After a moment she flicked her fingers, causing the ring to flicker to life with a blinding, otherworldly glow. If she caught him in the eye with it, she wasn’t going to feel very sorry.

Oh -- but the thrill of performing a Russian Roulette with Death was alluding to the noblewoman. It brought back wonderous memories of when she played possum before slaughtering a grand number of professionally trained Musketeers with their own blades and guns.

She could only chuckle as he scowled at her.
