Lol Alhaitham and Kaveh cause well *___* they’re the best and they live in my mind went free xD also yay another genshin hyperfixater I’ve been hyper fixated on genshin since version 1.0… it’s only gotten worse lol send help! I hope you get some fun asks :3

Hmm...

K/aveh first cuz he's a senior

-Definitely has stuck sneezes

-Incredibly hitchy

-He's a bit sensitive to dust but it's not immediate, more of a slow tickling sensation that increases the longer he's exposed to it

-I dunno if he has an alchohol sensitivity but if he did... imagine him being all angsty and having to sneeze into his sleeve because he never remembers to carry a handkerchief

-K/aveh completely carries a handkerchief because he's dramatic asf but it's probably the fancy kind and not the practical kind

-His immune system is rubbish because he's bad at taking care of himself

- and he is incredibly dramatic when he's sick. He's written a will once when he had a particularly bad cold.

And Alhaitham... our lovable control freak

-His sneezes tend to be harsh. Not too loud... just forceful.

- is amazing at holdbacks

- Holds back until he physically can't anymore

-Except when sick because that would be a waste of energy

-Body temperature runs cold (hence the cape)

- Does care for others but it's more wanting them to be at peak productivity than sympathy

-Follows the medical book's instructions for all health related things

-Will work through a cold as long as he can actually work. Otherwise, he has no problem taking off.

-Al/haitham's headphones tend to fall off when he does sneeze unstifled

a drabble with kaveh with a cold? maybe he's trying not to sneeze on the blueprints he's working on but having a rough time?

(ive never actually written Kaveh before so sorry if this is OOC)

If asked, Alhaitham would probably say that Kaveh would one day work himself to death.

That... probably wasn't too far off, to be honest.

Shivering slightly, Kaveh pulled the blanket around his shoulders tighter, making sure it wouldn't fall onto the page and get stained by the ink. He felt like he'd been at this for hours, but a quick glance out the window showed that the sun was nowhere near close to rising.

It likely wasn't the best decision for him to be working on something in the middle of the night while sick, but Alhaitham had all but trapped him in his bed throughout the day, (something about making sure he "didn't contaminate anything"), and Kaveh hadn't had a single opportunity to actually get any work done.

Which, of course, meant that as soon as Alhaitham went to bed, Kaveh had gotten up and immediately gone straight for his work desk. His client wanted these blueprints done soon, he couldn't let some measly cold get in his way.

Even if said cold was seemingly doing it's best to do exactly that.

Kaveh's breath hitched, and he stubbornly pinched his nose shut with his free hand. Not only would sneezing right now be an awful distraction to the work he was doing, but any sort of noise was sure to wake Alhaitham. The man was an infuriatingly light sleeper.

But, even with his nose pinched shut, he could tell that he would not be able to hold back this sneeze for long.

"Hh-... heH... hhaH'nGKcT!!" Fuck, stifling that had hurt, and also done nothing to ease the tickle in his nose. He removed his hand from his nose to sniffle, attempting to wipe his nose on his sleeve, which turned out to be a mistake as his breath desperately hitched again. "HhiH- hAH'TSChH!! HaA'gTCH-uu!"

Dammit. The sound of blankets being shuffled and feet landing on the floor was all Kaveh needed to know that Alhaitham had definitely heard that.

"Kaveh." Think of him and he shall appear, Alhaitham stood in the doorway to Kaveh's room, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed. "I do believe we agreed that you were to sleep the night through, and only attempt to work tomorrow."

Kaveh let out a congested sigh, setting his pen down. There was no way he was going to win an argument with Alhaitham right now.

Alhaitham stood in the doorway silently, simply watching as Kaveh slowly got up and made his way back to his bed. It was only when the other was completely under the covers that he walked in, heading to turn the light off.

"If I catch you doing this again, Kaveh, be warned that I will tie you to the bed. We don't need you contaminating your work materials."

"You don't even touch them."

"They'd still be contaminated."

"...Whatever."

i am so sick of seeing ka/veh only being used to fuel ha/ika/veh and other ships im gonna fuckin morb man. im so glad we got this new fansong that has nothing to do with al hai/tha/m but ka/veh's ACTUAL character i never talk abt how ka/veh is one of my fave g/enshin characters if not my favorite s/umeru character but i can rarely find k/aveh content outside of ship stuff
