ran had taken you out on a date in one of the clubs haitani brothers owned in roppongi cause you felt like dancing. and it was fun, until the leader of another gang tried to lay his hands on you. ran had dragged the guy out into an alley and both of them weren't their prettiest version to look at. you couldn't stand the sound of two men hitting each other, sight of the blood spilling on the floor gave you a sharp headache; reminded you of how your father used to hit your older brother.

"ran..." you couldn't even find the strength to call out his name so you sat down on the floor, wrapping your arms around your knees as you cried. ran, recognizing the sound of you sniffling even while he's fighting, handed the guy over to his men before kneeling next to you.

"darling i'm so sorry, okay?" you felt his hands running through your hair. "i try so hard not to get into a fight when you're around but that bitch was hella outta line." his other hand drew circles on your back as you shifted your head from your arms to look at him. he gave you a little smile and cupped your face before kissing every inch.

it was a regular day, rin was checking documents for business in his office and you were reading your book laying on the couch, but not after some guy you didn't recognize barged into the office and attacked rin.

all you could think about as rin yelled was the sight of your 10 year old self cornered by bullies and getting beaten until you passed out. you tried to breathe but you choked, collapsing on the floor as you tried to get to the door. tears started streaming down your face as if the scars all over your body still hurt like they were made yesterday.

rin sweared and dragged the passed out guy to the corridor before shutting the door and kneeling in front of you.

"honey, look at me."

all you could do was to sob as he pulled you to himself, leaning your head on his chest and stroking your back.

"y/n, it's okay baby, i'm sorry 'right?" he kissed your forehead. "you're always safe with me, no one can hurt you."

rin tied your hair with your hairclip on his wrist before you tilted your head to look at him, his hand lingered on your nape, slowly stroking it to calm you down.

it was an ordinary night for you and sanzu, him getting high on drugs in the back of the club as you sat on his lap and kept yourself busy with whatever you had in hand. sadly, your routine was disrupted when the rival gang members busted the place. before you could get a grasp on what's happening sanzu was there beating the shit out of some guy, swearing and talking about how he couldn't have a second of peace in this shithole.

suddenly all you could hear was your childhood friend crying for help as the older kids ganged up on him and beat him up as you sat there helpless, knowing you were too weak to interfere.

"haru, stop!" you were sobbing while sanzu kept beating up the wrecked up guy.

"huh? why ya cryin', doll?" sanzu threw the guy on the floor and made his way to you. he wrapped his arms around your body as he stroked your hair.

"shhh, stop crying; yeah? 's okay now darlin'. let's take you home, i'll make you forget about all this shit, yeah?" sanzu kissed your lips and picked you up.

Hey guys! I made playlists for both Phoenix and Miles! (Explanation for certain songs and rant under the cut)

There's some songs I couldn't add to Miles' playlist (Like the song "Decree Of A Prosecutor" from Turnabout: The Musical) that I really wanted too, but they weren't on Spotify. I got some other songs in there to make up for the ones I couldn't get in there, though.

I tried to do a thing where the songs go in the order of their lives? Like, in chronological order from when they were kids to present day? I thought it'd be cool and it's much easier to wrap my head around than just placing songs on the playlist. I like it having an order.

I also did a thing where some of the same songs are on both their playlists, and where a lot of the same artists are on both playlists because I like symbolism and shit. Some songs I took from other's playlists cause I wanted to make them have an equal number of songs and some I took from animatics and shit too.

Also, a lot of these songs aren't on a lot of the regular Miles and Phoenix playlists you see... BUT I LOVE THEM AND THEY FIT PERFECTLY OK? I also tried to do a thing where I put songs that I personally think they would listen too.

(Also lmao I took some of these songs from Stan and Ford's from Gravity Falls playlists on Spotify cause they really work together like...)

I'll talk about a couple of them cause I wanna so badly.

Phoenix's Playlist:

I had an easy time finding songs for this motherfucker, and a lot of them are really good. There's a couple of songs I wanna explain though.

"The Great Pretender" is the most fucking Phoenix song ever. Like, holy shit. Kind of theater kid esc because "Pretending" yk? And it feels like he's always putting on a show and shit I don't know. Perfect.

"My Girl" and "Count On Me" are Pearl and Maya songs respectively. I see a lot of people do this thing where they make playlists for characters and only put songs based on the romantic relationships with that character and like. Uh. No? What about their family? What about their friends? People forget about that a lot and I don't like it so "My Girl" is kind of a Pearl being Phoenix semi-daughter song and "Count On Me" is a Maya best friend song.

OK SO, also "Poison" from Hazbin Hotel is on here and listen, I don't know if Phoenix would listen to this song BUT GODDAMN DOES IT GO WITH HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH KRISTOPH PERFECTLY. I put a lot of Krisnix/Kristoph songs on here ("Vampire" and "Wolf In Sheep's Clothing" mainly) because holy shit I love toxic tragic yuri.

Oh also, "Never Ever Getting Rid Of Me" is the most Phoenix/Feenie song ever. Everyone always goes on and on about how "When He Sees Me" is a Miles song and it is BUT NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT "Never Ever Getting Rid Of Me" GIRL IT'S RIGHT THERE HOW DO YOU NOT SEE IT?

Ya'll don't get how much "The Run And Go" is SUCH a "Turnabout Goodbyes" song. It's so fucking good and it fits my boy so well. Just please, PLEASE LISTEN TO IT.

"Where I Want To Be" is a huge Miles song. I imagine him signing it when he's about ready to do his whole "Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth Chooses Death" thing it's soooo good. Also it's from a musical called "Chess" GUYS COME ON.

"Business Man" is soooo him and Von Karma.

"Wait For It" Please for the love of God that is such a Miles song. You guys don't know how much Hamilton has affected my view of these gay lawyers.

"Puppet Boy" Also slaps so hard.

"Death As A Fetish" is also a really good one for him.

Oh ok, so "Dear Sister, Your Brother" is a Miles and Franziska song that I absolutely love. People don't give this song enough credit.

Ok so "Brown-Eyed Girl" and "Vienna" are Kay and Sebastian songs respectively. Love them soooo much. They deserved a couple songs on his playlists because they are his children.

"Karma" is self-explanitory.

OK FINALLY WE'RE ON TO BOTH OF THEIR SONGS.

Fucking love putting Jet Lag on both of their playlists cause it fits them soooo well.

Also "Best Worst Mistake" from If/Then is their anthem. Like. Holy shit.

I love "If You Were Gay" from Avenue Q for them. They're so stupid and it fits them.

Um anyway, that's it.

Oh also, the friendship songs at the beginning aren't for just Miles and Phoenix. LARRY IS A PART OF THEIR GROUP TOO.

Oh also the two “Family” songs on both of their playlists is just me saying “EVERYONE IN THE WRIGHT ANYTHING AGENCY AND THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE ARE FAMILY”.

Also guys, I soooo badly wanted to put "Objections" on here but I couldn't find it on Spotify (Go figure) I'm guessing a lot of you haven't heard it before? Or maybe have? It's a fanmade opening for Ace Attorney and IT SLAPS SOOOO HARD. It's old but soooo good guys. Guys. Ya'll need to get in on the fan songs seriously.

5 - Halo 1x01 This was a great way to bring Chief in, IMO! I mean, what is more Chief-like than falling out of the sky into the middle of some enemies, right? At the time, I only knew the games vaguely but, even still, I thought the suit looked AWESOME here. And now that I do know the games... I still think it looks awesome, what can I say?

I would pair this lovely opening scene with a Classic Coke Zero because... Chief is a classic! 😎👍

4 - Halo 1x04 Oh man, this one hits me in the feels every time. I love how you see all of these emotions go through him: curiosity, longing, confusion, ending with him looking away and pulling some resolve back around himself. Because he's feeling this want to be loved, to have someone to laugh with, to care about and who'll care about him, and he doesn't know what to do with that. It doesn't fit a lifetime of Spartan training. He's not supposed to want those things, he's not even supposed to think about those things. But now he is and nothing is going to be the same ever again.

I would pair this with a cup of Maxwell House Chai Latte because it's coffee... but it's tea. But it's coffee and tea. And it's confusing but... I like it. 😂😉

3 - Halo 1x04 I love that we finally get to see a reserved playfulness between them! Plus, him reference that line that Kwan told him serves to both show that he's learning, he understands why she said that to him, but it also was a way to link Kwan back to all of this time away from her. I know it would've been difficult to keep them involved with each other after they separated but it would've done a lot to make her story feel more necessary if that link between them would've been somehow strengthened instead of just vanishing. I mean, a couple of quick calls? Something to let them talk and connect? I dunno. There wasn't really time in his plot, I know but it would've gone a long way if they could've found a way, IMO. 🤷‍♀️

I would pair this scene with a Dr Pepper Cream Soda Zero, because it's light, sweet and fizzy! 💖

2 - Halo 1x09 This entire scene, as he slowly realizes that he's going to have to cease to exist in order for Cortana to both save Silver Team and to recover the Artifact... It's just good. Not only are we seeing his trust in Cortana bloom at last but the thing that always gets me in this final moment, as he tells her that he trusts her, is the look on his face. He's not angry anymore, not railing against the events that have brought him to this point, not raging against what Halsey did to him by implanting an AI into his brain with the intention of replacing him in his own body. No, he looks almost peaceful, resolved. He's ready to accept his fate, whatever it may be. *clutches him to my fangirly heart*

I would pair this with a nice cup of Oolong tea, my favorite kind. 🍵

Honorable mention:

Halo 1x06 Now, this isn't for the obvious reasons, I promise, lol! He looks and sounds like he's dying in this scene and yet NOBODY checks on him? That bugged me so much that I wrote a one-shot fic about it. It was originally going to make use of an OC but I made a last minute decision to redo it as a Reader fic instead. And that was "15 Minutes" which became one of the most favorite things I've ever written (and spun off a series, also featuring "Recreation" a Kai x Male!Reader fic, both still on-going).

I would pair this scene with a cup of delicious Folgers Mocha Chocolate Flavored Cappuccino ☕ in gratitude for all it ended up giving me. 😉

Annnnd *drum-roll* for our winner, winner, chicken dinner!

1 - Halo 1x06 Since I had this one in video form, I had to go ahead and include it like this. MANNNN, this scene! Everybody here was acting their butts off, IMO. Halsey went from surprised to stern to absolutely terrified over the course of the scene. I really wasn't sure at the time if Cortana could have forced him to open the door or if she was playing the odds that he wouldn't let Halsey die. 🤷‍♀️👀 And John was genuinely scary here. His anger is clearly burning under an icy resolve and, again, I wasn't sure up until that last second if he was legit going to let her die. I mean, unless they were going to turn Chief into a straight-up murderer, then I knew he wouldn't, but dannnng, I can't think of much else that would be scarier than a Spartan looking at you with such hatred and contempt. 😱😱😱

I would pair this scene with the tears of Chief's enemies because they would be overflowing and plentiful. 👀😳😉

Highschool AU! → Football player!Dream, Cheerleader!George & "Nerd"!Sapnap.

Sapnap huffed as he crossed his arms, gazing at the loud sound of the football game. He could see both his boyfriends on the field; Dream was playing while George was cheering for the team. He loved the two of them, but he couldn't help but be upset at them; he felt neglected.

His boyfriends have been focusing on their practices more than they usually did. Hi! I wanted your opinion on something i've been thinking about, with taennie coming out and stuff. Do you remember when Jungkook was seen leaving a meat restaurant and, supposedly, there was a girl with him? You can see her standing outside. What do you think of that?

In my opinion, it was more likely to be a staff, since they're always accompanied by managers/staff wherever they go. I don't think Jungkook would be that bold like Taehyung. I also believe in Jikook, but I remembered it and started thinking about it.

the minute he saw fresh, purple bruises showing under your ripped clothes and the blood on your face; whoever had done this to you can be considered as dead, i mean it.

baji has been trying to reach you for the whole night but you didn't answer his calls and text, he also didn't know where you were so he felt so relieved when you cracked the door open and walked into the room

yeah, he was relieved. for just a second.

"y/n? where were you for fucks sake? i've been worried sick-"

baji's eyes widens and he cuts off his sentence when he sees you standing in front of him. tears streaming down your face covered in blood and wounds, purple bruises on your arms; legs and stomach, your ripped clothes... he freezes up for a second until you start sniveling.

"who did this to you?"

baji's voice comes out as cold as ice, a new kind of anger takes over his whole body; he feels cold from head to toe, thinking only about how he was gonna kill the scum(s) who dared to lay a hand on you.

"let's patch you up, aight? c'mere."

baji grabs your hand, gently sitting you on the couch before he make his way to the first aid kit. all he can think about is your health and safety, million questions run thru his head as he sits in front of you and gets to work. should he take you to the hospital? he could clean up your face but what if something happened to your organs? is he hurting you? were you gonna be okay? were you scared?

"brave girl, almost over 'kay? hold on a bit more."

helps you shower and makes you a warm tea before trying to bring who did this to you out of your mouth again.

"you're safe now, angel. no one will ever get to you again, i promise. i'll kill everyone who dares to lay a hand on you."

mikey had just got home from a toman meeting when you rang the doorbell. the meeting took the whole night since they were preparing for a battle with one of the other gangs, he was tired.

but he forgot all about his tiredness, the meeting, the battle and the other gangs when he saw your face full of tears and cuts and your body full of purple bruises.

"y/n-cchi! today's meeting was to tiring-"

it took a few seconds for mikey to process you were standing in front of the door, with bruises and wounds because someone had assaulted you.

"who was it?"

same as baji, the very first thing he thought about was that who he was gonna kill. his voice was emotion-free, he spoke with that voice he uses when everybody knows he's gonna hurt someone real bad.

"it's okay, let's clean your wounds. we can talk about this later."

mikey's voice softens as he saw how scared you are, keeping the door wide open for you to get in.

he calls draken, since he's not good with cleaning wounds, and tries to act calm when every inch of his body burns with a new level of anger.

"this will never happen again, y/n. i'll protect you."

Now, I'd like to think Chamille, Griffin, Shade, and Ash would be the dudes asking about the drama between Cole and Jay, and eventually Nya getting involved in the questions.

They are the gossip lovers, in my opinion.

I'd like to think maybe some people would be curious on how Nya snuck onto the island. I'd think Tox would ask definally. But no one else is in my mind for asking the same thing.

I'd think Skylor (And whoever else was in the scene that I can't remember) would be slow to want to hang out with Kai with seeing what he could do with big power.

But I think, for Skylor specifically, would hang out with him after actually learning about his history outside of the island. She did seem to live their her whole childhood.

Also, I think all of them would talk with Zane. No one specific for me to think of for asking about how he is alive again.
