Yesterday i became the winner at auction of a small painting by Frank van Hemert. Followers of the blog know of my admiration for this artist and this small paintimng fits perfectly between the drawings i have in our collection from the same series . The painting “Initiatie” was painted in 1992, measures 50 x 41 cm and has the typical van Hemert touch. Green and red Paint is “worked’ into a composition as a background for a grid of orange stripes.

For those that want to know more about this painter who has stayed true to his approach to art and has presented his works all over the world , here is a link to a nice ( english subtitled ) video in which van Hemert presents and explains his work.

oh wow thats cool! im on ar 45 and i personally love using zhongli, bennett, razor and my traveler but my friends make fun of me for using her bc she’s bad. so currently, i’m trying to build sucrose as a replacement.

for enemies, i really hate fighting the whopper flowers, hilichurl chieftain, and the electric fatui skrimishers. its not bc they’re hard to defeat, but it’s bc it’s time consuming haha. with the electric fatui, they activate their shield and it takes me forever to break it.

how about you? have you explored all of dragonspine yet?

tell your friends traveler isnt bad at all tf 🤨 honestly theyre so op bcs you can just change the visions like flip flip... wait till electro traveler comes around. but your mains are very cool ben and razor are the best boys!! sucrose and zhongli are so op honestly both of them on the same team seems so godly.. also ar 45... MAN thats so cool pls my favs are xinyan, razor, chongyun and barbara <33 theyre just very amazing and i love using them though i havent gotten razor (yet) but i did have him in my old acc!

and your enemies,,, i agree. theyre so annoying :') i just did the albedo quest where you have to defeat the anemo + hydro + cyro fatui and i had to do it three times bcs poor ben kept dying. but for me i kind of dislike defeating the ruin hunter because of the lag on my phone that makes it impossible to run way too much.

ive explored around 40% of dragonspine since the frost bar kind of gives me anxiety :')) but its fun so far!! with the new mobs & new features the game has been so so much cooler. how's your exploration going? + what kind of biome do you think we would have next?

im on ar28 currently after around three weeks?? of playing on this new acc,, my old on got hacked sadly and the server thing, i looked it up and it said if you picked the server that corresponds to your region (example: you live in germany, and you pick the europe server), it'll have a higher ping!

basically it would run faster & smoother if you picked the region you live in. im not sure if co-op between different regional servers work or not though, sorry :')
