Succubus Pt 2 (M)

Pairing: Jiwoo x Reader (S) Prompt: Succubus/Incubus/Demon Word Count: 5K
Warnings: Smut, angst
~Admin V
Part 1
It’d been two years since you summoned Jiwoo and you couldn’t remember how life was before her. Of course, your time together was deeply sexual, but it had become more than that.
After only a few days of your arrangement, Jiwoo decided that she didn’t want you to work, where someone else used her body for a minimal amount of money. She took care of your financial obligations which allowed you to pursue interests you actually cared about, such as writing, art, dance, and cooking. This also allowed her to make you cum anytime she wanted, but you suspected it wasn’t the only reason she did this.
Other than sex, your relationship with one another grew in other ways. You often asked her questions about herself, her hobbies, if she had a life outside of being a succubus. She also asked you questions about favorite foods and activities you enjoyed which is how she learned of your love for the seaside. This prompted her to further spoil you and buy you a little beach cottage to live in.
At first, she was reluctant, but after some puppy-dog-eyes and other ways of persuasion, you were able to convince her to go out with you, as if it were a date. This led to other dates and outings together. She even agreed to meet your friends. There was excitement in seeing both her approval and opinions of them, as they showed the same for her. She was much more hesitant about you meeting her friends, being a demon and all. She finally gave in and allowed you to meet another succubus, Somin, but made it clear she wanted you to never meet J.seph or Matthew, who were true Hell demons.
When you got sick, she took care of you. She prepared hot soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. She tucked you into a blanket cocoon. She insisted on eating you out because she claimed the rush of endorphins would help you feel better. Then she’d tell you stories until you fell asleep wrapped in her arms.
She stayed with you even when you weren’t fucking each other. She’d watch you read books and paint. She also danced with you and encouraged you when you exercised. The two of you could sit in comfortable silence, not interacting at all, but existing together in the same space.
It wasn’t just sex between you, or a contract of requirement. It was love. Jiwoo had never said it, and you yourself were a bit afraid to admit it, but in your heart, you knew it was.
That’s why you decided to plan this special anniversary dinner for her. You had a surprise for her. You couldn’t be sure how she’d react, but knowing there was love, you expected a good outcome.
The table on the balcony was all set up in fancy dishware and folded cloth napkins. You made her orange chicken and were sure there were absolutely no carrots in the rice and mixed veggies. In the house you had a myriad of lit tea candles. You even made your bed up in the soft pink sheets she’d gotten you for your birthday.
You were pulling the crab Rangoon out of the oven when you heard the winds of her appearing behind you. Her arms snaked around your waste and her lips were at your left ear. “What’s all this, pet? Special occasion?”
After setting the hot tray down on the counter, you turned to face her, unable to hide your smile. “A special occasion, yes.” You gave her a chaste kiss.
Your smile grew as you watched her pretend to not know what today was. “Hmmm, I know it’s not your birthday, as we only recently celebrated that.”
“You know what today is, queen.”
She gasped with desire when you called her by the name. She pulled your hips flush against hers, her lips but centimeters from yours. “I’d never forget the day we met.” And with that you were kissing again. It was much more passionate as she sucked your lower lip into her mouth, licking then nibbling it. When you moaned she slid her tongue in against yours. Your head spun, never getting used to her sweet cinnamon taste.
You pushed her back, breathless for air. “Don’t you want to eat dinner first?”
She gave you a knowing look. “We both know life is uncertain so we should always have desert first.” Jiwoo softly chucked at your little pout.
“But all the food will get cold.”
Grinning against your lips, she spoke into you. “I don’t care.” And with that her tongue was back in your mouth, sliding like satin with yours. The kiss deepened as you were being led into the bedroom. Jiwoo’s mouth moved to your neck causing you to cry out in pleasure as she began undressing you. Likewise, you sloppily pulled at her clothes until they were off her.
Pulling back, her hands lingered on your hips before she turned to crawl on the bed. After propping up the pillows she wanted and making herself comfortable, she stared at you, making you shake with need. You whimpered, still stunned at her beauty.
She smirked. “Come sit on my face, babygirl.”
Carefully, you crawled on the bed and placed a knee on either side of her face. Your ass slightly rested on her collarbone, but you kept most of the weight on your knees. You leaned forward to grab hold of the headboard. “I’m ready, mistress.”
Your moan was instant when her tongue poked at your clit. She lapped at it making your eyes roll back. Jiwoo held onto your thighs, keeping her pace while licking you. Jolts of pleasure streamed from your clitoris, moving down your legs to your toes and up your body, radiating in your chest with each press of her tongue against you. As you started panting, she squeezed your thighs and switched from licking to sucking. The white heat of the orgasm was building, making you grip the bed frame harder. Your body started shaking and you screamed out her name. She sucked harder until you climaxed. Your moan echoed in the room, if not the whole cottage.
You could feel the cum dripping down, and as she savored it, she pushed a finger inside you, moving it around in a circle feeling all your edges. Her focus of licking was in the areas around your clit. Another finger pushed into you, moving in the same circular motion of her licking. She kept the pace slow and even, causing shivers to rip through your body. Cries of pleasure mixed with her name as she brought you to the edge once again.
After you came once more, Jiwoo tapped your thighs, signaling for you to lift up. You maintained your grip on the headboard as she slid out from under you. Too focused on regaining your breath and your heart making your chest vibrate, you didn’t see it, but you heard her materialize her silk pouch of toys. It took her only seconds to fit the strap-on in place then she knelt behind you. “Ready, pet?”
Nodding vigorously, it would only be audible to her as you whispered, “Yes, please Jiwoo.”
She placed the tip at your entrance then held onto your hips, pushing all the way in. Desire flooded from your lips. As usual, she pulled out slowly, leaving only the tip in then thrusted hard and fast back in. The angle made the head of the dildo hit your g-spot.
             “Tell me, babygirl.”
“Fuck, it’s so good, Jiwoo. You’re so good.”
Pulling almost all the way out ever so slowly then pumping back in hard made you cry out with each thrust. You continued to hold onto the headboard, leaning into it with each pump. She’d made you so wet from her previous ministrations, in glided in effortlessly, hitting your walls and pleasure-points so deliciously.
“Yes, yes mistress,” you moaned as she rubbed against the g-spot.
She moved one hand to your breast, tweaking the nipple, her other found its way to your clit to rub up and down as she pushed into you, and her teeth found the crook of your neck, nibbling and leaving small love bites. Thrusting, tweaking, rubbing, biting, she had you close again. You leaned your head back on Jiwoo’s shoulder. You turned to kiss her, only adding to the buildup of endorphins. Your hands left the bed frame, one resting on top of Jiwoo’s holding your breast, the other over her hand rubbing your bud. She pressed her body against yours, holding you against her as she pumped hard into you.
Before you knew it, you’d reached your third orgasm of the night, and you knew Jiwoo was anything but finished. As she slowly pulled out all the way this time, you whined at the sudden emptiness.
She turned you, then pulled you into a messy kiss. Your hands grabbed at her shoulder blades as hers wove into your hair. The warmth of her breath, silky press of her tongue against yours made you lightheaded. Your breasts pushed against hers, causing you to groan when you felt her pert nipples. Her hand wandered to your front again. After a few swirls on your clit, she continued moving her fingers until she pushed two fingers in you. It was such a different feel from the dildo, but it was her, and she still made you quake and squeal with longing.
Letting you catch your breath as an especially loud moan left you, she began leaving small kisses on your collarbone. “What do you want pet? Tell me how to make you feel good.” You moaned as her thumb rubbed against your clit while she continued fingering you.
“I,” more pleasure sounded, “I wanna ride you.”
A mischievous chuckle came from Jiwoo. You were close to exploding further, but she stopped right before you were at the precipice. Her smile grew when you whimpered. “I want you to be this close, this sensitive as you ride me, babygirl.”
She again made herself comfortable as she lay on her back in the bed. You reached for her hands while she helped you to be in a straddling position. The strap-on was still covered in your earlier ejaculate, making you excited and shake in anticipation. Jiwoo squeezed your hands and you both stared into each other’s eyes as you slid down on her.
Your mouth opened at the stretch. You’d never get enough of her.
“You’re so sexy, pet.” Her lips parted after hearing a particularly loud cry from you. “You’re not even moving yet and you’re ready to burst.”
It was true. You hadn’t moved since sinking down on the dildo, but you were ready to climax again.
“Not yet, baby.” Her words made you whimper with need. She slid her hands to your waist, the sensation giving you goosebumps. “Ride me.”
Biting your lip to give you some control, you began gyrating, rolling your hips in an even rhythm, holding your breasts since Jiwoo’s hands were holding you.
The position also helped to stimulate your sensitive little bud. She squeezed your waist causing you to also squeeze your chest. Little tingles spread from from your nipples as your palms brushed against them. You kept your movement slow, enjoying the ride. The waves flowed from your clitoris spreading out through your body, making you squeeze your breasts harder. The strap-on slide in and out only slightly, but you tightened around it, feeling every curve inside you. “I’m so close, mistress. So close.” Another moan rippled from your lips.
“Describe what you’re feeling, baby girl.”
You rolled your hips into her, taking the toy to the hilt. “It’s so thick and filling me. Sensation growing from my clit being rubbed.” You couldn’t help but moan, as you were almost at your peak. You’d planned to tell Jiwoo more of how she was making you feel, but you were at a loss for words. Your head fell back, your hips moving back then gyrating into her again. You reached for her hands and pushed them down to your hips. “Please. Please.”
She smirked as she pulled your hips. She moved so suddenly, so harsh that you screamed as your orgasm rocked through your body. When you calmed down, she helped you to climb off her. She kissed your nose and retreated to the bathroom. When she returned, the strap-on was off and she had a warm wash cloth to clean you up. She giggled each time your body jerked when she cleaned an overstimulated spot. After, she lay next to you, petting your hair off your forehead.
Jiwoo chuckled looking at you. “Why are you pouting again, babygirl?”
“I’m so sleepy. We didn’t even get to eat. I have a surprise for you, too.”
“It will all be there when you wake up.”
You yawned. “Could you at least put the food away?”
She smiled wide then softly kissed your lips. “Yes, pet.”
Your eyelids grew heavy, but you held her hand. “Jiwoo, I love you.” And you were out.
As always after sex with Jiwoo, when you woke up you were a little disoriented. She was no longer in bed with you. Usually she put pajamas on you, but you were still naked. Knowing you needed to hydrate, you made your way to the kitchen. Another frown soon covered your face. All of the food you’d prepared was still out, now spoiled. Jiwoo said she’d put it away, but she hadn’t.
Now you were a bit miffed. So much time and preparation went into making the night special, and it was all wasted. “What the hell.”
             “What the hell, indeed.”
You startled, your eyes trying to find her in the shadows. There was some kind of tension, you could definitely sense it in the air, but you wanted an explanation for why she didn’t do as she promised. “You said you’d put everything away. Now we have to throw it out. I made all your favorites . . .”
             “This is over.”
“Well yeah. I slept through our anniversary.”
Her face was stern and she shook her head. “Do you remember what you said to me last night?”
A blush crept to your cheeks. “I told you I love you.” You looked down, feeling even more bare both physically and emotionally. “I planned for it to be more of a surprise, I even prepared a . . .”
             “No.”
You looked up. Jiwoo didn’t look happy or elated in anyway. You just confessed your feelings for her and she looked mad; angrier than you’d ever seen her.
             “Jiwoo, what’s wrong?”
             “You.”
Your stomach dropped. You wrapped your arms around your chest. “What?”
She stepped closer, her voice rising in volume. “You. You ruined everything.”
All you could do was gape. Confusion didn’t even begin to cover how you felt.
             “Take it back.”
Still unsure you shook your head. “Take what back?”
             “Your love!” She yelled.
You flinched at the harshness of her sound. It felt like your heart was being ripped from your body. “What?”
She was almost chest to chest with you now. “Your love; I don’t want it. Take it back.” Her voice was quieter now, but the bite of her words lingered.
            “I can’t,” you whispered. “I won’t. I love you, Jiwoo.”
She hissed in response and her eyes flared red, making you shiver and back away from her. “Did you forget what I am, pet?” You took in her outfit, dark and edgy like the first time you met her. “I am a demon. I don’t love. Not you, not anything.”
Tears welled in your eyes. “You can’t mean that. I’ve seen it.”
Jiwoo angrily thrusted her hand towards the counters and winds flew in the same direction, blowing all of the food and dishes into the wall, breaking from impact. “You don’t get to tell me what I mean or feel.”
You whimpered her name, but it seemed to only make her fury rise. She shook her head. “This is over. It’s done. Our contract is null and void.”
Realizing what was happening, what she was trying to do, brought your anger out and gave you voice. “No, it’s not. We have a deal. A blood agreement. You can’t just end it all because you don’t love. You’re just scared.”
She used her magicks to smash more things in the room. “I am the demon. I am the one with power. I am the one who calls the shots. You have nothing. You are nothing.”
Each word stung worse than the last, but you knew if you didn’t stand your ground you’d lose her, lose your life, your love. “If I’m nothing you’d have thrown me out long ago. You wouldn’t have made our deal in the first place. You’d have just collected my soul for the real crossroads demon and let me rot in Hell. Where are we, Jiwoo? Why are we standing in a beach cottage and not the crappy apartment I lived in when we made our deal?”
Winds started swirling around Jiwoo making her hair dance. This sent more shivers down your spine, having never seen her this enraged, but you knew she wouldn’t hurt you, knew she couldn’t. “You love me just as I love you. You’re just a coward to admit it.”
Her winds shattered every window in the cottage. She rushed forward and grabbed your throat. “You dare to call me a coward?” Her eyes glowed red.
“A coward is all I see right now.”
Her hand tightened on your throat, making you gasp. Realizing her actions, she threw you to the floor and began pacing. You were still coughing when she knelt down and grabbed your throat again, softer this time. She looked into your eyes. “You will forget me. Forget this. Our arrangement never happened.”
You used all the force you possibly could and pushed her off you. She didn’t move far, but she was clearly shocked which gave you enough time to scramble away from her. “I am not a toy, Jiwoo. You don’t get to manipulate me because you’re upset with me. Our blood runs together, in my veins and yours. You can’t just make me forget you. I won’t. I will never forget you. Our contract is still intact.”
“No it’s not. You’ve served your purpose. I got your body, and I’m done with it now. I no longer want it or you. You will never see me again.”
You reached for her and called her name, but it was too late. Jiwoo was gone. You called for her, looked around the cottage, but she wasn’t there. Hot tears streamed down your face as you fell to your knees. There were too many emotions to feel. Heartbreak, anger, fear. Curling into yourself, you lay on the floor and sobbed until your tear ducts ran dry and exhaustion took over.
__
It was a different kind of nervous coming back to the crossroads. Before it was fear of what the demon would look like or how it would feel to sell your soul. Now it was fear of being denied your wish and never seeing Jiwoo again.
Only days passed since Jiwoo left you, but they were the worst of your existence. She had made you forget things when you made the deal with her, but when she told you that you weren’t anything to her, that she didn’t want you, the memories came back. Your step father also never wanted you. Told you how worthless you were. Tried to convince your mother that she didn’t need you. Made her believe he was all that mattered, and once you were of age, you shouldn’t live in her house, because she was done raising you and was no longer required to be your mother.
The empty, worthless, undesirable feeling was what you felt once again as Jiwoo took off. This was the second time someone meant to love you rejected you. It was different this time, and somehow so much worse than the first.
You’d spent days lying on the floor in the spot you watched her vanish from. It wasn’t until a cockroach crawled past your face that you were even able to move. Food held little appeal. You couldn’t even look at the bed. The only reason you showered was because you smelled of bleach and vinegar after cleaning up the mess of glass, food, and insects from the ruined anniversary dinner. She told you that you were nothing to her, but the truth was, without her, your life was nothing.
That’s when you decided to go back to the crossroads. Jiwoo said she no longer possessed your body. She didn’t want your soul. That meant both were yours to do as you please.
You used a similar Altoid’s box, filled with the hexbag and your picture and buried it in the same area as 2 years ago. It was strange that the anticipation in waiting for the demon felt exactly the same as before. You didn’t know what to expect. Jiwoo made it clear she never even wanted you to meet him. A true Hell demon is how she’d described him. Would he not look human like her?
“Mmm,” sounded behind you. “To what do I owe this pleasure?”
Turning to the voice, you saw a man, who other than being incredibly handsome, looked ordinary enough.
He flashed his eyes, which glowed red just as Jiwoo’s had. “You called?”
             “J.seph?”
His brows raised in disbelief and mouth fell a bit slack. “You know me?” He recovered and now looked both pleased and amused. “Well, this is a surprise. What can I do for you, doll?”
The anxiety seemed higher this go-around, and you couldn’t stop from shaking, but you willed yourself to speak. “I want to make a deal.”
He smirked and started circling around you, quite similarly to Jiwoo. “Let’s see how I can help with that.” As he got closer, he stopped in his tracks. He visibly took two deep sniffs and the smirk left his face. “Your hers.”
Panic hit you and you started shaking your head. “I’m not. Not anymore. She ended our agreement. I’m no one’s now.”
His eyebrow raised and smirk was back. “I wouldn’t be so sure, doll. It’s no cakewalk to break a blood contract.” Unashamed, he blatantly looked you up and down. “I see why she wanted you.”
The fear was growing. You desperately wanted him to help you, but what if demons actually had loyalty and he wouldn’t because of Jiwoo. “Her contract with me is for my body. I want to make a deal using my soul.”
Both his brows raised this time. “Is that so? I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t intrigued.”
Suddenly the air around you grew frigid. It was night, but somehow it seemed darker. Any sounds of crickets and cicadas stopped. Your body shook harder.
“What. The. Fuck. Are. You. Doing?” Her voice echoed.
You should have felt terror from her rage, but you turned around eager, excited. She came, and you hadn’t even made your deal yet. She also seemed incredibly upset about you summoning J.seph. If she was here to yell, maybe punish you, it meant she still cared.
When neither you or J.seph answered, she stepped closer, bellowing louder. “I asked what the fuck you think you’re doing?”
J.seph seemed perfectly at ease. “We’re having a conversation.”
She glared at him then snapped her attention to you. “I told you never to meet him.”
“You also told me I’m nothing to you, so why would you care?” Inside you were so proud of yourself being able to clapback like that, but your body still quivered.
Her eyes flared red. She turned her attention back to J.seph. “She’s already mine. You can’t make a deal, so you can leave now.”
“Actually,” he grinned wide. “Her soul as it seems is perfectly up for grabs. So, it appears a deal can be made after all.”
Jiwoo’s aura changed and it looked like Hellfire literally glowed around her. “This is your last warning, Seph. Get out now, or I’ll make Matthew’s job look like child’s play.”
He chuckled, looking completely unphased. “Fine fine. I’m being summoned elsewhere any way.” He looked past her to you. “You know how to reach me when you’re ready for that deal.”
Jiwoo screamed and actual fire emerged from her mouth. J.seph disappeared, which left you and you alone with her fury. She turned to you. “What’s fucking going on in your mind? How stupid are you?”
Channeling the anger of your heart break, you clenched your fists. “Who are you to decide what I do with my life? It’s my soul. I can do what I want with it.”
“You can’t even begin to understand what he’d do to your soul. Idiot. He’s a Hell demon. He’s not going to promise you kittens and rainbows in exchange for your soul.”
“Why do you even care, Jiwoo?” Your voice hitched as your anger and hurt rose. “He was who I was meant to meet the first time I came to the crossroads. He would have had it in exchange for killing him. Or did you forget I’m not the soft innocent girl you’re making me out to be?”
Jiwoo spat curses as she looked away from you. “I can’t believe how fucking moronic you truly are.”
Hot tears poured down your cheeks. “Better an idiot in love than a pussy who can’t admit their feelings.”
She instantly looked up. Her expression was a mixture of disbelief and outrage. Her voice was low as she spoke this time. “You’re calling me a pussy now?”
Sniffling, you stood straight as you looked into her eyes. “Pussy, coward, scaredy-cat, wuss. Are you going to tell me you aren’t those things?”
Her fiery aura glowed once more. She snarled at you then turned to walk away from you.
“Because running away isn’t a pussy-move at all.”
Before you could blink her face was before yours, her teeth bared. Her hand reached to wrap around your throat as it did days ago, but she didn’t touch you.
More tears streaked your face. “You’re a liar too, Jiwoo,” you squeaked, no longer able to keep up the bravado.
She still held anger in her brows, but her expression softened slightly. “And how’s that now?”
You hiccupped, fully crying now. “You promised you’d never hurt me. Never make me feel pain.”
She looked away. “This pain is your own doing.”
A sarcastic laugh came from your mouth. “Of course, because loving you was actually just my desire to suffer.” Your anger was back as you looked at her this time. “But you won’t let me sell my soul because it’d suffer?”
Her lip twitched before she pushed you to the ground. You’d hit a nerve and she was trying to regain control of the situation. That wouldn’t happen if you had any say. “I remember my step father destroying my family. I remember you tossing his severed head on my kitchen table. Is that also suffering I brought upon myself?”
It was only for a second, but you saw regret cross Jiwoo’s face. You stood up to face her again. “This is bullshit, Jiwoo. It’s bullshit and you know it.” Your voice was faint as you whispered, “Why can’t you love me?”
She began pacing. “It’s complicated.” That certainly was not the response she gave you days ago.
             “Who are you?”
Jiwoo froze and met your gaze. “You know who I am.”
“No. The Jiwoo I know never avoided questions. She was forthcoming about everything. She admitted her faults. She apologized. Most of all, she never hurt me or tried to.”
For the first time, her marianismo was gone and she appeared conflicted, pained even. She ground her teeth. “I can’t. You don’t understand.”
“Then explain it to me. The Jiwoo I used to know would have.”
             She did nothing now.
Sighing, you wiped your eyes though liquid still fell from them. You were never going to win. Not when Jiwoo wouldn’t even give you answers as to why you could no longer be together. Knowing that was just as painful as when she threw you away. Nothing you could do would change her mind. Though it broke your heart further, you stretched your hand toward her. “Take your blood back.”
Her mouth dropped in shock. “What?”
“Take your blood back. Undo our contract.”
             She didn’t respond. Couldn’t.
“You don’t love me. You won’t let me sell my soul. If I can’t have you, I want nothing from you, including our contract. You told J.seph I was still yours. Undo it.”
A new emotion swept across Jiwoo’s face. Fear. You’d never seen it on her before. She whispered your name.
You thrusted your hand at her again and yelled, “Take it back!”
The two of you stared at each other for a long time. The crying had calmed your emotions. You still cried and were sad, but mostly felt numb now. You dropped your hand back to your side. “You can’t have it both ways, Jiwoo. Either you want me or you don’t. If I’m nothing to you, then end the contract.”
Her brows were scrunched, conflict taking over her emotions again. “You don’t want this.”
“You’re right, I don’t. But if you don’t want me, it’s not fair to keep me connected to you.” There was a little bit of hope, that because she seemed reluctant to actually breaking the contract instead of just saying it was null, that perhaps she would crumble and keep you.
She was stalling now, ringing her hands. “It hurts. Physically. Removing my blood from yours.”
“Nothing hurts more than not being chosen.” Of that you were an expert of.
She tried to hide her emotions, but you saw her wince. Staying expressionless, she held her hand up. You watched as her nails turned to sharp claws. She used one to cut the palm of her hand open. Grabbing your hand, she did the same to you. Her magicks came to life around you, and as it pulled her blood from your veins , you fell to your knees. She wasn’t joking about the pain. She watched stoically, not flinching in the slightest while you shrieked out in agony. Then it all stopped.
             “It’s done.”
When you looked up, she was gone. Jiwoo disappeared again, and you knew it was the last time you’d see your succubus.

It’s Too Much But I Like It bm/j.seph/somin/jiwoo, NC-17, 11709 words. They teased and bullied, they held hands and gave back hugs and chaste cheek and forehead kisses. The boys scooped up and carried the girls, and somewhere along the line Taehyung started to get carried, too. They compliment each other constantly, in a way that had surpassed what’s normal for even best friends to do. Matthew had dreamed of debuting for years, but he could never anticipate how training with a group of people can make that group close as family. Well, maybe not family. Something closer to lovers, if BM dares to think that way. Is it fucked up, how badly he wants to think that way?

"Y/n! Come on, get ready soon! You are gonna get late. Last time your boss paid you half of your salary because of your lazy ass!" Y/n heard her roommate, Somin, screaming at her from the kitchen.
She quickly got ready and jogged downstairs and grabbed a piece of toasted bread and her favorite flavored milk from the fridge.
Somin was standing at the counter and looking at her with a frown. "At least eat properly!"
"I can't. If I do, I will be late," her voice muffled as she was chewing her bread. "I'll see you later on!" With that see sprinted out towards the bus stop.
Y/n wasn't the one to be late. She was so punctual with all the schedules. But it changed in the last two years. She would be late for her job every single day. Somin, her best friend, and roommate, always thought that y/n was having trouble waking up but she didn't know that this whole being-late-thing was on purpose.
Y/n reached the bus stop just in time as the bus was about to move. She got in and sat on her usual seat. The same bus would come to the bus stop about twenty minutes before this time. She didn't have a problem with waking up earlier and catching the early bus but then she wouldn't be able to see her—
The bus stop lady.
When y/n moved to this city two years ago for her job, she would catch the early bus and go to her office on time. There was no day that she would be late but it changed after one morning.
"Oh dear, I shouldn't have drunk this much… fuck I'm so late!" Y/n whispered to herself while running towards the bus stop.
She was lucky enough to get on the bus. If she had missed this bus, she would have had to wait for 3:00 pm. Well, that would be too bad.
She was frustratedly looking outside, not liking the fact that she was late for her job. She could already hear BM teasing her. Her thoughts paused when the bus stopped at the next stop.
Her eyes moved along the people waiting or getting up or down from the bus. Of those people, the black and blond-haired lady caught her eyes the most. She had a small but chubby face with big doe eyes that looked so captive. Her full glossy lips were looking so kissable. The lady was biting her lower lip. Her milky and soft skin was shining under the sun's rays that happened to find their way towards her.
Suddenly, the lady looked inside the bus, at y/n. She quickly looked ahead of her rather than looking outside the window. Y/n's cheeks heated up and her heartbeat was dancing. Something about the lady made her feel so warm and fluffy. As if there were some butterflies in her stomach.
It has been three days and yet the bus stop lady was roaming around y/n's thoughts. The thing was that she only saw the lady if she went late. This made her curious, the need of wanting to know more about the lady was growing more and more every day.
That's how she ended up getting late for her job every day. Nobody was aware of this. All of her friends and colleagues thought that she was genuinely getting late. Although she was always on time for parties and other events, nobody noticed that much.
The bus stopped at the other stop and y/n's hopeful eyes roamed through the crowd of people. Then she saw her. Her hair was looking different. Other than the black and platinum blond hair, she had blonde hair with some patches of soft colors. She looked like an angel straight from the heavens. The lady looked up and her beautiful eyes made eye contact with y/n and gave a sweet smile with tiny dimples at the corner of her lips. This smile was something y/n fell in love with the moment she saw.
The blood rushed toward y/n's cheeks leaving a soft red blush behind. Y/n gave the lady a shy smile with a tiny wave and looked away.
For the last two years, they have been doing this and nothing. Every working day they would look at each other and blush. This was worth it. If y/n was getting late and her salary was being cut short, it was alright because first of all, she was able to see the lady, and second of all, her job paid her well so it didn't make much difference anyway.
Every time before going, y/n would think of getting off of the bus and talking to the lady. But it never happened. The lady carried too much power over her. Y/n's all confidence and all the pep talk she gave to herself in the shower would drain out the moment her eyes fell on the lady.
Not only that but y/n was scared as well. She was grown in a family where being gay was equal to killing your own family. For a long time, she thought she was straight. But it was weird. Never in her life, had she ever felt a need to be with a guy. After many tries, she stopped finding a man just to realize that she was gay after only a tiny glimpse of the pretty bus stop lady.
The thought of being with a girl was scary. Y/n knew that her parents would never accept them and something bad would probably happen. Her urge to hold the lady in her strong arms and protect her from all the negativity was strong but always shattered when the face of her disappointed family came in front of her vision. Hell, she doesn't even know if the lady is into females or not.
That triggers her anxiety when everyone is asleep at night.
A few days later, y/n woke up early and wore a pretty outfit. Her makeup was on point. There was no reason for her to get ready differently that day but her inner feelings were screaming to put effort into that day.
Somin looked at her skeptically. It was a surprise to see y/n looking this fresh in the morning. "So you finally decided to be on time?"
Y/n looked at her friend and nodded without thinking, "mhm."
"You should hurry if you want to catch the early bus," Somin patted her back and poured herself some coffee.
"Oh," she checked the time, "right. I should get going," she grabbed her bag and left.
Y/n wasn't going to catch the early bus. If she did, she wouldn't be able to see the lady. But today, she was rather upset. She had been thinking about the lady all night, tossing and turning. There was no chance with the lady but she still stuck with her routine of getting late just to see the beautiful angel at the bus stop.
She walked way too slowly and missed the bus. Just like she wanted to. She sat there and thought about the last two years of them greeting each other with smiles. The butterflies wake up just like the first time.
Y/n was so curious to get to know the lady. She wanted to know her name and wanted to listen to her voice.
'I wonder how my name would sound when she calls me,' y/n thought.
Y/n's head was resting on the window of the bus. She never thought as much as she thought after seeing the lady. When the bus stopped at the next stop, y/n looked where the lady would always sit. But she wasn't there. Her soft lips formed a cute pout while looking outside trying to spot the lady.
She unconsciously gasped when someone patted her shoulder. Annoyingly, she turned around with a deep frown but it changed suddenly into a shocked face. Eyes almost popping out and mouth hanging wide.
There the lady was. Smiling brightly, showing her cute teeth. She looked even more gorgeous from up close. Her pretty eyes were sparkling brightly-
"Hi, mind if I sit here?" The pretty lady's voice was thick and honey-like. Oh, only if y/n's mouth could open more.
"Y-yes," the lady slightly frowned, "I-I mean, no! Please have a seat!" Y/n almost screamed, making the lady laugh sweetly.
Y/n could smell the Chanel perfume that the lady was wearing. It was a heavenly smell.
"It's Jiwoo," the lady said after a moment of silence.
"I-I, y/n," she stuttered.
'Fuck!'
Jiwoo wholeheartedly laughed and placed her hand on y/n's shoulder, sending shivers down her spine. "You look like a lost puppy," she chuckled, "why are you so nervous? I'm just a person."
Y/n chuckled feeling a bit calm, "I never thought I would talk to you…"
"Why not? I have been seeing you for two years. I thought I should take a break from work and meet you." Jiwoo smiled widely. "I always found you interesting," she giggled.
"Ah," y/n nervously chuckled, "I-I—"
"Were you looking for me?" Y/n's face looked shocked. She cleared her throat.
"You were!" Jiwoo quietly clapped like a little child. It made y/n heart warm. She was adoring Jiwoo. "You know what? We should share our numbers and meet up. It looks like you are going to work."
'Dammit work,' "Sure, let's do that," they exchanged their numbers.
"Are you free in the evening?" Y/n thought for a second and nodded her head as yes. "Oh! Great! We should meet up today. I know this wonderful Italian place and they have a special menu today. We should go there," Jiwoo's wide hopeful eyes sparked with the idea.
"Yeah, sure. I would love to go there," Y/n agreed.
The bus stopped at the other stop. Jiwoo got up and looked at y/n. "I'll text you the venue and we will meet at 8… let's consider this as a date," she winked and got off the bus leaving, yet again, shocked y/n.
"Ahh, what should I wear!?" Y/n's room was a great mess.
"What are you doing?" Somin came in and frowned at the mess.
"I have to go somewhere for dinner. But I don't know what to wear," she whined.
"Why don't I know about the dinner. I'm going too," Somin clapped her hands before turning around.
"Oh, no! It's only me," y/n scratches her nape.
"Alone?"
Y/n nervously chuckled, "not really."
Somin's eyes widened at the realization. She excitedly got on the bed and sat at the edge facing the closet where y/n was standing. She swung left and right with a grin on her face.
"So…" Somin wiggled her eyes.
"So..?" Y/n looked at her with a pout.
"Who is he?" She teasingly smiled.
"Someone that I know," y/n cleared her throat and turned around to find an outfit.
"Oh come on!" Y/n chuckled. "Just tell me already!"
The thought of not being accepted or being judged scared y/n. It's never easy to come out. Since grade eight, she has been hiding her biggest secret from others. Knowing that her family might kick her out was all a big scary step. But thinking about Jiwoo, she was ready to take the risks.
"Hey, why are you standing like a rock? What happened?" Somin got up and approached her.
It would be a burden to not tell her about this. Y/n gained some strength and said it all, "IamnotstraightIhavebeenwantingtotellbutwelliamgoingonadatewithagirl," in one breath.
Somin stood there dumbfounded, "um, sorry but… come again…?"
Y/n sighed, "I'm not straight." With that, she turned around, avoiding Somin. "I'm going on a date with a girl."
Somin stood there without moving a muscle, too stunned to even wiggle a finger. She wasn't expecting this, especially the quick talk. She didn't have any problem with y/n being gay. But she was just hurt that she didn't tell her about this before.
"Y/n… do you not trust me enough to tell me this?" Somin asked after thinking about it.
"I-it's not like that… You know where I grew up. I feel scared to come out," y/n mumbled.
"Y/n…" Somin held your shoulders, "you don't need to worry about me. As long as you are not hurting anybody or yourself, I'm supporting you," she hugged her. "But let's get you ready."
After a few minutes, y/n was all dressed up. Somin did her makeup and added some nice details to the outfit. It was not too fancy or casual, just perfectly in-between them.
"Ah, you look perfect!" Somin excitedly clapped. "Go and make me proud," she dramatically said.
Y/n chuckled and opened the door, "you won't be disappointed," and left.
Y/n's pov
Jiwoo was already waiting for me when I reached the restaurant. I felt bad for being a little late. The guard opened the heavy glass door and a waitress guided me to my seat.
When Jiwoo spotted me, she jumped out of her seat and hugged me tightly, "oh, my God! You look so pretty, y/n!" She exclaimed and helped me sit.
'No! Jiwoo! You look like an angel and I'm nothing in front of you:( also, my name sounds so nice when she says it,' I thought.
"Ah, look at yourself. You look so gorgeous!" I chuckled. The nervousness was pouring into my body.
She lightly laughed and oh, it was so addicting. Everything she did was so ordinary and yet so precious. I didn't want this to end any time soon. I want to devour this moment.
"You are too nice! It's nice to meet you and talk to you. I have been waiting for this day to come," 'Jiwoo was waiting for this day!?' I felt like flying in the air.
"I was waiting too. I never thought that it would come, tbh," I awkwardly chuckled.
"Why not? I knew this would happen. We have been saying hi through the bus window, and one day had to come when we would meet," she looked at me with her big bright eyes. "Did you not want to meet me?" She asked with puppy eyes. I wanted to pick her up and squish her in my hug.
"No! That's not what I mean!... I thought that we might never meet, like, in the end, we have been saying hi for about two years but never talked," I cleared my throat, feeling nervous.
Jiwoo chuckled, "you are so cute. Don't think too much. We are here now, so let's enjoy this," she smiled.
The waitress came and took our order. Everything on the menu was so eye-catching. We ordered a nice portion of food, without feeling weird about the first date thing. Food is food.
"It's nice," Jiwoo said as she looked at me.
"It is! It's a beautiful place," I nodded and looked around.
"No that's not what I mean," she took my hand in her, "'this' is nice. From day one, I wanted to meet you. You are so different from others," her thumb caressed my knuckles.
I was at the loss of words. She was too kind to me. I never felt this way before. I know one thing: I'm in love with her. But today I came to know how it feels to be in love. It's such a dumb yet pleasant feeling.
'I never want this to ever end,' my eyes felt teary.
"I love this too, Jiwoo," her name felt so right when I said it, "I-I really adore you."
Jiwoo squeezed my hand, acknowledging my words, "I know it's too soon but…" Jiwoo looked nervous, "would you be my girlfriend? I know it's too early but we have been acquainted for two years and I can't wait anymore!" She quickly added.
I couldn't help but laugh. She looked too cute to be true, "Jiwoo, I would love to be your girlfriend…" I shyly accepted. "I understand, without talking, I feel way too many things for you. I just didn't have any balls to come up to you and confess," Jiwoo's soft face softened more.
"I hope you will confess those feelings sooner," she smiled.
The food was served and we both dug in. Everything was going perfectly. The food was good. Jiwoo was good… too good.
I felt like I was living a dream. Jiwoo was my dream and now I have it. She was nicer than I thought. Humble, intelligent, smart, caring, kind, and whatnot. There was no perfect person like she was and I felt honored to have her in a way only I could have her.
After we were done with dinner, she suggested that we should get the dessert from the ice cream shop nearby. That's what we did.
We walked to the shop. It was about fifteen minutes away from the restaurant so we decided the walk would be better and the weather seemed to agree too.
As we were going, our hands brushed against each other. It sent shivers down my spine.
Finally, after a few seconds, I gained some confidence and intertwined our hands. Jiwoo quickly held my hand tighter and it felt so warm. I wasn't feeling nervous anymore. She made sure that I felt comfortable around her. She is perfect.
In the ice cream shop, we ordered our ice cream and went to the nearest park to sit and enjoy it. There were many unique flavors so we decided to take two of their famous flavors and share them. We sat facing each other on the bench, legs in a criss cross applesauce position.
We talked and ate our ice cream without realizing that someone was watching. We were lost in our own world.
Jiwoo told me that she worked nearby and lived with her best friend Jseph. And I told her about my job and that I live with my best friend, Somin, and have another best friend who lives a street away, BM. She suggested that we should hang out together and make our friends meet each other. We both were so excited.
As much as we wanted to stay, it was getting too late.
"We should get going," I said after looking at the time.
"Mhm, it's too late. Honestly, I didn't even realize how time passed by so quickly," she whined.
"It's alright. We can meet up sooner!" You stuffed the empty paper bows into the bag and threw them in the garbage bin. "Come on."
Jiwoo held your hand and got up. "Jseph is near from here. He will pick me up in a minute."
"Oh," I nodded. "I will wait."
"Yeah, we can drop you where your car is. We are going the same way anyway," she smiled and sat back.
There was a comfortable silence. The night insects were talking in their own languages. The sound of cars and people talking was feeling nice for once. Being near Jiwoo made me like everything around us. She held huge power over me.
Jiwoo turned toward me and looked at the side of my face. I smiled and looked at her face. Her cheeks looked so squishable. I wanted to gently pinch them. So I did.
I cupped her cheeks in between my hands and squished them. She looked so cute with her lips poking out and cheeks all squished. They were soft as cotton.
Her juicy lips were so kissable. I can not resist her. I brought her face close to mine. Our noses were touching. Her breath was fanning over my face. I didn't make any further move but she did. She closed the distance between our lips and enveloped her against mine.
They felt so soft and spongy. I have kissed many people but this was different. This was all I needed. I moved my lips against her. I felt like I was on cloud nine. How can she be perfect in every aspect? How can I get so lucky that this beautiful lady was mine?
It lasted for a couple of minutes when some footsteps startled us. We separated and took deep breaths and looked where a person was standing.
"Jseph! You scared us!" Jiwoo whined and side-hugged me, keeping her face on my shoulder.
"I-I am sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you. Btw, hi I'm Jseph," he greeted and shook hands with me. "Im taking this as a good date," he wiggled his eyebrows at us.
"Hi, I'm y/n," I smiled. "Yes, indeed."
"Come on, let's go. It's too late," Jiwoo got up and linked her arm with mine.
We sat in the car and went to the restaurant parking lot. I got out after saying good nights. I unlocked my car and got in. I locked the doors and started the engine when my phone vibrated in my purse.
I took my phone out and saw some messages from my mother along with a picture.
Mom: *pic*
Mom: *pic*
Mom: *pic*
Mom: now this is happening!?
Mom: I never thought that you would bring this disgrace to our house! You failed me! Don't you dare look in our direction ever again. But if you leave that slut and not be a slut yourself, you are most welcome
Mom: You are just a burden!
"Shit," I whispered after reading her message and seeing my pictures from not so long ago while kissing Jiwoo and enjoying your time with her. My phone vibrates once again. This time the message was from Jiwoo.
Jiwoo: I love being with you. I hope you know I feel much more for you too. I wanna meet you soon<333
This brought a smile to my face. Maybe I should not care what my parents think. They should accept who I am. I must choose the people who accept me. Like my friends and… Jiwoo.
Me: I'm glad you feel that way.♥ We should meet up sooner. How about next Saturday?

Succubus Pt 3
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jiwoo x Reader (S) Prompt: Succubus/Incubus/Demon Word Count: 5.1K
Warnings: angst, fluff
~Admin V
Part 1  Part 2
The desire to stop existing was immense. The only reason you didn’t fade away at the crossroads was because Somin appeared. In spirit, you were more than ready to fight her. You cursed at her, told her to fuck off in more ways than one. But after the magicks took Jiwoo’s blood back, you were physically weak. As a demon, it was simple for Somin to make you sleep and forget the world.
When you woke, you were back in the beach cottage. You grimaced once you realized you were in bed. Fortunately, she’d changed the sheets. Unfortunately, it still reminded you of Jiwoo. You walked to the dining nook. All the windows were fixed. Somin was there and made you food to eat.
You glared at her. “I don’t want you here.”
She looked unphased. “Good morning to you, too. Why yes, I did fix all the damage. You’re very welcome.”
“I’m not your responsibility and we’re not friends. You can go.”
Somin smiled sweetly at you. “You’re cute when you’re rude.”
Her words only made you glare harder.
You sat on the couch and she placed a plate of food on the table across from you. “I’m not hungry.”
“I’m not letting you hurt yourself.”
Your patience was running short. “Why do you care? Aren’t you on Jiwoo’s side? She ended this. I’m not important to her, and since we’re not friends, I know I’m nothing to you.”
“I think what you did was brave. I’ve never seen a human stand up to Jiwoo, or purposely seek out J.seph. Hell, I know demons who wouldn’t even do those things.”
“Jiwoo said it was stupid. Idiotic.”
Somin chuckled. “It is a fine line between courage and stupidity.” She nudged the plate toward you. “Please eat something.”
Your arms crossed in front of your chest. “I told you I’m not hungry. My being brave still doesn’t really explain why you’re here. What, Jiwoo send you to be a watch dog so she’d still have power over me?”
“Jiwoo has no idea that I’m here.”
Well that was a surprise. “Then why?”
She neatly crossed her legs as she sat across from you, resting her folded hands over her knees. “I’ll make you a deal; if you eat, I’ll try to answer your questions.”
You hated giving in, but you wanted answers; answers Jiwoo wasn’t giving you. You picked up your fork and stabbed into a piece of cantaloupe. “Why’d you get me from the crossroads? How’d you even know I was there?”
             “Reasons.”
The scowl was back and you stopped chewing.
Somin sighed and continued. “I knew you were there because Jiwoo’s anger could be felt all the way down in Hell. I was afraid she might kill you, which would’ve been something she’d regret and very bad press for demons. Why I came is because I agree with you.”
“You agree with me? About what?”
She looked down at your plate, insisting you eat more before she revealed anything more.
Begrudgingly, you obliged and plopped a strawberry in your mouth.
Once satisfied, she started again. “I think Jiwoo has deep feelings for you and is scared to act on them.”
That made you stop chewing. “What?”
She waved at you to keep eating. “Do you know what succubi are?”
             Was she kidding? “Sex demons.”
“Yes, but more than that, we’re dream demons.”
You were beginning to get frustrated. This seemed more like a game than answers. “Okay?”
“We usually don’t directly interact with humans. We come to them in dreams.”
“Jiwoo never came to me in dreams.”
             “Exactly.”
Pushing the plate away you sat up. “Exactly what? Just tell me the point of this story.”
“You’re the first human Jiwoo has directly touched that way.”
Oh. You sat back, but didn’t go for the food again. “But she has a place here on Earth, where she lives, I mean.”
“Sure. We walk around to find people whose dreams we’d like to invade. We sometimes get summoned as well. I too have a residence here.”
             “I don’t understand.”
“Jiwoo was supposed to make deals for J.seph. She’d collect your souls for him and he’d later do your biddings.”
“But she made the deal with me for herself.”
             “Yes.”
“And that’s unheard of in the demon world?”
             “Not unheard of, but uncommon.”
So this was why Jiwoo said it was complicated. This was uncharted territory for her.
You made yourself more comfortable on the couch, and were grateful Somin wasn’t urging you to keep eating.
She resumed her explanation. “After your first night together, Jiwoo told me it was the most incredible experience of her existence. Soon she stopped even going to dreams and only fucked you, apologies for the bluntness. She liked the thrill of your physical reactions, touch, taste, smell.
“Then she asked me to meet you. Of course, she said it was your idea, but we normally don’t meet each other’s conquests. That’s when I knew this was something different, serious.”
This was much more than you expected to be revealed. It was certainly a lot to think about. You sat in silence for a bit, contemplating all the new information, then had a thought. “Well, she did technically own me at that point. Wouldn’t she show off her property?”
Somin laughed softly. “I know you haven’t had a lot of interactions with demons, but we’re highly jealous creatures. Even with the blood contract, if I were in her position, I wouldn’t want someone to see you and fantasize about what’s mine. But as you said, she did want to show you off, but not as a conquest or possession. When we met, she was introducing me to her girlfriend.”
Your head was beginning to hurt with information overload. Somin was confirming what you’d thought was happening between you and Jiwoo, but Jiwoo made it clear this was not what it was. If anything, telling you all of this seemed like a good way to keep you distracted from ideas of suicide, which you suspected was one of Somin’s goals.
“How do I know this isn’t all just bullshit? You’re a demon, what’s stopping you from lying to me?”
“What other motivation could I possibly have?”
“A demon doing something from the kindness of their heart seems suspicious.”
“Didn’t Jiwoo do nice things for you?”
You were getting frustrated. This was like arguing with your sister.
“I can see that you’re tired. We can continue this later. Why don’t you get more rest? It can take a few days to regain energy. I’ll help you back to bed.”
             Wincing, you shook your head.
Somin said your name. “You’ll feel better with more sleep.”
“I can’t go to the bed. Please, it’s,” you wiped a tear from your eye. “I can’t sleep there.”
Understanding washed over Somin’s face. “I’m sorry, I never even considered the implications of being in the bed you shared. I’ll make up the couch for you.”
“Why are you doing all of this, Somin?”
“I must do this for you, and for her.”
That made you flinch once more. She again apologized. When the couch was covered in blankets and pillows, you didn’t fight the exhaustion as it consumed you. If you couldn’t die, being unconscious was the next best thing.
Somin had another meal prepared for you when you woke. She watched you as you ate, and you stared at her as well. It was clear that she wasn’t giving you the whole story about why she was here, helping you.
“Won’t she be angry if she finds out you’re with me?”
“She’s angry about a lot right now. What’s adding more onto the pile?”
“I’m still not clear on why you’re with me? What’s in it for you.” You bit a piece of toast.
“I told you, I agree with you.”
“So? That doesn’t really explain much.”
             “It’s a complex issue.”
Again, with the vagueness. You dropped your fork on the plate in annoyance.
Somin also seemed to be irritated. “It’s not really my place to explain. I know you want answers, but ultimately, the only one who can give them to you is Jiwoo. I just know that despite what happened between you two, she wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to you or for you to hurt yourself.”
“She’s never going to give me answers. She’s made that abundantly clear.”
“Demons feel differently than humans. Our emotions are stronger, deeper. Telling her you love her has given her emotions she’s never dealt with before and now she’s having an existential crisis.”
“Well boo hoo for her.” You were getting mad now. “I’m not trash she can just throw out as she pleases because she doesn’t know how to feel.”
“Again, that’s why I’m here with you.”
“But it hurts. It hurts to see you, because you make me think of her.”
For the first time you saw conflict in Somin’s eyes. “But if I leave you, you’re going to let yourself wither away into nothing.”
            “Why is that so bad?”
The two of you were at an impasse. No one would be winning the argument of why you shouldn’t kill yourself.
Somin left you alone for the rest of the day, only checking in for meals. At dinner a decision was made that Somin would contact your sister and friends. She would help you find a new place to live with your sister, and once you were moved out, she would worry about the selling of the cottage. She would also disappear from your life to really give you a clean break from everything connected to Jiwoo. She did, however, insist on keeping your finances taken care of. She didn’t think anyone should be a slave to money.
With all of your friends helping, it only took a couple of days to pack up your things. Though, most things were both yours and Jiwoo’s, so you told Somin to dispose of them. Your friends and sister even insisted on unpacking your things and setting them up for you.
After everything that happened, your mother, step father, Jiwoo, it was hard to believe there were people who cared for you like this. It was a bit overwhelming. As they were unpacking and chatting, you sat in your new bedroom and stared at the bed. It was new, and it seemed strange. You knew with time you’d get used to it, used to your new life without Jiwoo.
A knock sounded at the door. You looked up to Somin’s concerned face. “You okay? You’ve been staring at the wall for ages.”
The two of you chuckled at that. “Don’t you know when you suffer from depression and suicidal thoughts, there’s never enough time to just stare at the wall.”
She gave a wry smile. “We’re all finished. There’s nothing left to do, so I’m finally going to take off.”
That made you a bit sad. It was true that you did want her gone because she was just a reminder of Jiwoo and all the pain that came from that. But she had helped you, despite being rude. She cared for you when you couldn’t care for yourself. Maybe you weren’t friends, but you were connected. “I’m not sure what to say. I have so much to thank you for.”
She smiled and rested her hand on your shoulder. “Don’t sweat it. And maybe don’t tell anyone. I do have my reputation as a demon to uphold.”
You smiled too and hugged her.
As she hugged you back, she spoke, “If you ever need anything, or just want someone to stare at the wall with you, you can call me.”
Letting go you looked at her. “Really?”
“Sure. Just . . . maybe don’t summon me like you did J.seph. I don’t think it would end well for either of us.”
There was a slight grin, but then you became a little more serious. “Before you go . . .”
             She perked up.
“ . . . I want to see the cottage one last time.”
             Somin’s eyebrows raised.
“I just . . . I want to say goodbye.” When she gave no response, you continued. “I promise not to hurt myself.”
She nodded. “Do you want me to take you there?”
“No. I think I need to do it on my own.”
She nodded once again. “I will wait until tomorrow to give the realtor the keys, so take all the time you need.”
             “Thank you.”
Lifting your chin with her fingers, she made you look into her eyes. “Be good, kid. And please, take care of yourself.”
             “Yes ma’am.”
With that, Somin vanished, leaving you alone in your room. You walked to your dresser and opened the sock drawer. You pulled out a small box. It was the surprise you’d planned for Jiwoo. Walking out of your room, you told your friends and sister that you were going out for a bit and would be back for dinner.
Walking to the cottage reminded you of the times you’d walked to the crossroads. Your heart seemed to stop when you came upon the small house. You stared at the front door, probably for as long as you stared at the bed earlier. Finally, making your legs move, you opened it and stepped inside.
Ghosts of your memories danced before you. In the kitchen, you saw the time you were teaching Jiwoo how to make cookies. Cookie dough made it onto her nose. The living room replayed a scene of you and Jiwoo on the couch, her asking you questions as you watched your favorite movie. The crack in the hallway wall showed the time Jiwoo held you against it, thrusting and pumping into you.
You allowed yourself to relive each moment and feel their loss. They were a part of you, but you could let them go. Were okay with letting them go. It was the only way for you to keep living.
Not quite ready to go back to your new residence, you decided to walk along the beach. It was something you didn’t often do with Jiwoo. Maybe you did once or twice, but you normally did it when she was away doing demon things.
This would be something you missed. The smell of the salt water, the nice breeze, crash of the waves sounding. The beach sloped into a walking trail going into cliffs. You took your time to hike up the path, enjoying the scenery. When you got to the top, you allowed yourself to take in the sight of the shrubberies up the path and ocean below. You felt calm and at ease. That’s when you decided it was time to say goodbye to Jiwoo.
Feeling around in your pocket, you pulled out the small box you’d taken from your room. Opening it revealed the smooth, solid ring of jade. You’d done so much planning to get her something special. The big surprise for the anniversary along with telling her you loved her was to give her your soul. Well, to be honest, she already had your soul when she won your heart, but you wanted to let her know. You in turn were going to ask for her body and soul in being your wife.
A hiccup escaped thinking how the current situation spiraled so far away from all of that. You wiped at your eyes. Throwing the ring into the ocean wouldn’t instantly heal you from all of this pain now or make you forget her, but it was the step you knew you needed to take in order to start healing. Closing your eyes and inhaling deeply, you clutched the ring in your fist.
            “Don’t!”
Your eyes sprung open and you turned. There she was.
“Don’t do it,” she said again, desperation filling her voice.
“Jiwoo?” It sounded like her, but she looked different. Not as pristine as what you remembered. She wasn’t close enough to fully look at carefully though. Your voice was small when you asked, “Why are you here?”
Ignoring you, she continued pleading, “I know I’m a miserable cunt for what I put you through. You never deserved any of it, not a single bit, but please.” She stepped closer, her arm moving like she wanted to reach out to you.
You realized you were at the edge of the cliff and she thought you were going to jump. “I promised Somin I wouldn’t hurt myself. I keep my promises.”
She flinched at that. Her hand dropped back to her side.
Louder this time, you asked again, “Why are you here?”
“Somin brought me to the cottage. You weren’t there. I figured you took a walk.”
Brought her? Couldn’t Jiwoo come on her own? “Why?”
“I’m an asshole. The worst kind of asshole. I came to apologize and beg for your forgiveness.”
“Why would you need my forgiveness? You’re a demon.”
“I was acting like one. I was scared, like you said. A coward.”
Your eyebrows rose. “I never thought I’d hear you admit that.”
A wry smile formed. “Pride is one of a demon’s virtues.” She moved to step closer to you, which unconsciously made you back away. Her smile fell and she stepped back to where she was. “Please, can you allow me to explain myself?”
This didn’t feel real. It felt like you were in a dream. Maybe you were. Like Somin said, succubi were dream demons. But you could feel sand hitting your legs from the breeze and taste the salt in the air.
Hadn’t you wanted this? Jiwoo to come back? Your heart started to ache. What if it was another game? You wouldn’t survive her toying with you.
She stood straight looking solemn. “I know I don’t warrant any more chances from you, but you do have a right to know why I acted like a Hell demon. Please?”
Everything felt surreal and you weren’t sure what to say or feel in the moment. All you could muster was a single nod of the head, and with it all the tension seemed to leave Jiwoo’s body.
“I’ve been a demon for more than a thousand years. I was once human, but my death was not peaceful. Because of the brutality of it, I was greeted by a very powerful demon. If I wanted to seek revenge, I was offered the chance to become a demon myself. I was incredibly angry about how I died so I agreed. I became a demon of torture. That’s how I met Matthew. Together we punished souls in Hell, and I made the ones who harmed me as a human suffer the worst kind of pain. For many centuries I enjoyed giving bastards the same pain or worse than what they caused. My grudge in death soon became my wrath and I vowed to take it out on every soul presented to me. Then I met J.seph.
“He was a salesman and showed me the fun of coming to Earth. He would get summoned to different interesting places. After being summoned he would sometimes stick around and talk to others who did not call for him. He would interact with the humans, doing them favors before coming back to collect their souls and giving them to Matthew or another demon. It was vastly different from being in Hell and tormenting the damned. I liked the newness of it, the change from crying and pain. So, I was a crossroads demon for a few more centuries, but eventually grew tired of it, just as I had with torture. Finally, along came Somin, to introduce me to the life of being a succubus.
“Being a succubus didn’t involve fear or pain, only pleasure. I came to humans in dreams where I fulfilled their naughtiest desire. When I made someone cry or scream, it was from ecstasy of orgasm overload. I stimulated their soul instead of breaking it. I found it much more enjoyable than the other sectors of demon life, and felt satisfied for once. But then I met you.”
Your breath hitched. Jiwoo had always been truthful with you, but she never wanted to tell you about her life, her history before. She only ever focused on the present; the now. And even though she heavily edited it, you knew it was a big step for her to share her story with you. She was showing you she did care, and it was a little overwhelming. Your legs were wobbly with the rush of emotions.
She motioned to come to your aid, but you raised your hand, still not ready to be close to her. “Maybe you should sit,” she tucked her hands into pockets. After you were on the ground she nodded and continued.
“J.seph and a few other demons had been summoned for a political affair, and he asked me to cover for him, since I was familiar with his charge of things. And you called.
“Centuries of doing this kind of thing never prepared me for meeting you. Everything about you was enticing; your look, your scent, your need to seek revenge. It was all delicious and I wanted you for myself, my own personal little plaything. But you weren’t what I expected.
“Even though you were seeking a demon, you were scared and shy. You willingly gave me your body, and nothing was forced. You yearned for my touch, craved it, but then you surprised me, in that you wanted me to ache for your touch as well, and I did. You were all I ever wanted, and soon the merely physical desire for each other became more. I’ve never been so happy in a millennia as I have than when with you. You never cared about what I was. You knew I was a demon and still asked to spend time with me, to simply enjoy my presence in being with you. You weren’t ashamed of me and wanted to go out and be seen with me. You wanted people you cared about to meet me, show them I was someone you cared about, too.”
She paused and when she wiped at tears in her eyes, your mouth dropped. You’d never seen Jiwoo cry. Not once. And now she was.
“When you told me you loved me, it freaked me out. I couldn’t remember if I ever felt love as a human, and I certainly haven’t in the last thousand years. It just isn’t something a demon feels. I wasn’t supposed to feel love. It felt wrong as a demon for you to even say it to me.
“But we feel anger, which is why I blew up at you. It was so easy to tell you that you were wrong and blame you. I convinced myself to going back to my traditional role of succubus and sleeping with all who I pleased. Next thing I know, you went and summoned J.seph.”
Jiwoo took a moment to exhale and calm down. “I was so angry you called him, because I know firsthand what would happen to your soul when the time came to collect. I never want that to happen. That should never happen, not to you.”
She needed another moment. She furiously wiped at her eyes which made you get up to be closer to her.
Her voice was shaky as she spoke. “You asked me to break our contract, calling me out on being selfish, and it broke me, too. I didn’t want to, wasn’t going to, but like I said, pride is a demonic virtue.”
You were close to her now, which caused you to cry with her. Her face and bare arms were covered is scratches, scrapes, and bruises of all colors.
“Jiwoo?” you squeaked. “What happened?” Your voice rose higher seeing deep gashes and cuts. “What happened?”
Fully sobbing now, Jiwoo shook her head. “I had to. I had to do it for you.”
Pulling her into your arms, you hugged her tight against your body, both of you crying together.
“I did it for you,” she whimpered. “I did the trials. I survived to be fully yours.”
Jiwoo pushed you away slightly to look you in the eye. “I completed the 3 trials to lose my immortality and have my soul returned.”
Stunned, you stopped crying and stared at her for a long moment. “What?”
She gave a small smile and dabbed at her eyes. “I’m human. I made myself human.”
Your legs gave way, but Jiwoo caught you, and brought both of you to the ground to sit. “You’re human?”
With watery eyes, she smiled and nodded.
            “For me?”
The smile grew and she nodded again.
Overwhelmed again, you tried to process everything she just told you when a word stuck out. “Survived?” Saying it made you cry more.
For the first time, she moved her hands to touch you. She held your face in her palms, using her thumbs to remove the liquid falling down. “Nothing was going to stop me from getting what I wanted, which was a life with you. You’re why I did it and why I survived it. I’m here because of you.”
She now held you in her arms as you wept. Her fingers pet through your hair until you pulled yourself together.
Jiwoo had come back to you. She was yours and she was holding you. Now you really weren’t sure if it were a dream or not.
Jiwoo shifted and reached for something in the sand. The jade ring appeared as she lifted it. You’d dropped it when you wrapped your arms around her.
“It’s yours.” Your voice sounded tired from all the crying. “It’s your anniversary present. It’s why I’m here.” You turned to face her. “I wasn’t going to jump. I was going to throw it into the ocean.”
A small chuckle of relief left her mouth. She held your face once more. “I’m so so sorry. You don’t know how sorry I truly am. But if you’ll allow, I will spend the rest of our lifetime making it up to you.”
“Are you proposing to me, Jiwoo?”
            Her mouth fell slack. “Did I? I-I wasn’t trying . . . I mean.”
That made you giggle. Lots of firsts were happening today, including catching Jiwoo off guard. You’d never seen her unprepared, cute, or endearing. You took the ring from her and held it before her. “I promise to give myself to you, body and soul, if you promise to do the same.”
She offered her finger for you to slide the ring on. “They’re yours, my body and soul. They’re forever yours.”
Your mouth stretched into the biggest smile. You pulled her tight against your body and hugged her for a long while. You felt her breathe against you, smelled her hair, which was notably different than what you remembered. You wanted to live in and remember this moment.
When you pulled back, your focus landed on her lips. An angry slice went across the left side of both her top and bottom lip. You gently ran your finger over it, making her lips part. Would it hurt her to press your lips against hers?
“Oh my god would you two just kiss already?”
Both of you snapped your attention to Somin, standing further back along the trail.
Jiwoo grumbled and huffed beside you. “Thank you, for killing the moment.”
Not caring in the slightest that she’d done so, Somin walked closer to you. “Are you you two finished with the sobbing fest? I’ve got other matters to attend to.”
You looked at her and Jiwoo, puzzled.
Somin sighed. “I agreed to bring Jiwoo to you, since she’s still weak from becoming human, and then if things worked out to take you back to your new place.”
Scrunching your forehead, you focused your attention on her. “I don’t think my friends or sister would be all accepting of Jiwoo at the moment, especially with the state I’ve been in.”
She pointed at herself. “Demon. They think Jiwoo was away for business and that you were just sad about an argument you’d had with her before she left.”
Your attention turned to Jiwoo. “You’re not staying at your residence?”
“I gave it up when I gave up my immortality.”
Frustration filled you once more. “I-I’m not sure my sister would agree to that since we live together now, and all our stuff . . .”
Somin interrupted you. “Baby, it’s a one bedroom. I told you you’d be living with your sister as a ploy, and you were so out of it, you didn’t even notice she didn’t have a room.”
Your mouth dropped. Jiwoo squeezed your hand in hers apologetically.
Looking bored now, Somin continued. “Plus, I saw all of the damage done to you both and to that cottage. You needed a fresh start.”
“But we got rid of all . . .  of mine and Jiwoo’s things.”
“You gave me all of that to get rid of. I didn’t.”
Shyly, Jiwoo spoke up now. “I did pick out the location of it, so it could be both of ours.”
Stunned, you looked at her for a moment, then glared at Somin. “You told me Jiwoo didn’t know you were helping me.”
She pointed to herself once again. “Demon.” She sighed. “Are we all good now? Everyone is happy and got what they wanted?”
Both her and Jiwoo looked at you expectantly. Smiling, you nodded. “Yes.”
Jiwoo pulled you into a hug, and Somin closed the distance, wrapping her arms around both of you. Her winds swirled then before you knew it, all three of you were back at the new place. Your friends and sister had a dinner for two prepared and a note in their place explaining they left.
Somin kissed you, then Jiwoo on the forehead and vanished.
Looking around your new living space, you hadn’t seen it since everyone else insisted on unpacking. You found things that belonged to both you and Jiwoo.
She reached for your hand and pulled so you’d look at her. It was the second time tonight you’d seen her look so serious. Jiwoo took a deep breath then exhaled slowly. Looking you in the eye, a small smile appeared. “I love you.” It was spoken so quietly, you weren’t sure you heard her correctly.
             “What?”
Jiwoo huffed and said it again, louder this time. “I love you.”
             “You do?”
She smiled at your absurdity and pulled you flush against her. “Yes. I love you.”
You smiled back at her. “Wow, three times.”
Giving a small glare, her smile grew and she pulled you in for a soft, chaste kiss.
Smiling against her, you pecked her lips quickly. “We’re going to have so much fun, mistress. So, so much.”

3rd Street Bus Depot
Tumblr media
Technically speaking, the Bussers don't consider themselves to be a true faction. They have no interest in what the other four groups get into, content to sit back and watch them kill each other over canned goods and shotgun shells.
The Bussers are the go-between. Using bikes, they deliver messages and supplies between the other groups, passing off letters to leaders and arranging trades. In a way, they're peacekeepers. Led by Jessi, who usually stays behind with Somin while the other three make deliveries, the Bussers keep lines of communication open between factions — for a price. They get a cut of all trades, plus weekly payment in the form of snacks and bullets.
Overall, the Bussers keep to themselves. Sleeping in converted busses parked inside the depot, they value their privacy and independence. (They also value, of course, the knowledge that their contributions keep the entire city afloat.)
Jessi — leader/lookout
J.Seph — deliveries/lookout
Matthew — deliveries/security
Jiwoo — deliveries/armorer
Somin — inventory manager/maintenance
