One is that Astarion was on the ban list in the pub in the shadowcursed lands. Which meant he was there near the end times, when he was a spawn. So how did that happen?! I got a whole idea around it, but idk if I'll ever write it up! short version: cazador took a couple of spawn walkies while trying to get in good with Keithric. it didnt work out well for him.

Hell, that whole town fascinates me. What was it like when it was 'good'??? Were some of them like Dr. Throm always an insane evil asshole? or did they just all lose their minds. like it basically underwent a tiny localized zombie apocalypse thing. and then was just. left alone. how fast did it all go down, what was it like being unable to get out aaaa

ppl say its not realistic to have it just STAYED like that, but idk i sort of think of it like a magical shadow version of Pripyat & Chernobyl here on earth. People /do/ abandon stuff, even nearby major areas!
