I'll have a Lambert to go with him, too, but I'm still waiting on the modded Sheepy head.

I got kits of this dude posted over on my Ko-Fi, they were designed by AelithArt and served as inspiration for my Runway Rodent: ReAnimated mod.

I included the option to have white "bone" parts or just single color. You can find the listing for them here.

These make great beginner BJD since being a kit it allows you to string the doll and do a little cleanup if you choose to. 🤗

Dollblr Intro!

Hello lovely people! My name is Pleiades, and this is my blog, dedicated to the doll I'm trying desperately to make, Bubblegum!

He's going to be 3d printed out of PLA, and then sanded like hell to make him nice and smooth. Right now, this blog will be dedicated to posting progress pictures of him, as well as his wig, eyes, clothes, and any accessories I might make!

His stringing day shall be his birthday, and after that, I'll post pretty pictures of him and interact a bit more with the community, as well as try to drum up community for 3d printed filament dolls specifically.

Eventually, I plan on branching out into making Kabbits, but that's on the back burner until I'm sure I can handle the work required on the free patterns on Thingiverse! But if anyone from the Kabbit community has tips, please reach out!

Kabbit Caretaker! This was all a very elaborate fanart project I’d been working on since I laid eyes on the sprites Whitevault was working on during one of his gamedev Twitch streams. Now it’ll be featured in the game! Man, I can’t wait for you guys to check this game out when it’s released.

Thoughts that were not his own had started to flood him, and he took in a breath. Ever since they’d become aware of this situation it became more difficult to keep things at bay. But he’d wanted to keep that privacy for them both. However, he couldn’t deny that it came in handy when trying to pin point just want exactly was going on when he was distant like this.

Avoiding him was also something he’d found that he was getting more and more irritated with. and at times it felt like Benji wasn’t the only one doing so. He lets out a slow breath, nodding his head to show he’d heard him as he stepped over. Loosely wrapping his arms around his shoulders as he dropped his chin onto the top of his head. 

Letting his fingers gently brush through fur as he closed his eyes for a moment, collecting himself to the best of his abilities, exploding about this wasn’t going to do either of them any good.

Stay calm. Collected.

“Benji.....We need to talk about it.” What was a loose grip tightens a little around his shoulders. “I know you don’t want to talk about it, which is why you’ve been avoiding me like I’m a bear trap. But we need to.”

“You work so hard and make a lot of progress.....and then she rears her ugly head and sends you flying back to square one.”

“I’ve stayed out of it at your insistent request out of love and respect for you, as you’ve done with me in the past. But Benji......it’s not just ‘your problem’ anymore.” he buries his face against his ears, fingers still brushing through fur.

“She can’t keep getting away with this, things are different now then they were last time......”

Something had to be done. This was the straw that broke the camels back. His dedication and respect to Benji went far, but those same attributes meant when little bitches decided to start crying wolf and he no longer had his background as a deterrent to doing anything about it....

“You helped and pushed me to keep going against the old bitch even when they started speaking against me, now it’s my turn. You need to tell your side of things.”

Hi, i’m KC, and I started this blog to track my progress on a new hobby. I’m away from home right now, but this sweet kid is waiting for me to come back. This is a resin 3D printed Kabbit doll (sold on Etsy with the creator’s permission). I’ve never customized a doll before but I’m excited to try it out! I’ve watched lots of videos and done some research, plus I’m willing to make mistakes. Right now, the plan is to base this doll on Tohru from Fruits Basket— I was utterly obsessed with both BJDs and Fruits Basket in middle school, so it seems fitting to come back to both as an adult. I’ll be sharing updates as I keep working on this doll and would appreciate feedback or advice along the way!

She rubs at her sleep blurred eyes with the heel of her hand. Trying to blink away the sleepiness, tilting her head a bit as her partner made her quiet request.

With her vision clearer than before, she glances toward the clock. It was still early enough to make a call or two. Though said individuals would be rather annoyed about the whole thing.

She picks up her glasses from the nightstand and slips them on, turning her full attention to the lovely cat monster, whom had dropped her chin on her chest to make this quiet request.

Fingers lovingly pushing back the bangs that covered her eye, while the other hand stroked her cheek with a thumb.

"Well that entirely depends on if Minnie and Lola can both cover this morning. If not, then I'm afraid you'll have to tell the world to fuck off either at work, or potentially in bed alone~" she teasingly taps the tip of the felines nose, before grabbing her phone off the charger and going about the process of making the calls.

Both girls sounded like they'd already been awake for some time, which considering how early it was, made her shiver just a little. She used to be up far earlier than this and she knew it, but with the extra warmth of her partner...she'd been sleeping in longer lately.

She swipes the end of the last phone call, and gives a small shake of her head. "I swear you prearranged this somehow...We have the morning covered, but we still have to come in for the afternoon. No if's and or but's about it Missy~".

I finished up my cyclops head for a new Kabbit/Shadow High hybrid.

I made them an outfit and a quick wig that may get dyed.

(Kabbit is a 3D Printable BJD by Aelith Art, he sells the files through his Etsy and Patreon and encourages remixes and new designs utilizing his files. I took one of his head designs and did some modifications and additional sculpting to create my Cyclops sculpt. I am planning to sell cyclops heads to fit RH/SH on my Ko-Fi.)

I've finally gotten around to try printing some of the Stl doll files I bought and found now that I have a 3D printer that doesn't suck. I'm still learning about supports and I've had several failures, which is very frustrating as resin isn't cheap and the process takes hours. I'm also bad at judging how big something is cause on my computer it looks big enough, but the actual build plate is actually quite small. Still it's nice to finally hold a finished doll

So far I've printed Dollightful's bunny doll, remixed version with extra joints by MoonlightJewel on Thingiverse.

I scaled it up about 50% for my second try and it's a lot more manageable lol. Gonna be working on one with a friend of mine for a fun craft day.

The second doll I printed was Kabbit human bjd by @aelithart that I purchased on Etsy. This one I had a few user error failures but they were easy fixed with a few more supports. This is one of the bigger dolls of my collection and it's a chunky hunk of resin lol. I plan on buying more files in the future for sure. Now for the hardest part, customizing. Decisions, decisions.
