Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

SINNOH BATTLE FRONTIER!!! JUST THEM IN THEIR ENTIRETY!!! RAGHH!!!! I just think they’re neat :)

Theyre like the epitome of vitriolic best buds to me. Their designs rule. Everyone’s got autism swag in one way or another. The sillies.

Unpopular opinion about your fandom?

SUN AND MOON WAS GOOD! USUM WASNT! I don’t know why the pokemon fandom sleeps on sun and moon specifically because it’s about as experimental as black and white with a very nice story to go along with it. Hau was a wonderful rival.

USUM on the other hand like. Ruins the story a lot for me. Especially with how they treated Lusamine. I appreciate the extra content a lot I like legendary hunting and also Ultra Necrozma is one of the most memorable battles in the series to me. But also FUCK that story sucks so hard. Especially compared to SM which arguably has one of the best in the entire series.

What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom?

If there’s one thing I hate about the Pokémon fandom it’s how fucking obnoxious they can be with how much they hate the modern games. Like there’s the whole 7 hour ORAS video essay we’ve all seen, but also there’s the video series of this one guy completely picking apart SWSH like his life depends on it.

And like I wouldn’t care as much if it wasn’t like. The only sort of content you could find. I think the modern games really aren’t as good as they could be either! I agree with some of these people on certain things! But holy shit sometimes I just wanna see cool challenge runs of the DS games without having to find “modern Pokémon is garbo and here’s why” in my recommendation box. Also twitter is a hells cape and it’s inescapable.
