thinking about a modern slice of life au for my ocs (which is really justmostly merrit/kane and co rn i cant Not think about them and only them) to cope with the fact their main/canon universe is Bad and Hell

and also they tend to have diff hair/eye colors since its supposed to be real-world adjacent so karrit fits this meme now

they get marriaged or somethingand im rambling more under cut

merrit is able to come to terms with what she wants quicker in this au cuz Various Circumstances do not make her lock herself away so she gets the hell away from her family and transitions and stays with chloe for a while. and then chloe starts a band and merrit manages for them.and somehow they end up in the uk and kane is there and hes like Hi Iam also transgender with family problems and they kiss about it (eira and chloe were dating prior and thats how kane was able to get backstage pass to even meet merrit). Kane probably still doesnt medically transition i think he's fine with what he has and sees it all as masculine regardless and also revels in being contradictory to what people expect of him. and i cannot go into story beats because there's stil gonna be implied spoilers to sab here im just Insane and i like my ocs goodbybe
