God I think it would be really fucking funny to see Felix's obsession grow so exponentially that he'd inevitably descend into madness and for Oliver (who may or may not have been a scheming gremlin from the start, either way it'd be great tbh lmao bc actually completly naive and innocent Oliver? That'd be a VISION) to be TOTALLY into it lmao. Also to witness Felix being an airhead in the beginning and then morph into something else entirely as the story goes on? Dhishdisjsks like it seems me that he initially acted with only good intentions and then sort of let things get out of hand but he immediately downplayed them like nothing. Like stealing boxers??? Inhaling pillows? Like what else is he gonna allow himself to do, stalk Oliver? Threat people? Like there's literally no internal fight about his actions at all lmao he just tells himself that nope, it's okay, it's perfectly normal, his conscience is totally fine with what he's doing and that's IT. LMAOOO!!! So I wouldn't be surprised at all (actually it would be downright funny and satisfactory after WIPIP tbh) if he became obsessive to the point of insanity.

Like sorta mirroring Oliver in canon but through his eyes you sorta narrate it as a sweet pink rom-com. I absolutely adore iiiitt!!!! And I adore you for writing these 5 chapters, I've been literally rereading them again and again before going to bed! Muah Muah *hugs*

I have a thick stack of fics on my “to read” list, but I haven’t yet started them.

I find it really difficult to read other works for a ship while I’m writing a story, bc the other fics scratch the itch in my brain, and I can lose that Must Write urge. I’ll share some of what I have read & plan to read under the cut.

just read all 3 chapters of “lovers alone wear sunlight” and omfg. i love the way you write!

it felt as though i was felix’s little friend, experiencing what he went through. like when a character breaks the 4th wall in a tv show or movie to talk directly to the audience. the imagery is wonderful and the description is insane. it feels so raw, like so human. in a way that isnt just the audience observing the characters but being alongside with them.

and the use of parentheses is amazing! it flows smoothly with the text and doesnt obstruct it.

i am enthralled by this and tried to leave kudos on every chapter.

hehehe omg i love that!!! LAWS is SO different to write from WIPIP (for obvious reasons) so it's a bit refreshing. I don't have to do Oliver's POV so I'm really able to fully delve into just Felix's perspective/his interpretation of what's happening to him. It's really fun to do Felix's thinking style and just kinda what goes on in his empty little brain hehe and,,,, i am so so delighted by this message literally my heart is SO warm i try so hard to make it feel real AHHHH

Biggest plot twist in LAWS would be ollie having his bisexual awakening (finally!) because of FARLEIGH.

I can imagine it already… Ollie sidling up to Felix, saying “you’re my best mate and I have something to tell you.” Felix perking up because of course ollie can trust him, was this a confession? Finally? And then oliver hitting him with the “im gay and its bc of your cousin. Can you set us up?” And felix starts planning homicide

felix would literally throw the biggest tantrum, chewing on drywall, throwing himself on the floor and kicking his feet

I hope it's not a weird question but I know you like scents and I wonder what you think Oliver and Felix's perfume would be for canon era and wipip era (I remember you mentioned Acqua di Gio for Oxford Ollie already) I hope you're having a nice week 💕

so for canon Oliver and Felix I'm giving myself the challenge of ONLY doing colognes that would've been accessible to them in 2007.

okay, I think Canon/Oxford Days Oliver wouldn't have worn cologne before meeting Felix. I think AFTER meeting Felix, he probably started and picked something classic, but not necessarily something that really fit him? That's why I picked Acqua di Gio. Felix probably helped him pick it out. It's not too expensive and a pretty standard go-to for colognes.

For WIPIP Oliver, I think he finally figured out what he likes. Probably leaning toward spicy, warm, woodsy. I also mentioned he liked cinammon and I think WIPIP Oliver is willing to spend on a good scent, so I was thinking in line with Angels' Share By Kilian.

Canon/Oxford Days Felix, on the other hand, I think really leans toward "masculine" scents and probably likes the most expensive he can get his hands on lol I imagine him being into leathery or amber-heavy colognes, mainly because he thinks it makes him smell "cool" and covers up the smell of cigarettes the best lol so maybe Tuscan Leather Tom Ford or Interlude Man Amouage (I'm leaning toward Interlude Man Amouage more).

WIPIP Felix I think is a bit more in touch with himself for what scents he actually likes. He's fine with a bit more "feminine" (I hate gendering scents but I'm trying to think like a college-aged boy from 2007 ok HAHAHA) vibes and I think leans towards citrus/light scents. The type to smell fresh, like summer and sunlight, maybe a bit floral. Maybe Neroli Portofino Tom Ford, Virgin Island Water Creed, or Replica's Sailing Day and Beach Walk.

Also WIPIP Felix definitely had a bottle of Acqua di Gio that he'd sniff sometimes during all the years apart.

teehee I thought a lot about how Emerald kinda confirmed that Felix probably had a different costume planned, but then ended up doing the wings just to be spiteful/not wanting to match with Oliver and so then I was like "hmm 🤔" It had to be MATCHING SOMEHOW FR FR

so what I pictured is LITERALLY the exact same as Oliver's, besides the base color. So same green leaves and red berries, same type of horns (except I did kind of picture Felix's to be more golden because he's just kinda slay like that)

my thought process is this: Thinking literally of them as deer (oops animal referencing again), they are part of the "herd" but are outliers; a black deer and a white deer. Different for completely opposite reasons, but inherently the same in terms of "othering" or being an outsider.
