Getting Started: Download Minecraft and Master the Basics
Minecraft, the iconic sandbox game developed by Mojang Studios, has captured the hearts of millions of players worldwide with its endless possibilities and immersive gameplay. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the world of video games, Minecraft offers a delightful and accessible experience that allows you to unleash your creativity and embark on exciting adventures. If you're ready to dive into this pixelated world, here's a guide on how to get started by downloading Minecraft and mastering the basics. - Choosing the Right Version: Minecraft is available in several editions, so the first step is to decide which version suits your needs. The two primary versions are Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. Java Edition is the original version of Minecraft, available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It offers extensive modding capabilities and a vibrant community of modders. Bedrock Edition, on the other hand, is designed for consoles, mobile devices, and Windows 10. It supports cross-platform play and offers a slightly different gameplay experience. - Purchasing Minecraft: Once you've decided on the edition, you can purchase Minecraft from the official website (minecraft.net) or your platform's respective digital store. Minecraft offers a one-time payment model, meaning you buy the game once and receive all future updates for free. - Installing Minecraft: After purchasing the game, follow the instructions provided to download and install Minecraft on your chosen platform. The installation process is usually straightforward and user-friendly, guiding you through the necessary steps. Make sure your computer or device meets the minimum system requirements to ensure optimal performance. - Launching Minecraft: Once the installation is complete, launch the game by double-clicking the Minecraft icon or selecting it from your device's application menu. You'll be greeted with the Minecraft launcher, which allows you to access different versions of the game, manage profiles, and adjust settings. - Navigating the Main Menu: The Minecraft main menu is where you'll find various options to start playing and explore the game's features. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the menu, which typically includes options like "Singleplayer" (to play offline), "Multiplayer" (to join servers or play with friends), "Options" (to adjust game settings), and "Quit Game" (to exit Minecraft). - Starting a New World: To begin your Minecraft journey, select "Singleplayer" from the main menu and then click "Create New World." Here, you can customize your world by choosing a name, adjusting difficulty settings, and selecting a game mode. The default game mode is Survival, where you gather resources, craft items, and fend off enemies. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, you can opt for Creative mode, which gives you unlimited resources and the ability to fly. - Exploring and Building: Once you've generated your world, you'll find yourself in the immersive and blocky landscapes of Minecraft. Use the WASD keys (or joystick) to move your character and the mouse (or touch controls) to look around. Press the E key (or open the inventory) to access your inventory, where you'll find various building blocks and items to aid your adventure. To mine blocks, approach them and hold down the left mouse button (or use the corresponding controls). Collect resources like wood, stone, and ores, which you can then use to craft tools, weapons, and structures. To craft items, open the inventory, select the crafting table icon, and place the necessary ingredients in the crafting grid according to the recipe. As you explore and gather resources, be mindful of hostile mobs that come out at night, such as zombies and skeletons. Craft weapons, armor, and torches to defend yourself and light up your surroundings. And don't forget how to set up a minecraft server

Minecraft: Pocket Edition now Available on IOS in new Zealand as A Universal App
MineCon 2011, the meatspace-based convention for everything Minecraft will not begin until this Friday however, it hasn't stopped big news from creeping out earlier. Minecraft: Pocket Edition made the switch to the Android Marketplace in the last month following an extended time of exclusivity for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play mobile phone. While those were definitely greener (blocky) pastures, today's jump to iPhone and iPad will open up an even bigger world of possibilities for the portable Sandbox. Kd76
Minecraft: Pocket Edition was launched today on the New Zealand iTunes App Store. This means that a single purchase will work on the iPhone and iPad. The $9.99 NZD price will translate to PS4.99 or 6.99 when it becomes available or the Android Marketplace release.

Minecraft Creator on Microsoft Deal: It's all about My Sanity'
Minecraft creator on Microsoft deal: 'It's about my mental health'
Shortly after Microsoft announced that it would acquire Minecraft Mojang, a developer of Minecraft, for $2.5bn, (PS1.5bn), Markus Persson, the Swedish developer behind Markus Persson - also known as Notch -- released his own personal statement regarding the acquisition. We've reproduced it in full below:
I'm leaving Mojang
I don't consider myself a game developer. I create games to have fun and because I love programming. But I don't want to create huge hits. I also don’t want to make a mark on the world.
Minecraft was certainly a huge hit and people are saying that it's changed games. I never meant for it to do either. It's certainly pleasing, and to gradually get placed in a public spotlight is interesting.
It was a long time ago that I decided to quit Minecraft development. Jens was the ideal person to take over leading the project, and I was eager to explore things that were completely new. While I tried to grow it again at first, I was unsuccessful. https://kd76.com/ But, since I chose to stick to small prototypes, intriguing challengeshave come up, and I've enjoyed so much doing my work,
I wasn't sure exactly what I was supposed to do in Mojang where people do actual work, but since people said I was essential to the culture, I decided to stay.
A couple of weeks ago, I was suffering from a terrible cold at home, and the internet went wild with hate about me because of an EULA situation in which I had nothing. I was confused. I didn't understand. I posted this frustration on Twitter.
Later I looked at the This is Phil Fish YouTube video and realized that I didn't feel the same connection I thought I did with my fans. I have become a symbol. I don't want to be an object of ridicule. I don't want be accountable for something I don’t understand. I don't want to do anything about. I'm not an entrepreneur. I'm not a chief executive officer. I'm a geeky computer programmer who loves to share opinions on Twitter.
After the deal is concluded and I'm done, I'll be leaving Mojang to go back to web experiments and Ludum Dares. I'll probably end any project I develop that gains momentum.
Given that the public image of me is already a bit skewed, I don't expect to be free of negative feedback by doing this, but at least now I don't have a need to read them.
This is in direct contradiction to a lot of my public statements. I don't have a good answer to that. I am also aware that many of you used me as a symbol for the perceived struggle. I'm not. I'm a person, and I'm right there struggling with you.
You are my best friend. You're all amazing. Thank you for turning Minecraft into what it is now however, there are too many of you, and I'm not able to be responsible for something this big. It is Microsoft's property now in one sense. In a more broad sense, it's been a part of everyone for a long time, and that's not going to change.
It's not about money. It's about my mental wellbeing.

Minecraft Remains a Hugely Popular Game as the Top 200 million in Sales and 126 million Play Monthly
Minecraft remains extremely popular with sales topping 200 million and 126 million players each month
Minecraft is still very popular, with sales that exceed 200 million and 126 millions of players per month
Minecraft continues to grow despite being 11 years old

Minecraft has officially sold more than 200 million copies, with 126 millions people playing the game each month. Microsoft has released the most recent sales figures as Mojang Studios celebrates 11 years since the first Minecraft alpha build was released.
Microsoft has also seen a significant increase in Minecraft usage during the pandemic. Minecraft has seen an increase of 25 percent in new players in the last month, and a 40 percent rise in multiplayer sessions.
Minecraft sales had previously reached 100 million in 2016, and the game hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. Minecraft was the most popular game on YouTube's statistics on viewership last year thanks to nostalgia-inducing gaming and a surge in YouTuber interest. Kd76
One of Microsoft's best acquisitions
Microsoft bought Minecraft maker Mojang six years ago for $2.5 Billion. At the time, the company had sold more than 50,000,000 copies across PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. It was a smart purchase by Microsoft, and the incredible growth in sales and the momentum that has followed ever since has kept players returning to the game for a long time.
Minecraft was initially conceived as an idea from a bedroom. It was initially made available as an Java applet on forums. The game was soon accepted by thousands of gamers who fell in the game's concept which let players create and construct structures out of blocks. It has been shared with millions of people through a massive community of players who share Minecraft tips and replicas of objects.

Minecraft Warden: how to Avoid, Spawn Or Fight
Minecraft Warden How to spawn, avoid, or fight
The Wild Update has the terrifying new Minecraft Warden mob. Here's the information you must be aware of and how to spot them and how to stay away from being caught.

Updated June 8, 2022, 05:08 ET
You want to learn more about the latest Minecraft Warden mob. It's part of Minecraft 1.19, this terrifying creature is found in Minecraft's caves. It recently made its debut in the first Minecraft snapshot.
The Minecraft Warden patrols the caverns' most secluded areas and is the only mob that is blind in the game. What makes the Warden so terrifying? Kd76 The Warden can locate you even if you don't have sight. Instead, the Warden uses sound to find the player so you'll need to be very sneaky to avoid a confrontation with this new mob - if you're clever you can throw things such as snowballs to convince the Warden to move in another direction. If you are exposed and you have no other choice then you must fight this powerful beast.
We will be sharing everything Mojang has to say about one of the most bizarre Minecraft mobs, including its damage output and health, as well as its movements, as well as where it appears.
Minecraft Warden spawn
Wardens are found in the Deep Dark biome. This means you'll have to travel a long distance on the cavern to find this mob. Wardens have specific requirements for spawning. If the light level falls below 11 and there are no Wardens nearby Wardens will pop from the ground when the player activates Sculk Shredder 3 times.
If a Warden is ever in sunlight or in a room that has an extremely bright light it will immediately bury itself and then disappear forever. It will also burrow itself after a minute of losing track of you.
Minecraft Warden tips
How to avoid being a Minecraft Warden
Wardens shuffle around, reacting to noises they hear by skulking in their bodies. Lights will flicker whenever they pass. Warden walks by due to the darkness debuff it emits. If you are in close proximity to a Warden and your vision will also be affected by the darkness.
If you opt to be sneaky and sneak around, the Warden will quietly walk by as long as you don't make a sound. To keep the Warden from being distracted throw snowballs. He'll eventually slip by.
However, if you notify a Warden to your presence by making too much noise or by being too close or by alerting a shrieker that it becomes more agitateduntil it breaks into a fit of anger and begins to chase you. There are three options available: run away, fight it or get it off the trail.
A Warden can outrun players who are running at full speed. If you plan to run it, ensure that you have a clearly defined route and sufficient endurance. A word of caution: hazards such as water won't hinder it and it's not susceptible to knockback and damage from both lava and fire.
There are a few options you can do to rid yourself of the Warden. Firstly, other non-Warden mobs can provoke it into attacking them by moving around. It is also possible to confuse it with projectiles or activating a minecart. This will allow you to slip away.
How do you defeat a Minecraft Warden
A Warden could have up to 250 hearts. The Warden's powerful attack power and health pool make them the most powerful mobs that can be made naturally in Minecraft. Because the strength of its attack is dependent on your difficulty setting Here are the Warden's stats:
- Easy: 8 hearts per hit - Normal: 15 hearts per hit - Hard: 22.5 hearts per hit
Its attacks disable Minecraft shields temporarily and have a the ability to reach vertically up to four blocks. Even even if you're wearing Netherite armor, you can be instantly killed by it in the event that you're playing in hard mode.
If you manage to kill an Warden and get killed, you'll receive just three experience orbs for your troubles. The block that it's standing on also becomes a Sculk block, and the blocks surrounding it become veins of sculk.

We know nothing so far about the Warden. It's worth investing a few Minecraft candles to brighten dark passageways.

But, that's only the beginning
First , we must be familiar with it: Minecraft remains one of the most played games ever. Its easy interface coupled with a focus on the creative - rather than competition - is what draws young minds to explore. It also has the benefit of being highly customizable and customisable code that lets anyone with the right skills to make a difference in the world.
However, that's just the beginning. It opens up the door to critical and imaginative thinking that is logically driven but almost limitless, when kids learn Minecraft programming. With a basic understanding of Minecraft operations, children quickly develop the ability to create environments and explore the limits of virtual worlds. Even better? Kd76 The immediate effect of their actions within the game can help foster the desire to explore further and find out exactly how Minecraft operations work.
Minecraft is the base. It is the solid foundation kids require to master advanced programming skills, such as Java or Python. It helps them eventually make the leap to creating mods and programs that modify the Minecraft world, or even create entirely new experiences.

Roblox Malware is Responsible for 9.6% of Gaming-related Cyberthreats
Roblox malware is the source of 9.6% of all gaming-related cyberthreats, based on the number of related malicious or unwanted files, according to a report from cyberthreat security firm Kaspersky's SecureList which examined the sandbox gaming platform as well as various other sources. The platform trails only Minecraft and FIFA, responsible for 25.2% and 11.7% of such threats, respectively.
Kaspersky is a leader in cybersecurity employs AI-driven technology for protection against hackers and viruses. Kaspersky has created gaming-related cyberthreats reports to warn gamers about the latest cyberthreats. It also offers information on the most dangerous and widespread malware that they could encounter.
The study looked into the risks and statistics associated with mining attacks on cryptocurrency, game cheating threats, and data theft. Kaspersky created an inventory of the top 28 most-loved games that were or are scheduled to launch on Steam and Origin, along with tiles that were platform-independent to determine which games were the most dangerous. Alongside Roblox the list also includes Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto, Need for Speed, Call of Duty, FIFA, CS:GO, and PlayerUnknown's BattleGrounds (PUBG).
The security firm found that the top five PC games used as bait for cybersecurity threats from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022, included Minecraft, Roblox, Need for Speed, Grand Theft Auto, and Call of Duty. The top mobile games played during the same time period included Minecraft, Roblox, Grand Theft Auto, PUBG and FIFA.
The organisation reviewed 91.984 files which contained malware and unwanted programs. These files were distributed to 384 224 users who were using the game's popular titles as a means of entice. It was ranked Roblox as the third most common threat vector based on the number of malicious or unwanted files (8,903) and the second in terms of number of affected users (38,838), behind only Minecraft (131,005).
Kaspersky's analysis suggests that multiplayer gaming platforms might be more dangerous than other games, specifically pointing towards Minecraft and Roblox as two examples.
The report states that "Worryingly" the primary target audience of these games is teenagers and children who lack experience in cybersecurity. "Because of this, we believe that they could become an easy victim for cybercriminals. This implies that we should pay special attention to cybersecurity hygiene training for children."
The company also says that malware and unsuitable software that is distributed as cheats pose significant threats, especially for players with a specific passion for a game series. Kd76
The report states that users frequently install malware on their devices which steals sensitive data when they attempt to download popular games from third-grade websites instead of purchasing them on the official website.
They are usually "cracked" versions of popular games that players try to illegally download and play for no cost instead of paying the retail price. It is also possible to download malicious games by clicking false links to legitimate websites.
Kaspersky offers several suggestions for gamers to protect themselves from malware, hacking attacks, and phishing. These include activating two-factor authentication on all accounts, using strong and unique passwords, and double-checking download URLs to ensure they are genuine. Kaspersky also recommends avoiding cracking software and other illicit content, including cheats.
To ensure that they are safe, our team reviews the games listed on our list of the most popular Roblox games for 2022. To obtain Roblox equipment at no cost, also look through our Roblox promo codes list for September. Children to Design the next National Park In Minecraft
Children to design a new national park in Minecraft
Schoolchildren in Adelaide, Australia, have been asked to design the national park in Minecraft which could then be built in reality.
Students aged between nine and 12 have been asked to design their own characters in the 3D blocky world.
These results could be used to upgrade existing national parks in Adelaide.
The government has allocated nearly $10.4m Australian dollars (PS5.4m) to redesign the.
It was determined to find a new method to engage young people in its activities.
"This competition is part of a project to engage the community asking people of all ages to suggest what kind of facilities would encourage them to spend more time in national parks," reads the Natural Resources, Adelaide website, which announced the award.
"The State government has allotted $10.4 million for parks projects. This means that some of the ideas your class generates might end up being used."
It was added that the sole rule is that any design must be feasible to realize in the real world. Kd76
"The park features must be in harmony with the natural surroundings, taking into account the animals and plants that live there."
Ideas could include trails for bushwalking, mountain biking or barbecues, horse riding and picnic areas - or something totally different," it suggested.
Redesigning slums
There is a rising trend to create more adventurous Minecraft designs.
As part of an educational program, the Danish government has created a map of the entire country.
In 2012, Mojang, the creators of Minecraft collaborated with the UN to assist them in designing city spaces in developing countries.
They recreated public spaces during the game and then shared it with local groups, where participants could redesign the spaces.
The project has prompted new ideas for green areas in Kiberia (the largest slum in Nairobi) and was used to create a new waterfront at Les Cayes, Haiti's largest city.
The Adelaide competition closes 12 June, and the winner will be announced one month later.
The winners will be awarded an excursion funded by the government to the Belair National Park.

'Minecraft' Library Helps You Dodge News Media Censorship
There are a myriad of ways to circumvent the media censorship but it's becoming more difficult as countries like China and Russia are securing VPNs and other similar tools. Reporters Without Borders thinks it can solve those mounting obstacles: make the news available through a game that's not often blocked. Kd76.Com The group has collaborated with BlockWorks and MediaMonks on the Uncensored Library, a Minecraft map that features news articles from journalists and websites that are often restricted for their unflattering information. Articles from Jamal Khashoggi, a murdered journalist from Saudi Arabia, Hatice Cengiz supports this project, Grani.ru, an activist-friendly Russian website and Mada Masr (an Egyptian anti-corruption outlet) as well as others.
You can also find out more on the current situation of press freedom in 180 countries.
The library is a technological achievement in its own right. It's like a huge neoclassical library, with huge collection of books and a specific section for each country. It isn't possible to tear the library apart but you can expand it if you have the time and the desire.
Reporters Without Borders believes that the Uncensored Library should have a high degree of resilience. Anyone can download the required map, and Minecraft's nature allows it to host another server in case an oppressive government attempts to shut one down. It's unlikely to last forever, though. Countries with draconian restrictions on censorship aren't likely think twice about bans on Minecraft in whole-heartedly -- this may be a temporary respite.
But that's not the whole purpose. This is also a commentary on censorship, and a way to engage people who normally wouldn't think much about such a difficult subject. If it encourages some Minecraft players to support press freedom or pursue investigative journalism as a profession then it has accomplished its goal.
