Who is currently in the cult that grace and Wanda created and what are their family roles? Btw does the cult have a name?
The cult doesn't really have a name, but we personally call them "The Forever Cult" or "The Butcher Family" when referring to them.
The members are Wanda Butcher, Grace McNally, Jack Davis, Abel Owens, Katherine (Kattie/"Kitty") Clyde, and Isabelle Butcher. The rest of the family usually use the last name "Butcher" but those are their legal names. They all function under the alias of a family unit, though are roughly still a family.
In the face of the public, Wanda and Jack usually pretend to be the parents, while Abel, Kattie, and Isabelle are their kids. In reality their unit is a lot more complex.
Although the older adults, Wanda Jack, and Grace, tend to be seen as more parental, it really depends on the kid. Kattie is a lot closer to Jack and Wanda, first Wanda later Jack. Meanwhile Abel is very selective around people and is only really close to Kattie and Grace when it comes to seeing people as parental figures.
Meanwhile Isabelle is only really close with Wanda, and loyal at least to Kattie. She hates Abel at first but later finds she cares for him too. The three adults relationship also tend to be complicated, Jack and Wanda have a love hate relationship and are either arm in arm in allegiance or at eachothers necks in authority. Grace meanwhile tends to keep the peace as she means a lot to them both. Wanda being her romantic partner, and Jack having a close relationship with her that they both can't really describe beyond "not romantic, but not just friends."
But as for them individually:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wanda is the head of the cult, taking over during a period of Jack's absence. She tends to orchestrate plans and is generally the most fanatic. Despite a brief detour where her and Grace became addicted to a substance called Tarnished Gold, her main goal and the goal of the cult, is to gain immortal life and unravel the mysteries of The Flipside. Wanda also has a vampiric entity attached to her, known as "The Butcher." Which comes out when she has not consumed enough "Gold," and has a bad habit of eating anything and anyone around her. Feeding on blood and automatically transforming it into "Gold."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jack is the one who first pulled Wanda into him and Grace's plan, making them a unit of 3 killers. Jack and Grace are the ones who new eachother for the longest, not counting Kattie and Abel who grew up together, as for many years him and Grace lived together in a queer platonic relationship. Jack had a partnership with a Flipside entity which exchanged knowledge with him for a piece of Jack's being, symbolized by taking his two front teeth. Jack was able to get in contact with this entity, and pursued by it, due to being a "Philosopher." A human with otherworldly powers that are directly tethered to The Flipside in a way.
But despite having these powers, Jack is actually one of the weakest Philosopher's in the series, and that power is cut in half even further after his deal. Jack and Wanda tend to be the heads of the operation interchangeably.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Grace is the most deadly of the cult, without taking "The Butcher" into account. After an accident her and Jack had, regarding the entity Jack was in contact with, Grace was scarred with one time use alchemical symbols that made her body able to heal from almost any injury. Symbols originally made for Jack, and she's important to the plan because of this. In short, she's essentially a Slasher villain in ability. I make jokes about it often but she could be run over by a car or shot with a shotgun and will get up near moments later. Her wounds will close, her bones will snap back into place, and she'll continue pursuing whoever she's after.
Some injuries take longer to heal, and she normally does have a recovery period, but the immediate damage doesn't slow her down. She's usually the one who brings back the bodies, along with Wanda.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Abel and Kattie are adoptive siblings in a sense. They both grew up together as orphans, going from foster house to foster house, and once Kattie became an adult, she became Abel's legal guardian to get him out of the system. Abel is a teen for most of the story while Kattie floats more around early to mid 20s.
Abel for a good portion of their life, has been fighting leukemia, which has gone in and out of remission several times. He's at the same time also dealt with being paraded around like a savant, taking college level chemistry since late middle school. He later honed this chemistry, into the cults alchemy and production of a more pure and clean version of "Gold." Which he uses as a medicine to treat himself. Meanwhile Kattie, worked hard in robotics, which started as her modifying toys in her teens or making brand new ones. Later specializing in prosthetics and mechanical mannequins. She uses these skills to help and improve Isabelle, as well as her and Abel combine both their skills together to make mechanical monsters and other dangerous devices of sorts. Kattie and Abel tend to be more of the straight men out of the group, while ironically being the 2nd and 3rd youngest.

Shoot- *Katty backed up behind Clyde*
Clyde scooped her up. “She’s not causing any problems, sir.”
“She can stay, then. Your sudden interest in Stickmin is all I wanted to discuss. You may go now, Clyde.”

The Miniature Tales Collection. #3 Heartbreak Rock
“Adeline Young was my soul mate, my kindred, Thelma to my Louise, the other half of me. We’d been inseparable since birth, our mums met in the hospital, and we were born four hours apart. Since our mums were raising us alone, they decided to stay close, to help each other out, so we never spent more four hours apart ever again. My whole life, Adeline was there. We went through everything together, and we had the same mind, it felt as if we were twins, who somehow managed to be housed in different wombs, until our arrival on this Earth. We were the happiest children you’d ever seen, we thought life would alway be like that, but we were wrong. Our eleventh birthday is when the sadness crept in, a sadness Adeline would never shift, and I wouldn’t until many years later, although it didn’t feel like that at the time, and it turns out I never actually did. We began to notice our father’s absence in our life, two separate men that had decided they didn’t want us, before we’d even been properly created, two separate men that to us, felt like the same one. I guess if you were a psychologist you’d say this is why we always got screwed over by boys, ‘daddy issues’ or something, but related, or unrelated, we got screwed over by a lot of boys. Although we both dressed in black, never brushed our hair, and never left the house without thick black lines around our eyes, Adeline was the pretty one. She wore red lipstick, she was the one the boys noticed, she was the one the boys would kiss, she was the one the boys would fuck and then throw away. She was the one that paid the price for being pretty. Adeline was a hopeless romantic, delusional was the word I’d always use, she watched all those old movies with the perfect couples, and the happy endings, she dreamed about falling in love, and she did, constantly. Every week she fell in love, with Sam, with Ricky, with Johnny, with Pete, with Sam again. She had such a big heart, she believed the best in everyone. Every week she fell in love, and every week she fell apart. One day, when we were twelve, Adeline gave everything to a boy named Tom, and all he gave her was the cold shoulder, two hours later. After every break up, we’d wait for the full moon and climb up heartbreak rock, a cliff by the ocean that got it’s name hundreds of years ago, when a young girl, grief stricken with the lose of her love in the war, and his baby that came out stillborn, threw herself onto the rocks below. They said that when her body was found, she was wearing a beautiful flowing white dress, the one she wore for her wedding, they assumed. For some reason, we found comfort there, it was the only place we felt like we belonged, an acceptance would wash over us like the waves below, and Adeline would burn pictures of the boys that hurt her. If she didn’t have a picture, she’d write his name on a piece of paper and all the things he did wrong, then burn that. It wasn’t until I was thirteen, that I joined in on the ritual, having grown boobs by then, the boys were starting to notice me. We hated going to school, everyone called us ‘witches’ or ‘freaks’, and they’d write ‘slut’ on our notebooks. We didn’t have any friends, but we had a saying, ‘from the cradle to the grave’, we knew we’d be friends forever, and we told ourselves we didn’t need anyone else. On our fourteenth birthday I cut myself for the first time, our mums had tried to ‘cheer us up’ by inviting all of our friends from class to a birthday party at the local hall. Nobody turned up, and when we decided to go to heartbreak rock, the only place we felt something like happiness, we got egged by a bunch of people from school. We ran home, tears streaming down our faces, and when we both sat in my bathtub with black tear stained cheeks, I ran a razor blade along the inside of my thigh, as Adeline watched. I can’t describe how good it felt, like I’d just released the pain of the poison trapped inside an infected cut, like I’d just lifted a ton of bricks from my chest and now I could breathe, like this, was living.   As soon as I put the blade down, Adeline picked it up, she cut her thigh in exactly the same place as I had cut mine, and seemed to experience the same nirvana as I had. She then grabbed my hand and cut into my palm, I winced as she did the same to hers, she then held her bloody hand tight with mine and whispered, “your blood, my blood!” before kissing me on the forehead. We always cut ourselves together after that. On Adeline's fifteenth birthday we made a pact, a pact that seemed so right, so natural, so beautiful to us. We told each other that if our lives didn’t get any better by our sixteenth birthday, we would take our own life, and we meant it. We spent the whole night researching suicides, and idolising Romeo and Juliet, Bonnie and Clyde, Sid and Nancy. “From the cradle to the grave, for real.” was the last thing Adeline said to me, before we cried ourselves to sleep. As our sixteenth birthday approached we were still painfully unhappy, and I began to prepare myself for my unspoken goodbyes. On 16th August 1984, Adeline and I sat on her bed for the last time, and she handed me a box sealed with ribbons. Inside was the most beautiful white dress, with long lace sleeves, and a ribbon round the waist, as I looked back at her, she was holding up the same one. We put on our matching white dresses in front of the mirror, and Adeline lingered there, as if she was saying goodbye to all the parts of her. With guilt in our hearts from telling the most horrible lie, a lie they wouldn’t identify until we were already gone, we kissed our mums goodbye, and walked hand in hand to heartbreak rock.   As we stood at the edge of the cliff looking down at the angry waves, we felt the opposite, Adeline squeezed my hand as she still held it in hers, and as we looked at each other, the wind blowing through our hair, she said, “I love you, Katty.” I said, “I love you too, Addy.” and I had never felt more beautiful. “On the count of three.” she whispered, and we said it together, “one, two..” and as we said three, we bent our knees and leaped into the sea. At least that’s how I like to imagine it happened, but on the morning of August 17th, I was standing alone at the top of heartbreak rock, and Adeline was alone at the bottom. Her beautiful white dress had turned pink from the diluted blood, and mine was still perfectly white. I watched for a long time as the waves crashed over her, they were so rough I was surprised they hadn’t dragged her away, and in a way I wished they would, I wished they’d carry her far, far away from the place that had broken her, broken us. There are moments in your life, that trap you in time. These moments anchor themselves to your mind, and allow you to conjured them as clearly and as real, as they were when they were happening. I see my bathroom door, I see my bare feet muddy from the run home, I see the white lace at my wrists. I see myself look up as I sit silently on the toilet lid, I hear her voice, I hear the silence from inside. Why didn’t I just open my mouth, why didn’t I unlock the door, why didn’t I stop her. My dearest Adeline Young, she always will be young, sweet sixteen forever. She never got the chance to grow up, but if she had grown up, if she’d have only stuck it out a little longer, she’d see that life did get better. It got better for me, of course I was only half of a person, but eventually I was happy, I did fall in love, and I did have friends. When all you know is a life at school, you start to believe that that’s all life is, that you’ll always be a slut, that you’ll never have friends, that you’ll always be sad. You don’t realise that when you leave, your life, and you, will change constantly, so if ever you are sad or struggling, you are only one decision, or one day, or year away from a totally different life, a better life. Life is crazy that way, it’s exciting that way, if only you knew Addy, If only she got to see how life got better. I’ve lived sixteen years, five months and seventeen days without Adeline, that’s five months and seventeen days longer than I lived with her, I realised that today. And if I had just stood up, or spoke up that night, I wouldn’t have had to. Adeline would have lived, I know she would have, and she would have eventually seen, the problems we had back then, they weren’t problems, I can’t even remember half the reasons we cried ourselves to sleep, or what had seemed so bad, we needed to mutilated our bodies. Of course at the time, it seemed like the end of the world, obviously, but if we’d only had the strength to see past the present, she would have had a future, like me. Looking back, we really were okay, but I’m not okay with having lived sixteen years, five months and seventeen days without Adeline. To the grave, Addy. Love, Katherine Price Xx” The officer who’d been holding the letter in front of him as he read it aloud, now slowly dropped it down to his side, revealing the image of her, Katherine Price, beautiful Katherine Price, laid in a sea of red. Her left arm was hanging delicately out of the bathtub, the bathtub that now had dark red bloodstains down the side of it, from the dark red blood that had hours earlier, flowed from her punctured heart and out of her freshly opened wrist. Beautiful Katherine Price, beautiful even in death. Wearing a white dress, with long lace sleeves, and a ribbon round the waist.

C'mon Clyde lets do some spy stuff!
Clyde turned, noticing Katty. “Alright, just...don’t talk too much. A talking cat might freak my boss out a bit. I’m on my way to talk to him, probably due to my sudden interest in Henry.”

Why is everyone saying weird threats?
(Katty still doesn't see colour as sus)
“D-do you really not realize that Colour might be a traitor?” He asked quietly.

I would summon one but that might set off alarms or something.
He nodded. “Yeah...it would...”

Clyde looked at Colour nervously, then shook his head. “Nope...”

*Katty purred when Clyde picked them up*
Clyde smiled at Katty, turning and leaving his boss alone, closing the door with a sigh. “That was a close one...I thought he already figured us out.”

*Katty sat next to Clyde's desk and watched the door in case anyone came*
Clyde smiled at her, then looked at Color again. “Anyway, why did you want to know?”
Tumblr media
“Color. What are you hinting at?” Clyde asked, extremely tense. “Are- are you going to betray the general? You can’t. You can’t do that, they- they’ll hurt Henry if you tell someone! They’ll kill him or put him in a coma, you can’t tell anyone about this!”

*Katty stayed beside Clyde and tried to act like a normal cat licking their paws*
Bill raised his eyebrow, looking at Katty suspiciously, but not doing anything.

Is there anything we can do to help? *Katty looked very worried*
Henry smiled, petting Katty. "Just being here is a great help. I don't really want to be alone. I'm not starving yet, and I'm not too injured. Eh, if you do want to help, you could follow Clyde and spy on his boss to see if you can get information, but," Henry frowned. "I'm not sure if he'd do anything to you guys. I'm not worth that risk."

We could try to put a camera in Henry's room! Then we can catch on camera what they are doing to him! *Katty is ignoring how sus colour is*

Clyde smiled shakily at Katty, then flinched at Color patted his back. “U-understood...” He said softly.

Clyde looked at Helper a little nervously.

Oh I didn't even know that! *Katty looked happy knowing the new information*
Clyde nodded, returning to his desk and typing an email to Wilson.
