okay but, despite not rping Kayako for probably well over a year, she woNT LEAVE ME ALONE. i seem to always have a really strong muse for her? and can we just talk about the fact that i get the strongest urges to write her when my fucking neck and back start playing up like... bitch, stop trying to possess me, it ain't cool. it’s like she’s going ‘i was the first. i’ve been here since you were 15 years old. i’ve been with you nearly half your life. I AINT GOIN ANYWHERE BITCH’ and she won’t leave so...

just curious, would anyone actually write with her if i were to revive her blog? i would probably have her as a side blog to web because i’m on him the most out of all my muses. lemme know if you would actually want to write with her.

KAYAKO SAEKI ~ AGE: 39 ~ OCCUPATION: SOCIAL WORKER

IN A PAST LIFE:

Kayako was happy for a time, with her husband Takeo and their young son, Toshio. However, when Kayako started attending classes at college, she developed a romantic crush on one of her professors, and wrote about this attraction in her diary. Her husband discovered the diary entries, and thought Kayako was having an affair. He flew into a rage and murdered his wife, and then drowned their son in the bathtub. Not long after, Kayako’s spirit returned in the form of a vengeful ghost, and killed her husband. From then on, the ghosts of Kayako and Toshio haunted their house, and terrorized a family who moved into the house. After several efforts by the family to banish her ghost, she was eventually pulled into the town of Chicanery.

HERE IN CHICANERY:

Kayako moved to Chicanery after getting out of an abusive relationship, looking to start a new life. Now single, she is hesitant to trust people at first, fearing that her naivety was to blame for her getting involved with her previous partner in the first place. Even so, she is warm-hearted and kind, and is especially sympathetic towards young women and children. This has stuck with her for her entire life, hence why she became a social worker. She wants to help people and prevent them from suffering the way that she did, and make sure that troubled or orphaned children find the loving homes that they deserve. 

WHISPERS AROUND TOWN:

She is the roommate of Samara Morgan, who is equal parts like a younger sister and a daughter to her. Percival “Pinhead” Orsino is her neighbour, and got her a job working at his practice. There is a subtle, shy sort of flirtation between the two of them, though neither will act on it. She is a frequent patron of the library, and thus has befriended Carrie White. She played a key role in helping Thomas “Leatherface” Hewitt adopt his daughter Angela Baker, and continues to check up on them.

These two were concepts that lend to the “Versus” image that I finished not that long ago. 

Today has been kinda rough; I woke up slightly dehydrated, which happens off and on with some of the medication I take. That made it really hard to focus on artwork today, so I went back and colored the top one. The second was just another image I put on the back burner. And I’ve honestly felt horrible the last few weeks, an obnoxious depression I’m dealing with.

Anyway, this stemmed through RP (surprise) when I was explaining to an RP partner that the Queen of Hearts was the opposite of Alice, completely... which is funny because I saw art for the proposed Alice 3 go up with “Shadow Alice” after McGee has been talking about it during the summer. I’ve been sitting there like “... i-isn’t the Queen technically her shadow?”.

I have no idea anymore!

I’m not going into too many details with this RP because.... well, shipping crap. I had this idea of Alice at least talking to the Queen, and the Queen’s evolution would be from that monstrosity of the first game to her child self, and then to an image of Alice, completely. I went back and pulled images from “La Reine Margot” since I’ve used Isabelle Adjani as a reference to Alice before (and a little of Lily Collins) so this happened. And the “Brothers Grimm” Mirror Queen or whatever for the style.

Not posting it to my art site since these are technically concepts that helped me do a full piece. But I really like the first image and the intensity of the Queen in that top image. I had an idea of her hair being like Mistress 9′s ... that has no end in sight, I’m pretty sure.

Like Kayako Saeki.  Honestly, blame Ju-On 2. In case you haven’t noticed, I’m a Kayako fangirl.
