry’
Making you tear it up and toss it out.
You had no further contact with Iwaizumi, you figured that the new house you lived in was already paid for, but you didn’t want Iwaizumi to show up one day saying that you owed him money so you decided to get a job. A small one, that didn’t require any strenuous Labour or heavy shift times.
It was a few weeks after Iwaizumi left you and you felt sick and heartbroken. After finishing your shift at your job you felt hot headed and extremely ill making you run to your toilet to spill out your guts.
Which lead you to your predicament now.
Pregnant.
You were pregnant.
You wanted to cry.
You stared at the test in front of you. Two lines. Positive. There was no denying it, as much as you wanted it to be negative. You could tell you were pregnant befonhre you even took the test, all the throwing up you were doing, the nausea you felt when certain foods were being cooked at work and the ongoing foot and back pains you felt.
You didn’t know what to do. There was only thing you could do, but you certainly didn’t want that. ‘Call him’ the voice in your head urged. ‘That would be the best option right?’ you thought ‘I mean he did love you afterall...’
It took a whole day of pacing around and wondering on what you should do. But you knew that leaving the situation longer would only make it worse. So you kept his business card on you when he gave it to you since that was the only phone number you had. He was all you actually had.
You called and the phone rang 4 times, your heart beating faster and faster as it rang.
“He-”
“Hello this is Sakura Iwaizumi speaking” a feminine voice said “Who is calling?” you hear someone say in the background. ‘Iwaizumi’ you thought, your face smiling. You realised you haven’t responded so you rushed out
“I’m Y/N L/N, I need to speak with Iwaizumi.”
“Haji dear, there's a girl on the phone for you... someone of the name called Y/N L/N”
You heard muffles in the background and Iwaizumi saying “Just hang up the phone she’s not worth it.” Your heart stung ‘She’s not worth it.’ Did he really mean that? As much as you claim to hate him, you didn’t really. As you’ve said before you always liked his loving and caring side over his cold hearted one.
You put the phone down and just cried, wailing your heart out for him. Why? You don’t really know to be honest. This was all a dumb agreement, he used you because he was bored and he probably already knew you were pregnant from when he gave you that concussion. But ‘he doesn’t want you’ you reminded yourself because ‘I’m not worth it.’
AUTHORS NOTE: once again, i’m sorry lol. But im most likely going to do a part two of my ‘long shot’ series with Akaashi or a character of your choosing.

I did a lot of research so I hope this comes across well!
Summary: A young pro!Bakugo makes a promise to a dying man, little did he know that promise would come back unexpectedly years later when he is named guardian to a girl he has never met.
Warnings: angst, blood/injury mention, fluff, Pro!Hero Bakugo
Word Count: 4474
---
The heat hit his skin in waves, the smell of smoke accosting his lungs and clawing its way out in coughs and gags. “Come on, I know there’s one more extra in here.” Bakugo hissed into his sleeve, trying to find the said extra in question. “C’mon Ground Zero, what did we say about calling civilians extras?” Kirishima said in his earpiece. “Shut up Rock Hair, I’m a little busy trying to do my job here in case you hadn’t noticed.” “Yeah yeah ----Over there! I think I see the last one!” Kirishima exclaimed, pointing at an arm waving frantically from under a pile of rubble.
Bakugo and Kirishima carefully but quickly picked their way across the rubble.
“Are you okay?” Kirishima called, and received a weak groan in response. “They’re alive! Let’s get them out.” Bakugo grunted in response and the two of them worked to move the rubble that was trapping the civilian. Kirishima used his hardening to help hold it up while Bakugo pulled the civilian, it was a man, out. They immediately exchanged a glance upon seeing the man’s condition; it looked bad, definitely broken legs, ribs and maybe an arm. He also had a head wound that was bleeding excessively. “Alright Red, let’s get him out of here.” Bakugo said gruffly. Kirishima nodded and as they prepared to bring the injured man to the awaiting paramedics, he weakly pulled at Bakugo’s sleeve. “Wait, my niece she’s still in there somewhere, last I saw she was by the fountain.” Kirishima looked at Bakugo for confirmation that he could make it the rest of the way on his own, and Bakugo nodded. Kirishima set off, back into the smoke and heat.
As Bakugo carried the man to safety, he tried to keep him awake and talking after they cleared the smoky area. “Hey, don’t you go passing out on me old man.” He said gruffly. “Your name is Ground Zero right son?” the man asked. “Yeah that’s right.” “Can you promise me one thing?” “What is it?” “Please take care of my niece, Cecilia, when I’m gone.” “S--” Before Bakugo could fully answer,, the man was whisked away by paramedics for treatment. When the area was cleared and the ordeal was over, Bakugo and Kirishima headed to the hospital to get checked out, per procedure. “Hey nurse, is this the hospital where all the victims from the incident this afternoon were brought?” Bakugo asked. “Yes I believe so Mr. Ground Zero, is there a particular reason why you’re asking sir?” “There was a civilian brought in earlier, lots of broken bones, is he going to be okay? And his niece.” “Umm, let me check my chart sir. I’ll be right back.”
“What’s that about? You usually aren’t that interested in the civilians after we save them.” Kirishima asked, giving him a puzzled look. “It’s nothing, don’t worry.” “Ground Zero sir?” Bakugo looked up at her expectantly. “It looks like all the patients brought from the area you’re asking about are all currently doing okay.” Bakugo let out a small sigh of relief. “Thank you ma’am, we’ll be going now.” “No problem! Be safe out there Red Riot!” As they exited the hospital, Bakugo seemed distracted. “You okay man?” “Fine, nothing to bother with. That man we saved, he just asked me a weird question.” “What did he ask?” “If I would take care of his niece if he died.” Kirishima stopped short and gave him a worried look, “And what did you say?” “That’s the thing, he was taken away by the paramedics before I could reply.”
“Hmm, well I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, I hope they pull through.” “Yeah…”
The man lived, and so did his niece, so Ground Zero thought this would be the end of his ordeal, oh how wrong he was.
-----
Several years passed and Ground Zero, now in the top 10 in the charts, was sitting at his desk doing paperwork when there was a knock on his office door. “Mr. Ground Zero sir?” his assistant asked. “Yes? What is it?” He asked, looking up briefly. “There’s a man here to see you? A Mr. Ikeda? He says it’s an important personal matter.” Bakugo was puzzled at that, he didn’t recognize the name and he hadn’t been involved in any scandals recently. There was only one way to get answers though, so he decided to speak to this mysterious visitor.. “Okay, send him in.” He said. The assistant nodded and buzzed the man up.
Out of the elevator stepped a short man in a black suit and dress shoes.Yeah, no idea who this guy is.  “Ahh you must be the famous Ground Zero. It’s nice to finally meet you.” The man extended his hand out to shake and Bakugo took it. “Uhh, yes that’s me. My assistant mentioned you were here on an important matter?” The man nodded. “Please, step into my office.” Bakugo said, gesturing to the open door in front of them. Once they were inside, Ground Zero’s assistant shut the door behind them. “Please have a seat, uhh Mr. …” Bakugo said, awkwardly trailing off when he realized he didn’t remember the man’s name. “Oh dear, I didn’t introduce myself, I’m terribly sorry. I’m Mr. Ikeda a lawyer, and I’m here on behalf of my client Mr. Kobayashi.”
That name rang a bell somewhere in the recesses of Bakugo’s mind, but he pushed it aside for the moment. “Ahh I see. Well, what can I do for you Mr. Ikeda? Is this about property damage? Because if so, my legal team can help with that.”
Mr. Ikeda chuckled, “No sir, I can assure you it’s nothing of that sort. The truth is you have been named a beneficiary in my client, Mr. Kobayashi’s will.” Bakugo widened his eyes in surprise, “Really? I don’t remember having a close relationship with the man, this, Mr. Kobayashi.” “Are you sure? He came into my office several times near the end of his life as we were updating his will and he talked about you frequently.” When Bakugo still looked puzzled, Mr. Ikeda decided to try to jog his memory. “He specifically recounted the incident a few years ago when you and Mr. Red Riot saved his life and that of his niece’s.” Alarm bells began to ring in Bakugo’s brain. “Oh, yes, I remember him now. And he named me a beneficiary in his will?”
“Yes sir. He left a significant portion of his estate to you.” “I see, did he tell you why?” “He did, but I’m afraid I can’t go into all the details right now because I have another appointment across town. Here’s my card,” Mr. Ikeda said, standing up and handing Bakugo his business card. “Please come to my office tomorrow at 1:00 PM, we can discuss this matter further there. It’s rather complicated, legally speaking.” “O-Okay, I will stop by tomorrow then.” Bakugo replied, as he escorted him to the elevator. “See you tomorrow.” Mr. Ikeda said with a wave.
“Fukuzawa, cancel all my meetings for the rest of today and tomorrow.” “Yes sir! Should I move them to later this week?” “That works for me, thank you. Duskbreaker!” Bakugo yelled. “Yes Ground Zero?” “You’re in charge for the rest of the day, I have business to take care of.” “Yes sir!” His sidekick said. Bakugo changed out of his hero outfit and tried to gather his thoughts. So the man I saved in that disaster a few years ago named me in his will? I don’t know why I have such a bad feeling about this.
The next day, Bakugo went to the address on the business card; the building looked cold and sterile from the outside but once inside, he felt like he had stepped into a completely different building. Everything looked to be made out of cypress or pine, paintings hung from the walls and potted plants were strategically placed around the entryway. He finally made his way to the reception desk and stood there awkwardly until the receptionist looked up. “Hello sir, do you have an appointment with us or do you need to schedule one?” “Umm, I think I have an appointment, but it might be under my hero name. Mr. Ikeda didn’t make that clear yesterday when he stopped by my agency.”
“Oh yes, you’re Mr. Ground Zero correct?” Bakugo nodded. “Great! He’s been expecting you, go down the hallway to your left, his office is at the end.” “Thank you.” He replied, and followed her directions.
Despite his calm demeanor, Bakugo was quite anxious about this meeting; the words “complicated, legally speaking,” weren’t comforting at all. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door. “Come in!” he heard Mr. Ikeda’s voice call. Bakugo pushed the door open and was met with an office full of plush furniture and a big oak desk. “Have a seat and we’ll discuss your inheritance from Mr. Kobayashi.” Mr. Ikeda walked over to a file cabinet and pulled out a manila envelope.
“Okay, so Mr. Kobayashi outlined you and one other person as beneficiaries to his will but in this meeting we will only be discussing what pertains to you.” Bakugo nodded, gulping a little bit. Mr. Ikeda pulled his reading glasses out of a desk drawer and put them on fishing the papers out of the envelope. He scanned through the document, finally getting to the last page and cleared his throat. “So you have received a large sum of money from Mr. Kobayashi, a little over 1 million yen.” Bakugo’s jaw nearly dropped in surprise, “He left me that much? But why? Doesn’t he have family?”
Mr. Ikeda gave him a bleak look. “He does have a niece, but he was her guardian. To my knowledge, her parents passed away in a plane crash so she had to move here from the states to live with her uncle because he was her only family. Her uncle put all of her inheritance in a trust but since his niece is a minor she can’t access it until she is 18. That’s where things get complicated, he named you as guardian of the estate and guardian of the person.”
Bakugo blinked, “Wait, what does that mean exactly?” Mr. Ikeda sighed, “In simple terms, you have been put in charge of her finances and physical assets until she is 18, and you are now her legal guardian.” Bakugo fought the urge to stand up and raise his voice. “Wait so, now I’m just expected to take in this kid, that I don’t even know, and take care of her? I’m not even in a relationship at the moment and now all of a sudden I have to take care of a child?!” “I understand that this is a shock,” Mr. Ikeda said, “You are allowed to relinquish guardianship, but unfortunately since she has no living relatives she will go into the foster system.” Bakugo took a few calming breaths, “Can I have a few days to think about this?” “Of course! But decide soon, a child’s fate is in your hands here.” Mr. Ikeda said with a smile. Bakugo took another deep breath, “Okay, I’ll try to let you know my decision soon.” “Great! My assistant will walk you out, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to call.”
As soon as Bakugo was in his car, he screamed at the top of his lungs. He wasn’t quite sure what emotion he was feeling, anger? Loss? Guilt? All of the above? None of the above? All he was certain of was that he needed to figure out what to do. He wasn’t sure why Mr. Kobayashi had put this responsibility on him, he was just a hero in his twenties and now he was in charge of a little girl he had never met.
His mind flashed back to that day, and that damned promise. Heat was everywhere, the smoke choking, people screaming, people crying, and an old man, asking if he would take care of his niece if he didn’t survive this. He remembered the sense of relief he felt when he had learned that the man would be okay; since then, he’d saved many people, many survived, some didn’t. Those he didn’t save haunted him, but the old man and his mysterious niece lingered in the back of his mind, not ever occupying his daily thoughts, but it came up in nights where he wondered if he’d ever have to make a promise like that again, a promise to a dying man.
Bakugo hit the steering wheel with his palm, still at a loss of what to do. He decided that going back to the office in this mindset would be unproductive, calling his sidekick to inform them they’d have to take care of things for the day. Then he called his mother, asking if he could come over. Mitsuki of course, said yes, and he drove right over.
He didn’t even have to knock, his mother was opening the door and pulling him into a hug. Much to her surprise he hugged back, tightly, as if he didn’t want to let go. After they pulled apart, Mitsuki pulled him to the living room to have him sit on the couch. “What’s bothering you?” She asked. Mararu soon appeared, mugs of coffee in hand.
“I’m in a difficult situation.” Katsuki began, taking the mug of coffee gratefully. “What kind of situation?” Masaru asked. Bakugo took a deep breath and told them the situation, starting from the beginning. Masaru and Mitsuki’s eyes widened as he told the story. Once he was finished, they all sat in silence for a moment. “Well, what do you think the best thing to do is?” Bakugo asked, brows furrowed.
“Well, I don’t really know either honey.” Mitsuki replied, exchanging a glance with Masaru. “Personally, I think that you just have to weigh your options carefully. If you surrender guardianship, you’ll still be in charge of her assets right?” Masaru asked. Bakugo nodded, “Yeah, I think so. I think that’s what the lawyer said.” “Okay, with that in mind, are you confident that you’d be able to know what she needed if you weren’t living with her? You’d have her foster parents or whomever was taking care of her to deal with if she wasn’t living with you, and they might try to put their own agendas into whatever they ask of you in regards to those assets.”
Mitsuki nodded, “Yes, unfortunately there are a lot of greedy people out in the world, who might take advantage of the fact that you might just give them whatever because you’re so busy with your hero work.” Bakugo nodded at their words, taking a sip of his coffee. Masaru reached over and placed his hand on his son’s knee, “I hope you know that whatever you decide to do, we’ll support you fully. If you decide to have her live with you, we can help watch her on nights you have hero work, or when you have long missions.”
Bakugo breathed a sigh of relief that he didn’t know he needed, “Thank you, I needed to hear that. I’ll let you know when I make my decision.” After he finished his coffee, his parents walked him to the front door and waved as he got into his car. He took a long glance at the place that shaped him before driving off. Could I be that place to someone?
---
He pulled up to his apartment complex and got out with a sigh, he felt strangely defeated somehow even though he hadn’t even made a decision yet. He walked inside, nodding to the doorman, and rode the elevator up to his floor. His large apartment felt empty when he entered it, no lights were on save the one above the stove. He walked down the hallway and opened the doorway to his guest room, currently there was no bed and he was using it for storage; he stepped back and made a rectangle with his hands, like an artist trying to fit the world in a canvas, and imagined the room with a bed, and the walls perhaps painted pink, or whatever color little girls are into these days; and despite his usually prickly nature, the corners of his mouth tugged upward into a smile. Maybe… Maybe I should say yes.
He shut the door, a little surprised with himself; his eyes were drawn to the running shoes at the end of the hallway and pictured a smaller pair next to them. He shook his head, “I’m getting way ahead of myself here.” Maybe a run will clear my head.
Bakugo got changed into more suitable clothing and went outside into the warm evening air. After a while of running, he stopped at the park near his apartment and took a breather on a bench. His attention was soon grabbed by a little girl squealing happily as her father pushed her on the swingset. He wasn’t sure if the sight made his heart melt or hurt, but either way, he wanted to get home. He decided to walk back to his apartment rather than running. As he walked, he thought about the day's events, they had been unexpected that was for certain; he had a feeling that his heart was already swaying in a particular direction, but he wanted to at least take 24 hours on it, like Mr. Ikeda had said, a child’s fate was in his hands. He returned to his empty apartment, ate dinner alone, and took a shower. Before he turned his light out to go to sleep for the night, he took one last glance at the guest bedroom and as he crawled into bed for the night, he wondered if the child was doing the same. Is she lonely? He wondered as he stared into the dark, she must be. I can’t imagine being alone in the world. He wasn’t sure what possessed him to do so, but he threw open his curtains and stepped out into the moonlight on his balcony. She won’t be alone anymore, she’ll have me.
The next morning, the first thing he did was call his parents, they were overjoyed to say the least. He then phoned Mr. Ikeda, who told him to come in later in the day to sign the proper paperwork and discuss meeting his new ward. At the agency, his sidekicks could all tell that he was distracted but only Duskbreaker dared to ask him why. “Less chatting, more patrolling.” Bakugo replied. He pulled his assistant into his office and asked her to arrange for “the best children’s bed money can buy that a young girl would still like” to be bought and dropped off at his apartment. A confused Fukuzawa nodded at the request but nonetheless complied. “Right away Ground Zero.”  As soon as he could, he headed back across town to meet with Mr. Ikeda once more.
“How wonderful to see you again Mr. Bakugo, can I call you that?.” He said, shaking Bakugo’s hand across the desk. “Yes sir, I don’t mind. You too. So… how does this work exactly?” Bakugo asked. “All you have to do is sign a few papers, and then you will officially be Miss Cecilia’s guardian, and in charge of her assets.” “Okay, sounds good.” Bakugo replied, grabbing a pen from the desk with shaking hands. Mr. Ikeda marked the places he needed to sign with xs and handed them over to Bakugo to sign. Once Bakugo was done signing he wasn’t sure if he was elated or feeling physically ill. “When do I get to meet her? How old is she? Does she know what her quirk is yet?” Bakugo asked, the questions coming a mile a minute.
“We can arrange for you to meet her whenever you want, does tomorrow evening work?” “Absolutely, hero work permitting.” Bakugo replied, his heart was racing. “Cecilia is 8, her birthday is December 13th and her quirk is an emission quirk, I believe that she can emit flames from her fingertips up to a certain distance.” “Okay, okay.” Bakugo tried to commit these facts to memory, he knew just the person to help with understanding the fire part, even though it would be a pain to ask IcyHot for help. He was inwardly elated that she had an emission quirk that had to do with her hands, if she wanted to do hero work someday, he would be able to help quite a bit because it was similar to his own. “Well, that’s all I have for you today. Hero work permitting you shall meet your ward tomorrow night. I’ll call you in the morning with details of where to meet.” “Okay, thank you for being so helpful with this sir.”
On his way back to the agency, Bakugo called his parents, and then Kirishima. It was an interesting phone conversation to say the least, but once the initial shock had passed, Kirishima was supportive and offered to come over to help build the bed if necessary. “Order in and have drinks while we work?” “Just as long as you promise not to break anything Rock Hair.” Even over the phone, Bakugo could tell that his friend was smiling. “Stop smiling doofus, I’ll see you tonight.” “Yeah yeah whatever, see you tomorrow Dadugo.” Kirishima said, hanging up before Bakugo could protest about the new nickname.
Everyone at the agency could tell that Bakugo was both happy and nervous for the remainder of the day and the next. Bakugo was even nice to the civilians bombarding him for autographs for once. Finally, the evening arrived, luckily the city was quiet in his district and so he was able to get off and get ready for the important meeting. Bakugo got dressed in a suit, wanting to make a good first impression, but ditched the jacket upon looking in the mirror. Why the hell am I trying so hard? This feels ridiculous. He made a quick stop at a convenience store to buy some flowers and a teddy bear, “Hot date?” The clerk asked with a smile. Bakugo tried not to glare, but his nervousness made his response harsh. “Mind your own business.”
Bakugo pulled up to the restaurant and checked his hair in the mirror one last time. He sat down in the booth Mr. Ikeda had reserved, Bakugo was the first to arrive. He checked his watch, leg bouncing uncontrollably. He wiped his sweaty palms on his pants, sure that he’d never been this nervous in his life. When Mr. Ikeda and the social worker arrived, Cecilia in tow, Bakugo thought he was going to cry. They introduced her to him, then departed for another table, leaving Cecilia and Bakugo alone at the table.
“Hi, Mr. Zero.” Cecilia said quietly as she sat down. Despite his trademark gruffness, Bakugo chuckled, “No need for that. You can call me Bakugo, or Mr. Bakugo if you feel more comfortable. Heck, you can even call me Katsuki if you want to.” Once they each got past their initial shyness, Bakugo found that beneath her shy exterior lay a precocious and energetic girl, fascinated by the world around her and very well-spoken for her age. And Cecilia found that beneath Bakugo’s intimidating first appearance, he really was a kind man, and he was just as nervous about this as she was. (It also helped that he gave her a teddy bear, teddy bears always help.)
Once dinner was over, the social worker helped move all of Cecilia’s belongings into Bakugo’s car. The car ride was quiet, and once they moved all of Cecilia’s belongings into his apartment, they were both exhausted. “Do you want me to help you unpack tonight or would you rather wait until morning?” Bakugo asked. Cecilia thought for a moment, “I think tomorrow will be fine, thank you Mr. Bakugo.” “Okay, I’ll be up in the living room for a little while longer if you need anything. The bathroom is right across from your room if you need it.” Cecilia nodded, and began getting acclimated to her new space.
Bakugo was reading a book on the couch when Cecilia wandered in, “Umm Mr. Bakugo, would you read me a bedtime story and tuck me in?” she asked nervously. He looked at her with wide eyes, surprised that she would ask such a question. “Sure.” He answered slowly, “Umm, you pick a book and I’ll be in there in a second?” “Okay.”
Bakugo lingered at her doorway, not sure if he should just walk in or wait to be invited. Cecilia sat on the bed, new teddy bear next to her and book in hand. “You can come in and sit, you don’t have to just stand there.” she said. “Right, sorry. I’ve… never done this before.” Bakugo sat cross legged at the end of her bed, and read a few chapters of the book she had chosen; it was a series he hadn’t heard of before, probably American. After he was done, Bakugo awkwardly pulled the blankets up to the girl’s chin, “Goodnight Cecilia, anything you want for breakfast in the morning?” She looked up at him with a sleepy smile, “Chocolate chip pancakes?” Bakugo smiled, “You got it.”
Bakugo retired to his room to get ready for bed after she drifted off to sleep, feeling a weight lift from his shoulders; despite his nervousness about all this, it seemed to be going better than he thought it would. He switched the lamp off, and just as he was about to drift off to sleep a sniffling shadow appeared in his doorway blanket and stuffed bear in tow. “Mr. Bakugo, I had a nightmare, can I sleep in here tonight?” Bakugo tensed at the question, he wasn’t prepared for this, but he thought about how he used to go into his parents’ room at night when he had nightmares and figured this was the least he could do. “Sure, just be warned, I get up super early.” “That’s okay, I don’t mind.” Cecilia crawled into the bed, and Bakugo was grateful that he had invested in such a big one; he figured with all the messed up things that happened to this kid at her young age, this might be a common occurrence. Bakugo switched off the lamp once more, and said a goodnight. And they both drifted off into sleep, ready to embark on this new, awkward and unexpected journey of being a new “Dad” and being a kid living with a pro hero.
They didn’t know just how good yet, but things would definitely be good, and the goodness would officially start with chocolate chip pancakes.

So after 110 hours, I finally beat Persona 5 Royal. Before going into complete FFVII mode, I wanna lay out all my thoughts.
Blah, blah, blah, spoilers for everything under the cut.
To start off, I loved Royal. The gameplay was so much fun and it felt like such a natural evolution from vanilla P5. Probably my favorite change was what wad done with Baton Pass. Trying to pass to your entire party was very fun and very satisfying, especially if Joker got the ×4 or even ×3 and got to abuse a possibly charged Hassou Tobi lategame. It was pretty broken, but I don't mind things being broken once you go to the effort of figuring things out. Speaking of broken things—
Showtime attacks are super cool. I didn't know what to think of them at first because of how stupidly strong they are, but after I got to some harder boss fights where doing about 1k damage per attack would only get rid of about a small fraction of the shadow's health, I wasn't complaining.
(Also, I never actually got to see Joker and Violet's showtime. Oops.)
The fact that the damage scaled like that was really good, especially once you get into the third semester where party members have severe and colossal damage moves and even healer Morgana can do 150 damage per basic attack without buffs on an enemy without debuffs. The enemies' damage output remained kind of sad though, but uh....you can't win 'em all ;;
To finish showtime talk, Joker and Crow's showtime was heccin' great. I never skipped it. It was Batman in my animu JRPG so it was 10/10. It also did way more damage than most of my party members' showtime attacks so ey. It finished off that Yoshitsune request boss too with around 2.4k damage so I'm obligated to like it. On that note, how is showtime damage calculated? Do certain showtimes do more damage, or does it just depend on the offensive stats of the party members using it?
Technical damage was beefed up too, and I probably should have tried to take advantage of it more than I did but I never figured out how to make technical damage reliably knock an enemy down. I know that there was a way to do it but I never figured it out. Yes, yes, I know it was because I skipped tutorials but everything else was so busted, I never felt the need to go back and read said tutorials. I did read that book about technical damage though in-game, but it just added more technical combinations.
Onto other changes though, it could have been because I was playing on hard, but status ailments became about 10 times more useful. ...Actually, no, it was definitely because I was playing on hard, but even so, I felt like more bosses were weak to them when compared to P5. They went back to being mostly immune to them, especially in the new semester, but during and before October or so, status ailments became invaluable. It could have been because I sucked that much, but my party members, and even sometimes Joker, would get left with double or even single digit HP by near everything, even if I debuffed and buffed. Queen got regulated to a forget bot, but man it carried me through some boss fights. ... i.e., Kaneshiro's fight. Well, that and Mona's confuse.
I liked the Will Seeds too. They were a fun way to kind of change up the palaces and for me to hunt down. Even though yeah, they are pretty broken (especially with the accessory you get from the 2nd palace being able to get rid of elemental weaknesses for whoever has it equipped, not to mention the ability to give charge or concentrate to another party member), I still can't say I used them over my SP adhesives most of the time. I used the one that got rid of elemental weaknesses on Crow, but that was just because I could only use him and Joker at the time and did not want enemies to get another move on him to get another chance to hit either of them.
The changes to Mementos were amazing. Like the rest of them, they were pretty busted, but still. Amazing. I feel like I'm in the minority with this, but I didn't mind Mementos. In fact, I kind of liked going through the grind of going through it. Although...tbf, I kind of liked Tartarus too. Its 264 floors were a bit much, but I liked being able to turn off my brain, put on a podcast or YouTube video in the background for me to listen to then go through Tartarus in one or two in-game nights.
Back to Mementos, collecting stamps and flowers for Jose was fun, and being able to change the cognition for Mementos was busted. Since you can get EXP from auto-killing, you get over-leveled very fast. It doesn't help that you have to backtrack floors for stamps since they randomly generate, so you get even more money, experience, and items. On the bright side though, no, I didn't need to wander around singing "I've Been Working on the Railroad" with Mona and Skull for an hour and a half trying to find the materials for the Eternal Lockpick (which was renamed in Royal to Permapick ... I guess???)
Because of the changes you can make to boost item, money, and EXP gains, Mementos became the prime grinding area. Even more than the card shuffle thing in P3. Since you got so much EXP from ramming shadows even without leveling up EXP gain. I put all my stamps into getting more items and money until I couldn't anymore and I had near max every single crafting item, and never had to worry about the cost of anything ever. Combined with the money gains from killing shadows, you can also pick up sellable treasure from the item cubes in Mementos and it can end up selling for well over a million yen. So getting to max didn't even require Joker abusing the confuse status ailment or abusing the shadows with "You can do better than that."
I didn't mind the Mementos music, even when I was playing the game without something else playing for me to listen to, but now that Mementos does have new music, yeah, I realize now how much better it is. I wouldn't listen to it alone like I would Rivers in the Desert or anything, but it was a nice change. I listened to one of the songs before the game had its western release and didn't like it all that much, but actually playing the game while hearing it made me actually like it.
I got to level 99 though before the game was over. It made it so Joker and Crow were able to tag-team the Reaper then kill it in 3 turns. I had thought that trophy would have been a lot harder to get lol. It was pretty weird seeing the Reaper in such clear lighting though due to the new Mementos area though, I have to say.
Onto the bosses though...
I loved the changes to the bosses (except the 5th one but that's just because I hate everything about the 5th palace, even if Royal did make it about a million times more bearable).
Kameshida having cognitive Shiho and Mishima as helpers for the boss fight was such a good change, and made him about that much more hateable.
Madarame's boss fight in vanilla P5 was the hardest boss in the game for me, even on normal mode, but it was made so much easier in P5R. Madarame didn't bring back his painting form, but instead brought back elemental versions of himself specifically so the player can abuse Baton Pass. Baton Pass combos are extremely satisfying to pull off, so I enjoyed it immensely. Honestly, having that as the second boss in the game was so much of a better decision than what was in P5. That, or I'm still salty about all the deaths I had from fighting him the first time.
Kaneshiro was definitely harder, and I was a little stuck when he called his cronies out to guard him. Mona and Queen using confuse and forget while Skull and Joker attacked Kaneshiro made it a lot more bearable though. I also kept using spotlights on Joker so the enemies would attack him. He had Shiki Ouji equipped and they only ever did physical moves when my status effects missed, so I was never at risk for losing the fight. ... And then of course Skull and Queen finished it off with a showtime attack after Mona got yeeted.
Sphinx mom was a lot easier. I didn't know that the right dialogue choices made it so Oracle would guard you until someone told me, so I was sitting there surprised at how much easier it was lol. I did get stuck at the end though because it didn't look like I was damaging it. I thought Oracle needed to bring back the crossbow so I just kept buffing and healing. It took about 10 minutes for me to get bored and start attacking it again and it turned out I could attack it, but it was just that sphinx mom's HP wasn't visually moving before eventually going down. Joker still used Shiki Ouji which had learned an immunity to wind so. Easy victory (ignoring the part where I'm a dumbass).
I switched to easy mode for Okumura. I just did not care at all. I hate his palace, I hate the music, and the enemies could range from being easier to kill than the enemies in the first palace to being a pain in the ass, so I wanted to have it be over. If I didn't have an unreasonable hatred for the 5th palace though, I probably would have liked the change. It was challenging without being complete BS, at least much more challenging than how it was originally in P5. Having the enemies run off though did get pretty annoying when I was trying to beat it legit but I was just so done at that point, it was more on me than the game lol.
Part of the reason why I was so eager to get through Okumura's palace though was to get to Sae's palace. Because I love Sae's palace, and just in general, the entire month of November. It has amazing story bits, still the height of P5's story if you ask me, a great palace, and Whims of Fate is one of my favorite tracks from P5's OST. Sae's boss was even changed to when she spins the wheel, whatever element it goes to, she uses that element and her resistances would change. I loved that, and it was extremely fun to take what you more or less should have learned about enemies' attacks and their correlating weaknesses and use them for a boss fight. So much better than the original where you don't need strategy at all other than "hit her hard lol."
Shido's boss fight was changed to be super climactic. They made it easier for the sake of Joker being able to confront the dude that got him a criminal record and directly ruining his life, and I can't complain. It felt amazing to 1v1 him. The game fixed the possibility of being screwed by it by having him attack in a certain order like the twins do in their special fight, so that was nice at least.
Yaldabaoth's boss fight was the same. Still easy enough, as long as you're careful. Or...not careful but extremely lucky. I wasn't able to finish it off while it was charging up its almighty attack, but my entire party ended up dodging it so it didn't even matter lmao. Now that I think about it, it very easily could have been because of that one Will Seed accessory that makes you dodge attacks but... I don't care. I was still super lucky I didn't get wiped and be forced to start the fight over starting from the Holy Grail.
The new boss... Uhm... It was taking way too long so I ended up cheesing it with Haru's third persona's new move that basically makes you invincible for a turn halfway through the fight. ^^; Noir was a Vault Guardian bot, Queen just healed and took advantage of one of the tentscles' nuclear weaknesses to Baton Pass to Crow when she could, and then Joker and Crow did all the work. Crow's third tier persona's almighty move kicked ass and you know what else kicked ass? Hassou Tobi abuse. The other 2 phases weren't even really fights, so at least that kept it from dragging too much, despite all the phases it had.
When Joker and the boss had that punch-out fight though, I lost my shit. I was laughing so hard I started to cry and my back was hurting. I don't even remember why I thought it was so funny, but I was laughing my ass off. I couldn't even press X to get Joker to punch because I was laughing so hard. Right before it happened, I joked to my sister that a tutorial would pop up and suddenly the gameplay will have the controls from that P4 fighting game and you have to learn that in order to have one last showdown. And then I got the prompt to punch. Then Joker punched. And I started laughing.
11/10 would punch Adam Kadmon man again
On the topic of the new stuff though...
Kasumi/Sumire/Violet was pretty fun to use but badly, badly overshadowed by both Joker and Crow, at least during boss fights. She offered to join the party before Shido's palace and she really should have joined then. Maybe she would just be absent for the Mementos dungeon & Yaldabaoth/Holy Grail boss fights, but she should have been there for Shido's palace. I liked her wanted gimmick of being the crit'er, but when you get her, Mona's third tier persona learns an AOE Lucky Punch, Joker already has high crit, and I would always baton pass to Crow because of his severe almighty AOE ×3. Plus, the way I built my Joker with practically exclusively two personas, Yoshitsune and Kuguya Picaro, he was already the phys and light attacker except with the addition of being able to have an auto-concentrate at the start of every fight (I have no idea why—it's something with Yoshitsune but idk what it is), the charge skill, Yoshitsune's nature of tripling the effect of charge, and the additional electric damage. She should have been a party member before the new semester. Obviously this isn't the case for everyone, but for me personally, I didn't often find use for her, especially since she can't do colossal or even severe magic damage. She is a very good physical party member, but again, Joker already covers that better than any other party member can, including Skull.
Crow was a great party member though. I used him in every request and boss fight after I got him. I was a little salty he couldn't switch back and forth from Loki and Robin Hood but I suppose if he did, he'd make Violet even more obsolete lol. I liked Loki while playing P3, so I'm glad I was able to use that persona again. He had Debilitate which was amazing. Queen learns Checkmate when getting to the third tier persona, which is an AOE version of it, but honestly, whenever I was fighting a boss that I thought needed it at that point in the game, I didn't need it to be multi-hitting. Plus, it costed about 90 SP and no way I was using that over her healing, defense buffs, and nuclear damage.
But anyway, back to Crow, I loved using him. He basically turned into my almighty damage dealer, even with his somewhat weaker magic, at least compared to his strength stat, but considering the final boss fight, it was extremely helpful. It did take up a lot of SP, but I had 5 Somas, a ton of SP restoratives, and had basically asked Kawakami to make me either curry or coffee every single night I was able to, so I pretty much had an infinite supply of it.
It helped that P5R made Akechi a much more likable character too. I liked him all right in P5, but didn't find him all that sympathetic, and thought that the characters treating him so sympathetically was extremely jarring considering all the horrible shit he did (which includes making orphans of both Haru and Futaba). That still kind of holds true, but since you can actually build a social link with him outside of the story, you can see more of his character and it improved him in leaps and bounds. Not to mention that his 8th confidant rank was....something else ^^; having a section of the new story too with just Joker and Akechi, (and kind of Sumire too, but mostly just those two) was awesome. I loved seeing them team up to punch Adam Kadmon man in the face. Plus, having more time with him in the Phantom Thieves without pretense had him going "I am surrounded by idiots" basically the whole time he was there. Like—I even felt disappointed that Akechi was actually dead and he didn't survive. That's a huge improvement over from me wishing one of the dialogue options was "fuck you lmao" during his death scene at the end of Shido's palace when he asked the Phantom Thieves to promise him to change Shido's heart.
For Sumire though, she had a good character arc. Like her gameplay though, she was badly overshadowed by both Akechi and Maruki. Even still, I liked her character arc and everything, and her social link. Even if I ended up liking Kasumi more in the end anyway rip
That's kind of all I have to say about her, oof. She was good, but other elements took attention away from her pretty badly.
Maruki though... Maruki was amazing. He was a fantastic antagonist because I got to punch him in the face, his palace was amazing, I loved the music, the different sections were cool, and I even liked the color maze bridge puzzle thing. I definitely wouldn't like it so much if I ever replayed it, especially if I try to get that final Will Seed, which wasn't hard, but did take kind of a while, but I don't think I will be so it's not a problem.
He had such good motivations, and the fact that he didn't ever actually hurt anyone other than when he punched Joker in the face made him really sympathetic and redeemable to me. At the end of the day, all he actually wanted to do was make people happy and not have to suffer, and was willing to destroy himself in order to achieve it. But just like with every belief, it went too far and he took away people's free will and ability to pick for themselves. The kind of moral question about the entire thing was very interesting, and I kind of wish it was more further addressed. There should have been Sojiro or some other character that was perfectly happy in Maruki's alternate reality so they could challenge the Phantom Thieves in a way Maruki wasn't able to. Still, what was done was really good and I liked it a lot.
...
Even all that said, I have no idea why the hell Joker could not use Satanael. There was such a perfect opportunity to use it once Maruki evolved his persona to Adam Kadmon, a giant persona. Hell, it was still small when compared to Satanael. It's after beating Yaldabaoth so Joker should have access to it. It would have been epic to be able to use a giant Satanael in a normal-ish boss fight. I'm sure there are some explanations as to why, but the game never mentions it or even acknowledges Satanael so it doesn't count and I'm still bitter. The writers forgot that Joker has a persona literally as big as a cognitive god and that kind of broke some immersion for me. Immersion completely went out the window once Joker and Maruki started punching each other but STILL. Satanael's not that great a persona, but having it show up in the story again would have been so awesome to use a persona about as big as Shibuya more than once.
Hardly comparable to my beef about Satanael, but I wish that while the party members were acting as Phantom Thieves, or at least while they're in the metaverse, the names on their text boxes would change to their Phantom Thief names. There's no reason why they didn't, especially since the characters exclusively use their Phantom Thief names to call each other anyway. It's not a huge deal or anything, but I would have liked it.
I loved Royal, and totally think it's better than P5 vanilla. Its new semester kind of takes away from the superb ending of the vanilla game, but the new stuff still makes up for it. Don't get me wrong, you can still get the original ending from the vanilla game in Royal, at least I'm pretty sure you can, but it involves you missing out on all the new content, including Violet as a party member and getting Crow back, plus Joker's showtimes so it's not worth it imo
I wasn't actually looking forward to the game when it was announced, or even planning on getting it, but I had the Phantom Thieves' edition pre-ordered for me as a Christmas present so I wasn't going to...not play it lol. I'm extremely glad I got it though, even if I otherwise wouldn't have, and now that I have finished it, I'm very happy with the game. The gameplay's improved by leaps and bounds, and the new content was all amazing.
... And I got to punch Maruki in the face.
I did end up getting the platinum trophy for Royal too, so despite the Phantom Thieves den thing, I don't see myself going back to it, at least any time soon. It was an amazing experience, but I can set my sights back to FFVII now lol.
...Although, I did hear you can fight the twins and Lavenza so uhhh maybe i won't be shelfing it so soon—

Enjoy-N💛

Itachi is such a devoted boyfriend this can not be stressed enough once he’s in love there’s no going back unless it’s under extreme circumstances like they cheated on him or try to turn him in as he is a wanted man but Itachi is cautious before devoted so he would have already found out everything even remotely important about his s/o so that there are no sudden surprises. In a relationship Itachi does just about anything for his s/o could ask for even if it’s something drastic like “hey Itachi I need a super rare pepper from a village 10 hours away that’s about half a million yen can you go grab it? I need it for dinner” his s/o can bet their every belonging that the pepper will be on the table that night somehow someway the only thing is that he expects that same devotion back which doesn’t even have to be to the same extent, simply making him dinner and rubbing his shoulders when he comes home or something cute like trying to learn how to make his favorite dinner will have him over the moon with ease
Itachi doesn’t think about farthing the relationship to be completely honest, he gets stuck in the bliss of finally having a healthy relationship and if not brought up by his s/o he will never properly “pop the question” as he doesn’t see the need to since he has already decided to dedicate his life to them! He’s also not keen on having kids AT THE START of the relationship but again if brought up by his s/o Itachi will slowly warm up to either one or both of these ideas however he will definitely need an abundant amount of time to fully pick apart the pros and cons. When it comes to marriage Itachi will agree as long as his s/o compromises a bit by keeping the wedding small in guests the actual decorations or price is not a problem it’s just Itachi would rather keep everything intimate as for the kids...well in theory Itachi would love to have at least two kids but because he’s such an over thinker he’ll worry himself so much that the idea ends up getting scrap. Everything he thinks about sometimes gets brought up to his s/o therefore it really depends on who Itachi is dating because again it only takes some encouragement to get him over his own insecurities
After hitting a couple milestones in the relationship like a 5 month anniversary, moving in together, maybe even getting a pet together etc he strongly starts to think about leaving the Akatsuki and might even do it without telling his s/o until they specifically ask him when they notice he’s around more often to which he’ll most likely just say “There’s nothing to worry about anymore” with one of his signature small smiles. One of the main reasons for him doing this is keeping his partner safe and sound as it doesn’t take a genius to know that being in the Akatsuki brings death, the only unknown is if the death will befall their loved ones or themselves neither sounds right to Itachi as he’s in a constant state of happiness lately. No matter if he’s in the akatsuki or not Itachi prioritizes his partners life and is ALWAYS on the lookout for anything/anyone that might bring harm their way although it’s always subtle never truly showing the depth of his love because for the bigger chunk of his life he was closed up and became use to not being able to articulate his feelings while it’s not as bad as most Uchiha men cough cough Sasuke cough it’s still going to take lots of time and patience before he ever completely opens himself if ever
THE BIGGEST CLOSET ROMANTIC ALIVE like it’s going to catch his s/o off guard the first few times when they walk into the living room only to find a big healthy bouquet of yellow roses with red tips or his other favorite lavender roses (yellow roses with red tips mean falling in love and lavender roses mean love at first sight/I love you) he doesn’t get red roses because he believes his partner is much to unique for the lovely but overall too common flower. Dates are always very chill but super romantic there’s no pressure, no feelings of needing to make conversation just basking in each other’s presence! Some examples of his dates would be very well thought out picnics at places of importance such as where they first met, first kiss or even just a place his partner enjoyed in their childhood. Other than picnics the only other times Itachi plans dates outside the house is when he feels confident that no conflict is to come from traveling, on those occurrences he takes his partner to places that stuck in his mind during his times traveling for the Akatsuki like the hot springs in Yugakure (which means “hidden village in hot water”). The bouquets are weekly represents of his love/appreciation for his partner and the dates are as often as allotted by his partners schedule but if their schedule just can’t seem to fit in little vacations Itachi has no problems making cute little dates in the comfort of their own home from movie watching to cooking dinner before they get home he does anything that could make them blush and have them feel loved
NSFW
What a pure sweetheart, Itachi is a gentle yet passion lover! He wants to pleasure his s/o to the fullest extent and the want for their happiness can almost overshadowed his own during sex so having a attentive lover will help big time that way Itachi also gets satisfied. Foreplay is one of Itachi FAVORITE parts while yes the actual penetration is mind blowing it has nothing on the heated kisses, light tugs from the hair, the taste of his partner etc it almost overwhelms him but in the best way possible as he wants to touch/taste everything he’s allowed to. For Itachi his foreplay has to include lots of oral sex because the taste and intimacy including him having his head between two warm thighs really gets him rock hard but usually the oral sex is only for his s/o unless they beg to give him a blowjob (because who wouldn’t want to lol) blowjobs with Itachi are always fun but never rough as he hates the sound of gagging (for dark reasons as well;it reminds him of someone choking on blood and the last thing they want is to trigger a panic attack)
As for actual sex Itachi always rubs the head around their entrance as his only act of teasing because once he’s inside there’s absolutely no time waste. Is the king of hitting their g-spot/prostate without even needing a 9 inch dick because his stroke game is constant, strong and deeeeeeep. Every time he pulls out it’s slow but with no pause once the tip is right at the front then boom it’s back digging deep causing extreme ecstasy and to Itachi’s delight loud moans. Since Itachi wants to sate his s/o’s needs he has no problem switching positions at the maximum 3 times after that he gets a little annoyed but will most likely not mention, if anything he’ll began picking up his thrusts going a bit faster/rougher so they won’t have a want to switch positions all in all Itachi’s sex life motto is simply “why have sex when one could make love”
Let’s do some of his turn ons shall we?
Lingerie- The things Itachi would do to see  his s/o in some super lacy/extravagant lingerie it’s also a surefire way to get him in the mood!
Biting- Of course he’s not trying to hurt his s/o but sometimes he gets so lost in pleasure that he unconsciously bites down either on their back, under the collarbone or right near the shoulder while he feels bad when he sees it bruise something deep in him is happy they’re marked by him
Raw sex- He mostly just enjoys this because the feelings of not only the tightness but the wetness makes him wanna melt then on a more emotional level he feels honored that his s/o has trust in him to not make him put on a condom
Blindfolds/handcuffs- Not for him personally but on his s/o he likes the aspect that he can do whatever he wants and that his s/o once again trusts him so much
Then as for positions we have his top three:
Missionary- As boring as it may sound you can’t deny that it’s an extremely intimate position as they are both wrapped in each other's arms, leg intertwined and lots of eye contact which is Itachi a favorite!
Cowgirl- So long as his partner doesn’t mind Itachi would his partner to ride him as he gets to hold their waist, nibble at their nipples and even rub their clit/give them a handjob to maximize pleasure
The Hotseat- having his partner sitting right on his dick and grinding to meet his thrust will literally have him panting in his partners ear in this position his partner has a upperhand...that is until he reaches around then starts playing with them
Aftercare with Itachi is so sappy and cutesy a bystander could get a cavity if they watched too long. Right after sex Itachi is almost comatose;his body is just too heavy to move after sex so much so that he waits just a bit before getting up to grab a fluffy washcloth to wipe his s/o down of not only cum but their sweat/drool. Afterwards he half makes the bed (meaning he fixes the pillows and straighten ups the comforter while his s/o catches their breath) once that’s done he slips back in his boxers asking if there’s anything his s/o wants if nothing is given as a answer then he climbs back into bed gently pulling his s/o into a hug waiting for the moment they slip into sleep to whisper “I love you”

Excerpt from AKB48 Shinbun (September 2016)
Tumblr media
During [Mogi and Nomura's] photoshoot, a shadow crept into the studio. Peeping in during her break was Mukaichi Mion. She was the one who was eager for Nomura's swimsuit gravure but it was with Mion's partner in the ‘Mogion’ combi. Mion let out a "Woo~~" as she stared and claimed, "It's still nice though! Amazing!! But Mogi-san is mine... I’m looking forward to next month’s photoshoot too." And with a fearless smile, Mion headed to her own shoot.
Note: Mogi is currently doing a series of monthly gravure shoots for AKB48 Shinbun along with a different member for each issue. The September issue featured Mogi with Nomura Nao.
Flash Special Interview (October 2016)
This was your first time shooting by the sea, how was it? Since I’m from an inland prefecture, there isn’t an ocean’s edge and I’ve never been to it on a trip. So this was the first time I could experience a sea house, it was a lot of fun. I also want to have a photoshoot in the ocean but I actually can’t swim (lol).
This time, we’re shooting a gravure commemorating the sousenkyo senbatsu. In the sousenkyo, you impressively ranked 13th.   It was the third time I participated in the sousenkyo but it was the first time I cried. I ranked 29th during the preliminary results. At handshake meetings, my fans encouraged me by telling me, “It’s absolutely okay.” I thought I probably had a 10% chance to enter senbatsu, there was hope within my heart that I could at least enter undergirls. That’s why I was really happy when my name was called.
Your speech was also well received. Really? I was so nervous. Since my goal was senbatsu, I prepared a bit by thinking about my speech but when the event started, everything left my head. By the time it was the senbatsu announcement, I was happy but the other side of me was extremely worried about what I should say during my speech.
You’re put in a leading position in AKB48 more and more. Has anything changed? Although I’ve been chosen for the senbatsu numerous times now, I was concerned if it was really okay for me to continue being chosen. But I’ve grown to feel confident in my position. At the same time, there’s a sense of urgency to become a person who can contribute to AKB48 earnestly.  Even at concerts, I began thinking about how can we make it exciting. I think it’s no good if I only follow my seniors.
Do you have any goals for the future? First of all, I want to have an active role in the group that is worthy of 13th place. I was extremely pleased when I entered senbatsu together with (Okada) Nana-san and (Takahashi) Juri-san who are the same age as me. But as a group, I want to work with members from the same era and have activities that can gain hako oshis. I also hope AKB48 is able to continue on as the number one group. By the way, when Shimada Shuhei-san read my palm at the beginning of the year on AKBINGO, I was ranked the 3rd luckiest in the entire group. So in the future, I’d like to do my best so that I don’t lose this momentum.
Manga Action Interview (November 2016)
In the show “Kyabasuka Gakuen”, you changed roles from a yankee in “Majisuka Gakuen” into a hostess. That’s right. I’ve certainly seen plenty of hostess clubs in dramas but of course, it’s a completely unknown world to me. Just doing the gestures one by one is difficult. Up until now, I’ve mostly only acted with my members, so it’s fresh to have different male actors playing the role of customers each episode. Acting as a yankee and hostess are both unexpected roles for an idol, it’s tough but it’s fun. I hope those who are watching enjoy the gap [between idol and hostess].
The latest single “High Tension” was released on November 16th, the center Paruru-san (Shimazaki Haruka) will graduate this year, do you have any memories with Paruru-san? During “Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby”, Paruru-san took a break due to her poor physical condition. I was able to appear as her under (substitute) throughout the promotions at the time. After that, I met Paruru-san for the first time in a while and she kindly said to me, “Thank you for appearing even though it was also hard on you” which made me very glad. Since my physical condition was also poor back then, she was worried about me. I think I was able to grow precisely because of that time [as Paruru’s under].
This year, you served as AKB48’s center for “Tsubasa wa Iranai”, leaped to 13th place during the sousenkyo and entered the senbatsu. What is your next goal? Hmm, well, I’d like to release a photobook during my teens. I have a little over a year left until I turn 20 years old. I’m really not good with the cold, so I’d like to go and shoot it in a warm place like a southern island.
What do you do these days for comfort whenever you’re busy? I eat. Recently, I no longer have any likes or dislikes. I originally had a very unbalanced diet, there were a lot of things that I couldn’t eat during lunch when I was an elementary school student. I hated cheese and mayonnaise but now I’ve grown to love both. And understanding the taste of fish has turned me into an adult (lol). I also like to fiddle with my phone while I’m having a bath. I put it in a Ziploc bag and do things like update my SNS (lol).
