I can watch every single heartbreaking moment of This Is Us multiple times and be relatively OK.

Jack dying? Horrible but I have seen it a few times.

Train Episode? I definitely cry but I manage.

Randall's breakdown? Totally fine.

BUT the scene with Uncle Nicky at the airport and the snowglobes break? I skip it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

It is the most heartbreaking scene of the entire show, full stop.

The hate Kate gets is so ridiculous and frustrating. I wish people would just admit they hate her because she’s fat and a woman.

So I’ve been on a This is Us binge and I just finished the series finale. That show is seriously legendary, one for the books.

I was thinking about what Kevin, Kate, and Randall’s version of “The Train” will be when they cross over into the afterlife someday.

Given that they said the first thing they see when they think about family is each other and their parents, my first thought was the old Pearson family car. Imagine them dying and waking up in the backseat as a kid/teen, with Rebecca in the front seat and Jack driving 🥹.

I finally watched This is Us for the first time this year, then a second time and partially a 3rd because I couldn't stop rewatching when I showed my fiancé on my second watch.

I know Jack Pearson isn't real and that this show isn't real. It hit me hard, though, and I identified with the adult Pearson children on multiple levels because I was about their age when I lost my father. I'm definitely gonna have a lot of to hash out on here as far as my analysis and thoughts on This is Us, but I just wanted to leave this here for now.
