Onze zoon is gek op ‘piratenschepen’. Langzaam begint hij te leren dat niet ieder schip van hout een piratenschip is, maar dat hier vaak hele andere historische verhalen achter zitten. Op Texel genoot hij van het prachtige diorama in museum Kaap Skil. Via een speciale kijker zijn de verhalen te beleven die schuilen achter die houten schepen die in de 16e, 17e en 18e eeuw de wereldzeeën hebben bevaren in de tijd dat Nederland een van de meest bepalende zeevarende landen was. Wat een tof museum en wat een leerzame expositie! Uiteraard gaf InspectJurre (stem via de link in de bio) dan ook een hoog cijfer aan @kaapskil in de @museumkids_nl competitie! ————— Our son loves ‘pirate ships’. He is now starting to learn that not every wooden vessel was one. The great exposition at museum Kaap Skil helped him learn more. During the 16th, 17th and 18th century Dutch ships sailed the world’s oceans searching for wealth to be gained.
